The Sacramento Kings defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 121-103 on Tuesday night and clinched the Pacific Division title. The win kept the Kings alive to catch the Memphis Grizzlies and maybe be the number two seed in the Western Conference.
To catch Memphis, the Kings will have to win the remainder of their games and for Memphis to lose twice in its last three games. While it is not likely, the Kings will attempt to finish strong in preparation for their first playoff berth in over 16 years.
When the Dallas Mavericks acquired Kyrie Irving, there were expectations they would rocket up the standings. However, the opposite has happened and Dallas is barely alive to make the playoffs. Dallas needs a win tonight and they could get 10th place and be alive for the playoffs. They face a tough task against the Kings, however.
The Pick
Keegan Murray set a rookie record for 3-pointers made in the season. Murray had 21 points and 7 3-pointers against the Pelicans. He also has gone over tonight’s prop total in his last three games. While the Kings might rest some of their veteran players, the rookie will get plenty of playing time regardless of the score.
This creates a great opportunity when betting on an NBA player prop. Keegan Murray will have another big night tonight.

The New York Knicks are assured to finish in 5th place in the Eastern Conference this season. With their playoff spot determined, most teams would rest. However, that is not the style that New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau preaches. Thibodeau will push his players to the end. This creates a good opportunity for us tonight when targeting Knicks player props.
The Knicks face the Indiana Pacers, who started off well this year but ended the season by packing their bags and sitting their best players. The Pacers are attempting to get a better draft position by losing their last games. The Pacers went over their regular season win total and are 34-45 right now.
However, they have not been trying as of late and are 2-7 over their last nine games. Of those seven losses, only one was by less than 10 points.
The Pick
Mitchell Robinson will have an excellent matchup tonight with the Pacers sitting one of their best players, center Myles Turner. Without Turner in the lineup, the Pacers lack the size to be able to keep Robinson off the glass. The Pacers have been struggling against opposing centers when Turner is not in the lineup.
Mitchell Robinson has gone over tonight’s rebounding total in his last 2 games. Robinson averages 9.1 rebounds per game this season but I expect that number to be even higher tonight. Robinson will have another big rebounding game tonight.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans will be fighting to stay alive for the playoffs when they face the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. The Pelicans fell to the Kings 121-103 last night. However, the Pelicans have been playing well and it was only their second loss in their last nine games.
The Grizzlies need the win to secure the number two seed in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies have a two-game lead over the third-place Sacramento Kings with three games to play. The Grizzlies have achieved a 50-win season regardless of the results of the last three games. The Grizzlies are currently 50-29.
The Pick
Brandon Ingram had 22 points for the Pelicans last night. That ended a streak of 9 consecutive games in which Brandon Ingram scored at least 25 points. Over the nine-game stretch, he averaged 30.3 points per game.
Ingram has also been quite the willing passer and has recorded a double-double in three of his last seven games. Although that does not mean he will definitely have one tonight, the NBA odds are in our favor when looking at the juicy price we are receiving for Ingram to have a double-double.
With everything on the line, I expect Ingram to have another good game tonight and for him to record a double-double.
