He was Atlanta's No. 9 hitter for much of the season, though, making 88 starts there (he didn't start in any other spot more than 13 times). Harris batted .301/.334/.494 out of the nine hole during the regular season.

Homers twice in twin billing
Harris went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Phillies in the second game of a doubleheader.
ANALYSIS
After going 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's matinee, Harris added two more hits and a solo blast off left-hander Gregory Soto in the nightcap. The 22-year-old Harris has been on a tear, hitting safely in 14 of his last 15 games, going 22-for-59 (.373) with four homers and a 1.038 OPS in that span. After a very slow start to the season, Harris' slash line is now up to .295/.337/.477 with 16 homers, 68 runs scored, 50 RBI and 20 stolen bases across 467 plate appearances.

The outfielder has gone 11-for-47 (.234) since Aug. 12, though he's had a pair of big games in that span. Back in lineup Monday
Harris (foot) will play center field and bat second Monday versus the Mets in his return to the lineup.
ANALYSIS
Harris had to be scratched from Sunday's game against the Giants due to a bruised right foot, but X-rays came back clean and he'll wind up missing just one start. The young outfielder has assumed the second spot in Atlanta's batting order since Ozzie Albies (hamstring) went down.

Aug 20, 2023
X-rays negative
Harris (foot) underwent X-rays that came back negative Sunday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris was scratched from Sunday's lineup due to a right foot contusion, and he doesn't appear to be dealing with any structural damage after undergoing further testing. It's unclear whether he'll be available for Monday's series opener against the Mets, but he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of the matchup.
Aug 20, 2023
Scratched with foot contusion
Harris was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants due to a right foot contusion.
ANALYSIS
Kevin Pillar will bat seventh and man center field in place of Harris, who is considered day-to-day after fouling a ball off his foot in Saturday's 6-5 win, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Atlanta will begin a six-game week Monday, so fantasy managers in weekly leagues will want to verify Harris' availability -- or lack thereof -- when the team releases its lineup prior to the 7:20 p.m. ET start time for the series opener with the Mets.
Aug 19, 2023
Four hits in Friday's win
Harris went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, a stolen base, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's 4-0 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
The move from ninth to second in the order in the wake of an injury to Ozzie Albies (hamstring) hasn't cooled down Harris' bat. The 2022 NL Rookie of the Year is slashing .369/.417/.554 through 17 games in August with two homers, four steals, nine RBI and 15 runs.
Aug 15, 2023
Batting second again Tuesday
Harris will bat second again Tuesday against the Yankees.
ANALYSIS
Harris has officially moved into the No. 2 spot in Atlanta's lineup with Ozzie Albies (hamstring) now sitting on the 10-day injured list. The 22-year-old center fielder carries a .288/.339/.455 batting line with 11 homers and 16 steals through 96 games this season for the runaway NL East leaders.
Aug 10, 2023
Swipes 14th bag
Harris went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Pirates.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta's nine-hole hitter racked up his third straight multi-hit performance and fifth in eight August contests. Harris continues to erase his tough beginning to the campaign -- as late as June 11 he had a batting average below the Mendoza Line at .190, but since then he's slashed an incredible .380/.407/.620 over 47 games with eight homers, nine steals, 24 RBI and 33 runs.
Aug 2, 2023
Goes yard twice in win
Harris went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Angels.
ANALYSIS
He broke open a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth inning by taking Patrick Sandoval deep, the center fielder's first long ball in almost a month and the first homer the Angels hurler had served up to a left-handed hitter in nearly two years. Harris then drove a Jacob Webb sweeper to straightaway center in the seventh to cap the scoring for Atlanta. Despite the power outage, Harris has stayed productive since the beginning of July, slashing .304/.345/.544 in his last 24 games with four homers, four steals, eight RBI and 11 runs.
Jul 26, 2023
Strong effort in Tuesday's loss
Harris went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox.
ANALYSIS
The center fielder swiped his 13th bag of the year and also shone on defense, starting an incredibly rare 8-3-5 triple play in the third inning -- the first triple play in the majors this season. Harris has hit safely in nine of 10 games since the All-Star break, batting .406 (13-for-32) over that stretch, but he's currently stuck in a 15-game homer drought.
Jul 17, 2023
Swipes 12th bag
Harris went 2-for-4 with his 12th stolen base of the season in Sunday's loss to the White Sox.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta's offense got stymied by Dylan Cease and the Chicago bullpen, but Harris still found a way to be productive. The 22-year-old has cooled off a bit in July, batting .243 (9-for-37) over his last 11 games, but he's still added two homers, three steals, five RBI and six runs to his ledger during that stretch.
Jul 4, 2023
Launches two long balls in win
Harris went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs in a 4-2 victory versus Cleveland on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Harris tagged rookie hurler Gavin Williams for a pair of solo shots to help carry Atlanta to the win. It was Harris' first multi-homer game of the season and boosted his total to nine long balls on the campaign. Harris continues to turn things around after a brutal start to the season -- since June 7, he's batting .416 with seven homers, 16 RBI and five thefts over 23 games.
