Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals
Sunday, November 26, 2023 – 04:05 PM ET at State Farm Stadium
James Conner (Arizona Cardinals)
Part of what made Arizona’s offense surprisingly effective early on this season was James Conner rushing for 72.8 yards per game and averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Then Conner was injured early against the Bengals and missed the next month.
Conner returned 2 games ago and has rushed for 73 yards against Atlanta and 62 yards against Houston. Kyler Murray also returned in that time and has stolen a little of Conner’s thunder in the backfield as Murray is a capable scrambler.
But for the Cardinals to do well in this game, they need Conner to produce. Going back to last year, he has rushed for over 64.5 yards in 7 of his last 12 games.
Conner had 69 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns in his last meeting against the Rams last year. This year, the Rams rank in a mediocre range in almost every defensive category. The Rams are 22nd against the run and 18th in yards per carry allowed.
Conner and Murray missed the meeting with the Rams earlier this season. The Cardinals used a trio of backs that produced 20 carries for 87 yards. If Conner can get the lion’s share of that production on his own, he’ll clear his over.
The Pick
Honestly, the biggest concern in betting on Conner is that he gets injured. But that has only happened to him once so far this season. He has looked good when he’s been active, and his home numbers have been even better.
The Rams are not good enough to score a lot of points to take the run away from Arizona, so look for Conner to grind out another good day on the ground for over 64.5 yards.

Cleveland Browns vs. Denver Broncos
Sunday, November 26, 2023 – 04:05 PM ET at Empower Field at Mile High
David Njoku (Cleveland Browns)
You could say David Njoku had a disappointing game last week against the Steelers given that he turned 15 targets into 7 catches and 56 yards. He dropped some balls, but there were also some very inaccurate throws from Dorian Thompson-Robinson that no receiver could have caught.
But there is a positive to this too. The Browns showed no fear in letting DTR, a rookie, throw the ball 43 times in a low-scoring game. They had no problem with 15 targets going to the tight end Njoku, who should be easier to find than wide receiver Amari Cooper, who plays on the outside against the best corners.
Njoku has been productive with all 3 starting quarterbacks for the Browns this year. He seems to be the preferred target of DTR, and that is a very good thing for hitting overs on his prop picks.
The Pick
A tough matchup this week with the Denver secondary on the road, but let’s not act like these are the 2015 Broncos and the No-Fly Zone. Just last week, Joshua Dobbs of the Vikings found his 2 tight ends for 8 catches and over 90 receiving yards. The Browns rely heavily on Njoku and he has a solid chance to break another 40-yard game or better in this one as Cooper draws attention at wide receiver.
NFL Pick: David Njoku Over 38.5 Receiving Yards (-119) at Caesars Sportsbook
Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Sunday, November 26, 2023 – 04:25 PM ET at Lincoln Financial Field
A.J. Brown (Philadelphia Eagles)
Did you get burned by A.J. Brown’s dud last week in Kansas City? We had DeVonta Smith as the play to make there, but it was still surprising to see Brown held to 1 catch for 8 yards.
His previous season-worst game was 4 catches for 28 yards against the Vikings in Week 2. In every other game this season Brown’s had at least 6 catches and 66 yards. He had that record-setting streak of 6 consecutive games with 125 receiving yards.
But in a big game, you expect Brown to show up. After a down game, you expect Brown to bounce back. In a potential shootout with the Bills that should look much different from Monday night’s rainy slog in Kansas City, you expect Brown to deliver big.
Brown has 6 touchdowns this season, though 4 of them are against Washington, the 32nd-ranked scoring defense in 2023. The Bills have played respectable defense after suffering injuries, but without a corner like Tre’Davious White available, they lack a shut-down corner to take Brown out of the game. The Bills also had more injuries to their safeties last week.
The Pick
Not every Philadelphia is going to be a Jalen Hurts “Tush Push” from the 1-yard line. The Eagles did not have a big passing score last week, and they are still missing tight end Dallas Goedert as another weapon. DeVonta Smith is not a big touchdown scorer, so we think this is the spot for Brown to have a big game and make a touchdown for his offense.
NFL Pick: A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+110) at Caesars Sportsbook
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Sunday, November 26, 2023 – 04:25 PM ET at Allegiant Stadium
Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs)
We are back to the “sky is falling” for the Chiefs, who are still 7-3 and have largely cost themselves in every loss with dropped passes and turnovers. But there is no denying that this offense is not as good as the last 5 years under Patrick Mahomes. The lack of receiving talent behind Travis Kelce, who looks a step slower at 34, is the main culprit.
But what was something that looked really strong for the Chiefs on Monday night against the Eagles? Isiah Pacheco and the running game was working out. Pacheco had 89 yards, his 2nd-highest total of the season.
If the Chiefs want to take the Raiders as a “get-right game” for the offense, then one way to look over the problems with drops and the receivers is to run it down their throat with maybe the hardest runner in the game right now. Pacheco is relentless.
The Pick
Pacheco had 8 carries for 64 yards in the season finale against the Raiders last year. It was a game where the Chiefs were up 31-6 in the 4th quarter, and Pacheco did not touch the ball on the final 2 drives.
The Raiders this year rank 27th on run defense. They are unlikely to score many points against Kansas City’s great defense, so there should be a steady dose of Pacheco in this game rather than a 350-yard passing game for Mahomes. We’ll take the runner to go over.
NFL Pick: Isiah Pacheco Over 66.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at BetRivers (check our BetRivers Review)
Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Sunday, November 26, 2023 – 08:20 PM ET at SoFi Stadium
Gus Edwards (Baltimore Ravens)
Figuring out the running back rotation in Baltimore is usually difficult, but the injury to J.K. Dobbins has made things a little clearer this year. Gus Edwards has stepped up and he has scored 9 touchdowns in the last 5 games with at least a score in each game.
In fact, Baltimore has quietly scored at least 31 points in 5 straight games, making this one of the best scoring streaks in the Super Bowl era. Getting to play the Chargers next is a blessing, because we know Brandon Staley’s defense is bad, and Joey Bosa just suffered a serious injury last week. The Chargers have already allowed the Dolphins and Lions to come into their building and score at least 36 points this year, so this Baltimore streak may continue.
The Ravens also lost tight end Mark Andrews to a serious injury last week. He was one of the best red-zone targets for this team, so that gives a little more likelihood to Edwards getting his name called near the goal line for more touchdowns. His quarterback Lamar Jackson could always steal a score from him, but the Ravens have not been doing as much of that this year with Jackson. They trust Edwards and he has been delivering.
The Pick
Everyone expects an aerial show when an offense plays the Chargers this year, but look for Baltimore to stick to its identity and bring a heavy dose of runs. They will score multiple touchdowns in this game and you should include Edwards among your NFL picks for Week 12.
NFL Pick: Gus Edwards Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+120) at Caesars Sportsbook
