The WNBA has five games on the slate throughout the day! After tonight’s games, it’ll be All-Star Weekend, and there will be no games in the WNBA until Tuesday, July 22.
The league has three matchups during the day for camps to watch the games. However, there are still two games scheduled for the night, including the Fever-Liberty matchup and the Aces-Wings game.

Indiana Fever vs. New York Liberty

Last night, the Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun, 85-77. It was Indiana’s third consecutive win. However, Caitlin Clark was visibly in pain with a groin injury. She ultimately reinjured her groin and is now unlikely to play in tonight’s game.
That means Aliyah Boston and the rest of the Fever will need to step up and make more plays while filling up the box score. Boston has added at least eight rebounds in 48% of games this season. She’s hit this number in just one of her last five games. But without Clark, she’ll be way more active, especially going up against a Liberty team that doesn’t hold power forwards off the glass very well.
Consider Boston to add at least eight rebounds in tonight’s game.
Aliyah Boston Must Step Up!
After Caitlin Clark’s reinjury of her groin last night, Aliyah Boston and others will need to step up and do more in tonight’s game against the Liberty.
That doesn’t just include scoring. It also includes getting rebounds. Boston has added no more than six rebounds in four consecutive games. Still, she’s hit at least eight rebounds in five of her last ten games against the Liberty, including the previous three.
Boston has grabbed 24 rebounds in two straight games against the Liberty. On May 24, Boston tallied 13 rebounds, and on July 14 against the Liberty, she added 11 rebounds.
It’s a good matchup for her. After all, the Liberty rank 12th in the WNBA in rebounds allowed. They’re also 11th in rebounds allowed to power forwards this season. Boston should be able to capitalize on New York’s inability to rebound efficiently.
Ultimately, disregard her statistics over the last five games. She’s got to do more and will easily be more involved on both ends of the floor. Let’s take her to add at least eight rebounds against the Liberty tonight.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Dallas Wings

Paige Bueckers has had a terrific rookie season. She’s had some big games with a lot of points. However, tonight, I’m liking her rebounds prop.
Bueckers has earned at least four rebounds in 65% of games this season and will take on a Las Vegas squad that ranks 12th in the WNBA in rebounds allowed to shooting guards this year.
While the Aces have a lot of notable names on the roster, they’re 10-11 on the season and not playing at their best. They’ve missed many shots that Bueckers will have the chance to clean up.
Bueckers Should Close Out The First Half Strong!
Paige Bueckers was drafted No. 1 overall by the Dallas Wings earlier this year. Since being drafted, she hasn’t disappointed. Bueckers leads the team with 18.3 points per game and has also added 4.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
That said, she’ll take on an Aces squad that ranks 12th in rebounds allowed to shooting guards. In fact, the Aces rank 9th overall in rebounds allowed this season.
Bueckers is already coming off a performance in which she grabbed two offensive rebounds against the Fever. She’s also added three offensive rebounds in her last two games.
While she only added two rebounds in her first game against the Aces, she still has an outstanding matchup against the Aces.
In that first game against Las Vegas, the Aces shot only 41.9% from the field at home. Now, Las Vegas will be on the road. I’d expect similar numbers offensively. That’s good news for Bueckers.
