Connecticut Sun vs. Los Angeles Sparks

Sunday, July 13, 2025 – 6:00 PM EDT at Crypto.com Arena

The Connecticut Sun will battle the Los Angeles Sparks at 6:00 pm ET today. The Sun has won just three games throughout the entire season. However, they won the last one on July 9. Still, Connecticut’s most recent game was a 79-65 loss to Seattle on the road.

They’ll still be on the road with a matchup against the Sparks. The Sparks aren’t much better, with six wins this season. Still, Los Angeles has won two of their last five games, so there are some improvements overall.

Despite the spread at -11.5 for the Sparks, don’t be surprised if this is a competitive game between two teams that aren’t very good.

Tina Charles has scored 20+ points for the Sun in back-to-back games. Yet, her points prop is stuck at 15.5 points. This is a play you’ll want to consider for tonight.

Tina Charles Has Potential

Tina Charles has added 49 points in her last two games combined. She’s scored 20+ points in both games and has earned about 35 minutes in each of those previous two games.

Charles has been much more aggressive as of late. She’s recorded 14 fouls drawn over the last two games and has made 17 of her previous 18 foul shots over that span.

Beyond that, Charles has attempted at least 18 shots in each of her last two games. She didn’t shoot as well against Seattle last time out, but she’s hit at least 42% in two of her previous three games.

Meanwhile, Charles will battle a Sparks squad that ranks dead last in points per game allowed to centers.

As a matter of fact, Charles has scored at least 18 points in each of her last five games against the Sparks in her career. If the volume stays the same for Charles, she should be able to reach at least 16 points.

WNBA Pick: Tina Charles Over 15.5 Points (-108) at Caesars Sportsbook

Washington Mystics vs. Seattle Storm

Sunday, July 13, 2025 – 6:00 PM EDT at Climate Pledge Arena

The Washington Mystics are on a two-game winning streak entering tonight’s game. They’re now back to .500 and could get above .500 with a win tonight. Meanwhile, they’re facing a Seattle Storm squad that is 13-8 on the season. The Storm have won three of their last four games thanks to terrific defense.

Ezi Magbegor of Seattle has scored at least nine points in three consecutive games. But this game figures to be a lower-scoring matchup. Magbegor doesn’t have a great matchup on paper, either. Now might be the best time to fade Magbegor and take her under.

It’s Time To Fade Magbegor

Ezi Magbegor has consistently scored at least 13 points in three straight games. Yet, she’s still managed to score nine points or more in just 43% of games this season.

She’s had more success recently. However, she’s still not getting to the foul line overly consistently. She’s just hit at least 60% from the field in three straight games. That likely won’t continue against the Mystics.

Washington has held power forwards to the second-lowest points per game this season. The Mystics also rank No. 1 in the WNBA in rebounds allowed to power forwards. Ultimately, Magbegor will struggle to find good looks and likely won’t be much of an asset on the offensive glass for the Storm in tonight’s game, either.

Before her three-game streak of 13+ points, she earned just five against Atlanta and scored two points against Golden State. She’s had five games with no more than six points in her last ten games.

While Magbegor has had recent success against the Mystics, Washington’s defense has improved drastically this season compared to previous seasons. Don’t fall for the trap. Let’s take Magbegor to add below 8.5 points in tonight’s showdown.

WNBA Pick: Ezi Magbegor Under 8.5 Points (-114) at Caesars Sportsbook
