Minnesota Have Battened Down the Hatches

The Wild have taken control of a very inconsistent Central division and have started getting hot towards the end of the season, can they bring this form into the playoffs?

Avalanche Finishing Strong
Colorado are pushing for a strong finish to the season in hopes of retaining their Stanley Cup having now gone 8-2 over their previous 10 games.
The current cup holders had been lingering outside the top four in the Western Conference for much of the season but are now within one win of jumping into 3rd in the Conference and first in the Central division.
Colorado allow only 2.74 goals per game, which is ranked as the 7th best this season, making up for the lack of offense which sees them having just the 15th-best overall. On the flip side, their offense has the 4th best powerplay whilst defensively they have the 15th-best penalty kill.
Aimless Ducks Continue to Lose
With nothing left to play for this season, Anaheim have all but downed tools, having now lost 8 of their previous 10 games. Although their overall record now sits at a very poor 23-40-10, they had a small resurgence a few weeks back where they won 5 out of 6 games and scored a point in all six games having lost one in overtime.