Jul 3, 2023
Steals bag No. 10
Harris went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Marlins.
ANALYSIS
The steal was his 10th of the season, and fifth since June 12. Harris was ice cold at the plate to begin the year but the 22-year-old has caught fire over the last month, slashing .407/.416/.674 in his last 23 contests with 12 extra-base hits (six doubles, a triple and five homers).
Jun 29, 2023
Swipes another bag
Harris went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Twins.
ANALYSIS
It's the fourth multi-hit performance in the last nine games for Harris, as the 22-year-old continues his remarkable turnaround after a brutal start to the season. The center fielder held a .490 OPS on June 6 -- in 20 games since, he's slashing .434/.443/.737 with five homers, four steals, 14 RBI and 15 runs.
Jun 28, 2023
Swats seventh homer
Harris went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Twins.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta homered five times in its first 10 plate appearances Tuesday off Joe Ryan, with Harris launching his with one out in the second inning. The 22-year-old outfielder has completely shaken off his early-season struggles in June, and over his last 19 games Harris slashing an eye-popping .425/.434/.740 with five of his seven homers and 14 of his 22 RBI on the year.
Jun 23, 2023
Keeps raking Thursday
Harris went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's extra-inning win over the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old continues to be one of the hottest hitters in the majors. Harris has hit safely in 12 of the last 14 games with six multi-hit performances, slashing .463/.464/.778 over that stretch with five doubles, four homers, three steals, 11 runs and 13 RBI. Since his surge began, his OPS on the season has risen from .490 to .716.
Jun 18, 2023
Five hits, homer in win
Harris went 5-for-5 with a double, a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 14-6 victory over Colorado.
ANALYSIS
It's another stellar performance from Harris as he's continued to put his early-season struggles behind him. The 22-year-old outfielder has gone 22-for-46 (.478) over his last 12 games with four home runs and 12 RBI. Harris is now slashing .249/.306/.402 with six homers, 23 runs scored, 20 RBI and seven stolen bases through 186 plate appearances this season,
Jun 15, 2023
Huge performance in matinee
Harris went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, a stolen base, three runs scored and four RBI during a 10-7 win over the Tigers in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
ANALYSIS
While he followed up that effort with an 0-for-4 showing in the nightcap, it was still another sign that Harris has finally shaken out of the slump that he's been in since returning from the injured list in late April. Over his last eight games, the 22-year-old has gone 14-for-31 (.452) with four multi-hit performances, three doubles, three home runs, two steals, seven runs and eight RBI.
Jun 12, 2023
Goes deep, swipes bag
Harris went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Tigers.
ANALYSIS
Harris ripped a solo shot in the eighth inning and also stole his sixth base of the year. After posting a dreadful .490 OPS through 38 games, he's improved his season line to .205/.278/.329 with a hot week. Over his last six games, Harris has gone 10-for-23 (.435) with four extra-base hits.
Jun 8, 2023
Explodes for big game in win
Harris went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, a walk, two total runs and three total RBI in a 7-5 victory versus the Mets on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
It's been a struggle in 2023 for Harris, but for one night at least he looked every bit the dynamic player that won NL Rookie of the Year honors last season. Harris was instrumental Wednesday in leading Atlanta to a comeback win, doubling home a run to tie the score in the sixth inning and producing the game-winning runs with a two-run shot to center field in the eighth. This was just his third multi-hit game of the season, and the three RBI were the most he's logged in a contest so far this year. Harris had been mired in a 3-for-29, 12-strikeout stretch coming into the game, and he's still slashing a paltry .181/.261/.291 overall.
May 29, 2023
Crosses plate three times Sunday
Harris went 1-for-4 with three runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
It was an odd box score line, but the 22-year-old outfielder was hit by a pitch and reached on a fielder's choice in addition to a fifth-inning single, and he came around to score each time. Harris' numbers on the season remain rough, but he's teased a breakout over the last week and is finding ways to contribute -- Sunday's steal was his fifth of the year and first since May 10.
May 27, 2023
Launches second homer
Harris went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
His fifth-inning shot off Taijuan Walker gave Atlanta its only lead of the game. Harris is beginning to show signs of breaking out of his prolonged slump, but in 22 games since returning from the injured list he's still slashing only .169/.250/.296 with both his homers and two of his four steals on the season.
May 23, 2023
Out of lineup Tuesday
Harris is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.
ANALYSIS
Sam Hilliard will cover center field and bat ninth versus Bobby Miller, who is making his MLB debut for Los Angeles. Harris has fought multiple injuries this season and has slashed just .163/.242/.244 in 26 games (95 plate appearances) when healthy.
May 10, 2023
Registers fourth steal
Harris went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Sox.
ANALYSIS
The steal was Harris' second in the last three games and his fourth of the season. The reigning NL Rookie of the Year has gone 6-for-28 (.214) across nine contests since he returned from a back injury that cost him three weeks in April. He's at a .216/.310/.333 slash line with one home run, four RBI, seven runs scored and four steals through 16 games this season.
