ANALYSIS
Zubac came tantalizingly close to his sixth double-double of the season after hitting that mark three times over the past week. Zubac is still logging 30-plus minutes despite some additions on the roster to prop up the frontcourt. Zubac faced little competition last season and logged the highest minute-per-game average of his career, but he's proven to be more than capable of handling the workload.

ANALYSIS
The double-double was his second straight after a bit of a slow start to the season on the glass, while the three blocks were a season high for Zubac. The 28-year-old center is coming off a breakout 2024-25 campaign, but so far in 2025-26 he's taken a slight step back, averaging 15.2 points, 8.6 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.4 blocks in 28.8 minutes over five games. On the bright side, he's shooting 90.9 percent from the free-throw line, which would be a massive improvement after he posted a career-worst 66.1 percent mark from the charity stripe last season.

ANALYSIS
Zubac went to work against the sophomore, Donovan Clingan, and he dominated the matchup. He would regularly gain deep post position and then proceed to muscle in buckets through the Portland defenders. It was a favorable matchup for Zubac, which helped him log a season-high 35 minutes, but it'll be interesting to see what his playing time looks like Tuesday with a meeting against the small-ball Warriors.

Zubac was a bright spot in the Clippers disappointing debut. He led the team in points with 19, as they struggled against a hot-shooting Utah Jazz squad. Zubac was a double-double machine in 2024-25, tying Nikola Jokic for 2nd most (59). However, the Jazz only missed 11 shots total in the first half, limiting the rebound opportunities and ultimately putting the game out of reach. Zubac scored in double digits in all 13 of his January appearances, averaging 15.5 points, 13.5 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals on the month while shooting 61.5 percent from the floor.
Jan 30, 2025
Pulls in season-high 22 rebounds
Zubac recorded 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-5 FT), 22 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 128-116 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's season-high 22 rebounds helped him record his third straight double-double. The 27-year-old big man's season average of 12.8 boards per contest ranks fourth in the NBA. Zubac is also shooting above 60 percent from the field for the sixth consecutive year.
Jan 28, 2025
Scores season-high 25 points
Zubac supplied 25 points (12-17 FG, 1-1 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Monday's 111-109 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded his best scoring output of the season but was also impressive on the boards, as this was his 15th game with at least 15 rebounds. That impressive ability on both ends of the court has catapulted Zubac to the status of being one of the top centers in The Association this season. He's averaging 15.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 blocks per game since the beginning of January.
Jan 23, 2025
Cleared to play Thursday
Zubac (eye) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will return from a two-game absence due to a left eye corneal abrasion. The big man has averaged 14.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 blocks in 29.2 minutes per game over his last five outings, and his availability should send Mo Bamba back to the bench.
Jan 21, 2025
Won't play Wednesday
Zubac (eye) is out for Wednesday's game versus the Celtics, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will miss his second straight contest Wednesday due to a left eye corneal abrasion. Mo Bamba will likely draw another start in his absence. Zubac's next chance to suit up is Thursday's matchup with Washington.
Jan 20, 2025
Won't play Monday
Zubac (eye) won't play Monday against the Bulls, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played through a back injury Sunday against the Lakers, finishing with 21 points (9-16 FG, 3-3 FT), 19 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal in 35 minutes. However, he was poked in the eye during that contest, so the Clippers will give him the night off against Chicago. With Zubac sidelined, Mo Bamba and Kai Jones could see some minutes at center, and Nicolas Batum could be an option in smaller lineup combos.
Jan 20, 2025
Huge double-double in Sunday's win
Zubac accumulated 21 points (9-16 FG, 3-3 FT), 19 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 116-102 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old center has been dominating the glass of late, ripping down 16 or more boards in four of the last seven games. Over that stretch, Zubac is averaging 15.4 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.3 blocks while shooting 64.8 percent from the floor. Zubac already has 26 double-doubles on the season in 41 appearances, leaving him just one short of his career-high 27, set in 2022-23.
Jan 19, 2025
Cleared to play Sunday
Zubac (back) is available for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was one of several regulars who were deemed questionable for this rivalry matchup, but the big man will give it a go and suit up Sunday. He's been an excellent two-way threat for the Clippers, averaging 14.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game since the beginning of January.
Jan 18, 2025
Iffy for Sunday
Zubac is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers with lower back soreness, ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk reports.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers are expected to get Kawhi Leonard back from a maintenance-related absence, but now they have four players carrying questionable tags including Norman Powell (back), James Harden (illness) and Kris Dunn (knee). If Zubac is unable to give it a go, Nicolas Batum could see a healthy workload, and Mo Bamba would be on the streaming radar for fantasy managers in need of blocks.
Jan 16, 2025
Efficient in blowout win
Zubac amassed 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 126-67 victory over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was efficient and filled the stat sheet admirably, ending just one rebound shy of recording yet another double-double despite logging just 22 minutes. The low minute total is directly tied to the nature of the game, so Zubac should handle his regular workload when the Clippers take on the Trail Blazers on Thursday in the second leg of a back-to-back set.
Jan 14, 2025
Spectacular 20-20 performance
Zubac registered 21 points (10-13 FG, 1-3 FT), 20 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 32 minutes during Monday's 109-98 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded his second 20-20 performance of the season, matching his season-high mark in boards and recording the 20-point mark for the 12th time so far. The big man is having an outstanding year on both ends of the court and is putting up elite numbers across the board. Zubac is averaging 15.4 points, 14.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game since the beginning of January.
Jan 9, 2025
Comes close to double-double
Zubac provided 10 points (2-4 FG, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 126-103 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Zubac didn't have his best scoring performance, at least when comparing it to the numbers he's posted in recent weeks, but he still made his presence on the glass after ending just two boards shy of a double-double. The veteran big man is enjoying a career-best campaign and remains a threat to record a double-double every time he steps on the hardwood. On that note, Zubac has 10 double-doubles across his last 13 appearances dating back to Dec. 8.
Jan 7, 2025
Posts massive double-double
Zubac totaled 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists, six blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Zubac racked up his 24th double-double of the campaign and was everywhere on defense -- he recorded at least six blocks for the third time in his career, finishing one block shy of his career-best mark (7). He's been outstanding this season and is on pace to return sixth-round value in nine-category formats.
Jan 5, 2025
Logs massive double-double in win
Zubac racked up 18 points (9-11 FG, 0-1 FT), 18 rebounds, four assists and one block over 32 minutes during Saturday's 131-105 victory over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac continues to be one of the most dependable big men in the league, and he's managed to stay off the injury report despite working through the highest usage of his career. Zubac now logs 30-plus minutes with regularity, which is a definite change for the veteran after platooning for the Clippers over his seven-year tenure with the team. Zubac has recorded wight double-doubles over his past 10 games and now has 23 double-doubles for the season.
Jan 3, 2025
Narrowly misses double-double
Zubac finished Thursday's 116-98 loss to Oklahoma City with 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 23 minutes.
ANALYSIS
After scoring just five points in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Spurs, Zubac fell one board shy of his 23rd double-double of the campaign, although he likely would have attained that feat had Thursday's contest been more competitive. Over his last 10 contests, the veteran big man is averaging 16.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 blocks and is shooting 62.4 percent from the field. Zubac has been a steal thus far for fantasy managers who selected him in the later rounds of drafts this past fall, and the 27-year-old should remain a force when it comes to swats and boards while producing a high field-goal percentage.
Jan 1, 2025
Held in check
Zubac provided five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 122-86 loss to San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
To be fair to Zubac, the matchup with Victor Wembanyama is as tough as it gets and this was the second leg of a back-to-back set. Plus, Zubac has been playing through a mild calf injury. He's had a tremendous season so far and fantasy managers can just chalk this up as a rare dud.
Dec 31, 2024
Posts massive line
Zubac accumulated 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-5 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 116-113 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
This was just another day at the office for Zubac as he continued his breakout season. Through 32 games, he's on pace to return seventh-round value in nine-category leagues with averages of 15.4 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks on 61.7 percent shooting from the field.
Dec 23, 2024
Logs 20-20 game against Memphis
Zubac accumulated 20 points (10-18 FG, 0-1 FT), 20 rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 40 minutes during Monday's 114-110 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac grabbed a season-high 20 rebounds Monday, nine of which came on the offensive end of the floor. It was Zubac's sixth straight game with a double-double and his 20th of the regular season, which currently has him tied with Trae Young, Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo for third-most in the NBA. Over his last six games, Zubac has averaged 17.8 points on 62.0 percent shooting, 14.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks over 33.5 minutes per game.
Dec 23, 2024
Active and starting
Zubac (calf) is part of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a game-time decision Monday due to right calf soreness, but he's been given the green light to suit up. In his last five games, Zubac is averaging 17.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 combined steals-plus-blocks.
Dec 23, 2024
Questionable against Memphis
Zubac is questionable versus Memphis on Monday due to right calf soreness.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a late addition to the injury report which is an ominous sign for fantasy managers. He's yet to miss a game this season, and this is the first report of a calf issue. If he's unable to go, the Clippers could turn to Mo Bamba and Nicolas Batum to pick up the slack.
Dec 22, 2024
Top rebounds in double-double game
Zubac closed with 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 113-97 loss to Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led all Clippers on the glass in Saturday's contest, hauling in a game-best rebound total and concluding as the lone Los Angeles player with a double-double in a losing effort. Zubac has hauled in 15 or more boards in eight outings this season, recording a double-double in seven of those eight contests.
Dec 20, 2024
Posts another double-double
Zubac notched 21 points (10-13 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Thursday's 118-95 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac remains one of the best two-way big men in The Association this season, and he bolstered his resume of a career-best campaign in 2024-25 with another double-double -- his fourth in a row and 18th in total. Zubac is averaging career-best marks in points (15.1), rebounds (12.3) and assists (2.5) per game this season.
Dec 17, 2024
Strong performance Monday
Zubac accumulated 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 26 minutes during Monday's 144-107 win over Utah.
ANALYSIS
James Harden and Norman Powell might have been the stars of the show in this huge blowout win over the Jazz, but Zubac certainly left his mark on both ends of the court. He notched his third consecutive double-double, and the big man continues to have a career-best season while enjoying a bigger role on offense. Zubac is averaging 14.9 points and 12.2 rebounds per game this season, notching career-best figures in both categories by a wide margin.
Dec 14, 2024
Posts another double-double
Zubac produced 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 120-98 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's scoring numbers have experienced a regression compared to the early weeks of the season, though that was expected, but he remains a consistent force on the boards. The big man has recorded double-digit rebounds in all but one of his last 14 appearances, a span in which he's averaging 13.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 blocks per game. Zubac has recorded 16 double-doubles across 26 games in 2024-25.
Dec 9, 2024
Double-double in Sunday's loss
Zubac notched 21 points (9-15 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 37 minutes during Sunday's 117-106 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
The veteran center continues to dominate the glass. Zubac has pulled down double-digit boards in 12 of the last 13 games, recording eight double-doubles over that stretch while averaging 13.5 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.9 blocks while shooting 62.6 percent from the floor. His 12.2 boards a game on the season puts him fourth in the NBA, behind only Nikola Jokic (13.6), Karl-Anthony Towns (13.2 ) and Domantas Sabonis (12.7).
Nov 30, 2024
Another double-double
Zubac posted 16 points (8-9 FG), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 34 minutes during Friday's 93-92 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded his sixth consecutive double-double, and the star big man has also grabbed 10 or more rebounds in nine appearances in a row. His two-way contributions have been a big reason why the Clippers have posted solid results despite missing key contributors such as Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Norman Powell (hamstring). Over that nine-game stretch, Zubac is averaging 15.1 points and 13.0 rebounds per game while shooting 68.4 percent from the floor.
Nov 28, 2024
Big double-double Wednesday
Zubac posted 18 points (9-11 FG), 16 rebounds, one assist and one block in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 121-96 win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
It was a highly efficient night for Zubac, who registered his 13th double-double of the season in three quarters after head coach Tyronn Lue opted to keep his starters out of the fourth period in Wednesday's blowout win. Zubac has been a revelation for the Clippers in what has been a breakout 2024-25 campaign so far this year for the 27-year-old veteran big man, and over his last seven games, he's averaging 16.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 blocks in 29.8 minutes per contest. Zubac should continue to be a very strong source of rebounds for fantasy managers going forward.
Nov 26, 2024
Double-doubles in loss
Zubac finished Monday's 126-94 loss to the Celtics with 23 points (11-14 FG, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block across 29 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's breakout season continued Monday as he recorded his 12th double-double of the campaign. He's on pace for an eight-round finish in nine-category formats, but if you're punting free throws, he would jump up to a fourth-round valuation. For the season, he's averaging an impressive 15.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks in 33.0 minutes.
Nov 25, 2024
Posts another double-double
Zubac supplied 16 points (8-10 FG, 0-1 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block in 25 minutes during Sunday's 125-99 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been one of the most consistent big men in the NBA this season, and the veteran has racked up three straight double-doubles, and four in his last five appearances. He's averaging a solid 13.6 points and 12.2 rebounds per game since the beginning of November.
Nov 23, 2024
Double-double in Friday's win
Zubac had 10 points (5-8 FG), 15 rebounds, four assists and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 104-88 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
The veteran center pulled down double-digit boards for the fifth straight game and the 15th time in 17 contests to begin the season. Zubac's inconsistent offense has led him to only 10 double-doubles, but he's still on track for a breakout campaign, averaging 15.1 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor. He may be able to find another gear, too -- his 57.9 percent shooting from the free-throw line is well below his career 73.1 percent mark.
