Expert NFL Picks for Week 10

The cover for this NFL picks week 10 article shows Aaron Rodgers #8 of the Pittsburgh Steelers running against the Indianapolis Colts

For this week’s best NFL predictions, we have NFL picks Week 10 on the best games, including the Sunday Night Football showdown between the Chargers and Steelers after Pittsburgh’s upset win over the Colts last week.

NFL Picks Week 10 At-a-Glance

Our NFL picks for Week 10 include the Steelers trying to slow down Justin Herbert in Los Angeles, the Colts could be showing off new corner Sauce Gardner in Berlin, and the Bears and Giants have a potential shootout to monitor.

But let’s start in Germany after the Colts made the biggest move before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts (Colts -6.5)

You’ll have to wake up early to see Sunday’s NFL matchup in Berlin, Germany, between the Colts and Falcons. Atlanta (3-5) has not won a game since its great upset of the Bills in Week 6.

Atlanta has a good pass rush that will need to get after Daniel Jones after the various ways he turned the ball over 5 times in Pittsburgh last week. And despite Atlanta’s pass rush, its run defense and scoring defense are mediocre at best.

But the other side of the coin sees the Falcons trying to score on the Colts, who have a solid defense.

The Falcons don’t really have a great receiver out of Drake London, but that’s exactly why you trade for corner Sauce Gardner if you’re the Colts and you work him on that matchup the best you can. It may be harder after just joining the team this week, but Gardner is expected to play.

And that’s why we like the Colts to handle the young Falcons in Berlin and cover the spread in a bounce-back game.

Expert Pick: Colts -6.5 (-110) at BetMGM

New York Giants vs. Chicago Bears (Bears -4.5)

It seems like no matter which parts you take away from Jaxson Dart’s offense, he still finds a way to score points and run for touchdowns himself.

He did it last week in a 34-24 losing effort to the 49ers where Dart was his team’s leading rusher. But he could exploit a middling Chicago defense that gave up 42 points to the Bengals last week.

Unfortunately, the Giants are playing poor defense and could easily get ripped apart by Ben Johnson’s creative offense. Caleb Williams isn’t having a great year but his best games were against the Cowboys and Bengals, two lousy defenses.

The Giants may be a cut above that, but they are still the defense that gave up 33 points in one quarter to Bo Nix and Denver. Both teams reaching 24 points wouldn’t be a shock at all, so we’re all over the over 47 on this matchup.

Expert Pick: Giants-Bears Over 47 (-110) at BetMGM

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Chargers -3)

These teams met in Pittsburgh last year, with the Steelers winning 20-10, a game where Justin Herbert left injured in the 3rd quarter.

The big problem facing Herbert this time is that he lost tackle Joe Alt to a season-ending ankle injury, and the on/off splits for Alt this year have been huge for this offense. Herbert is throwing a lot of picks and taking hits without his tackles.

That’s a great opportunity for T.J. Watt and company to build on last week’s domination of the Colts (6 takeaways) and manhandle the Chargers up front on the road. They have moved Jalen Ramsey to safety and that seemed to work against Indy much better offensive lines.

Aaron Rodgers is usually smart and protective with the ball, and he can make plays against this defense. The Steelers could still lose on a late field goal, but we’re confident in them covering the spread and having real value as an underdog winner in this matchup.

Expert Pick: Steelers +3 (-115) at BetMGM

For our NFL picks Week 10, our most anticipated game is Sunday night, where we like the Steelers to cover the spread and possibly even upset the Chargers in a low-scoring battle.

We also recommend the Colts will bounce back and cover the spread against Atlanta in Germany, and we like Jaxson Dart and the Bears offense to serve up the over 47 points in Chicago.
