ATP Odds – Men’s Tennis

ATP Online events are usually some of the most dynamic men’s tennis betting markets since they have the widest range and scope available. Tennis fans can place a bet on the most prestigious tournaments of the ATP World Tour. Grand Slam events such as Wimbledon and the Australian Open are on this list, among others.

This page allows you to quickly find the most attractive tennis odds on all the biggest matches of the day. We only feature highly-rated, safe, trustworthy legit sportsbooks on our tennis odds page, so you can head over to the site with the best odds and place your wagers.

Beginners to tennis betting can keep reading to learn more about how to read tennis odds, so you can get started checking out tennis betting markets at your favorite online sportsbooks.

ATP Moneyline Odds

Moneyline odds are the most popular choice for tennis bettors. They allow you to wager on who they believe will win the match outright. These bets always win or lose, as there are no ties in tennis.

ATP moneyline bets are when you pick between one of two tennis players to win straight up. For example, you might find that Serena Williams is the -260 favorite to beat Ashleigh Barty at the US Open, and that Barty is the +150 underdog.

If you see a minus sign at the beginning of the tennis betting odds, it means that you have to wager a certain amount in order to make $100. In this instance, you would have to wage $260 if you wanted to make a $100 profit.

Your stake is returned if your wager is successful, so your return would be $360. You certainly do not have to bet $100. You could bet $50 at tennis odds of -260 and earn a $19.23 profit if Serena is victorious.

ATP Set Spread Odds

In tennis point spread betting, the underdog is provided with a point advantage by the oddsmakers so that there is a more level betting field. A point spread of 3.5 means the favorite would have to win by four games in order to cover the spread, whereas the underdog would have to not lose by more than three games for a winning wager.

For instance, let’s say Rafael Nadal is the -190 moneyline favorite to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas at the French Open, and Tsitsipas is the +160 underdog.

If you want more value on your bet, you could bet on Rafael Nadal to cover the spread (or the game handicap.) That means he would have to win by a margin of four or more games in order for the bet to pay out.

If he were to win 6-4, 6-3, 6-4, your bet would be successful, as he would have won 18 games and Tsitsipas would have won 11, and the margin is greater than 3.5.

However, if Nadal won 7-6, 6-5, 3-6, 6-4, your bet would be unsuccessful, as he would have only won two more games than his opponent.

That makes success harder to come by, as you have put an obstacle in your path, but your reward would be more attractive odds. You could expect to find odds of -110 instead of -190, resulting in a larger profit if successful.

The alternative option would be to bet on Tsitsipas to cover the spread, in which case he could win the game or lose by a margin of up to three games, and your bet would pay out. The profit would be smaller than betting on him to win on the money line, but your chances of success increase.

ATP Totals (Over/Under)

Tennis totals allow bettors to wager on whether the total number of games or sets played in a match will be higher or lower than a certain number.

If you believe a tennis match will exceed the total sets published by the sportsbook, then you would bet the OVER. If you think the match will be over in fewer, you would bet the UNDER.

If Garbine Muguruza is playing against Petra Kvitova at the Australian Open, bettors might find a sportsbook offering odds of -110 on over 21.5 games and -110 on under 21.5 games.

If you think it will be a long, drawn-out match, bet on over. If you think one player will do well, resulting in a straight sets win, bet on under. It doesn’t matter which player wins. All you care about with these bets is the total games played in the match.

ATP Live Odds

‘Live odds’ are the odds given by a bookmaker on an outcome available for wagers during a game, as opposed to before it. The term is also applied loosely to any odds betting that is not fixed – that is, where the odds on the bet posted can fluctuate during the period that the bet is ‘live’.

ATP Future Odds

Tennis futures are a type of bet that allows you to wager on who will win particular tournaments weeks or months before the event. You can find Australian Open odds, French Open odds, Wimbledon odds, and more. Odds for the US Open, an ATP Masters 1000 event, or other tournaments on the ATP Tour, and WTA Tour are all available at sportsbooks all over the web.

The odds compilers will assign odds on each player, with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Simona Halep, and Elina Svitolina usually the favorites.

The odds will grow progressively longer until you reach the rank of outsider. It could be a player with a low ranking, a youngster such as Alexander Zverev at the start of his career, or a player struggling with injury, such as Andy Murray.

You simply bet on the player you think will win. You can also find futures bets on a player reaching the final, or props bets like hitting a certain number of aces in a particular tournament.