Nov 21, 2024
Records 10th double-double in win
Zubac closed with 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 104-93 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Zubac continues to perform well despite experiencing an extreme usage increase during his ninth season. His perfect attendance record is impressive when you consider the load he has to carry, but the lack of reasonable competition on the roster makes his increased presence necessary to the team's success.
Nov 19, 2024
Pulls down 17 boards Monday
Zubac recorded eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 17 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 102-99 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac didn't look at his best when shooting the rock, but the big man was impressive as a rebounder and dominated the glass on the defensive end. This was Zubac's third straight game, and sixth in his last seventh, with at least 10 rebounds. He's averaging 12.4 boards, and 15.3 points, per game this season.
Nov 18, 2024
Bounces back in win Sunday
Zubac chipped in 22 points (11-17 FG, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 33 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 victory over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was coming off a few subpar performances, at least compared to the numbers he was delivering in the early stages of the season, but he bounced back admirably in this 11-point win for the Clippers. Zubac took full advantage of his physical advantage compared to John Collins and dominated the paint on both ends of the court, resulting in his fifth double-double across nine November appearances. He's averaging 14.0 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 blocks per game in the current month.
Nov 14, 2024
Double-double streak snapped
Zubac chipped in eight points (4-8 FG, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 111-103 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac ended his three-game double-double streak, as well as his stretch of five consecutive appearances scoring in double digits, in this loss. This was Zubac's worst outing of the season from a statistical perspective, but fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned with one off night. The big man has been very productive for the Clippers and has embraced the bigger responsibility on both ends of the court with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined. Zubac is averaging 14.0 points and 11.6 rebounds per game in seven appearances since the beginning of November.
Nov 11, 2024
Nabs double-double in defeat
Zubac had 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds and three blocks across 34 minutes during Monday's 134-128 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Despite the Thunder's tallest player in the starting five standing at 6-foot-6, Zubac was extremely quiet in the first half, during which he posted only four points on two attempts while being swarmed in the paint. However, the big man was electric in the second half, and he finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Norman Powell (31). Zubac's efficiency and ability to rack up rebounds has made him a consistent starter in fantasy formats, and he has totaled seven double-doubles through 11 regular-season appearances.
Nov 10, 2024
Sixth double-double of season
Zubac ended with 14 points (7-12 FG), 12 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Understandably, Zubac's numbers have regressed a bit following an impressive start to the season that saw him score at least 20 points in four of his first five appearances. He hasn't reached the 20-point mark in five games in November, but he remains a productive two-way player with three double-doubles in that span -- and six overall across 10 games in 2024-25.
Nov 9, 2024
Fifth double-double Friday
Zubac contributed 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and two blocks over 37 minutes during Friday's 107-98 victory over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old center has five double-doubles in nine games to begin the season, and Zubac has pulled down double-digit boards in two other contests. He's en route to a breakout campaign, averaging career highs in points (16.7), rebounds (12.8) and assists (3.0) while chipping in 1.5 combined steals and blocks a game.
Nov 7, 2024
Flirts with double-double in win
Zubac ended with 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 110-98 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac continues to carry a heavy load for the Clippers, who have a shortage of big men to provide support inside. Kai Jones is a developmental player who can't provide consistent relief, and it's a potential issue since Zubac isn't accustomed to playing 30-plus minutes every night. He'll remain a dependable fantasy option as long as he can stay healthy.
Nov 5, 2024
Another double-double
Zubac provided 17 points (6-17 FG, 5-5 FT), 13 rebounds and four assists over 37 minutes during Monday's 113-104 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac continues to produce at a high level on both ends of the court for the Clippers. The big man, who's enjoying the best start to a season in his nine-year career, has racked up four double-doubles over his last six appearances, putting up 16.8 points and 13.7 rebounds per game in that span.
Nov 3, 2024
Struggles on offense Saturday
Zubac had nine points (4-10 FG, 1-5 FT), 12 rebounds, one block and one steal over 28 minutes during Saturday's 105-92 loss to Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has scored in single digits in two of his last three appearances, and even though this was a subpar outing for the big man, the fact that he's scored at least 20 points in four of his six games is noteworthy. The big man is enjoying more responsibility on offense with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined, but he's been up to the challenge. He's averaging 17.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game to open the campaign. Additionally, this was his fifth consecutive game with double-digit rebounds.
Nov 1, 2024
Bounces back with double-double
Zubac had 22 points (9-10 FG, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 36 minutes during Thursday's 125-119 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The difference for Zubac is significant when Kai Jones doesn't contribute, but the veteran center is in for a long season if he is forced to carry such a heavy load. Zubac is far more accustomed to 25 minutes on the floor, and the lack of support should be a cause of concern for managers who depend on his production. He's handling the extra burden fine so far, but reduced minutes in back-to-back games should be expected.
Oct 31, 2024
Slight regression in loss
Zubac supplied six points (2-7 FG, 2-6 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 106-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Although Zubac recorded 12 rebonds, his scoring took a bit of a dip after a strong start to the season. Kai Jones was able to log more time in this game, which changes Zubac's outlook to a degree. The team is still shallow at the position, but competition from the second unit is increasing, and Zubac is unaccustomed to logging 30-plus minutes every night.
Oct 28, 2024
Extends 20-point streak
Zubac registered 23 points (10-19 FG, 3-4 FT), 18 rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Sunday's 112-104 win over Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been one of the most surprising performers to start the 2024-25 season. The big man has embraced a bigger role on offense and has taken full advantage of the opportunity, scoring at least 20 points in each of his first three games -- something he'd previously never achieved in his career. It wouldn't be a stretch to see Zubac as one of the Clippers' main offensive weapons right now, and even though his numbers will eventually regress, he's making a big impact as a two-way threat for Los Angeles.
Oct 26, 2024
Huge double-double Saturday
Zubac recorded 24 points (11-17 FG, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists and a block across 39 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac made history with his excellent performance Saturday, as he's scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career. The big man is enjoying a bigger role on offense with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined, and until Leonard is ready to handle his regular workload upon his return, Zubac could continue to operate as the Clippers' third-best offensive weapon behind James Harden and Norman Powell. This should translate into a substantial uptick in his fantasy appeal, as Zubac hasn't averaged more than 11.7 points per game in any of his previous eight seasons in The Association.
Oct 24, 2024
Solid under basket in OT loss
Zubac totaled 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 116-113 overtime loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was one rebound short of a double-double in the opener, and he's beginning the season without any serious competition at the five. Kai Jones was signed to a two-way contract but is bound to spend a lot of time with the flagship due to a lack of big men on the roster. Zubac will probably average a larger load than he is accustomed to this season. The ninth-year vet has always had someone to platoon with, so the team needs to manage his minutes carefully to avoid injury and fatigue.
Oct 15, 2024
Double-doubles in preseason win
Zubac finished with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-2FT), 12 rebounds, four steals and one assist in 24 minutes during Monday's 110-96 preseason win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was his usual self in the win, notching a double-double in limited minutes. With very little competition for playing time this season, Zubac could be in for a career-high workload, which could result in his best fantasy season to date. Although his upside is limited due to his limited offensive game and serviceable defensive production, Zubac makes for a very solid center target in the eighth or ninth rounds of drafts.
Aug 30, 2024
Inks extension
Zubac and the Clippers have come to terms on a three-year, $58.6 million contract extension, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been with the Clippers since being dealt there from the Lakers in 2018. He averaged a career-high 11.7 points last season, to go along with 9.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 blocks across 26.4 minutes. The big man again projects to start at center in Los Angeles, and figures to see a similar workload with his new deal.
May 4, 2024
Double-doubles in playoff exit
Zubac produced 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-8 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in 37 minutes during Friday's 114-101 loss to the Mavericks in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers needed someone to step up with Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined in Game 6, and Ivica Zubac did what he could on both ends of the court. He finished the series with three double-doubles in six outings and scored in double digits each time while shooting a robust 60 percent from the field. Zubac isn't flashy and is not one of the most athletic big men in the league, but he gets the job done. He also averaged 11.7 points and 9.2 boards per contest during the regular season.

Flirts with double-double
Zubac chipped in 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac turned in a strong effort Friday, flirting with a double-double. He added a pair of defensive stats for good measure, delivering his best performance of the postseason. Now trailing 1-2 in the series, the Clippers are going to need Zubac to be more consistent moving forward, something he has struggled with this season.
Apr 21, 2024
Owns glass in double-double showing
Zubac logged 20 points (10-17 FG, 0-1 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 33 minutes during Sunday's 109-97 victory over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led all players in Sunday's Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs in rebounds while ending as one of three Clippers with 20 or more points in a double-double showcase. Zubac posted four games during the regular season with 15 or more rebounds, adding 20 or more points in one of those outings. Los Angeles will look for Zubac to continue to own the battle in the paint this series while also providing a much-needed spark offensively in a favorable matchup against Dallas.
Apr 14, 2024
Healthy but not starting
Zubac is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Houston.
ANALYSIS
Precedent indicates that Zubac is in line to log his second DNP-CD across the Clippers' past three contests, as the team is locked into the fourth seed in the Western Conference. Zubac is officially active, but Mason Plumlee will start.
Apr 11, 2024
DNP-CD on Wednesday
Zubac didn't play in Wednesday's 124-108 loss to the Suns on Wednesday after being listed as available for the contest.
ANALYSIS
Shortly before tipoff, the Clippers were officially locked into the fourth seed in the NBA Playoffs. With most of their starting lineup out with injury, Zubac also got the night off after dealing with left ankle inflammation heading into Wednesday's contest. Instead, Mason Plumlee and Daniel Theis handled the majority of the center work. The Clippers have two games left in the regular season -- the first of which comes Friday against the Jazz -- but if Zubac's ankle continues to bug him, the team could shut him down until the playoffs.
Apr 10, 2024
Not on court pregame
Zubac is not on the court during pre-game introductions for Wednesday's game against Phoenix, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was deemed available for the contest after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. However, after not being listed in the starting lineup, Zubac isn't on the court during pre-game activities and could end up being inactive Wednesday although nothing's been made official quite yet.
Apr 10, 2024
Coming off bench
Zubac will not start Wednesday's game against the Suns, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was dealing with inflammation in his left ankle ahead of Wednesday's game and will likely have his minutes monitored. He will be replaced by Mason Plumlee in the first unit.
Apr 10, 2024
Set to play against Phoenix
Zubac (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been upgraded from questionable to available Wednesday despite dealing with left ankle inflammation. The 26-year-old big man has shown to be one of the most efficient players in the league, shooting 64.7 percent from the field this season.
Apr 10, 2024
Questionable for Wednesday
Zubac is questionable for Wednesday's game against Phoenix due to left ankle inflammation, Shane Young of Forbes.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has posted double-doubles in six consecutive appearances, averaging 15.2 points and 12.0 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game. He hasn't missed a game since the beginning of March, but it's unclear whether he'll be available in the second half of a back-to-back set. If he sits out, Daniel Theis, Mason Plumlee and P.J. Tucker could see additional minutes.
Apr 6, 2024
Posts double-double in 24 minutes
Zubac supplied 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal in 24 minutes during Friday's 131-102 victory over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Zubac sat for the entire fourth quarter, but he still managed to break the double-double barrier before giving way to Daniel Theis. Zubac was one of eight players to score in double figures, and one should expect the big man to log a full game Sunday against a dominant Cleveland frontcourt.
Apr 5, 2024
Records 14/15 double-double
Zubac provided 14 points (4-11 FG, 6-6 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 35 minutes during Thursday's 102-100 victory over Denver.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had success off the glass despite Nikola Jokic's dominant presence in the paint. The center went toe-to-toe with Jokic in the fourth quarter with answers for every Jokic-led rally, scoring eight of his 14 points in the final stanza. Zubac logged his third consecutive double-double in the victory.
Apr 1, 2024
Hits season-high scoring mark
Zubac logged 24 points (7-8 FG, 10-10 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 33 minutes during Sunday's 130-118 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was nearly perfect from the field Sunday, missing just one shot from the field en route to delivering a season-high scoring mark. As if that was not enough, the big man also delivered just his second double-double since the beginning of March. Even though he's not been the most consistent producer in recent weeks, Zubac remains a steady source for points, rebounds and blocks. He's averaging 11.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest over his last 10 outings.
Mar 30, 2024
Comes close to double-double
Zubac closed with 14 points (7-10 FG), nine rebounds, two assists and one block over 35 minutes during Friday's 100-97 win over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finished just one rebound shy of recording a double-double, and even though his two-way ability is well known, he's achieved that feat just once during the current month. Zubac is averaging 9.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game in March.
Mar 25, 2024
Active at both ends Sunday
Zubac chipped in 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and four blocks in 29 minutes during Sunday's 121-107 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded his first double-double since Feb. 23, but the big man had been close to achieving that feat in his previous appearances. A solid two-way contributor who can produce value despite holding a lesser role in the Clippers' offensive scheme, Zubac is averaging 9.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest since the beginning of March.
Mar 21, 2024
Emerges with near double-double
Zubac posted 14 points (7-9 FG), nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and four steals in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 116-103 victory over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Zubac came into the contest in an offensive rut, having failed to notch double-digit points in each of his past three games. The big man was averaging just 2.3 field-goal attempts over 29.0 minutes during that span, so the issue was more a matter of shot volume than efficiency. Zubac has never been a big scorer, but he went through a period of posting double-digit points 13 times in a 15-game span earlier in the campaign, so he's certainly capable of contributing in that regard. His 14 points Wednesday was his third-highest total over 10 contests since returning from a two-game absence March 3.
