Nixon posted six rushes for 30 yards and reeled in 2 of 4 targets for 25 yards during Saturday's 43-10 victory over Tulsa.
ANALYSIS
The Huskies seem to have no problem abandoning the run game, and that trend continued against Tulsa. Nixon yielded a few more touches to Daniyel Ngata this time around but was still one of the more productive running banks on the roster.

Leads meager rushing attack
Nixon accrued six carries for 48 yards during Saturday's 56-19 victory over Boise State.
ANALYSIS
The sophomore surpassed Dillon Johnson and Daniyel Ngata in rushing yards, although Dillon Johnson was the only back to score a touchdown. Wahington's offense is potent, but they will be increasingly easy to defend if they don't diversify their offense with some more rushing plays. The Huskies recorded just 78 yards on the ground in the blowout win.

Takes reps mostly as RB
Nixon, who has typically played at wide receiver, has impressed the Huskies at the running back position in fall camp, TheAthletic.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Nixon did not see the field very much at Nebraska last season when he appeared in one game and had one reception for five yards, but it looks like he will be more of an impact player for the Huskies. After missing spring practices Wayne Taulapapa and Nixon have gotten almost every rep in fall camp with Cam Davis getting a few as well.
