2025 Memorial Tournament

May 29 – June 1, 2025 at Muirfield Village Golf Club

The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village

The Memorial Tournament is a 72-player field signature event on the PGA Tour held at Muirfield Village, a real championship test, where in recent years the cream of the PGA Tour has risen to the top.

Muirfield Village, or “Jack’s Place” as it’s affectionately known after its designer, the great Jack Nicklaus, plays host every year to the event.

The Ohio course is a lengthy test, at over 7500 yards, requiring accuracy and length off the tee, because with the approach shots longer than average, at just under 200 yards, rough avoidance around the fairways is key.

The Bentgrass greens are extremely quick, but smaller than average and with severe undulations, strategically placed approach shots are the only way to unlock low scores.

Why Can Si Woo Kim Win Top Asian?

South Korean Si Woo Kim has been finding his best form in recent weeks, which could be perfect timing for the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, where his elite ball-striking tee-to-green often sets him apart.

Five of Kim’s last six events here have seen the thirty-one-year-old making the top 20. Those results mean a confident selection for this week in the Top 20 market at B365 while also compounding value by adding him for the Top Asian and Top South Korean.

Top Asian is a very small elite pool of players that includes Hideki Matsuyama, Sungjae Im, and Byeong Hun An.

The Japanese star Matsuyama is playing respectably, but his form seems a little erratic currently, which is probably linked to his neck and back problems that have undermined him in recent years. Matsuyama, in fact, has missed three of his last six cuts to illustrate his inconsistency.

Top Korean is an even smaller pool with just the other two players. Sungjae Im appears to have lost form in recent weeks, while this year, Byeong Hun An has struggled to hit the heights of recent seasons, and therefore, by elimination, Si Woo Kim is the only Asian with any recent dependable form.

We are advising betting on Si Woo Kim in the Top Asian and Top 20 markets this week at the Memorial Tournament.

Golf Pick: Si Woo Kim to be Top Asian (+240) at Bet365

Golf Pick: Si Woo Kim to be Top South Korean (+140) at Bet365

Golf Pick: Si Woo Kim to Finish in Top 20 (+120) at Bet365

Back Rickie for A Fast Start

Our final bet is Rickie Fowler for the first-round leader market.

The thirty-six-year-old Californian is yet to really fire this season, but there is growing evidence, week by week, that his game is coming around. In fact, often in recent events, one bad round has cost dearly and undermined some very low rounds.

In general, Fowler has started well in the opening rounds of events, three times in the last eight he has been in the top 10 and add in his previous history here at Muirfield Village where he has won this market once and twice finished in the top 5, we have a nice bet on Rickie Fowler for first round leader.

Like Si Woo Kim, Fowler is worth adding as a top 20 bet overall, given he has three in his last eight and a career record of six top 20s here, from the fifteen times he has teed it up.

The top sportsbooks offer Rickie Fowler for his seventh top 20 finish at the Memorial Tournament at +210, so that will balance the higher variance of a first-round leader bet at +6600.

Golf Pick: Rickie Fowler to Finish Top 20 (+210) at Bet365

Golf Pick: Rickie Fowler to Be First Round Leader (+6600) at Bet365
