The Chicago Sky will battle the Atlanta Dream in another WNBA Commissioner’s Cup matchup in College Park, Georgia.
The Sky are just 2-6 on the season and have really struggled behind Angel Reese. Reese has gotten lots of hate over social media throughout her first two seasons after comments she made about how she’s helping Caitlin Clark turn around the WNBA, too.
However, Clark and the Fever are winning and Reese and the Sky aren’t. When Clark got hurt, the revenue and watch time decreased by 50%, and games that Reese plays in don’t receive the same attention from the WNBA fanbase as Clark’s.
Ultimately, Reese put a lot of pressure on herself with those comments, and now she’s not living up to the hype. Reese may lose her confidence and perform just like Ben Simmons. Ironically, both of them went to LSU. However, Simmons lost his confidence and was never the star that many had expected him to be. Reese is the fourth-leading scorer on the Sky and has averaged more rebounds than points per game this season. She’s also missed many point-blank layups.
Nobody would be talking about all of this if she hadn’t made the comments about how she’s helping improve the WNBA. However, the pressure is now on her shoulders due to her actions and comments. It’s clearly got to her.
Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s game before heading to our top-rated sportsbooks.
Picks Summary:
- Angel Reese Over 10.5 Points (-130)

Chicago Sky vs. Atlanta Dream
Friday, June 13, 2025 – 07:30 PM EDT at Gateway Center
Angel Reese has a points prop of 10.5 tonight at odds of -130. She scored at least 13 points in four of her last six games and has hit this line in 63% of games this season. She’s also averaged 12 points per game in three career games against the Dream.
Meanwhile, her rebounds prop is stuck at 11.5. She’s hit at least 12 rebounds in 63% of games, but has only hit this line in two of her last five games. Again, she’s averaged 15 rebounds per game against the Dream in her first three meetings.
Finally, Reese has an assist prop at 3.5. She’s only hit the over with this line in 25% of games and has missed this line in all three games against the Dream.
Is Angel Reese Turning The Corner?
Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky lost to the New York Liberty, 85-66, last time out. However, Reese finished the game with 17 points and 11 rebounds and shot 61.5% from the field on 8-for-13. She’s improving overall. Those numbers against the Liberty are not easily earned. That said, she’s facing a Dream squad that ranks 10th in the WNBA in points allowed to power forwards this season.
The Dream has already given up 12 points per game to Reese in three starts. The Dream has allowed her to score at least 11 points in every game she’s played in. Plus, she’s hit this line in 63% of games this season and nailed this line in seven of her last ten games overall.
If Reese Makes Her Shots, She Won’t Earn Rebounds!
Ultimately, if Angel Reese shoots better than 50% from the floor, it’s unlikely she’ll add enough offensive rebounds to grab 12+ rebounds in the game.
She feeds off those missed layups. However, she should get some wide-open looks in tonight’s game where she won’t have to add multiple offensive rebounds for second-chance points.
Without those rebounds, the Under will be the play.
Assists Aren’t Her Cup Of Tea!
Angel Reese has secured at least four assists in only 25% of games this season. She’s also added at least four assists in none of her matchups against the Dream in her career.
Ultimately, the Dream rank second in the WNBA in assists allowed to power forwards. It’s certainly not going to be easy for Reese to add a high number of assists. Plus, the Sky have struggled offensively all year. Even if she makes the right pass, it doesn’t mean her teammates will score.
The Sky have been one of the worst offenses in the WNBA. Reese would likely need eight or nine potential assists even to get a chance at four assists.
WNBA Picks:
- Angel Reese Over 10.5 Points (-130)
- Angel Reese Under 11.5 Rebounds (-136)
- Angel Reese Under 3.5 Assists (-125)
