Will see action as freshman
Offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick said Martin has been a standout in camp and will play this season, Casey Lundquist of Sports Illustrated reports.
ANALYSIS
Roderick gave glowing reviews of Martin after practice Tuesday, saying he is "one of the best players on this team." Martin, a true freshman from El Paso, came to BYU as a four-star recruit and is a bigger back, coming in at 6-feet-2-inches and 205 pounds. While he will be competing with the rest of the running back room led by Aidan Robbins, it's a promising sign that he'll be in the mix so early in his collegiate career.