Mar 10, 2024
Efficient 18 points Sunday
Zubac amassed 18 points (9-11 FG), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's 124-117 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was the second-leading scorer for the Clippers on Sunday with both Kawhi Leonard (groin) and Paul George (knee) sidelined. Zubac entered Sunday's game with the third-highest field-goal percentage in the NBA at 65.1 percent behind Daniel Gafford and Jakob Poeltl. Despite not being a main option on the Clippers' offense, Zubac is averaging a career-high 11.7 points per game to go along with 9.2 rebounds this season.
Mar 8, 2024
Not on injury report
Zubac (illness) is absent from the Clippers' injury report ahead of Saturday's tilt against the Bulls, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was unable to play in the second half of Wednesday's 122-116 win over the Rockets due to an illness, but it appears he is feeling better heading into Saturday's game. Barring any setbacks, look for the big man to take on his usual role at center for the Clippers.
Mar 6, 2024
Misses second half
Zubac was feeling under the weather and didn't play in the second half of Wednesday's 122-116 win over the Rockets, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. He finished with three points 1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 15 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was replaced by Mason Plumlee to start the second half after dealing with headaches and trouble breathing during early portions of the game. The big man has been battling an illness over the last week and it appears he isn't completely recovered. Zubac will have two days to recover before the Clippers take on the Bulls at home.
Mar 3, 2024
Good to go Sunday
Zubac (illness) is active for Sunday's game against Minnesota, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is set to return from a two-game absence due to illness. He has been sharp across his last four appearances, averaging 13.0 points and 9.5 rebounds on 65.7 percent shooting -- marking a continuation of his career-best 65.5 percent shooting on this season.
Mar 2, 2024
Officially listed as questionable
Zubac (illness) is listed as questionable to face the Timberwolves on Sunday, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was seen traveling with the rest of the Clippers for this upcoming three-game road trip, so that's certainly a step in the right direction after he missed the previous two contests. If deemed available to play Sunday, he should enter the starting lineup right away in order to battle in the paint with Minnesota's twin towers, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert.
Mar 2, 2024
Travelling for road trip
Zubac (illness) is traveling with the Clippers for their upcoming three-game road trip starting Sunday at Minnesota, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac missed the Clippers' last two games, the loss against the Lakers and a blowout win over the Wizards, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. Right now, he should be considered questionable to face Minnesota on Sunday until the team delivers an official update.
Mar 1, 2024
Will not play Friday
Zubac (illness) will not play in Friday's game against the Wizards, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will miss his second straight game Friday, but he told reporters that he's improving which bodes well for his status ahead of Sunday's game against Minnesota. Daniel Theis and Mason Plumlee will likely be asked to step up in Zubac's absence Friday.
Feb 29, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Zubac (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Zubac sat out Wednesday's game due to an illness, which resulted in Daniel Theis drawing the start with Mason Plumlee and P.J. Tucker becoming more involved in the rotation. It'll be more of the same if he's out again Friday, but we'll have a better idea on his status following shootaround.
Feb 28, 2024
Won't play Wednesday
Zubac (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Lakers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been downgraded from questionable to out Wednesday due to a non-COVID illness. Daniel Theis will start in his absence. Zubac's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Washington.
Feb 28, 2024
Added to injury report
Zubac is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers due to an illness, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac wasn't on the Clippers' initial injury report, but it's unclear whether he'll be able to suit up against the Lakers. He's been productive recently, averaging 11.6 points and 9.8 rebounds in 28.0 minutes per game over his last five appearances, and his potential absence would be a blow for a team that will already be without Paul George (knee) on Wednesday.
Feb 23, 2024
Records double-double in loss
Zubac totaled 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one block across 29 minutes during Thursday's 129-107 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led all players in rebounding in the contest, finishing with his second straight double-double and his third straight game with double-digit boards. The big man's 29 minutes of court time were notable, as that marked his highest total since he returned from a nine-game injury absence Feb. 4. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said earlier Thursday that Zubac will no longer be on a minutes restriction, so his fantasy managers can look forward to him being a reliable source of rebounds, with enough points and swats mixed in to make him a must-roster asset, moving forward.
Feb 22, 2024
No longer on minutes restriction
Coach Tyronn Lue said before Thursday's game against Oklahoma City that Zubac is no longer on a minutes restriction, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac returned from a lengthy absence due to a calf injury shortly before the All-Star break and was on a minutes restriction before the layoff. However, after having some time to rest, he'll be able to handle a full workload as the Clippers prepare to resume play.
Feb 10, 2024
Remaining on minutes restriction
Coach Tyronn Lue said Zubac will still be on a minutes restriction for Saturday's game versus the Pistons and next week against Minnesota and Golden State, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has played just 18 and 21 minutes, respectively, in his last two games since missing a lengthy period due to a calf injury. However, the 26-year-old big man should continue to ramp up his playing time over the next week.
Feb 6, 2024
Set to play against New Orleans
Zubac (calf) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Pelicans, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will return to action Wednesday after missing the Clippers' previous contest with a right calf strain. The 26-year-old big man should reclaim his starting spot from Mason Plumlee against New Orleans.
Feb 5, 2024
Won't play Monday
Zubac (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hawks, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac returned to action Sunday following a nine-game absence and posted four points and three rebounds in 18 minutes during a win over Miami. He'll take a seat for the second half of a back-to-back set, but his absence is likely just precautionary. Mason Plumlee should start at center in Zubac's absence, while Daniel Theis will be a candidate for increased playing time off the bench.
Feb 5, 2024
Iffy for Monday
Zubac is questionable for Monday's game against Atlanta due to a right calf strain, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac returned to action Sunday following a nine-game absence due to a right calf strain and posted four points and three rebounds in 18 minutes during a win over Miami. His presence on the injury report Monday is likely just precautionary, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the big man take a seat for the second half of a back-to-back set.
Feb 4, 2024
Back in action Sunday
Zubac (calf) is active and will start Sunday's game against Miami, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's initial recovery timeline called for him to be re-evaluated in mid-February, but the big man will return to action threes weeks removed from being diagnosed with a serious right calf strain. Although he is in the starting lineup, it's unclear if he will face any type of minutes restriction Sunday. Zubac is averaging 12.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 27.1 minutes per game this season, and his return will send Mason Plumlee to a bench role.
Feb 3, 2024
Upgraded to questionable
Zubac (ankle) is considered questionable for Sunday's game versus Miami, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers slapped a four-week timetable on Zubac back on Jan. 16, but their starting center appears to be way ahead of schedule. Mason Plumlee has been holding down the fort at center in Zubac's absence with Daniel Theis soaking up the backup minutes. If Zubac does get the green light to return, he'll likely have restrictions early on.
Jan 16, 2024
Sidelined at least four weeks
The Clippers announced Tuesday that Zubac has been diagnosed with a right calf strain and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has already been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Thunder and is now set to miss an extended period due to a right calf strain. Daniel Theis and Mason Plumlee will likely receive extended minutes in his absence. Zubac will likely aim to return to action in mid-February.
Jan 15, 2024
Out vs. Thunder
Zubac (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Oklahoma City, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is in line to miss his second consecutive game due to a right calf issue. Daniel Theis figures to draw another start at center in Zubac's absence.
Jan 14, 2024
Considered day-to-day
Zubac is considered day-to-day due to right calf tightness, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a late scratch ahead of Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, and is now considered day-to-day. He is considered doubtful at best for Tuesday's game against the Thunder. If he is unable to go, Daniel Theis and Mason Plumlee will likely see extended minutes.
Jan 14, 2024
Late scratch Sunday
Zubac is out for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves due to right calf tightness, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was originally listed in the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game despite being a late addition to the injury report, but he ultimately will be sidelined for the first time this season. Daniel Theis will get the start in place of Zubac and Mason Plumlee should see an increase in minutes backing him up.
Jan 14, 2024
Starting despite questionable tag
Zubac, who was a late addition to the Clippers' injury report due to right calf tightness, is starting Sunday against the Timberwolves, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was deemed questionable for Sunday's matchup less than an hour before tipoff, but he'll still be part of the starting lineup against Minnesota. Whether he'll face any restrictions remains to be seen, but he's averaged 14.8 points and 11.4 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game over his last five appearances.
Jan 8, 2024
Leads team with double-double
Zubac supplied 22 points (9-13 FG, 4-4 FT), 19 rebounds, one assist and one block across 37 minutes during Sunday's 106-103 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had an excellent game in the paint despite tough opposition from Anthony Davis, and he bested his rival by nine rebounds in the loss. Thanks to contributions from Zubac and others, the Clippers looked solid defensively but couldn't get much going on offense. Zubac and Paul George were the only players to score more than 20 points in the defeat.
Dec 30, 2023
Dominates with 20 rebounds
Zubac produced 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 FT), 20 rebounds, one assist and one block over 33 minutes during Friday's 117-106 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is playing at an extremely high level and is on pace to beat career highs in every major category. He's improved the most as a scorer, averaging 12.3 points per game while converting 63.5 percent of his shots. His 20 boards marked his highest rebound total since last November, when he corralled a whopping 29 rebounds against the Pacers.
Dec 27, 2023
18/14 double-double in win
Zubac totaled 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-8 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 113-104 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers' starting lineup finally did enough to make up for Kawhi Leonard's (hip) absence, and Zubac enjoyed one of his best stat lines of the season in the win. Zubac's fantasy relevancy is boosted by the fact that the team doesn't have many options for replacement big men, as players like Daniel Theis and P.J. Tucker have struggled in relief.
Dec 23, 2023
Double-double against Boston
Zubac closed with 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one block across 27 minutes during Saturday's 145-108 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The double-double was his ninth of the season in 29 games, but seven of them have come in the last 15 contests. Zubac is averaging 13.7 points, 9.9 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks over that stretch, and he isn't expected to get competition for minutes again from Mason Plumlee (knee) until some time in January.
Dec 18, 2023
Strong double-double in win
Zubac produced 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-5 FT), 16 rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 26 minutes during Monday's 151-127 victory over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Zubac made the most of a favorable matchup, grabbing a season-high 16 rebounds in his eighth double-double of the season. Although he rarely sets the world on fire with his production, Zubac has been a top 100 player over the past month. He typically provides rebounds and efficiency, although his block numbers have been a pleasant surprise.
Dec 9, 2023
Records double-double in win
Zubac posted 18 points (9-15 FG), 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 42 minutes during Friday's 117-103 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Zubac posted solid numbers after missing the double-double milestone in his last two performances, and he logged his highest minute total of the season in the victory. Zubac rarely plays more then 30 minutes, but with Daniel Theis (illness) and Mason Plumlee (knee) sidelined, the big man was forced to register more time on the court.
Dec 1, 2023
Strong double-double not enough
Zubac produced 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds and one block across 27 minutes during Thursday's 120-114 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac appears to be finding his niche with the new-look Clippers, as the big man has recorded three double-doubles over his last four games. During that stretch, he has averaged 16.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks in 28.0 minutes.
Nov 30, 2023
Active at both ends Wednesday
Zubac racked up 14 points (7-12 FG), eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 131-117 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finished with a solid stat line and came quite close to posting what would've been his third straight double-double. The big man is making the most of his touches near the rim in an offense led by several dominant ball handlers such as James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, and he remains valuable in all formats, both due to his starting role but also due to his two-way contributions. He's averaging 14.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game over his last five outings.
Nov 28, 2023
Dominates with 23 points
Zubac closed Monday's 113-104 loss to the Nuggets with 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-8 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and one block over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Nikola Jokic (back) took the night off for Denver, so Zubac went to battle with DeAndre Jordan. His 23 points mark a new season high, while his 14 rebounds matched his season best. Zubac is posting similar numbers to his 2022-23 season in terms of counting stats, but he's on pace to shoot a career-low 60.4 percent from the free throw line.
Nov 26, 2023
Third double-double of season
Zubac posted 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-5 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Saturday's 107-88 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded a double-double for the first time since Nov. 8, and this 14-rebound haul was his best mark of the campaign. Zubac has a secondary role on a star-studded offensive surrounded by players such as Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden, but he can get the job done as a rim protector and finisher. Zubac is averaging 9.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in November.
Nov 23, 2023
Flirts with double-double
Zubac registered 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 109-102 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac flirts with a double-double most nights despite handling a secondary offensive role. He's averaging similar numbers in most categories compared to last season, but he has seen an uptick in blocks this year, posting a career-high 1.5 per game.
Nov 15, 2023
Grabs 13 rebounds in loss
Zubac accumulated nine points (2-8 FG, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 111-108 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Opposing centers should never expect much when they line up opposite Nikola Jokic, but Zubac was able to collect his share of boards. Zubac's single-digit scoring total isn't out of the ordinary, as he's failed to reach double-digits six times over 10 games. The scoring deficiency inhibits his ability to record double-doubles, which is worth a fantasy bonus in some formats.
Nov 11, 2023
Comes close to double-double
Zubac registered 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 22 minutes during Friday's 144-126 loss to Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac ended just two rebounds away from posting a double-double. While he'll never be tasked with carrying the offense, especially considering all the players surrounding him, he is a good finisher near the rim and provides value as a potential double-double threat every night. Zubac has two double-doubles on the season and has already scored in double digits four times.
Nov 7, 2023
Strong defensive effort
Zubac finished Monday's 111-97 loss to the Knicks with eight points (3-3 FG, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played a season-high 30 minutes, but his production remained similar to previous games. He's not known as a shot blocker, but Zubac has swatted at least one shot in five of six appearances, multiple shots three times and is averaging a career-best 1.8 per game. If Zubac can maintain that level of production all season, he'll certainly outperform his ADP, given he has a solid floor as a consistent double-double threat.
