This will be a tough task for the Grizzlies as they have lost all four games they have played in Los Angeles against the Lakers this season. The Lakers have used their home-court advantage to defeat their younger, less experienced rivals. Los Angeles needs one more home-court win against the Grizzlies to end their season.

The legend of LeBron James will continue to grow if they are able to get this win. Memphis will not go out quietly, however.
The Grizzlies are an excellent basketball team and the Lakers will need their best performances from their stars to be able to compete tonight. The Lakers will need big nights from both Anthony Davis and LeBron James if they are to win. Fortunately, the Lakers know they can rely on the championship pedigree of their two biggest stars.

LeBron James had a spectacular 20-point, 20-rebound performance in the Lakers’ win in Game 4. James looked tired in Game 5, and the fatigue led to a muted output from the Lakers superstar. He will bounce back tonight at home after using Game 5 as a rest game.
James has recorded a Double-Double in five of the six playoff games he has played so far. The only game in which he failed to record a Double-Double was the Game 3 win against Memphis where he had 25 points and nine rebounds.
He has turned into a Double-Double machine and has been rebounding at a prolific rate in these playoffs. LeBron James will lead the way by grabbing plenty of rebounds to go with his scoring prowess.

After losing the first two games of their playoff series against the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors have bounced back with three straight wins, including a victory in Sacramento in Game 5 on Wednesday night.
Steph Curry had 31 points and Klay Thompson chipped in 25 in the Warriors’ crucial Game 5 win. Now the Warriors have a chance to end their series tonight and move on to the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The Sacramento Kings will need to shoot better from three-point range if they are to get a win. In the final three-quarters of Game 5, the Kings were just 2-22 from three-point range. This came on the heels of the Kings setting a franchise single-quarter record with 8 threes in the first 12 minutes. The Kings will need to play better for more than a quarter if they want to stay alive.
The Pick
The Warriors’ Draymond Green might have only been suspended one game for his stomp to the chest of Kings forward Domantas Sabonis, but the results to Sabonis could still be lingering. Sabonis clearly injured his sternum and it has affected his play this series.
Domantas Sabonis has only gone over tonight’s rebounding total in Game 1 and Game 3. Sabonis only had seven rebounds in Game 4 and only 10 rebounds in Game 5. He is not 100% and the athleticism of his counterpart on the Warriors, Kevon Looney, is troubling to Sabonis.
Sabonis is one of the league’s leading rebounders, yet Looney is causing Sabonis issues with doing what he does best. Sabonis is a monster on the glass, but Looney has been able to neutralize him. Unfortunately, tonight will be the final chapter. Domantas Sabonis will not show off his normal rebounding skills.