May 8, 2023
Drives in winner Sunday
Harris went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 3-2 win over Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Harris stole his third base of the year after drawing a walk in the 10th inning before eventually ending the game in the 12th, driving in Ozzie Albies with a walk-off double. Harris has been hampered by injuries early this season -- he's now 5-for-22 with two doubles and a home run since returning from a back injury that kept him sidelined for just under a month. Overall, the reigning NL Rookie of the Year is slashing .222/.314/.356 with four extra-base hits, seven runs scored and four RBI through his first 51 plate appearances this season.
May 6, 2023
Back in action
Harris (knee) will bat eighth and play center field Saturday against the Orioles.
ANALYSIS
Harris had missed the last two days with a jammed right knee, costing him a bit more time after back troubles had already robbed him of three weeks in April. He's hit an unremarkable .237/.310/.368 when available, though that comes in a tiny sample of 12 games.
May 5, 2023
Remains out of lineup
Harris (knee) is not in the starting lineup Friday against Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Harris will sit for the second straight game Friday as he nurses a sore right knee, which he jammed Wednesday versus Miami. The outfielder was available off the bench Thursday, so he should be expected to be back in the lineup sooner rather than later. Sam Hilliard will draw the start in center field and bat eighth in Atlanta's series opener with the Orioles.
May 4, 2023
Available off bench Thursday
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Harris (knee) will be available off the bench Thursday in Miami, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris is out of the starting lineup after jamming his right knee Wednesday, but it's not a serious injury. Snitker noted that the young center fielder was due for some rest anyway as he works into form following a lower back strain that cost him much of April. He should be a full-go for Atlanta's three-game weekend series against the Orioles.
May 4, 2023
Out of lineup Thursday
Harris (knee) is out of the lineup Thursday against the Marlins, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris is expected to avoid the IL after jamming his right knee Wednesday, but he'll get the day off Thursday and might still be iffy leading into Friday's series opener versus the Orioles. Kevin Pillar is in center field and batting ninth for Atlanta on Thursday afternoon at Miami.
May 3, 2023
Will avoid injured list
Harris won't be placed on the injured list after jamming his right knee Wednesday, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Although he won't land back on the IL immediately after returning from a back injury Friday, Harris will miss at least one game so that his knee can heal. Sam Hilliard figures to serve as Atlanta's center fielder while Harris is out.
May 3, 2023
Jams right knee
Harris was removed from Wednesday's game against Miami as a precaution after jamming his right knee.
ANALYSIS
Harris will likely undergo further testing to make sure no serious damage was done, but it seems the 22-year-old outfielder has avoided the worst. If Harris is forced to miss some time, Sam Hilliard will likely fill in as Atlanta's replacement center fielder.
May 3, 2023
Exits early with injury
Harris was pulled from Wednesday's game against the Marlins with an apparent knee injury, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris took an awkward tumble after running to first base trying to beat out a ground ball. He came up grabbing at his right knee, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Atlanta will take a look at him and should provide an update relatively soon.
May 1, 2023
Sitting for back half of twin bill
Harris is not in the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Mets.
ANALYSIS
Sam Hilliard takes over in center field, batting seventh against right-hander Tylor Megill. Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk in the matinee. It was just his second game back from the injured list after missing three weeks with a back strain.
Apr 28, 2023
Returns from injured list
Harris was activated from the 10-day injured list by Atlanta on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Harris needed just two rehab games with Triple-A Gwinnett, going 1-for-7 with a stolen base. The star outfielder has been on the shelf since early April with a lower-back strain but is ready to roll for his team's big weekend series in New York against the Mets.
Apr 25, 2023
Starts rehab assignment Wednesday
Harris (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It has yet to be determined how many games Harris will spend with the Stripers, but has been previously reported that the outfielder is expected to rejoin Atlanta for their series against the Mets. The outfielder has been out of action since the early part of April with a strained lower back, but assuming there are no setbacks in his time in the International League, Harris should be patrolling center field as an everyday option for the Atlanta in the next couple of days.
Apr 24, 2023
Likely to return this week
Harris (back) has been cleared to start a rehab assignment and is expected to be activated in time for Atlanta's weekend series against the Mets, if not sooner, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not clear when and where exactly the rehab assignment will take place, but Harris was cleared for game action after getting through a workout at Truist Park on Monday. The reigning National League Rookie of the year has been on the shelf since early April with a lower-back strain, but it sounds like he'll be patrolling center field for Atlanta again soon enough.
Apr 24, 2023
Sprints, takes live BP
Harris (back) did some sprinting and took live batting practice Monday at Truist Park, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris came out of the workout with no issues, so the start of a rehab assignment would seem to be imminent. The talented young outfielder has been on the shelf since early April with a lower-back strain.
Apr 22, 2023
Participates in BP
Harris took part in batting practice before Saturday's game against the Astros, Justin Toscano of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris has been able to hit off the tee since being played on the injured list with a lower back strain, but this is the first time the outfielder has been able to participate in an actual BP. The talented 22-year-old will likely need at least a week of rehab games because he's been out of action so far, but he should be able to patrol the outfield for Atlanta around the start of May.