Oct 31, 2023
Good to go against Orlando
Zubac (quadriceps) is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Magic, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been upgraded from questionable to probable Tuesday despite dealing with a quad injury. The 26-year-old big man has averaged 14.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 22.7 minutes across his first three appearances this season.
Oct 30, 2023
Questionable for Tuesday
Zubac (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Magic, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was held out of Monday's practice, but he's being considered a game-time call for Tuesday's contest. The team will likely re-evaluate the center during morning shootaround to determine his availability for Tuesday evening.
Oct 30, 2023
Not practicing Monday
Zubac won't participate in Monday's practice session due to a quad injury, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had a solid performance Sunday against the Spurs with 16 points, eight rebounds and a block in 22 minutes, but he's apparently dealing with a quad issue afterward. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up for Tuesday's game against Orlando, but Mason Plumlee and Robert Covington would be candidates for increased run if Zubac is sidelined.
Oct 26, 2023
Double-double in season debut
Zubac amassed 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds and four blocks across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 123-111 victory over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had an excellent showing and was effective in containing Deandre Ayton during the contest. Zubac's performance was especially good considering he saw only 26 minutes on the floor, which will be his usual allotment. Mason Plumlee is a productive backup at the five, and the Clippers tend to play small ball and run three-forward sets, both of which curb Zubac's usage.
Oct 18, 2023
Grabs eight rebounds in victory
Zubac recorded 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-3 FT), eight rebounds and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 116-103 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's path to a starting role is clear this season, as there isn't much competition on the roster beyond Mason Plumlee. The Clippers will occasionally plug in backups like Nicolas Batum and Marcus Morris against certain opponents, so Zubac's output will be capped often. Despite his starting role, Zabac is not in the highest echelon of NBA centers but can be a serviceable backup if he's available late in drafts.
Oct 16, 2023
Cleared to play
Zubac (back) has been cleared for Tuesday's preseason contest against Denver, Joey Linn of Sports Illustrated reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac suffered from back spasms during a game on Oct. 10 and has been limited in practice for most of the week. But it sounds like he's in the clear and will get a difficult test against Nikola Jokic.
Oct 13, 2023
Limited again Friday
Zubac (back) was a limited participant in Friday's practice session, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will be able to participate in pre-practice workouts as he continues to recover from a back injury, but he won't be able to take part in the full practice session. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's preseason game against the Nuggets, but the Clippers seem to be bringing him along slowly in his recovery process.
Oct 12, 2023
Participates in some drills
Zubac (back) participated in some drills during Thursday's practice session, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A previous report indicated that Zubac wouldn't participate in practice, but coach Tyronn Lue clarified that the center still participated in some drills. Although he wasn't a full participant in practice, Zubac appears to be progressing well in his recovery. It's unclear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's preseason game against the Nuggets.
Oct 12, 2023
Won't practice Thursday
Zubac (back) won't participate in Thursday's practice, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Oct 10, 2023
Out for remainder of game
Zubac won't return to Tuesday's preseason game versus the Jazz due to back spasms, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will finish Tuesday's contest with four points, one rebound and one block in five minutes before exiting early. His next chance to suit up is next Tuesday's preseason matchup with Denver.
Apr 16, 2023
Records double-double in victory
Zubac accumulated 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 FT) and 15 rebounds across 30 minutes during Sunday's 115-110 victory over the Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Zubac platooned with Mason Plumlee for most of the game, but he ultimately bested his teammate with more points and rebounds. Zubac got roughed up a couple of times as he reached for second-chance points, as Deandre Ayton didn't surrender much ground in the paint. Despite the Suns' defensive mettle, he was the most productive player in the contest at the five position.
Apr 8, 2023
Another double-double
Zubac closed with 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block over 23 minutes during Saturday's 136-125 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been one of the best two-way big men in the Western Conference and has emerged as a reliable double-double threat every time he steps on the court. The big man has three double-doubles over his last four contests and has notched that feat six times across 15 games since the beginning of March.
Apr 6, 2023
Hangs double-double on former team
Zubac finished Wednesday's 125-118 victory over the Lakers with 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's days as a Laker are long behind him, but he showed up with a little extra against his former team. The big man led all players with 13 boards in the Clippers' win Wednesday, and he added 17 points to finish with his second double-double over his past three games. Zubac has scored in double digits in six straight contests, his longest such streak this season.
Apr 1, 2023
Impressive double-double
Zubac amassed 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 FT), 15 rebounds, one block and two steals across 26 minutes during Friday's 108-94 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was outstanding on both ends of the court, and there's an argument to say he was Los Angeles' best player in a game where the Clippers looked completely overmatched. Zubac has thrived in his second straight season as a full-time starter and is having a career-best season with averages of 10.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Plus, he averaged 12.3 points and 9.3 boards per contest across 12 March outings.
Mar 20, 2023

Mar 16, 2023
Strong double-double in win
Zubac finished Wednesday's 134-126 victory over the Warriors with 19 points (6-8 FG, 7-8 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and one block in 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac took advantage of Golden State's frontcourt and posted his most points since Feb. 6 and his most rebounds since Jan. 20 en route to his 22nd double-double of the season. The veteran big man has been struggling since missing four of five contests due to injuries, so it's encouraging to see him back to form heading into the stretch run.
Mar 9, 2023
Returns to form
Zubac accumulated 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 108-100 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finally looked himself after battling through a calf injury at the end of February and into March. He was incredibly efficient from the field and also swatted away a pair of shots, notching three straight games with two blocks. Wednesday's output marked Zubac's best scoring performance since Feb. 6 when he dropped 19 points on Brooklyn.
Mar 5, 2023
Available with minutes limit
Zubac (calf) is available for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies but will have a minutes restriction, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac missed four of the last five games due to a sore right calf, but he'll suit up against Memphis. It's not yet clear how much his playing time will be restricted, but he posted 12 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes Tuesday against Minnesota in his return from a two-game absence.
Mar 4, 2023
Questionable vs. Grizzlies
Zubac (calf) is questionable for Sunday's action against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed four of the past five games due to right calf soreness. If he needs another rest, Mason Plumlee should start again.
Mar 3, 2023
Ruled out Friday
Zubac (back) will not play against the Kings on Friday according to Law Murray of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
This will be the third game that Zubas has missed out of the past four for Los Angeles. He was carrying a questionable tag prior to this which likely means he's day-to-day. With Zubac out, Mason Plumlee will likely draw the start at center and could see a nice bump in fantasy value.
Mar 3, 2023
Questionable vs. Kings
Zubac (calf) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Kings, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed three of the past four games due to a right calf injury. If he sits out again, Mason Plumlee should draw another start.
Mar 2, 2023
Out Thursday
Zubac (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the Warriors, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was forced to miss the Clippers' first two games after the NBA's All-Star break as he dealt with a calf injury. The center is still dealing with the injury, forcing him to miss Friday's contest. Expect Mason Plumlee to see extended minutes against the Warriors.
Mar 2, 2023
Questionable Thursday
Zubac (calf) is questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played well in his return from a two-game absence Tuesday, posting 12 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist. However, his calf injury has flared up, and he may sit out Thursday. If that's the case, Mason Plumlee will presumably start.
Mar 1, 2023
Flirts with double-double in return
Zubac finished Tuesday's 108-101 loss to the Timberwolves with 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac returned to the starting lineup after missing two games with a calf injury. Mason Plumlee and Marcus Morris performed admirably in his absence, and as one might expect, Zubac's return had a devastating affect on the value of both players. It's possible that the team may rest Zubac during the upcoming back-to-back, and it's a development worth monitoring if you have Morris or Plumlee on your roster.
Feb 28, 2023
Starting against Minnesota
Zubac (calf) is in the starting lineup Tuesday against Minnesota, Andrew Greif of The Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac missed the past two games for the Clippers but will likely see his usual workload Tuesday against Rudy Gobert. Mason Plumlee is expected to shift back to the bench and we'll likely see less of Marcus Morris as well.
Feb 28, 2023
Suits up for shootaround
Zubac, who's questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Timberwolves with a calf a right calf strain, was present and in uniform for team's morning shootaround, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed back-to-back games due to the injury, but he appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Tuesday's matchup. If he's cleared, Mason Plumlee will presumably return to a reserve role.
Feb 27, 2023
Handed questionable tag
Zubac (calf) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed his team's last two contests due to a right calf strain, but he's trending in the right direction. The Clippers should have a better idea of his availability following morning shootaround.
Feb 25, 2023
Out Sunday
Zubac (calf) will not play Sunday at Denver, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
A right calf strain will keep the starting center out for a second straight game, which will presumably keep Mason Plumlee in the starting five. Zubac's next chance to play arrives Tuesday against the Timberwolves.
Feb 23, 2023
Will not play Friday
Zubac will miss Friday's game against the Kings due to a strained right calf, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will be sidelined for the first time since Dec. 17 with the calf issue, which should open up an opportunity for Mason Plumlee to step into the starting lineup. In his last five games, Zubac averaged 11.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks across 30.1 minutes. His next chance to suit up will come Sunday in Denver.
Feb 17, 2023
Delivers double-double in win
Zubac produced 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 116-107 victory over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac recorded his first double-double in more than a week, a welcome sight for managers. Despite the arrival of Mason Plumlee, Zubac has been able to maintain a 30-minute role, keeping him firmly in the standard league discussion. He sits just outside the top 100 for the season and while there will be some ups and downs moving forward, he should be able to maintain similar value ROS.
Feb 6, 2023
Top rebounder in double-double
Zubac finished Monday's 124-116 win over the Nets with 19 points (6-9 FG, 7-10 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals in 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led all Clippers in rebounding while finishing as one of six players in double figures in scoring in a double-double performance. Zubac has notched at least 15 points and 10 rebounds in nine games this year.
Feb 3, 2023
Posts second straight double-double
Zubac supplied 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one block over 29 minutes before fouling out of Thursday's 106-105 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had only two field goal attempts in the first half and scored 10 of his 12 points over the final two quarters on 3-of-5 shooting. The center also collected eight of his team-high 13 rebounds in the second half, four of which came on the offensive end as the Clippers failed to pull out a tough road win. Zubac has now recorded a double-double in back-to-back games, though also fouled out Thursday for the third time this season.
Jan 29, 2023
Delivers 18 points in victory
Zubac amassed 18 points (6-9 FG, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes during Saturday's 120-113 victory over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finally broke out of an offensive slump Saturday, scoring 18 points, the most he has scored since late December. After a red-hot start to the season, things have slowed over the past month. During that span, he is barely inside the top 140, putting up averages of 10.4 points and 8.4 rebounds. He remains a must-roster player, although his limited offerings do mean he isn't going to appeal to everyone.
Jan 21, 2023
Records double-double Friday
Zubac registered 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 FT), 16 rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Friday's 131-126 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has posted double-doubles in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season, and the big man continues to make an impact on both ends of the court for the Clippers. He's averaging 10.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per contest in January.
Jan 19, 2023
Double double in limited action
Zubac totaled 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 126-103 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played through a left knee contusion Wednseday night, but still managed to put up a strong performance. His 13 field goal attempts mark his second highest mark of the season, despite only playing 26 minutes. Zubac should see an increased role on offense in the absence of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, assuming he can suit up.
Jan 18, 2023
Active Wednesday
Zubac (knee) will play in Wednesday's matchup with the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was handed a questionable designation ahead of Wednesday's contest due to a left knee contusion but will be able to suit up. Over his last 10 appearances, Zubac has averaged 9.9 points and 7.8 rebounds across 27.4 minutes and should handle more offensive duties with Paul George (hamstring) and Kawhi Leonard (injury management) sidelined.
Jan 18, 2023
Questionable Wednesday
Zubac is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to a left knee contusion, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been productive over his last five appearances, averaging 10.6 points and 9.2 rebounds in 29.4 minutes per game. However, it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for the second half of a back-to-back set Wednesday. If he's sidelined, Nicolas Batum and Robert Covington will likely see expanded roles.
Jan 9, 2023
Delivers monster double-double
Zubac produced 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-6 FT), 18 rebounds, three assists and one block in 38 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had no problem winning the game in the paint, as he contained Onyeka Okongwu while registering a solid offensive showing. Sunday's effort ended a four-game skid that began on New Year's Eve against the Pacers. Zubac only recorded 21 rebounds during that span, which is well below his usual average. Prior to that stretch, he had a three-game double-double streak.
Dec 30, 2022
Another double-double
Zubac finished with 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Thursday's 116-110 loss to Boston.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in four games in a row and has also recorded three straight double-doubles, so he's been producing well in a position that hasn't been particularly productive in fantasy this season. The big man is averaging 9.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game in December.
Dec 28, 2022
Pulls down 16 boards
Zubac amassed 23 points (7-13 FG, 9-12 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been feasting on the glass of late and has pulled down double-digit rebounds in three straight contests, but he's also delivering solid scoring numbers with two double-doubles in that span. That said, he also went through a five-game stretch in which he ended with single-digit points and rebounds each time. The lack of consistency has been an issue for him, but given the lack of depth around the league in the center position, Zubac remains a solid option on a game-to-game basis. He's averaging 9.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game in December.
Dec 27, 2022
Grabs double-double in win
Zubac logged 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 142-131 overtime win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Zubac got off to a slow start offensively, scoring just two points on 1-of-2 shooting in the first half to go along with seven rebounds. He made all three of his field goal attempts in the second half for another 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds between the second half and overtime to give him a game-high 15 boards on the night. Zubac recorded just his third double-double in the month of December while playing a season-high 41 minutes in the contest.
