With three games on the NBA slate tonight, I’ve added multiple player props that you should consider placing for tonight. Let’s earn some money!
Picks Summary
- Jayson Tatum Under 29.5 Points (-111)
- Saddiq Bey Over 8.5 Points (-110)
- Bruce Brown Over 10.5 Points (-105)
Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks
Friday, April 21, 2023 – 07:00 PM EDT at State Farm Arena
Should We Rely on Jayson Tatum On The Road?
Jayson Tatum has averaged 27 points per game in the postseason. He’s also scored 26.5 points per game against the Hawks this year.
His prop is currently at 29.5 tonight, on the road, against the Hawks. Tatum has reached 30 points in just one of his last five games. He’s also reached this number in four of his last ten games.
He’s played 40 minutes in both postseason games against the Hawks this season. He’s also attempted at least 22 shots per game, but he hasn’t hit 30 or more points in either game. Instead, he scored:
- Game 1: 25 points
- Game 2: 29 points
In Game 2, he still shot 54.5% from the field and hit 5-for-9 from downtown. Yet, he didn’t find the foul line once.
The Pick
Tatum has just two foul shots in the entire series so far. If he can’t get to the foul line, it will be ultra-complicated, earning enough points to get to that 30-mark.
Tatum hasn’t been a wild scorer over his last 20 games, either. He’s only scored 30 or more points in 45% of games, and it feels like the Hawks will defend at a much higher rate at home in a must-win game tonight.
I’ll take Tatum to go under 29.5 points at -111 betting odds.
NBA Pick: Jayson Tatum Under 29.5 Points (-111) at Caesars Sportsbook
Ride High With Saddiq Bey?
Meanwhile, I’m high on Saddiq Bey tonight, whose points prop is sitting at 8.5 despite averaging 13.8 points this season.
The Hawks have to recognize that Bey will help them stick around offensively. This moment is why the Hawks brought him in.
Bey played just 15 minutes and went 0-for-4 from the field. He’s only scored six points in two games, but when he’s given minutes and can get into a rhythm, he’s an entirely different player.
Bey has added multiple games of 10 or more points for the Hawks. It’s Atlanta’s job to get him involved more and keep him on the floor.
The Pick
He’s hit this line in 76% of games this year. He’s also hit this line in eight of his last ten games. The Hawks need to get Bey going, and this game, at home, down 2-0, is the perfect time to do that.
Let’s take Saddiq Bey over 8.5 points.

Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Friday, April 21, 2023 – 09:30 PM EDT at Target Center
Is Denver Too Good?
The Denver Nuggets have crushed the Minnesota Timberwolves through two playoff games this season. The Nuggets have won each game by at least nine points and continue to look like one of the best teams in the league.
Minnesota’s season is in jeopardy tonight. The Nuggets are already up 2-0, and if they can earn another win on the road, the Timberwolves will find themselves down 3-0 in the series.
Minnesota, on paper, matches up with the Nuggets well. But the postseason goes beyond matchups. The Nuggets are way more in-sync and connected. The preparation has been much better for the Nuggets as well.
These things matter and aren’t necessarily in the regular season’s box score and stat sheets.
Bet on Bruce Brown
Bruce Brown played 30 minutes against the Timberwolves in Game 2, where he took seven shots but only finished with six points. Brown couldn’t connect from three, but I still love the fact that he’s out there on the floor for 30 minutes a game.
Brown has scored at least 11 points in eight of his last ten games. He’s also hit this line in 57% of games this season. The Nuggets guard has averaged 12.3 points per game against the Timberwolves this season, which would also be enough to win his prop bet tonight.
He’s shot over 48% from the field this season and typically takes good looks. He lets the game come to himself. He won’t try and force it like some of the other guys on the team. He knows his role and plays it well. And that should help Brown get to 11 points or more tonight.
Take Bruce Brown to go over 10.5 points.
