Walker (oblique) was transferred Thursday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Walker was diagnosed Monday with a right oblique strain and it's severe enough to end his season. The 28-year-old lefty allowed 11 runs -- nine earned -- in 10 innings of relief with the Mets in 2023.

ANALYSIS
Walker gave up two solo homers while recording only two outs in his last appearance Saturday versus Atlanta as his season ERA climbed to 8.10. He'll be sidelined for at least the next couple of weeks.

Walker was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The left-hander has been in the minors for the past five weeks but will rejoin the Mets on Tuesday after the organization traded away some bullpen pieces at the deadline. Walker has given up five earned runs with a 6:6 K:BB over 6.2 frames in his first taste of the big leagues this season.

ANALYSIS
Walker was up with the Mets for just one day after he was designated as the 27th man for Saturday's pseudo doubleheader with the Red Sox, which came about after Friday's series opener was suspended due to inclement weather. He ended up pitching in the second game of the day, recording two outs while allowing one hit.

ANALYSIS
Walker has been stellar in Triple-A but has yet to translate his success into the majors. He holds a 7.50 ERA and 2.00 WHIP through six appearances out of the bullpen and will now head back to Syracuse in order to return to form. T.J. McFarland was selected from Triple-A in a corresponding move to take Walker's place.

ANALYSIS
Before appearing in games Friday and Sunday, Walker had been day-to-day after exiting a relief outing Wednesday against the Astros when he took a comebacker off the leg. Walker had maintained a tidy 1.59 ERA through his first five appearances with the Mets, but he's now sitting on a 7.50 ERA after struggling mightily over the weekend.

ANALYSIS
Walker was struck by a Jeremy Pena comebacker while making a relief appearance in the bottom of the seventh inning Wednesday afternoon at Minute Maid Park. He had a noticeable limp as he made his way into the Mets' dugout but ultimately walked off under his own power. Consider him day-to-day for now.

The 28-year-old southpaw holds an impressive 0.68 ERA and 0.92 WHIP through 13.1 frames in Triple-A and will likely be a top choice to return to the majors should New York's bullpen depth be tested later in the season.