Dec 22, 2022
Logs 23 minutes in victory
Zubac supplied four points (2-3 FG), eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 126-105 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac returned to the starting lineup Wednesday, returning to action after missing two straight games due to a knee injury. After a red-hot start to the season, Zubac has seen his role diminish over the past couple of weeks. With both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George healthy, the Clippers are opting to run a smaller lineup at times with Nicolas Batum playing the center position. While Zubac remains a 12-team asset, it is unlikely he will be able to replicate what he was doing earlier in the season.
Dec 21, 2022
Active Wednesday
Zubac (knee) is active Wednesday against Charlotte, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the last two contests with a left knee bruise, Zubac will return to the court and presumably resume his starting role. The center is averaging 10.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per outing this year.
Dec 20, 2022
Questionable Wednesday
Zubac (knee) is questionable to play in Wednesday's game versus the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed the previous two games due to a left knee contusion. Moussa Amir Coffey and Moses Brown will likely receive extended minutes if he's unable to return. Zubac's next opportunity to play will be Friday's game against Philadelphia if he's ruled out Wednesday.
Dec 20, 2022
Joining practice Tuesday
Zubac (knee) is slated to practice with the team in a 5-on-5 contact session Tuesday, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has skipped the last pair of games while contending with a knee contusion, but it appears he's in better shape as Wednesday's tilt approaches. The team should release an official injury report later in the day, which should provide more clarity on Zubac's chances of retaking the floor Wednesday versus the Hornets.
Dec 16, 2022
Out again Saturday
Zubac (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup against the Wizards, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will miss a second straight game due to a left knee contusion. Moses Brown started in Zubac's place during Thursday's loss to the Suns, but Robert Covington and Nicolas Batum are also candidates for increased playing time at center.
Dec 15, 2022
Ruled out Thursday
Zubac (knee) will sit out Thursday's contest against the Suns, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was diagnosed with a left knee contusion that will cause him to miss his first contest of the season and tabs him as day-to-day. In his absence, Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum and Moses Brown will share his vacated minutes at the five. Zubac's next chance to take the floor will come on Saturday against the Wizards.
Dec 15, 2022
Questionable vs. Suns
Zubac (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Left knee discomfort forced Zubac to leave Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves early, and he may be forced to miss his first game of the season Thursday. If that's the case, more minutes could be in store for Robert Covington, Moses Brown and Nicolas Batum.
Dec 15, 2022
Won't return Wednesday
Zubac won't return to Wednesday's contest against Minnesota due to left knee discomfort, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The center's outing is done after suffering the injury sometime during the first half. Zubac posted two points (1-4 FG) and grabbed seven rebounds in 17 minutes before exiting early. Looking ahead, Zubac will presumably be tabbed questionable for the Clippers' next contest Thursday against Phoenix.
Dec 12, 2022
Active and starting Monday
Zubac (groin) is in the starting lineup Monday against Boston, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite nursing groin soreness, Zubac will resume his normal stating duty. The center has averaged 10.6 points and 11.1 rebounds across 28 previous starts.
Dec 12, 2022
Game-time decision Monday
Zubac (groin) is a game-time decision for Monday's contest against the Celtics, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old center is at risk of missing his first contest of the season Monday. If Zubac ultimately can't suit up, the center's next chance to return comes Wednesday against the Timberwolves.
Dec 12, 2022
Questionable Monday
Zubac is questionable for Monday's game against Boston due to groin soreness, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a late addition to Monday's injury report and is in danger of missing his first game of the season. Robert Covington and Moses Brown would be candidates to see increased playing time if Zubac is sidelined, while Moussa Diabite was recalled from the G League club Monday.
Dec 7, 2022
Posts another double-double
Zubac ended with 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-8 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 37 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 116-111 overtime loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was the only Clippers player to reach double figures in rebounds, posting his sixth double-double over the last 10 games. Zubac has scored at least 15 points along with 10 or more rebounds five times this year.
Dec 4, 2022
Secures 15 boards
Zubac posted 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 27 minutes during Saturday's 123-96 loss to Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Zubac enjoyed another big night on the glass, recording 10 of his 15 rebounds on the defensive end. He also collected another double-double, marking his third in four contests. Zubac is averaging 10.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 blocks over 24 games this season.
Nov 30, 2022
Another double-double
Zubac provided 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one block and two steals over 28 minutes during Tuesday's 118-112 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was coming off a career-best performance with 31 points and 29 rebounds against the Pacers on Nov. 27, and even though he couldn't repeat those numbers here while battling with Jusuf Nurkic down low, at least he recorded a second straight double-double -- marking it just the second time he accomplishes that feat on back-to-back contests in the current season. Zubac has enjoyed a bigger role on offense due to the persistent injury issues of both Kawhi Leonard (ankle) and Paul George (hamstring), and he's averaging 14.2 points with 13.8 rebounds per contest over his last five outings.
Nov 27, 2022
Unreal rebounding night
Zubac ended with 31 points (14-17 FG, 3-3 FT), 29 rebounds, three assists and three blocks across 36 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 114-100 win over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Zubac secured an eye-popping 29 rebounds in this one, setting the new top mark in a game this season. He registered his fourth double-double of November by dominating on the offensive end, securing 12 offensive boards and scoring all but six of his points from inside the restricted area. Despite this massive performance, the center has scored in double figures in just two of his last eight contests including Sunday's matchup.
Nov 18, 2022
Dominates glass in win
Zubac contributed nine points (3-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 18 rebounds and one assist over 40 minutes during Thursday's 96-91 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a force on the glass all night, grabbing 11 rebounds in the first half with four of them coming on the offensive end. The Clippers center finished with a game-high 18 boards, the second time he's reached that mark this season, though he did fail to record a block for just the third time in 16 games. Zubac also failed to score in double figures for the third consecutive game despite playing a season-high 40 minutes on Thursday.
Nov 12, 2022
Game-high 15 rebounds
Zubac ended Saturday's 110-95 loss to Brooklyn with 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 FT) and 15 rebounds across 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac got after it on the boards early, grabbing five rebounds in the first quarter before adding another four in the second, along with eight points on 2-of-2 shooting from the field. He also knocked down four of six free throws in the quarter, finishing the first half just one rebound shy of a double-double. The Clippers big man only scored six points in the second half on 3-of-4 shooting, though he did add another six boards to give him a game-high 15 on the night. Zubac has now recorded six double-doubles on the season and has scored in double figures in five straight games.
Nov 7, 2022
One rebound shy of double-doubleu
Zubac ended Sunday's 110-102 loss to Utah with 12 points (6-12 FG), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals across 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
the Clippers are currently playing with a very tight rotation, so Zubac is manning the center spot with very little competition. Aside from occasional spots where a small-ball approach is the sensible strategy, Zubac will be in line for 30 minutes regularly. He will have a career year if his volume remains steady.
Nov 5, 2022
Posts another double-double
Zubac supplied 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 113-106 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was extremely efficient, as he only missed two shots in the entire contest, but he also posted solid numbers across the board en route to his fifth double-double of the season. Zubac has established himself as a bonafide two-way threat while doing a good job as a starter, and while he's still lacking consistency on a game-to-game basis, the numbers have been quite good overall. He's averaging 10.7 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game across his last six contests.
Nov 1, 2022
Double-doubles, swats four shots
Zubac had 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds, four blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 95-93 victory over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been thriving as the Clippers' starting center and is starting to become a nightly double-double threat every time he steps on the court. The big man has struggled a bit when it comes to consistency on a game-to-game basis, but he has four double-doubles in seven outings while scoring in double digits in all but two outings to date.
Oct 26, 2022
Posts double-double in loss
Zubac notched 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and seven blocks over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 108-94 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers didn't have a good performance Tuesday, but Zubac took advantage of the absence of Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Paul George (illness) to enjoy a bigger role on offense, as the nine field goal attempts represented a season-high mark for him. He's not going to be the alpha dog for the Clippers any time soon, but the fact that he has three double-digit scoring games and two double-doubles through four contests is certainly encouraging.
Oct 24, 2022
Quiet in loss
Zubac posted two points (1-4 FG), eight rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during Sunday's 112-95 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was unable to get going offensively. The Clippers were down 20 points at halftime, which prompted a switch to more small-ball in an attempt catch up. That being said, Zubac hovering around 20 minutes will happen periodically throughout the season on a deep and versatile Clippers squad.
Oct 21, 2022
Dominates in prolific performance
Zubac registered 14 points (6-6 FG, 2-4 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist and five blocks across 35 minutes during Thursday's 103-97 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was arguably the best player on the floor in the win, notching a double-double to go with five blocks. It was certainly a dominant effort from Zubac who finds himself as basically the only true center option on the Clippers roster. He obviously won't be this good every night but given the clear path to minutes, he should remain a very reliable 12-team commodity the rest of the way.

Scores nine points in loss
Zubac scored nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 FT) across 16 minutes in Wednesday night's loss to the Nuggets, adding three rebounds, two assists and a block.
ANALYSIS
Zubac knocked down one of two free throws early in the first quarter for his first point of the game before throwing down an alley-oop dunk off a dish from Paul George on the Clippers' following possession. The Clippers center added two assists of his own in the second quarter, including one to set up Norman Powell for three, while also grabbing three rebounds. Zubac did not play in the second half as the Clippers continue to limit his minutes heading into the regular season.

Ready after rolling ankle
Zubac rolled his ankle during Eurobasket but says he will be ready for training camp and opening night, Farbod Esnaashari of SInow reports.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old center rolled his ankle while playing for Croatia during Eurobasket, however, Zubac appears ready to go for the 2022-23 season. More information about his opening day status should come to light as the regular season draws closer.

Ready after rolling ankle
Zubac rolled his ankle during Eurobasket but says he will be ready for training camp and opening night, Farbod Esnaashari of SInow reports.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old center rolled his ankle while playing for Croatia during Eurobasket, but he's ready to go for the 2022-23 season. More information about his opening day status should come to light as the regular season draws closer.

Signs three-year extension
Zubac and the Clippers agreed Tuesday to a three-year, $33 million extension, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers declined Zubac's $7.5 million team option for 2022-23, clearing the way for the center's new deal. Last season, the 2016 second-round pick averaged 10.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.5 steals across 24.4 minutes per game -- all career highs.

Double-doubles in victory
Zubac chipped in 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes during Saturday's 117-98 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's fantasy impact is threatened by Isaiah Hartenstein on a nightly basis, but the starter bested his teammate in Saturday's victory. Saturday marked Zubac's third consecutive double-double, which came after a string of below-average stat lines. His regression over that span was largely due to Hartenstein's excellent play, but the recent numbers indicate a pendulum swing back in Zubac's direction.
Apr 7, 2022
Posts double-double Wednesday
Zubac recorded 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 113-109 victory over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led the Clippers in rebounding and was one of seven players with double-digit points in the win. The double-double was his second straight following a seven-game stretch during which he failed to produce a double-digit rebound effort. Zubac's playing time is back on the rise -- he is averaging 25.8 minutes over his past four games after averaging just 19.2 minutes in the five games prior.
Apr 4, 2022
Big double-double in victory
Zubac recorded 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and one block over 25 minutes during Sunday's 119-100 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was not among the Clippers who rested for Friday's game against Milwaukee, as he continues to chug along as one of the league's most consistent and underrated fantasy big men. Zubac has missed only six games this season, and he enters the final week of play holding career-best averages in scoring (10.2 PPG), rebounds (8.4 RPG), assists (1.6 APG), steals (0.5 SPG) and blocks (1.0 BPG).
Apr 1, 2022
Narrowly misses double-double
Zubac racked up 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Thursday's 135-130 overtime loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has seen his production falter of late, as he entered Thursday averaging just 6.4 points and 6.2 boards over his previous five contests. He exceeded both those marks against Chicago but just missed out on his first double-double since March 14. Isaiah Hartenstein logged only 18 minutes in the contest after playing at least 20 minutes in each of his previous six contests, which afforded Zubac some some additional opportunity to produce. However, Hartenstein could continue to cut into Zubac's minutes moving forward, making the latter an unsteady fantasy asset.
Mar 15, 2022
Big double-double despite loss
Zubac racked up24 points (10-15 FG, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 36 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 120-111 overtime loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac led the Clippers in scoring. Supplying an impressive outing overall, Zubas was perfect from the free-throw line, amassed seven offensive rebounds and swatted two shots. Zubac has averaged 18.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in his last four games.
Mar 14, 2022
Grabs 15 boards in double-double
Zubac ended Sunday's 106-102 win over the Pistons with 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The biggest notch against Zubac is his tendency to get into early foul trouble, but he is freakishly dependable as a rebounding threat. He's logged double-do-double numbers in March, averaging 13.8 points and 10 rebounds over six games.
Mar 7, 2022
Hindered by foul trouble in loss
Zubac recorded four points (2-5 FG) and nine rebounds in 19 minutes during Sunday's 116-93 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
The big man started at center, per usual, but he picked up four fouls in just 19 minutes, so he was glued to the bench while Isaiah Hartenstein (21 minutes) picked up some of the slack at center. Overall, it was a poor fantasy night for Zubac, who did not block a shot and committed three turnovers, but he did still provide managers with nine boards.
Mar 4, 2022
Strong against former team
Zubac notched 19 points (8-11 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 25 minutes during Thursday's 132-111 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played with the Lakers for two-plus seasons at the start of his career, so he had extra motivation to put forth a solid effort Thursday. The big man delivered with an efficient shooting night from the field and a team-leading nine boards and two blocks. Zubac has played very well of late, averaging 18.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 swats over his past three games.
