Despite winning 9 of their 14 EPL home games this season, Tottenham surrendered a point on this tally when Wolverhampton visited the North London area and left with a 2-1 victory last weekend.
Spurs, who were once looking comfortable as a top-four side earlier this term, are now chasing the coveted fourth position in the EPL table since Aston Villa has extended the gap to five points.
While Champions League football of next season is probably the last thing on the mind of Ange Postecoglou, The Red Devils are within three points of stealing Spurs’ fifth position in the table, and dropping outside the top five is undoubtedly out of the question for the Lillywhite’s’ manager.
Crystal Palace
The good news for Tottenham is that they’ll receive a relatively disgruntled opponent in Crystal Palace on Saturday. It’s not the most recognized London derby, but Spurs have notably defeated Palace in four consecutive meetings dating back to December 2021.
Moreover, this is one of the worst seasons for Palace in recent memory, and while the 13th position in the EPL standings doesn’t look horrific on paper, Oliver Glasner is yet to settle in as the club’s new manager, and his squad are just eight points from the dreaded drop-zone.

The EPL outright winner betting odds naturally favor Spurs, but the Lilywhite’s inability to keep a clean sheet and Palace’s streak of both teams scoring give us a much more tempting wager to place.
With only one clean sheet in their previous 10 games, fading the Spurs’ defense has become a must. Since taking the helm at Palace, Glasner’s men have netted four goals in two games, so expecting both teams to score in this London derby is a probable outcome to get behind.

SSC Napoli vs. Juventus Turin

After capturing the Serie A title last term, nobody would’ve predicted the reigning Italian titleholders would be struggling for a position in the top 10 of the division. But here we are, 26 games into the 2023/24 season, and Napoli is in ninth position with 40 points – just four points clear of 10th-placed Torino and Monza in 11TH.
Champions League success remains within the grasp of Gil Azzurri, but the midweek schedule on top of weekend domestic fixtures could be the reason behind their poor Serie A performances. With that said, all is not lost, and the top of the table is tight, as it’ll only take a positive streak for last season’s champs to break the eight-point gap between ninth and fourth in the standings.
Juventus
Juventus travel to Napoli on Sunday with Serie A glory still in their sights. Unfortunately, losing two of their last six games hasn’t helped, and now, Inter Milan is rapidly running away from the pack with a 12-point gap at the summit between themselves and second-placed Juve.
The good news, however, is that the giants of Turin snapped a four-game winless run last weekend, running through Frosinone with a thrilling 3-2 scoreline. They also defeated Napoli in the reverse fixture (1-0) and will be confident in replicating this result, as consistency has plagued their Sunday opponents.

The Serie A moneyline odds aren’t of interest this weekend because a rivalry game between two high-profile clubs often results in a lack of goals.
