We’re headed to Week 15 of the NFL season! The storylines are incredible. This week, the Buffalo Bills will take on the New England Patriots, hoping to get back in the race for the AFC East.
In addition, the Carolina Panthers are looking to prove they’re no fluke with a road game against the New Orleans Saints.
Plus, Matthew Stafford will take on his old team, the Detroit Lions, but in Los Angeles.
I viewed all the betting lines and checked out the NFL odds week 15.
NFL Odds Week 15 At-a-Glance
The pressure is mounting for many teams entering Week 15 of the NFL season. Who would’ve thought the Kansas City Chiefs would be 6-7 entering the final month of the regular season?
Below, I talked about the odds for some of the most essential games for Week 15.
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots (+1.5)
Sunday, December 14 – 1:00 PM ET
The New England Patriots have a two-game lead over the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East. But there are still enough games for the Bills to sneak in and win first place. They’ll have to win this weekend’s game to have a chance.
The Bills haven’t moved from being 1.5-point favorites; however, the total has increased from 48.5 to 50.5.
Anyway, the Bills have won three of their last four games. The defense has just been spotty, especially in coverage. Plus, the missed tackles have piled up throughout the season.
Drake Maye and the Patriots’ offense might need to put up more than 27 points in this one. However, they’re coming off a 33-point game against the Giants and have scored at least 26 points in each of their last five games. The offense should be able to do enough to escape the Bills at home.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Seattle Seahawks (-11.5)
Sunday, December 14 – 4:25 PM ET
The Indianapolis Colts are likely going nowhere without Daniel Jones. They’re stuck with Riley Leonard at quarterback after Jones went down with an Achilles tear.
After those news, the Seahawks went from -3.5 at opening to -11.5.
Indianapolis will try to control the clock and run with Jonathan Taylor. But the Seahawks have been one of the best defenses in the NFL this year and will be able to sniff out the runs. If Seattle can force third-and-long situations, they’ll likely force some turnovers and make the Colts pay.
The reality is that the Colts played a more manageable schedule to start the season. It got much harder in the second half, and now the Colts have lost three straight games. With Leonard under center, there’s no way I’d back the Colts.
Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams (-5.5)
Sunday, December 14 – 4:25 PM ET
The Los Angeles Rams responded in a big way last weekend after previously losing to the Carolina Panthers. The Rams scored 45 points on the road over the Cardinals in a 45-17 victory.
Now they’ll take on a Lions team that has been trading wins over the last month. Ultimately, the Lions would be in line to lose against the Rams this weekend if that trend continues.
In fact, the Rams have gone from -4.5 to -5.5 against the spread, and the total has jumped from 50.5 to 54.5. Many bettors expect the Rams’ offense to continue its dominance.
Matthew Stafford has never won an MVP, but he’s got a chance this season. Look for him to continue his dominant play.