Mar 2, 2022
Second straight double-double
Zubac recorded 22 points (8-12 FG, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 113-100 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Aside from filling out the stat sheet, Zubac also registered his second straight double-double and the fourth one over his last five appearances. He has been tasked with a bigger role on offense due to the long list of absences the Clippers are dealing with, but the big man has responded well and has now scored in double digits in six of his last seven contests.
Feb 28, 2022
Excels with double-double
Zubac notched 14 points (5-5 FG, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, six blocks and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 99-98 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played at a high level Sunday, displaying a kind of aggressiveness that has eluded him at times throughout the season. It would not be inaccurate to say that the Clippers' fortunes rely on solid frontcourt performances from Zubac, especially during Paul George's absence. He's logged double-digit scoring totals in three of his past four games, and the team is 15-7 in games where Zubac grabs 10 or more rebounds.
Feb 16, 2022
Drops five dimes in loss
Zubac finished with 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and one block in 31 minutes Tuesday in the Clippers' 103-96 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Following a two-week stretch of lackluster production, Zubac seems to have hit his stride over the last three games. With Serge Ibaka out of the mix after being shipped to Milwaukee at the trade deadline, Zubac has taken a stranglehold of the minutes at center while backup Isaiah Hartenstein hasn't benefited from much of a bump in paying time. Despite facing off against a trio of Western Conference powers in the Mavericks, Warriors and Suns in the last three contests, Zubac is averaging 13.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks during that stretch.
Feb 15, 2022
Converts in paint in win
Zubac finished with 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes Monday in the Clippers' 119-104 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Though Zubac's minutes remain all over the shop from game to game, last Thursday's trade that sent Serge Ibaka to Milwaukee has quietly allowed the former's role to stabilize a bit. In the three games sans Ibaka, Zubac is averaging 27.3 minutes per game, up four minutes from his season average. Head coach Tyronn Lue will likely continue to lean more on Robert Covington as a small-ball center when the Clippers oppose big men who can stretch the floor, but at least for the time being, Zubac doesn't look out of place as a back-end roster option in 12-team leagues.
Feb 13, 2022
Stellar all-around line in win
Zubac provided 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals across 33 minutes during Saturday's 99-97 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers hung on for a narrow victory and avenged Thursday night's loss to Dallas behind one of Zubac's better games in recent weeks. His production has waxed and waned since the start of January, but the Clippers sending out Serge Ibaka to Milwaukee at the deadline is essentially a vote of confidence in Zubac. He'll have three more opportunities to play before the All-Star break, beginning with a Monday/Tuesday back-to-back set against Golden State and Phoenix.
Feb 6, 2022
Will play on minutes restriction
Zubac (calf) will be available for Sunday night's game against Milwaukee, but he'll face a minutes restriction, Mark Medina of NBA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Just how many minutes Zubac will play remains to be seen, but the unspecified restriction makes him a bit of a risky play in DFS contests -- especially with Serge Ibaka and Isaiah Hartenstein looming as viable options off the bench.
Feb 5, 2022
Questionable vs. Bucks
Zubac (calf) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Bucks, Mirjam Swanson of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has missed the past two games with right calf soreness. If available, he could return to the starting five, which would push Serge Ibaka back to the bench.
Feb 3, 2022
Won't play Thursday
Zubac (calf) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is currently dealing with a sore calf that held him out of Monday's contest against the Pacers. The center will miss his second consecutive game Thursday. Expect Isaiah Hartenstein and Serge Ibaka to see an abundance of minutes against the Lakers. Zubac's next chance to return to the lineup will be Sunday against Milwaukee.
Feb 2, 2022
Questionable Thursday
Zubac (calf) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac missed Monday's loss to the Pacers with the calf injury but could retake the court Thursday after being labeled day-to-day. Isaiah Hartenstein and Serge Ibaka should split work at second should he miss a second straight contest.
Feb 1, 2022
Receives day-to-day label
Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said prior to Monday's 122-116 loss to the Pacers that Zubac's right calf injury is considered a day-to-day concern, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was sidelined for the first time since Jan. 6 due to the injury, allowing Serge Ibaka to step in as the Clippers' starting center. Ibaka played 22 minutes and finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and one steal, while Isaiah Hartenstein handled the backup duties and posted more modest statistics in 14 minutes. The two will likely continue to absorb the majority of the minutes at center if Zubac isn't ready to go for Thursday's game against the Lakers.
Jan 31, 2022
Ruled out Monday
Zubac (calf) is out Monday against the Pacers, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will be sidelined for the first time since early January as he deals with right calf soreness. Isaiah Hartenstein and Serge Ibaka should see additional run against Indiana.
Jan 31, 2022
Questionable against Pacers
Zubac is questionable for Monday's game against the Pacers due to right calf soreness, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been held to single figures in the scoring column in each of the last four contests and has averaged 5.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game during that time. He hasn't missed a game since early January, but Isaiah Hartenstein and Serge Ibaka should see increased roles if Zubac is unavailable Monday.
Jan 24, 2022
Double-doubles in loss
Zubac had 17 points (5-8 FG, 7-11 FT), 14 rebounds and three blocks across 29 minutes during Sunday's 110-102 loss to New York.
ANALYSIS
It took a while for Zubac to get going after his four-game absence, but the center is now on a three-game double-double streak. The team improves exponentially with his production, as Serge Ibaka was only moderately effective in holding down the interior.
Jan 20, 2022
Goes off in OT loss
Zubac totaled 32 points (15-19 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 130-128 overtime loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
While the Clippers came up short, it was a monster night for Zubac, who set a new career high in scoring and reached the 30-point mark for the first time. He also tacked on 10 boards for his 11th double-double in 42 appearances. Prior to Wednesday, Zubac's production had fallen off of late, but he appears to have re-solidified himself as the top option at center over Serge Ibaka and Isaiah Hartenstein.
Jan 12, 2022
Abysmal performance in win
Zubac supplied two points (1-2 FG) in 10 minutes during Tuesday's 87-85 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac started the game but left the rotation quickly. He returned to the lineup very briefly in the second and third quarter but was a non-factor Tuesday, leaving much of the frontcourt duties to Marcus Morris and Serge Ibaka. There's usually no rhyme or reason for Zubac's disappearing acts, but the likely culprit on Tuesday was Ibaka's ability to defend Nikola Jokic.
Jan 8, 2022
Plays well in return
Zubac accumulated eight points (4-5 FG), seven rebounds and one block across 19 minutes during Saturday's 123-108 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
After four straight absences, Zubac didn't miss a beat in his return. He's always a double-double threat with some defensive numbers thrown in. He's a bench option in deeper fantasy formats at the thin center position.
Jan 8, 2022
Available Saturday
Zubac (conditioning) will play in Saturday's matchup with the Grizzlies, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is returning from the NBA's health an safety protocols. He has been sidelined since Dec. 30. As a result, the Cliippers could opt to ease him back into the swing of things.
Jan 7, 2022
Questionable Saturday
Zubac (conditioning) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac landed in the league's health and safety protocols in late December but is now working on his conditioning ahead of his return. If he remains out Saturday, Serge Ibaka and Nicolas Batum should continue to see increased run.
Dec 30, 2021
Enters health and safety protocols
Zubac has been placed in the league's health and safety protocols, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not yet clear whether Zubac has tested positive for COVID-19 or when he'll be able to rejoin the team. In his absence, Serge Ibaka and Justise Winslow should see most of the frontcourt duties for the Clippers.
Dec 29, 2021
Dominates off glass in win
Zubac provided one point (0-3 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 91-82 win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Though a non-factor offensively, Zubac made his presence felt off the glass and dominated the boards to lead the team. Zubac's 14 total rebounds tied a season best and were actually the most since Nov. 5 against Minnesota. Zubac currently leads the Clippers in rebounding at 8.1 per game, and is also second in blocks at 1.2 per matchup.
Dec 21, 2021
Registers double-double in loss
Zubac supplied 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 27 minutes during Monday's 116-92 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac paced Los Angeles in rebounds in the contest and collected three of the team's five swats. The double-double was his ninth of the campaign thus far. Zubac remains an unreliable scorer, but he can be a low-end fantasy asset for managers needing rebounds and blocks. Over his past eight games, the big man is pulling down 7.8 boards and swatting 2.1 shots per contest.
Dec 9, 2021
Swats four shots in win
Zubac recorded 10 points (3-4 FG, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, four blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 114-111 win over Boston.
ANALYSIS
Zubac wasn't very actively offensively, but he did just enough to record his eighth double-double of the campaign. At least as impressively, he racked up four blocked shots to tie his season-high mark. Zubac is a fairly consistent source of boards and is good for a block or two most games, but he isn't usually a major factor on offense. The center hasn't scored more than 17 points in any game this season and is averaging 10.0 points through 26 contests.
Dec 5, 2021
Registers double-double Saturday
Zubac racked up 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 104-99 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Zubac again didn't take many shots -- he has put up double-digit attempts just twice this season -- but he nonetheless managed to end in double figures in scoring for the third straight contest. The big man also grabbed 11 boards to notch his seventh double-double of the campaign. Zubac offers moderate fantasy value with 10.3 points, 8.2 boards, 0.9 blocks and a 66.9 percent field-goal rate on the campaign.
Dec 4, 2021
Scores 12 in win over Lakers
Zubac ended Friday's 119-115 victory over Los Angeles with 12 points (3-4 FG, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 22 minutes.
ANALYSIS
For the second straight game, Zubac started alongside Serge Ibaka up front, with both players seeing 20-plus minutes of action. Zubac's workload is down slightly since Ibaka returned, but his spot in the starting five appears to be safe, and he'll remain a decent, lower-end fantasy option so long as he can hold onto a 20-to-25-minute role on most nights.
Nov 26, 2021
Puts up double-double in win
Zubac had 10 points (3-4 FG, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 22 minutes during Friday's 107-96 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
The big man continues to be the every-night starter at center for the Clippers, who bounced back from a 112-104 loss to the Mavericks on Tuesday. The return of Serge Ibaka, who saw a season-high 19 minutes off the bench Friday, continues to be something worth monitoring, but Zubac needed just 22 minutes to post his third double-double in four games.
Nov 20, 2021
Almost records double-double
Zubac logged eight points (4-5 FG), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block across 28 minutes during a 94-81 loss Friday at New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Though not outstanding, Zubac's stat line was better than that from most of his teammates. The 24-year-old also showed how he continues to improve reassuringly. Zubac averaged 11.1 points (on a 66.1 field goal percentage) and 10.3 rebounds across his last nine games.
Nov 19, 2021
Strong effort despite loss
Zubac chipped in 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 27 minutes during Thursday's 120-108 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was strong again Thursday, falling just three rebounds short of what would have been his fifth double-double of the season. After what was a slow start to the season, Zubac has been able to up his playing time of late, moving into standard league territory. He has Isaiah Hartenstein breathing down his neck, and Serge Ibaka looking to move back into the rotation. However, until things take a turn for the worst, Zubac is worth rostering in all 12-team leagues.
Nov 12, 2021
Posts double-double in win
Zubac finished Thursday's 112-109 victory versus the Heat with 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocked shots over 29 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac faced the tough task of matching up with Bam Adebayo in the contest, and though the latter torched the Clippers for 19 first-quarter points, Zubac was able to hang tough and finish the game with a nice line in a Los Angeles victory. The sixth-year center failed to register any double-doubles through his first seven games this season, but he has now achieved the feat in three of his past four contests. The recent surge has pushed Zubac's per-game numbers on the season to 10.4 points and 7.5 boards to go along with a nifty 66.1 field-goal percentage.
Nov 6, 2021
Double-doubles in victory Friday
Zubac had 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds, two steals and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 104-84 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
After his playing time had been trending in the wrong direction, Zubac turned things around in a big way Friday. He certainly has the ability to put up numbers like this when the minutes are there, and so this performance is not a total surprise. That said, there is very little reason to think he will do this again anytime soon, based on how he has been utilized thus far. Of course, he is fine to stream in for his next game but expectation levels should be kept to a minimum.
Oct 11, 2021
Active Monday
Zubac (shoulder) will play in Monday's preseason contest against Minnesota, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will get an opportunity to shake off some rust in the Clippers' final preseason matchup. The center averaged 9.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 72 outings in 2020-21.
Oct 7, 2021
Questionable vs. Mavs
Zubac is questionable for Friday's preseason matchup against the Mavericks due to a strained right shoulder, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac presumably picked up the injury during Wednesday's preseason contest, where he finished with seven points, four rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes. If he sits Friday, more minutes would be available for Isaiah Hartenstein, Harry Giles and other big men.
Jun 30, 2021
No go for Game 6
Zubac (knee) will not play in Wednesday's Game 6 against the Suns, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers had hoped to have the big man back after he missed Game 5 with a sprained MCL, but Zubac is still dealing with pain and discomfort and will remain sidelined for a second consecutive elimination game. Zubac posted double-doubles in Games 2, 3 and 4 of the series, but the Clippers will likely have to roll with the smaller alignment -- featuring Marcus Morris at center -- that they used to begin Game 5. Both Morris and Nicolas Batum saw plenty of minutes at center, while coach Ty Lue also dusted off DeMarcus Cousins, who finished the 116-102 victory with 15 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal in 11 minutes.