Apr 21, 2023
Still not cleared for live BP
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Friday that Harris (back) still hasn't been cleared to take batting practice, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris has been on the injured list since April 7 with a lower back strain and it will remain difficult to map out a timetable for his return until he resumes taking swings against live pitching. He seems unlikely to be activated before the end of the month, unless things change in a hurry. Sam Hilliard and Eli White have been commanding most of the starts in center field for Atlanta over the last two weeks.
Apr 19, 2023
Homestand return uncertain
When asking Wednesday whether Harris (back) would be ready to return during the Braves' April 21-27 homestand, manager Brian Snitker said he did not know, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
It was initially expected to be a short absence for Harris when he was placed on the injured list with a lower-back strain on April 7. However, he hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped and it's unclear when he might be allowed to resume full baseball activities. His return date is uncertain.
Apr 18, 2023
Yet to take batting practice
Despite Harris (back) saying Saturday he would take batting practice in a coming days, he still hasn't progressed to hitting in the cage, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "Same place he's been," Braves manager Brian Snitker said. "Just rehabbing. It's not there yet."
ANALYSIS
Harris suffered a lower-back strain earlier this month and has not progressed as quickly as hoped. He was initially thought to miss a minimum ten days, but now a timetable for his return isn't clear.
Apr 15, 2023
Not yet cleared for live BP
Harris (back) had yet to be cleared to take live batting practice as of Saturday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Which means that Harris is not going to be activated from the injured list when first eligible Monday. Harris suffered a lower-back strain earlier this month and has not progressed as quickly as hoped. Sam Hilliard is drawing most of the starts in center field in his absence, though Eli White is out there for Atlanta on Saturday against the Royals.
Apr 7, 2023
Expecting short IL stint
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker indicated Friday that Harris (back) should be able to return from the 10-day IL when first eligible, Justin Toscano of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris was placed on the injured list Friday afternoon with a lower back strain, but Snitker told reporters after the move that the dynamic young center fielder should only really be sidelined for four or five days. He can be activated as early as April 17. Sam Hilliard is covering center for Atlanta on Friday night against the Padres. Eli White and Ronald Acuna could mix in there too.
Apr 7, 2023
Placed on 10-day IL
Harris (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday.
ANALYSIS
Harris slammed into the outfield wall last night versus the Padres and picked a lower back strain, which will now sideline him for at least 10 days. The outfielder was originally considered day-to-day by manager Brian Snitker, so at least the injury is likely considered relatively minor. Eli White was called up from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday to replace Harris on the major-league roster.
Apr 6, 2023
Minor injury confirmed
Harris is considered day-to-day after banging his back on the outfield wall in Thursday's game against the Padres, Jeff Schultz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris was pulled in the fourth inning of the game, though Atlanta quickly announced the move was made out of precaution. It was originally speculated that he injured his back on a stolen base attempt in the second inning, though that turned out to not be the case. Most importantly, it appears that Harris should be able to re-enter the lineup in short order.
Apr 6, 2023
Exits as precaution
Harris exited Thursday's game with lower back tightness.
ANALYSIS
Harris was pulled in the fourth inning from the matchup against the Padres, though the team deemed his exit precautionary. Assuming further evaluation reveals nothing more serious, Harris should have a chance to return at some point during Atlanta's weekend series against San Diego. Sam Hilliard took over in center field in Harris' place.
Apr 6, 2023
Exits Thursday's game
Harris exited Thursday's game against the Padres in the fourth inning, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear why Harris was pulled, though he did get up slowly after sliding into second base earlier in the game. Sam Hilliard took over for him in center field.
Apr 5, 2023
Steals first bag of 2023
Harris went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old outfielder stole 20 bases in 22 attempts for Atlanta in only 114 games en route to the NL Rookie of the Year Award, and it took six games for Harris to open his account in that category in 2023. He's had a quiet start overall, batting .227 (5-for-22) with his only extra-base hit being a double, but his 2:5 BB:K doesn't suggest he's struggling. It's only a matter of time before hits start falling in for Harris more frequently.
Mar 25, 2023
Back in starting lineup
Harris (back) will start in center field and bat fifth in Saturday's split-squad game against the Twins.
ANALYSIS
Back tightness resulted in Harris being scratched from Friday's game, but Atlanta said all along that it was a precautionary measure. Harris will be with the regulars at home in North Port, Florida, starting behind Max Fried in what looks like a dress rehearsal for Opening Day. Harris is 9-for-38 with two home runs and two stolen bases so far this spring.
Mar 24, 2023
Expected to return Saturday
Harris (back) is expected to return to Grapefruit League action Saturday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris was scratched from Atlanta's lineup Friday against Boston because of back tightness, but it doesn't seem to be much of a concern. He should be in center field for the reigning NL East champs on Opening Day next Thursday.
Mar 24, 2023
Scratched with back tightness
Harris was scratched from Atlanta's spring training game against Boston on Friday due to back tightness, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
He was reportedly removed from the lineup as a precaution, and the issue doesn't seem to be of very high concern. While he sits, Sam Hilliard will take his spot in center field.
Mar 5, 2023
Pops first spring homer
Harris went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Orioles.
