The Chicago Sky closed out the first half of the season with back-to-back losses to the Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream.
The Sky will play the Lynx to begin the second half of the season.
This is the fourth and final game between the Sky and Lynx. Oddly enough, the other three games were also in July, including an 87-81 win for Chicago over Minnesota back on July 12. That was Chicago’s last win. But the Sky were home in that game. Chicago will be on the road to close out its season series against the Lynx tonight.
It’s why the Lynx are 15.5-point favorites at some of the top-rated sportsbooks. However, we’re not here to pick against the spread and figure out where the total will land. Instead, we’re looking at Angel Reese and her props for tonight’s game.
Chicago Sky vs. Minnesota Lynx
Tuesday, July 22, 2025 – 08:00 PM EDT at Target Center
Reese has added at least 16 points in each of the first games against the Lynx. She’s also recorded at least ten rebounds in each game this season against Minnesota.
Will her dominance against the Lynx continue tonight?
Let’s talk about it before checking out what Caesars Sportsbook (check our Caesars Sportsbook Review) has prepared for tonight’s action.
Reese Always Finds a Way To Score Against the Lynx!
Angel Reese has scored at least 15 points in eight consecutive games played. She missed Chicago’s last game against the Dream with a leg injury, and the Sky lost, 86-49. It shows just how valuable she is for the Sky when she’s healthy and out there.
Meanwhile, against the Lynx, she’s earned at least 16 points in every game this season. She’s also drawn 12 fouls combined in her last two games against the Lynx. Furthermore, she’s even hit a three in the previous two games against the Lynx.
Minnesota is typically one of the best defenses in the WNBA. They’ve held power forwards to the fourth-lowest points per game rate in the league. However, the Sky will need to find ways to score, and giving more volume to Angel Reese is the answer.
It’s All About The Mebounds
Although Angel Reese has added 13 rebounds in just 41% of games this season, she’s still hit this line in three of her last five games against the Lynx. As a matter of fact, Reese has earned at least 16 rebounds in three of her previous five games against the Lynx.
Additionally, she’s hit this line in six of her last ten games and will face a Minnesota squad that ranks 10th in rebounds allowed to power forwards this season. The Lynx are an elite ball club. However, they’ve struggled with stopping bigs on the glass throughout the season. Reese should be able to take advantage.
She’ll be out on the floor for more than 30 minutes, too. She’s played more than 33 minutes per game over the last ten games.
We Need Reese To Be a Ball Hog!
The Minnesota Lynx rank third in the WNBA in assists allowed to power forwards. On the other hand, Reese has added at least four assists in only 45% of games this season.
She also missed at least four assists in her latest game against Minnesota and has turned the ball over at least six times in four consecutive games against the Lynx.
Her efficiency has hovered around 20% over the last five games against Minnesota, but it is 25% in the previous ten games. She doesn’t play as well against Minnesota, and it’s partly because of her teammates’ inability to score against one of the best defenses in the WNBA.
We want the ball-hog version of Angel Reese tonight—so we’re fading her assists (Under 3.5 Assists at +108) and rocking with her to smash the over on both 14.5 points (-125) and 12.5 rebounds (+110) at Caesars Sportsbook.
Let her cook, crash the glass, and keep those dimes to herself.