Jun 29, 2021
Questionable for Game 6
Zubac (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 6 against the Suns, Shane Young of Forbes Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
A sprained right MCL kept Zubac out for Game 5, but the Clippers still pulled off the victory. If he's cleared to play Wednesday, it's not clear if he would start or come off the bench, though the Clippers have had success with him as a starter up to this point. Either way, he could be limited if he takes the court.
Jun 28, 2021
Status reversed to out
Zubac (knee) won't play Monday's Game 5 against Phoenix, Garrett Chorpenning of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was initially cleared to play Monday hours before tip, but the team has since announced that he won't dress due to a sprained right MCL. DeMarcus Cousins figures to be elevated into the starting five as a result, with Patrick Patterson also likely to see an uptick in playing time.
Jun 28, 2021
Will play in Game 5
Updating a previous report, Zubac (knee) will be available for Monday's Game 5 against the Suns, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Clippers initially listed Zubac as questionable with a sprained MCL in his right knee, but the team quickly clarified that the big man will play through the injury with the season on the line. It's unclear when, exactly, Zubac suffered the sprain, but he played a season-high 40 minutes in Saturday's Game 4, finishing with 13 points and 14 boards for his third consecutive double-double. Right now, there's been no indication that Zubac's workload will be limited, but how the knee holds up will be a major plot point to monitor throughout the night.
Jun 28, 2021
Listed as questionable for Game 5
Zubac (knee) is questionable for Monday's Game 5 against the Suns with an MCL sprain in his right knee, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been added to the Clippers' injury report with a right MCL sprain but it is unclear when he actually sustained the injury. The 24-year-old has played in every game -- regular and postseason -- so it would be somewhat of a surprise if he's ultimately held out. The seven-foot center has faired admirably against Deandre Ayton since being inserted into the starting lineup in Game 2, averaging 14.0 points and 13.7 rebounds in 35.7 minutes per game. If Zubac is unable to go, expect DeMarcus Cousins to get an opportunity for extended minutes or for the Clippers to go small with Marcus Morris and Nicolas Batum manning the frontcourt.
Jun 27, 2021
Third straight double-double
Zubac recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, a steal and a block across 40 minutes in Saturday's loss against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has started each of the last three games of the series and has provided double-doubles in each one of those appearances. The big man has made things difficult for Deandre Ayton on both ends of the court and while he's not likely to score around the 20-point mark any time soon, he's doing to deliver strong fantasy numbers on both ends of the court. He has been a strong play in DFS formats this series and that shouldn't change as long as he remains in the starting five.
Jun 25, 2021
Pulls down 16 rebounds
Zubac contributed 15 points (3-8 FG, 9-10 FT), 16 rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal across 33 minutes in Thursday's win over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac started for the second game in a row and delivered another double-double, but he was also able to slow down Deandre Ayton on the defensive end of the court. The big man has provided a boost to the Clippers and is quite likely to remain in the starting five throughout the reminder of the series, something that would undoubtedly provide a boost to his fantasy upside across all formats.
Jun 23, 2021
Double-doubles in Game 2
Zubac registered 14 points (4-5 FG, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and a block across 34 minutes in Tuesday's Game 2 loss against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a surprising addition in the starting lineup for Game 2 after coach Ty Lue chose a small lineup in the series opener, but Zubac's outing will deliver mixed reviews. Even though he posted solid numbers and finished with a double-double, he also had major problems with DeAndre Ayton and was unable to defend the Suns' big man on the sequence that led to the game-winning bucket. This was Zubac's first double-double of the current playoff run, but it remains to be seen whether he'll remain as a starter for Game 3 on Thursday.
Jun 22, 2021
Starting Game 2
Zubac will start Tuesday's Game 2 against the Suns, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After going small in Game 1, coach Ty Lue will opt to bring Zubac into the starting five to help counter Deandre Ayton, who looked great in the series opener. In Zubac's four playoff starts this season, he's averaged 4.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in 16.5 minutes.
Jun 12, 2021
Coming off bench
Zubac will come off the bench for Saturday's Game 3 against the Jazz, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated reports.
ANALYSIS
After getting the start in Game 2, Zubac will return to the bench, as coach Tyronn Lue has decided to go back to a small-ball lineup featuring Nicolas Batum. In Zubac's past five games off the bench, he's averaged 4.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in 13.2 minutes.

Getting start in Game 2
Zubac will start in Game 2 against the Jazz on Thursday, Garrett Chorpenning of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had come off the bench in the previous five games, but he'll re-enter the starting lineup for Game 2 to match up with Rudy Gobert. The 24-year-old center played well in Game 1, going for 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks across 20 minutes. Zubac's return to the starting lineup means Nicolas Batum will revert back to a bench role.

Blocks three shots Tuesday
Zubac ended with 11 points (3-5 FG, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 112-109 loss to Utah.
ANALYSIS
After fading out during the first-round series against the Mavericks, Zubac stepped up in Game 1, turning in a productive evening while also limiting Rudy Gobert to just 10 points. The Clippers are not afraid to play with their rotations based on the matchups, but given that Gobert is going to be on the floor for heavy minutes, Zubac should continue to see meaningful minutes moving forward.

Blocks three shots Tuesday
Zubac ended with 11 points (3-5 FG, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 112-109 loss to Utah.
ANALYSIS
After fading out during the first-round series against the Mavericks, Zubac stepped up in Game 1, turning in a productive evening, while also limiting Rudy Gobert to just 10 points. The Clippers are not afraid to play with their rotations based on the matchups and so while his role is a little uncertain, given Gobert is going to be on the floor a lot, Zubac should at least be seeing meaningful minutes moving forward.
May 30, 2021
Not starting Game 4
Zubac isn't starting Sunday's Game 4 against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had started each of the first three games of the series and averaged 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per contest during that time. Nicolas Batum will take his place in the starting lineup Sunday.
May 16, 2021
To see limited action
Zubac will play "the first minute" and then be rested for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Thunder, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The reason behind the decision is completely unclear, but it goes without saying that Zubac should not be used in DFS lineups Sunday.
May 14, 2021
Secures 11 boards in win
Zubac collected eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 35 minutes in a 113-90 victory over the Hornets on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Zubac grabbed eight-plus rebounds for the fifth straight contest and was just shy of a second consecutive double-double. In addition to the 10.8 points (on 74.2 percent shooting from the field) and 9.0 rebounds over that stretch, the center has also been a consistent factor on defense, averaging 1.2 blocks per game.
May 11, 2021
Double-doubles in win
Zubac scored 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-2 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists and one block across 30 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Zubac reached 30 minutes for only the sixth time in 20 games since April 1. He took advantage to score at least 18 points for only the fourth time on the season while also recording his 13th double double of the campaign. Moving forward, Zubac could be in line to see his minutes reduced as Serge Ibaka (back) is nearing a return to the floor.
May 11, 2021
Will start when Ibaka returns
Zubac will retain the starting center spot for the Clippers even when Serge Ibaka (back) returns, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
The organization is hoping to get Ibaka back before the end of the regular season. But even when he's back, Zubac will remain the starting center. However, we should still expect Zubac's minutes to be reduced.
May 7, 2021
Grabs eight boards in blowout
Zubac produced 14 points (5-5 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and a blocked shot across 28 minutes in Thursday's118-94 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was one of seven Clippers in double figures as they decisively pummelled the Lakers. Although his shot volume wasn't great, he was perfect in all five of his high-percentage shots. The emergence of DeMarcus Cousins has limited Zubac after playing virtually solo without Serge Ibaka, and the center position will likely be a timeshare between the two once the playoffs get underway.
Apr 29, 2021
Totals 14 points, seven boards
Zubac finished Wednesday's loss to the Suns with 14 points (7-9 FG), seven rebounds and three assists over 25 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Zubac made valuable contributions as both a scorer and rebounder, though the Clippers ultimately fell short against the team immediately ahead of them in the Western Conference standings. The big man continues to be a steady but unspectacular presence in the middle for Los Angeles, averaging 11.8 points and 7.6 boards while shooting 66.3 percent from the field over his past 11 games.
Apr 22, 2021
Strong performance vs. Grizzlies
Zubac supplied 18 points (6-11 FG, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 117-105 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Zubac scored at least 18 points for just the third time this season, coming up four points shy of his season-high 22. He's scored in double digits in seven of the past eight games. During this stretch, Zubac has averaged 12.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
Apr 19, 2021
Puts up 13 points Sunday
Zubac notched 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, an assist and a block across 22 minutes in Sunday's win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has never been much of a scoring presence in a lineup filled with other capable weapons, but he has settled in well as the starting center and is producing on the offensive end of the court -- he has scored in double digits in five of his last six games. Zubac is averaging 12.0 points while shooting 72.5 percent from the field in that span.
Apr 15, 2021
Posts another double-double
Zubac delivered 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-7 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block across 32 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has recorded two double-doubles over his last four appearances and has scored in double digits in 12 of his last 17 games since moving to the starting lineup, a span in which he's recorded five double-doubles as well. With Serge Ibaka (back) ruled out for the next few games, Zubac will see most of the playing time at center and he's taken advantage of the opportunity.
Apr 12, 2021
Hands out seven dimes in victory
Zubac closed with 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-6 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and one block in 35 minutes during Sunday's 131-124 victory over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had himself quite a night, recording a double-double to go with a season-high seven assists. His passing is not typically something we have the pleasure of witnessing and it was certainly a nice surprise. Serge Ibaka (back) has been ruled out for at least the next three games and so those invested in Zubac should feel pretty comfortable rolling him out there this week.
Apr 10, 2021
Steady production
Zubac scored 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbed seven boards in 23 minutes during Friday's 126- 109 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac delivered another steady performance Friday night. In the absence of Serge Ibaka (back), the seven-footer has started the last 14 games and is averaging 28.1 minutes, 10.3 points and 8.3 rebounds during that span. Ibaka is inching closer to a return, but back injuries can be tricky so nothing is imminent. While Ibaka's return may move the center back to the bench, Zubac will still be given opportunities to continue his steady production.
Mar 31, 2021
Delivers another double-double
Zubac registered 14 points (7-10 FG) and 13 rebounds across 36 minutes in Tuesday's loss against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Zubac had a larger role on offense due to the many absences on the Clippers roster and attempted double-digit shots just for the fourth time this season -- he has finished with a double-double in three of those contests. Zubac also has two double-doubles over his last four appearances, and while he's not expected to play a big role on offense on a long-term basis, he's doing enough on both ends of the court right now to remain a decent asset across most formats.
Mar 25, 2021
Puts up double-double
Zubac registered 10 points (3-11 FG, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds and five blocks across 29 minutes in Thursday's win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been making the most of his extended minutes, as he has scored in double digits in six games in a row while posting two double-doubles -- and four games with at least eight rebounds -- over that six-game stretch. His upside will remain quite high as long as he remains in the starting lineup due to his ability to contribute on both ends of the court without receiving many touches.
Mar 23, 2021
Capitalizing on Ibaka's absence
Zubac is averaging 12.8 points (on 78.6 percent shooting from the field), 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 30.0 minutes per game while starting at center in the past four contests in place of the injured Serge Ibaka (back).
ANALYSIS
Zubac hasn't turned in any truly eye-popping stat lines while filling in for Ibaka, but he's reached double figures in the scoring column each time out while converting his opportunities on offense at an ultra-efficient clip. The big man has also posted strong numbers on the defensive end, though his steal production is probably a bit inflated. Still, the all-around production Zubac is providing at the moment makes him a worthy short-term option in standard leagues while Ibaka remains without a clear target date to rejoin the lineup.
Mar 18, 2021
Another strong effort in start
Zubac recorded 14 points (7-9 FG), seven rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 105-89 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
With Serge Ibaka (back) out for a second straight game, Zubac got another start and performed well despite the team as a whole struggling. Over the past two games as a starter, Zubac has totaled 29 points, 18 rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block in 70 minutes.
Mar 16, 2021
Registers seventh double-double
Zubac recorded 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 35 minutes Monday against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Zubac turned in a solid scoring performance in just his second start of the season, logging a season-high 35 minutes in the 109-99 victory. He also managed to secure his seventh double-double of the 2020 campaign. Zubac will likely see his workload lessen when Serge Ibaka (back) returns from injury, however.
Mar 15, 2021
Enters starting lineup
Zubac is starting at center Monday night against the Mavericks, Garrett Chorpenning of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac will draw just his second start of the season with Serge Ibaka (back) ruled out Monday evening. The former second-round pick is averaging 6.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist over his last seven games off the bench.
Mar 4, 2021
Double-double off bench
Zubac totaled 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes off the bench during the loss Thursday to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Zubac grabbed double-digit boards in consecutive games for the second time this season while his 13 points were the first time he's scored in double figures since Feb. 21. Despite coming off the bench, Zubac had a higher total of minutes played, points, rebounds and steals than starter Serge Ibaka.
Feb 28, 2021
Quiet in 16 minutes off bench
Zubac had two points (1-3 FG), two rebounds and a steal in Sunday's loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
He picked up three fouls and played only 16 minutes -- his fewest in any game over the last two weeks. Zubac doesn't always need extended minutes to rack up points, rebounds and some blocks, but as the backup to the more-versatile Serge Ibaka, his fantasy ceiling is relatively low.
Feb 24, 2021
Perfect from field Tuesday
Zubac posted 12 points (6-6 FG), 12 rebounds and two blocked shots in a win over Washington on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Zubac didn't miss a shot against the Wizards, and he has now gone 12-of-13 from the field over his past two games. The big man doesn't feature enough on offense to be a legitimate scoring threat, but his selectiveness with his shots has enabled him to shoot a career-best 68.2 percent from the field on the campaign. Zubac is also averaging 6.8 boards per contest and has racked up six double-doubles.
