Fortunately for The Old Lady, their weekend opposition has been just as problematic at the back. With just one clean sheet in five straight games and a winless streak of three consecutive meetings, the home side will be confident in bouncing back to winning ways.

Looking at the bigger picture, while Juve’s statistics may gift Genoa a smidge of confidence, this team has lost 10 of the previous 14 meetings in this fixture. Goals are usually given in this head-to-head, but should a winner emerge this weekend, it’s hard not to fade Alberto Gilardino’s men.

Due to a recent downtrend, the Serie A betting odds are giving us the Juventus moneyline at an excellent price of -188.

I understand the troublesome results of late might be a cause for concern. Still, it’s rare to see a top-three Serie A squad with a dominant history over their opponents receive such a valuable line while also holding the home advantage.