ANALYSIS
Hitting third in the order, the young center fielder ripped a Tyler Wells offering down the right-field line in the first inning for his first homer of the spring. Harris is 4-for-10 to begin his spring, and the 2022 NL Rookie of the Year has his sights set on a huge fantasy season after coming just one home run short of a 20-20 campaign last year despite only playing in 114 games for Atlanta.
Nov 14, 2022
Earns NL Rookie of the Year
Harris was named the Jackie Robinson National League Rookie of the Year on Monday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
ANALYSIS
Harris received 22 first-place votes and eight second-place votes, as his only real competition was teammate Spencer Strider, who ended up with eight first-place votes. There's no doubt as to why Harris won this year's award, slashing .297/.339/.514 with 19 home runs, 64 RBI, 20 stolen bases (in 22 attempts) and 75 runs scored over 114 contests.
Oct 5, 2022
Retreats to bench Wednesday
Harris isn't starting Wednesday against the Marlins.
ANALYSIS
Harris will get a breather for Wednesday's regular-season finale after he went 1-for-13 with two walks and five strikeouts over the last four games. Guillermo Heredia is taking over in center field and batting eighth.

Collects steal No. 20
Harris went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 8-0 win over the Nationals.
ANALYSIS
The rookie is up to 20 steals on the season, with four of them coming in the last eight games. Harris is now just one home run away from joining the 20-20 club. a feat accomplished by only five other players in their first year in the majors -- although remarkably, two of them (Julio Rodriguez and Bobby Witt) also did it this season.
Sep 26, 2022
Swipes 19th bag
Harris went 1-for-4 with two walks, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-innings win over the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
Batting second with Ronald Acuna (back) still not ready to start, Harris wasted no time making an impact on the game, drawing a walk and swiping his 19th base of the year in the first inning. The rookie was caught stealing later in the game, but it's just the second time since his promotion to the majors he's been thrown out on a stolen base attempt. Harris hasn't slowed down at the plate in September, slashing .333/.356/.607 through 87 plate appearances with six homers, three steals, 17 runs and 17 RBI.
Sep 25, 2022
Homers in three-hit game
Harris went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in a 6-3 win over the Phillies on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Harris continued his superb rookie campaign with a two-run home run that helped power his team to victory in an important divisional matchup. Harris has five home runs in the month of September and boasts an excellent slash line of .306/.344/.538 in 379 at-bats this season. Despite only making his debut towards the end of May, Harris has a Baseball-Reference WAR of 5.1.
Sep 11, 2022
Blasts two home runs
Harris went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in an 8-7 loss to Seattle on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Harris ignited Atlanta's five-run comeback with a solo shot to lead off the eighth inning and a three-run home run in the ninth for his third home run in his last three games. Despite snapping a 15-game hit streak Saturday, the 21-year-old rookie has enjoyed a torrid September that features a .429/.429/.914 slash line with five long balls in 35 at-bats.
Sep 7, 2022
Builds hit streak to 13
Harris went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run in Tuesday's 10-9 win over the Athletics.
ANALYSIS

During the streak, Harris has generated a .447 average while slugging three home runs, driving in 10 and scoring 11 times. He'll remain in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, batting seventh while manning center field.

Launches homer No. 15
Harris went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-1 win over the Marlins.
ANALYSIS
His two-run blast with nobody out in the sixth inning chased Sandy Alcantara from the game. Harris has hit safely in 10 straight games and homered in two straight, and the 21-year-old phenom is slashing an astonishing .301/.346/.533 with 15 home runs, 16 stolen bases, 48 RBI and 58 runs in only 86 contests for Atlanta.
Sep 2, 2022
Continues scorching stretch
Harris went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Thursday in a 3-0 win against the Rockies.
ANALYSIS
Harris slugged a 437-foot homer in the fifth inning to give Atlanta a 2-0 lead. The long ball extended his hitting streak to nine games, during which he is slashing .433/.528/.800 with two homers, five doubles, five RBI and a stolen base. Harris has been a tremendous fantasy asset during his rookie campaign, posting a .298/.344/.523 slash line with 14 home runs, 46 RBI and 16 thefts over 85 contests.
Aug 28, 2022
Four hits in Sunday's loss
Harris went 4-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Harris was productive, but the rest of Atlanta's offense struggled to string anything together against Adam Wainwright until the seventh inning. Over his last 17 games, Harris has gone 20-for-60 (.333) with three home runs, 10 doubles, 11 RBI, 16 runs scored and three stolen bases. The rookie outfielder continues to impress with a .298/.343/.517 slash line, 13 home runs, 45 RBI, 55 runs scored, 15 steals and 21 doubles through 82 contests. Even better -- he's yet to go more than three games in a row without a hit.
Aug 22, 2022
Carries Atlanta with two-run blast
Harris went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run and two walks in Monday's 2-1 win over the Pirates.
ANALYSIS
The Rookie of the Year candidate broke the game open with a two-run home run in the fifth inning, which proved to be all Atlanta needed to win the game. The long ball is Harris' 13th on the season, good for second among NL rookies this season. He also showed off his plate discipline, as his two walks two walks improved his OBP to .328.
