They’ll enter Saturday’s clash with basement dwellers Nottingham Forest unbeaten in seven consecutive EPL home fixtures – netting at least two goals in all of their previous four at Anfield. And despite sitting nine points away from a Champions League qualification spot, they’ve lost just 1 of their last 37 Premier League home games.
Nottingham Forest
Forest silenced the Merseyside faithful in the reverse fixture earlier this term. When Liverpool visited Nottingham in October of last year, a 1-0 scoreline gifted the newly promoted side all three points.
Can the Midlands club replicate this shock result? It’s unlikely, especially when we consider their current form. Nottingham Forest is winless in their last 10 EPL meetings – losing seven games during that run. They’ve conceded 11 goals from their previous 4 away games, and with revenge on their mind, we could witness another shutout victory from Liverpool as they provided against Leeds last time out.

The Premier League odds for Liverpool versus Nottingham Forest are heavily swayed in favor of the home side. Although Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool squad have severely underperformed this season, the talent level discrepancy between themselves and Nottingham is vast.

Six games remain in the Bundesliga 2022/23 season. Borussia Dortmund will look to keep pace with the mighty Bayern Munich in the title race when they roll out the red carpet for Eintracht Frankfurt at the Signal Iduna Park this Saturday.
Second in the table, sitting two points behind Bayern, drawing with VfB Stuttgart last weekend wasn’t in the plan. However, fortunately for Edin Terzic’s side, their title-chasing foes matched their defensive woes and drew with Hoffenheim.
As Bayern was recently eliminated from the DFB-Pokal at the hands of SC Freiburg, received a beating and an exit from the Champions League thanks to Manchester City, and hasn’t shown a drop in consistency since the arrival of new manager Thomas Tuchel, Dortmund will be hoping this trend can stick around as they look to capitalize on their impeccable home form.
BVB has failed to win just 3 of their previous 13 Bundesliga games and will be happy to welcome a Frankfurt side that’s winless in their last 7 meetings.
Eintracht Frankfurt
Frankfurt displayed fine form between November and February, involving a 7-game unbeaten streak. However, they’ve collected a mere four points from a possible 21 since then and will enter Signal Iduna Park on the back of four draws and three losses since their last win.
We should also consider Frankfurt’s away form. This squad has faltered in 4 of their last 5 road games, and in those four defeats, we’ve witnessed at least two goals conceded. Having failed to win an away game in any of their last eight trips, Saturday’s visitors look almost certain to struggle in Dortmund this weekend.
Pick and Prediction
The Bundesliga odds naturally favor Borussia Dortmund, but a respectable price of -155 was a pleasant surprise. Given Frankfurt’s horrid away form and BVB’s quest for the Bundesliga title, backing the home team’s straight-up win is a simple but valuable wager.
