This week has been camp week in the WNBA. They’re playing games earlier in the day to accommodate large crowds of kids who come to watch.
The Minnesota Lynx will face off against the Los Angeles Sparks at 3:00 p.m. ET, while the Washington Mystics will play their typically scheduled game at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Las Vegas Aces.
I’ve got a couple of best bets with best value at the WNBA odds boards for today’s games.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Los Angeles Sparks

The Los Angeles Sparks are 0-3 against the Minnesota Lynx this year. Today’s game will be the fourth and final regular-season game between these two teams.
In the last two games, Dearica Hamby has finished with no more than 13 points. However, her point total is currently at 15.5 for today’s game. Hamby has been great as of late, but doesn’t have the best matchup against the Lynx tonight. That’s why her under 15.5 points is the best play in this game.
It’s Never Easy Against The Lynx!
Dearica Hamby has scored at least 18 points in three straight games. In those three games, she’s attempted at least 11 shots per game and has shot 55.5% from the field over the last ten games.
Still, she’s only added 10 and 13 points in her last two games against the Lynx.
Minnesota ranks third in the WNBA in points allowed to power forwards this season. The Lynx also rank first in the WNBA in points allowed this season overall.
It’s unlikely Hamby gets as much volume as she’s gotten lately. It’s also likely her field goal percentage will dip. In her last 15 games against the Lynx, Hamby has shot 57.3%, but she’s shot below that in each of her previous three games against the Lynx.
If the Lynx do a good job keeping Hamby off the offensive glass, they’ll keep Hamby below 16 points today.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Washington Mystics

The Washington Mystics stunned the Las Vegas Aces in their most recent head-to-head meeting with a 94-83 win. Ultimately, the Mystics have given the Aces all they can handle in their first two meetings, despite going 1-1 in those regular-season games.
You’d like to think the Mystics will put even more pressure on the Aces tonight, after the Aces fell back below .500 with a loss to the Liberty.
That said, Jackie Young of the Aces has recorded at least five assists in only 42% of games this season. Yet, her assists prop is still at 4.5, with the under at just -104. It’s best to fade Young in this spot and take her under.
The Aces Don’t Score That Much Anymore
The Las Vegas Aces have been super underwhelming throughout the season. At 9-10, they’re the most disappointing team in the WNBA this season.
It starts with Jackie Young, who really isn’t putting up a high rate of assists this year. She’s managed to average just 3.8 assists per game this season. In addition, she’s recorded at least five assists in only three of 11 games against the Mystics.
In her most recent game, Young finished with only three asists against the Liberty. She’s also hit this line in just one of her last three games, including only one assist against the Fever back on July 3.
Beyond that, the Mystics rank No. 1 in the WNBA in assists allowed to shooting guards this season. They’re also fourth overall in assists allowed this season. It’s never easy to score on the Mystics, who are actually overperforming this season.
The Mystics are a scrappy bunch, while the Aces are falling apart. I’ll trust the Washington defense and take Jackie Young to add below 4.5 assists tonight at -104 odds.