Aug 16, 2022
Inks eight-year extension
Atlanta signed Harris to an eight-year, $72 million contract extension on Tuesday which includes a $15 million club option for 2031 and a $20 million club option for 2032.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old, who went 0-for-4 with a strikeout during Tuesday's win over the Mets, was promoted for his big-league debut in late May, and he has a .292/.330/.508 slash line with 12 home runs, 39 RBI and 13 stolen bases through his first 70 games in the majors. Atlanta wasted little time in offering an extension and continued the trend of securing their young talent long before free agency, and Harris is now under team control for the next decade.
Aug 14, 2022
Homers, doubles in win
Harris went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Harris doubled in the seventh inning before belting a game-tying shot to lead off the ninth. The star rookie improved his slash line to .293/.331/.512 with 28 extra-base hits and 44 runs scored through 69 games. He's gone 15-for-42 (.357) with three home runs and three steals in 13 appearances this month.
Aug 4, 2022
Swipes bag Thursday
Harris (foot) went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Mets.
ANALYSIS
Harris provided RBI singles in the fifth and seventh innings, and he added a steal during his second trip on the bases. The 21-year-old missed a game after he was hit by a pitch on the foot Tuesday, but it wasn't expected to be a long-term issue. This was his first multi-hit effort since July 26, as the rookie has cooled down at the plate a bit. Harris still has a strong .286/.324/.481 slash line with nine home runs, 12 steals, 32 RBI and 36 runs scored through 59 contests this year.
Aug 4, 2022
Returns to lineup
Harris (foot) is starting Thursday against the Mets.
ANALYSIS
Harris was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to a sore right foot, but he'll start in center field and bat ninth a day later. Over his last five games, he's gone 2-for-15 with three runs, a walk and six strikeouts.
Aug 3, 2022
Scratched from Wednesday's lineup
Harris was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Phillies due to right foot soreness.
ANALYSIS
Harris was hit by a pitch Tuesday against Philadelphia and will be held out of the lineup a day later. He should be considered day-to-day for now, while Guillermo Heredia will take his place in center field and bat ninth.
Jul 27, 2022
Swats ninth homer
Harris went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
Though he didn't receive a promotion to the big leagues from Double-A Mississippi until late May, Harris is rapidly closing in on becoming the 18th player this season to record double-digit home runs and stolen bases. He's already nabbed 11 steals -- in as many attempts -- through 201 plate appearances, and his third-inning blast Tuesday off Aaron Nola now bring him to nine home runs on the season. For all his success, Harris remains stuck at the bottom of the lineup, but the rookie will get his first look in the leadoff role in Wednesday's series finale while Ronald Acuna rests for the day game, according to Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Jul 26, 2022
Grabs 11th steal
Harris went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
The rookie extended his modest hitting streak to six games while swiping his 11th bag of the season. It looked like the league's pitchers might have figured Harris out prior to the All-Star break, as he went 2-for-24 with 11 strikeouts over the seven games prior to this streak, but the mini-surge has pushed his slash line back up to .287/.320/.484 through his first 52 big-league contests.
Jul 16, 2022
Swipes three bags
Harris went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run and three stolen bases in a 6-3 victory over Washington on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Harris singled and stole second in the fourth inning, walked, stole second and scored in the seventh and doubled and stole third in the ninth. The three times on base mark the fifth occasion in 47 games the rookie has done so, and he's one of only two players who's recorded double digit thefts with under 50 games played. Harris is slashing an impressive .284/.320/.503 with eight home runs, 30 runs and 26 RBI.
Jul 15, 2022
Launches eighth homer
Harris went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Nationals.
ANALYSIS
The rookie's fifth-inning blast off Anibal Sanchez gave Atlanta a lead it wouldn't relinquish. Harris has cooled off overall, batting only .192 (10-for-52) over his last 15 games, but he's still supplying plenty of fantasy value -- he's launched five of his eight big-league homers during that stretch with three steals, 10 runs and 11 RBI.
Jul 11, 2022
Swipes seventh bag
Harris went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Nationals.
ANALYSIS
The rookie had a relatively quiet day by the standards he's established early in his career, but he still found a way to contribute some fantasy value. Harris has slowed down a bit so far in July, batting .222 (8-for-38) through the first 10 games on the month, but he's still slugged three of his seven homers and stolen three of his seven bags on the year during that stretch.
Jul 9, 2022
Huge day against Nats
Harris went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 12-2 rout of the Nationals.
ANALYSIS
The rookie continues to hit ninth for Atlanta despite an electric start to his big-league career, but Harris is producing incredible fantasy value nonetheless. Through his first 39 games in the majors, the 21-year-old is slashing .310/.342/.542 with seven homers, six steals, 24 RBI and 28 runs, and all while playing Gold Glove-caliber defense in center field.
Jul 5, 2022
Swipes two bags
Harris went 1-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases in Tuesday's 7-1 win against the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Harris did all his damage in the third inning, when he singled, stole second and third and scored. The 21-year-old has slumped through the beginning of July -- going 2-for-16 in five games -- however he's been noticeably more active on the basepaths with four steals in his last nine games compared to two thefts in his first 27 appearances.
