The AI Model thinks the Braves will add a 4.0-3.9 win over the Phillies. Yet, Philadelphia is +135 on the moneyline. Since the AI Model has this game as a near tie, the Phillies at +135 is definitely the play in this one.
Can Jesus Luzardo Keep Up?
The Phillies will roll with Jesus Luzardo tonight. The lefty thrower has struck out more than 24% of batters over the last month. He’s also allowed a .116 ISO over the entire season.
He’ll take on a Braves lineup that has hit just a .132 ISO over the last month. It’s safe to say that the Braves won’t find their home run swing in tonight’s game against Luzardo and the Phillies.
On the other hand, it’ll be Spencer Schwellenbach for the Braves. He’s allowed a .186 ISO to his last 60 righties and will face a Phillies lineup that has five righties. Those five righties have added a .345 wOBA with below 20% of strikeouts.
The Phillies can certainly add more power than the Braves tonight.

The AI Model suggests the Nationals and Angels will tie, 3.9-3.9. Yet, the Nationals are currently +110 on the moneyline. Here’s another underdog play with value.
Michael Soroka Has Looked Great!
The Washington Nationals will send out right-hander Michael Soroka. He’s allowed a .070 ISO and wOBA of .192 to his last 48 righties.
Meanwhile, he’ll battle an Angels lineup that should still have six righties in the lineup. After all, the Angels’ projected lineup has hit a .142 ISO and wOBA of .291 over the last month. They’ve also struck out close to 25% and have walked only 7.5%.
Soroka has an ideal matchup, especially since he’s struck out 29.6% of batters over the last month.
On the other hand, Kyle Hendricks will start for the Angels. He’s struck out only 17.6% of batters over the last month. In addition, he’s allowed a .220 ISO and wOBA of .351. I’ll trust the Nationals to do more damage.
