San Francisco’s Righties Should Go Off
The Chicago White Sox will give Davis Martin the ball for tonight’s game. He’s a righty who has struggled more against righties over the last month.
Martin has allowed a .188 ISO and wOBA of .350 to his last 37 righties. He’s also allowed 28% of line drives with only 18.9% of strikeouts.
San Francisco has some big-time right-handed bats, including Tyler Fitzgerald and Matt Chapman, who can take advantage.
White Sox Stink Against Lefties
Robbie Ray will get another start with the Giants. While he’s allowed a .270 ISO and wOBA of .367 to his last 92 batters, he’s also struck out 32.6% of batters.
Ultimately, the White Sox will strike out at a high rate. They’re also not going to threaten Ray much. Over the last month, the lineup has hit a .036 ISO and wOBA of .185 against lefties.