Jul 1, 2022
Pops fourth homer
Harris went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's loss to the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
The rookie took Aaron Nola deep in the fifth inning for his fourth homer in 31 games since his promotion, but Atlanta was already in a 12-1 hole at that point. Harris has hit safely in five straight games and 10 of the last 12, slashing a stunning .341/.356/.545 over that stretch with two home runs and two steals, and a 2.5 percent walk rate is just about the only blemish on his performance so far in the majors.
Jun 29, 2022
Posts steal in win
Harris went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies.
ANALYSIS
Harris singled in the last run of the game in the seventh inning and added a steal, his second in the last three contests. The rookie outfielder is 6-for-16 (.375) across his last four games, putting his slash line at .327/.351/.509 in 114 plate appearances overall. He's added four steals, three home runs, 15 RBI and 19 runs scored through his first 30 major-league games.
Jun 27, 2022
Registers third steal
Harris went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Dodgers.
ANALYSIS
Harris has six multi-hit efforts in his last 12 games, going 17-for-45 (.378) in that span. He's picked up five extra-base hits in that span, and he continues to display solid contact skills at the plate. The rookie outfielder is slashing .330/.355/.524 with three home runs, three steals, 14 RBI and 18 runs scored through 107 plate appearances. He's solidified a starting role in center field, but he's remained in the No. 9 spot in the order despite the hot bat over his first month in the big leagues.
Jun 21, 2022
Three hits in win
Harris went 3-for-3 with a triple in Monday's 2-1 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
The rookie continues to shine at the bottom of the order for Atlanta, as he's now slashing an impressive .346/.369/.580 with three home runs, two stolen bases, 14 runs and 13 RBI through his first 22 games in his big leagues. Though his performance would typically warrant a promotion upward in the lineup, Harris seems likely to stick as the No. 9 hitter with Dansby Swanson settling in nicely as Atlanta's No. 2 hitter since moving into that spot in the order in late May.
Jun 20, 2022
Solo shot in win
Harris went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Cubs.
ANALYSIS
Harris launched his third home run of the season in Sunday's game against the Cubs. Harris is having an excellent start to his rookie campaign with a hit in 14 of 17 June games, including seven multi-hit games. The outfielder is slashing .321/.346/.538 since his call-up on May 28.
Jun 14, 2022
Homers in win
Harris went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI in a 10-4 win Tuesday in Washington.
ANALYSIS
Harris doubled in a run in the third and added a solo shot in the sixth. The 21-year-old has homered in consecutive games and hit safely in seven straight. He is thriving in his first 17 games in the majors, slashing .323/.344/.548 with nine extra-base hits and two stolen bases.
Jun 14, 2022
Hits first big-league homer
Harris went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-5 win over the Nationals.
ANALYSIS
It took 16 games, but Harris finally swatted his first homer, a solo shot off Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan in the eighth inning. In his last six contests, Harris is 8-for-21 (.381) with four extra-base hits. He's maintained a .293/.317/.466 slash line with seven RBI, 10 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 60 plate appearances, earning an everyday role in center field.
Jun 11, 2022
Adds another steal
Harris went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 10-4 win over the Pirates.
ANALYSIS
Harris has stolen a base in each of the last two contests, which suggests he's getting a bit more comfortable at the big-league level. He's now 6-for-14 (.429) across his last four games, adding three RBI and five runs scored. The 21-year-old outfielder has six RBI, nine runs scored, five doubles and a triple through 53 plate appearances. Considering he had only 14 home runs in 197 minor-league games, he should be expected to produce more with speed than with power, though the latter trait shouldn't be completely discounted as his game grows.
Jun 11, 2022
Steals first big-league bag
Harris went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Pirates.
ANALYSIS
While the rookie has exclusively hit ninth in the batting order since his promotion, Harris has still been productive for Atlanta. He's slashing .298/.327/.447 through his first 13 MLB games with five RBI and eight runs scored, and while he's still looking for his first big-league homer, the 21-year-old now has his first steal in the majors after swiping 11 in 43 Double-A games this year.
Jun 3, 2022
Collects three hits Thursday
Harris went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI in Thursday's 13-6 victory over Colorado.
ANALYSIS
All of Atlanta's starters on offense collected at least one hit in the contest, and Harris got in on the action with the first multi-hit performance of his young career. The 21-year-old picked up an RBI for the third straight game when he knocked in a run with an infield single in the second inning. Harris was batting .188 heading into the contest, but he raised that mark to .286 with the standout effort.
May 31, 2022
Draws fourth consecutive start
Harris will start in center field and bat ninth in Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.
ANALYSIS
Harris will man center field for the fourth game in a row, even though Atlanta's top prospect has gone 1-for-9 with one run in his first three contests in the big leagues. He'll need to start producing sooner rather than later or risk a demotion to Triple-A Gwinnett or Double-A Mississippi, but Atlanta looks prepared to give the 21-year-old a trial run as an everyday outfielder. William Contreras -- who is sitting out a second straight game Tuesday -- and Adam Duvall are the main candidates to lose out on playing time while Harris is up with the big club.
