There are seven NBA games on Wednesday’s schedule, including Cavaliers @ 76ers and Nuggets @ Mavericks. Let’s dive into the top player props for today.
Kawhi Leonard: Over 27.5 Points (-110) vs. Wizards
Leonard has been instrumental in the Clippers’ resurgence. Los Angeles has won 10 of its last 12, with the two-time NBA Finals MVP averaging 32.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. He’s been incredibly efficient, too, posting .516/.419/.909 shooting splits.
Washington’s horrid defense likely doesn’t stand much of a chance here, and if the game is put out of reach too soon, Leonard may not get the minutes to surpass this scoring mark. The efficiency is a good sign, though, and he should see a healthy shot diet even if he ends up playing under 30 minutes.
Jay Huff: Over 14.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115) vs. Raptors
Huff has popped for some big performances lately. The seven-footer dropped 20 points in his last outing, his second time reaching the mark in his last four games. He’s not much of a player on the glass and he’s typically only good for an assist or two, but that adds up fast at a line this low.
In two previous meetings with Toronto this season, Huff has notched 11 and 16 PRA. However, unlike past matchups, he’s likely to face a depleted center rotation that may be without Jakob Poeltl and Sandro Mamukelashvili.
From left to right, you’ll find sections for the prop, expected value, cover probability, bet rating, and the best line available. Let’s quickly break down what these mean.
You’ll also find three dropdown menus above the grid. These allow you to sort by matchup, prop type, and bet rating, respectively. Use these to narrow down your search and find the best player prop available for your specified terms.
The vast majority of our NBA player prop predictions are completely free. OddsTrader doesn’t limit the types of player props you can bet on, either. Our expert picks and predictions are available for over 50 different markets, ranging from simple points props to first-quarter assists. If it’s offered by a sportsbook, there’s a good chance we have a free pick available for it.
There are lots of small details that go into NBA player prop betting. If you still have some questions, read our answers to some common FAQs below.
You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total.
If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win.
Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop.
If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