Feb 22, 2021
Near double-double Sunday
Zubac had 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 20 minutes in Sunday's 112-108 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac made the most of his 20 minutes Sunday, leading the Clippers' bench unit in both points (13) and rebounds (eight). He remains an unfavorable option due to the Clippers' possession of Serge Ibaka and their tendency to play small. However, Zubac is averaging 8.6 rebounds across his past 10 games and could be serviceable in that category for those who need them.
Feb 16, 2021
Drops season-high 22 points in win
Zubac closed with 22 points (9-11 FG, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 125-118 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Zubac played a season-high 28 minutes in Monday's stirring victory, walking away with 22 points on 82 percent shooting, also a season-best. While this performance highlights what he is capable of when given ample opportunity, he had played just 15 minutes in each of the two preceding games and so he is a hard player to trust outside of deeper formats.
Feb 8, 2021
Posts double-double in depth role
Zubac tallied 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist over 27 minutes in Sunday's 113-110 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Zubac's results have picked up recently, and he's now recorded double-doubles in two of the last three games. The Clippers relied heavily on their bench players Sunday, but the team sustained a narrow defeat to the Kings. However, Zubac is now averaging 12.0 points and 12.0 rebounds over 25.0 minutes per game across the past three contests.
Feb 3, 2021
Gobbles rebounds
Zubac supplied 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 16 rebounds, three blocks, two steals and an assist over 28 minutes as the Clippers beat the Cavaliers 121-99 Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Zubac feasted as the Clippers pulled away in the second half. Wednesday was Zubac's fourth double-double of the season and his 28-minutes played represented a season high.
Feb 3, 2021
Struggles vs. Nets
Zubac posted two points (1-2 FG) and three rebounds in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 124-120 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac got in some foul trouble, picking up four in his 16 minutes. The Nets also often play small-ball, making it difficult for Zubac to stay on the floor. We should expect him to be in line for a bounceback Wednesday against the Cavaliers with those things in mind.
Jan 27, 2021
Another double-double
Zubac posted 13 points (5-6 FG), 10 rebounds and an assist across 18 minutes in Tuesday's loss against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac delivered another double-double despite coming off the bench, and he has accomplished that feat in three of his last four games. Zubac can certainly leave his mark on both ends of the court, but his upside will never be extremely high unless he manages to find a way to return to the starting lineup.
Jan 24, 2021
Double-doubles once again
Zubac posted 10 points (5-6 FG), 11 rebounds, an assist and two blocks across 24 minutes off the bench in Sunday's win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Zubac came off the bench once again but paced the Clippers in rebounds while also posting his sixth double-digit scoring performance of the campaign. Perhaps most surprisingly, Zubac has two double-doubles over his last three games as a sub and should remain a steady presence in the Clippers' second unit. However, his upside won't be very high until he finds a way to crack the starting lineup on a permanent basis.
Jan 21, 2021
Posts first double-double of season
Zubac registered 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds and one blocked shot across 23 minutes in Wednesday's win over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
After scoring double-digit points in five of his first six contests this season, Zubac went through a spell of eight straight games without reaching the mark. He broke that streak Wednesday with 11 points while also notching his first double-digit rebounding effort of the campaign. Zubac has been mostly quiet to this point this season with per-game averages of 7.5 points and 5.1 rebounds, though he is shooting an ultra-efficient 70 percent from the field.
Jan 17, 2021
Starting Sunday
Zubac will start Sunday's game against the Pacers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Serge Ibaka was a late scratch from Sunday's game due to a non-COVID-19 related illness, so Zubac will step in to make his first start of the season. The 23-year-old is averaging 7.4 points and 4.5 rebounds over 18.2 minutes per game to begin the year but should be in line for an increased role Sunday.
Jan 13, 2021
Available Wednesday
Zubac (abdominal) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ANALYSIS
After sustaining the injury in Sunday's win over the Bulls, Zubac went through pregame warmups and is good to go for tonight's matchup with the Pelicans. So far this season, Zubac is averaging 7.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 17.6 minutes of action per game. He will continue to serve as the primary backup to Serge Ibaka.
Jan 12, 2021
Questionable Wednesday
Zubac is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans due to abdominal soreness.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old apparently picked up the injury during Sunday's win over the Bulls, and his status is in question for Wednesday. Patrick Patterson could see some run off the bench if Zubac is unavailable.
Jan 10, 2021
Grabs seven boards
Zubac recorded five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 FT), seven boards, one assist, one steal, and one block in 16 minutes of a 130-127 win against Chicago on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finished with his highest point total since January 1, as his scoring has slowed significantly after reaching double-digits in the first four games of the season. The drop in scoring can't be attributed to decrease in playing time, as he's only seen his minutes fall slightly in January. He'll face the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Dec 31, 2020
Gets 15 minutes
Zubac scored seven points (2-2 FG, 3-4 FT) to go with two rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks, and two turnovers in 15 minutes of Wednesday's 128-105 win over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was solid off the bench, but only saw 15 minutes despite the game being a blowout. The big man isn't much of a fantasy asset at the moment, but he did lead the Clippers with three blocks, a stat which is tough to find in fantasy.
Dec 12, 2020
To come off bench in regular season
Zubac will come off the bench behind Serge Ibaka during the regular season, Mirjam Swanson of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac started last season, and Montrezl Harrell would come off the bench and provide energy. Now, with a new head coach and new option at center, Zubac will come off the bench while Tyronn Lue starts Serge Ibaka. Zubac saw just 18.4 minutes per game last season, so the change likely won't affect his production significantly. If anything, he actually may get more touches while with the second unit.
Dec 12, 2020
Grabs 10 boards off bench
Zubac registered four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 FT) while grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out one assist and swatting one shot across 18 minutes off the bench during Friday's 87-81 loss against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac might be destined for a bench role this season following the arrival of Serge Ibaka, but he made his presence felt on the glass in this one and paced the Clippers in the rebounding department. Zubac averaged 8.3 points and a career-high 7.5 rebounds per game last season, and he has a shot at posting similar numbers off the bench this season if he receives a sizable role off the bench.
Sep 8, 2020
Held in check Monday
Zubac ended with just eight points (1-1 FG, 6-7 FT) and three rebounds in 21 minutes during Monday's 113-107 Game 3 victory over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Zubac offered very little outside of being a big-body on the inside for the Clippers, failing to record a defensive stat for the third time in his last four games. His offensive production has ebbed and flowed during his time in the bubble, as has his playing time. His minutes have been kept to under 25 in all three games against the Nuggets and as we have seen throughout his career, his fantasy ceiling remains capped.
Aug 31, 2020
Double-doubles in Game 6 victory
Zubac amassed 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 FT) and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes during Sunday's 111-97 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Zubac continues to play well for the Clippers, helping them to a series-clinching victory Saturday. His playing time has been surprising, although it could take a hit depending on who they face in the second round of the playoffs. His productivity is often limited which does make him a risky DFS play, despite the consistent role.
Aug 22, 2020
Plays season-high 30 minutes Friday
Zubac compiled 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and one block in 30 minutes during Friday's 130-122 victory over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
With Montrezl Harrell continuing to work his way back from an extended break, Zubac put up another strong performance. The playing time was a season-high and certainly demonstrates the confidence he has right now. He typically provides a much better defensive presence for the Clippers and even as Harrell gets his legs back under him, Zubac is likely to remain the starting option.
Aug 10, 2020
Dominates glass once again
Zubac scored eight points (4-8 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 0-0 FT) and added 15 rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes during Sunday's 129-120 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac set a new career high with his fourth-straight game of double-digit rebounds. Since the restart, he has been an unyielding presence in the paint, with 69 rebounds in six contests and a couple of high-scoring games to boot. The seven-footer will look to stay on a roll Wednesday against the Nuggets.
Aug 8, 2020
Just shy of double-double in win
Zubac recorded nine points (2-5 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes during Saturday's 122-117 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been on a tear over the past three games, totaling 48 points, 39 rebounds, five assists and two blocks. He's also shot 19-of-24 from the field and 10-of-13 from the charity stripe. The Clippers undoubtedly miss Montrezl Harrell, but if Zubac can continue to perform like this, it puts less pressure on JaMychal Green and Joakim Noah.
Aug 6, 2020
Big double-double in win
Zubac scored 21 points (10-10 FG, 1-2 FT) while adding 15 rebounds, an assist and a block in 24 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year center was essentially the difference in the game -- while Luca Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis combined for 59 points to Kawhi Leonard and Paul George's 53, the Mavs didn't have a third contributor to match Zubac. He now has back-to-back double-doubles, and Zubac could be a wild card for the Clippers as they try to lock up the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
Aug 5, 2020
Double-doubles against the Suns
Zubac ended with 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds and one block in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 117-115 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Zubac finally got things going after a slow start to bubble-life, turning in an impressive double-double. He went toe-to-toe with Deandre Ayton and certainly held his own. Zubac doesn't have the highest fantasy ceiling but until Montrezl Harrell (personal) returns, he is worth considering as a backend center option.
Jul 31, 2020
Invisible in Thursday's loss
Zubac had just two points (1-3 FG), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 15 minutes during Thursday's 103-101 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac started at center for the Clippers but failed to make an impact. He could be excused here given he had only one scrimmage coming into the game. Zubac should continue to start even when Montrezl Harrell (personal) returns, however, his upside is capped no matter the situation. Until Harrell is back on deck, Zubac is worth a look as a big-man flier type if you need rebounds and efficiency from the floor.
Jul 28, 2020
Logs 13 minutes in Orlando debut
Zubac started and played 13 minutes Monday in the Clippers' 106-102 exhibition loss to the Kings. He finished with two points, six rebounds and one assist.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was making his first game appearance in the Orlando bubble after he arrived late to the Walt Disney World complex following a positive COVID-19 test. Though he never exhibited any symptoms of the coronavirus, Zubac still needed to clear all health-related protocol before he was deemed fit to play Monday. According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, coach Doc Rivers was pleased with Zubac's performance in the scrimmage, so the 23-year-old should be ready to roll as the Clippers' starting center when the team resumes its regular-season slate Thursday against the Lakers.
Jul 27, 2020
Making bubble debut
Zubac is starting Monday's scrimmage against the Kings, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac was a late arrival to Orlando following a positive COVID-19 test, but he's cleared quarantine and is in the starting five at center.
Jul 24, 2020
On way to Orlando
Zubac is on his way to join the Clippers in the Orlando bubble, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Zubac has been away from the team for undisclosed reasons, but he'll be in Orlando shortly. Once he arrives, he'll have to quarantine and pass two negative coronavirus tests before he can practice. As a result, he can be ruled out for Saturday's scrimmage against the Wizards, but he could play in the Clippers' final scrimmage Monday against the Kings.
Jul 21, 2020
Not practicing in Orlando
Zubac wasn't present at the Clippers' practice session Tuesday and may not have arrived in Orlando ahead of the NBA season restart, Joe Vardon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reported back on July 10 that Zubac didn't accompany the Clippers' main traveling party to Orlando, but a team source suggested the center was set to join the club soon. A week and a half later, Zubac has yet to be spotted at team workouts, making it unclear whether or not he's made the trip to Orlando or is in the process of completing a mandatory self-quarantine period in his hotel room. Regardless, Zubac's continued absence from workouts puts his status in question for the season restart, as the Clippers are set to return to action July 30 against the Lakers. With Montrezl Harrell (personal) having left the Orlando bubble to tend to a family emergency, the Clippers could be forced to rely heavily on the newly signed Joakim Noah to fill minutes at center if both Zubac and Harrell are unavailable when the season resumes.
Mar 6, 2020
Perfect from field
Zubac went for 17 points (6-6 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds and one block in 20 minutes during Thursday's 120-105 win at Houston.
ANALYSIS
Zubac is not known for his offensive contributions, to the point that he's topped the 15-point plateau just twice this season. In fact, the 17 points were a season-high mark for the big man, who continues to produce in other areas such as rebounds and field goal percentages with enough consistency to remain fantasy relevant.
Feb 24, 2020
Season-high 15 boards in loss
Zubac posted eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists and one block across 20 minutes during Saturday's 112-103 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Considering the Clippers shot just 39.1 percent from the field, there were plenty of misses for Zubac to clean up, as seven of his season-high 15 rebounds came on the offensive end. Saturday's effort also marked the seventh time this season Zubac has compiled double-digit boards in 20 or fewer minutes -- a tally that leads the league. In February, he's averaging 8.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 assists across 18.9 minutes while also shooting 72.2 percent from the field.
Jan 23, 2020
Efficient in loss
Zubac delivered 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 15 minutes in the Clippers' 102-95 loss to the Hawks on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
The young big was excellent from an efficiency standpoint, and he was a bit more involved offensively than usual with Kawhi Leonard (load management), Paul George (hamstring) and Patrick Beverley (groin) all sitting out the contest. Zubac's scoring tally was only his second of the double-digit variety since the calendar flipped to 2020, however, so his most consistent form of fantasy contribution continues to be on the boards, an area where he's averaging 7.1 rebounds per contest across 10 January games.

Sixth double-double of season
Zubac had 12 points (6-8 FG), 10 rebounds, four blocks and two assists in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 128-103 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Zubac hadn't logged double-digit points and/or rebounds in each of his last three outings, but he snapped that run -- as well as a six-game run of single-digit scoring performances -- with his sixth double-double of the season here. His playing time has been lacking of late, though, as he has logged 20 or more minutes just thrice over his last 10 starts. That certainly conspires against his upside moving forward.
