Our first play using the AI Model is Matthew Boyd to go Under 7.5 strikeouts. The Model expects Boyd to finish with 5.5 strikeouts. However, his prop is currently at 7.5, with the Under at -150.
Can Boyd Really Add Eight Strikeouts?
For any pitcher, a lot has to go right for eight strikeouts. Matthew Boyd has earned 28.3% of strikeouts against his last 113 batters. However, this season, he’s still only struck out 23.7% of batters.
He’s got an ideal matchup against the Rockies. However, eight strikeouts is pushing it. The Rockies still have three batters who have struck out below 15% of the time against lefties over the last month.
Plus, Boyd has also allowed a .155 ISO and wOBA of .333 to 236 batters this season. He’s been far from perfect and will still face a Rockies lineup that has major league hitters.
I’ll side with the AI Model and take Boyd to go Under 7.5 Ks.

New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels

The AI Model believes Clarke Schmidt will conclude tonight’s game with 5.3 strikeouts. However, his prop is at 6.5, with the under at -140. This is another super valuable play tonight.
Can Clarke Schmidt Pitch Deep Tonight?
The Yankees are getting quality work from Clarke Schmidt recently. Over the last 30 days, he’s struck out 25% of batters and has limited those hitters to a .127 ISO and wOBA of .302.
He’s still allowed a .340 wOBA to righties and has walked nearly 11% of batters in the last month.
In addition, Schmidt has added 11.9% of swinging strikes over the last month. That’s dropped a bit. He currently has a 12.6% swinging strike average.
Meanwhile, the Angels have hit a .195 ISO and wOBA OF .332 against righties using the projected lineup over the last 30 days. The Angels have some power in the lineup and have been consistent enough. If Schmidt falls behind in counts and continues to allow high line drives with low ground balls, it’s possible the Angels can knock Schmidt out of the game early.

Our AI Model predicts Randy Arozarena will add .177 RBIs tonight. His prop is currently sitting at .5, with the under at -195. Despite the juice, there’s still value here.
Arozarena Doesn’t Look Great At The Plate!
The Mariners aren’t getting much power out of Randy Arozarena against righties recently. Over the last 30 days, Arozarena has hit a .143 ISO and has struck out nearly 30% of the time against righties.
He’s hit close to 45% of ground balls and has added just a 22.2% fly ball percentage. He’s been able to hit some line drives, but will face Trevor Williams, who has allowed just a .109 ISO and wOBA of .309 against his last 50 righties.
Williams has been way worse against lefties. He’s pitched well against righties, which should give Arozarena a hard time earning an RBI, let alone a hit.
Plus, the Mariners don’t have a ton of power in the lineup to begin with. Cal Raleigh is the lone lefty who has done severe damage against righties over the last 30 days. He might hit a home run, which would leave Arozarena up with nobody on.
Take Arozarena to add no RBIs tonight.