May 28, 2022
Debuting in center field
Harris is starting in center field and batting ninth during Saturday's game against the Marlins.
ANALYSIS
Harris' contract was selected by Atlanta on Saturday, and the 21-year-old will make his major-league debut in center field while Ronald Acuna serves as the designated hitter in his return to the lineup. Harris hasn't played at the Triple-A level but slashed .305/.372/.506 with five homers, 33 runs, 33 RBI and 11 stolen bases over 43 games at Double-A Mississippi to begin the year. Since many of Atlanta's outfielders have struggled recently, the team's top prospect should have plenty of chances to earn playing time in the big leagues.
May 28, 2022
Contract selected by Atlanta
Harris' contract was selected by Atlanta on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Harris got off to a blistering start to the season at Double-A Mississippi, as he reached base safely in his first 31 games of the year and slashed .307/.362/.512 with four home runs, two triples, 10 doubles, 22 RBI, 21 runs and 10 stolen bases during that time. The 21-year-old hasn't played at the Triple-A level, but he'll be rewarded with a significant promotion to the big leagues following his results in Mississippi. Harris is Atlanta's top fantasy prospect and will attempt to carve out playing time in the majors after Travis Demeritte was sent down Saturday.
May 2, 2022
Goes yard twice for Mississippi
Harris went 2-for-6 with two solo home runs for Double-A Mississippi on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta's No. 1 fantasy prospect has reached base safely in all 21 games so far this season, with Sunday's fireworks marking his most impressive performance yet. All four of Harris' homers in 2022 have come in the last seven contests, and on the season he's slashing a blazing .333/.396/.586 with nine steals in 11 attempts, plus 16 runs and 19 RBI. The organization doesn't need to rush the 21-year-old to the majors, especially with Ronald Acuna now back in action, but it may not be long before Harris forces a promotion to Triple-A.
Apr 18, 2022
Hit streak at nine games
Harris went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a stolen base for Double-A Mississippi on Sunday against Biloxi.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta's top fantasy prospect has hit safely in all nine games to begin the season, slashing .378/.410/.541 with two doubles and two triples. Harris is still looking for his first homer and there are some other minor blemishes on his line, including a 2:8 BB:K and two caught stealing in five attempts, but overall the 21-year-old is looking like a future five-category asset. Atlanta kept him at High-A all last season despite strong numbers and doesn't have a need to rush him up the ladder, but Harris seems intent on forcing his way to Triple-A sometime this summer.
Mar 26, 2022
Reassigned to minor-league camp
Harris was reassigned to minor-league camp Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Harris is one of Atlanta's top prospects and performed well during spring games, going 2-for-7 with a double, a run, an RBI, two stolen bases and three walks across five appearances. He was never a serious contender for a major-league roster spot to begin the year, but he'll presumably advance to Double-A Mississippi in 2022 after spending the 2021 campaign at High-A Rome.
Mar 24, 2022
Swipes third bag of spring
Harris went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Twins.
ANALYSIS
Atlanta's top prospect got the start in center field and put together another intriguing performance. Harris has gone 3-for-8 with a double, a 2:0 BB:K and three stolen bases through four appearances this spring, and the fact he's still with the big-leaguers and getting playing time while the likes of Drew Waters have already been sent back to minor-league camp says volumes about how close the organization views him to being ready for the majors. Harris slashed .294/.362/.436 with seven homers and 26 steals in 30 attempts over 101 games for High-A Rome last year, but a hot start at Double-A to begin 2022 could set him up for a mid-summer promotion to Triple-A and potentially even a September debut with Atlanta.
Sep 24, 2021
Ends successful minor-league season
Harris wrapped up the 2021 minor-league campaign with a .294/.362/.436 line for High-A Rome. He hit seven home runs and went 26-for-30 on stolen bases, collecting 64 RBI and 55 runs in the process.
ANALYSIS
Obviously, the ability Harris showed on the bases was impressive, and his plate discipline only got stronger as the season went along -- after posting a 7:32 BB:K through May and June, he put up a 28:47 mark the rest of the way, including more walks than strikeouts in September. That can be seen as a reflection of an adjusted approach -- one that saw him seemingly stop trying to hit home runs entirely, as five of his seven long balls came in those first two months. From a fantasy perspective, it's obviously cause for some concern that Harris hasn't come close to living up to his power projections, but he's still just 20 years old and certainly doesn't have the scouting profile of a slap hitter. It'll be interesting to see how hard Atlanta pushes him next year, as he doesn't have much to prove in High-A.
Jul 15, 2021
Slumping recently in High-A
Harris has gone 0-for-18 with a pair of walks and five strikeouts over his last five games for High-A Rome but is still batting .296/.324/.442 with five homers and 14 steals on the season.
ANALYSIS
He does still have a .341 BABIP, so it's not surprising that he's seen a little bit of a statistical correction. The third-youngest player in the High-A East, the 20-year-old Harris has more than held his own this year despite this recent skid. It'd be nice to see him develop a bit more in-game power, but at his tender age, he's got plenty of time to do so. He's already known to make plenty of hard contact, so it's more a matter of launch angle at this point. Cristian Pache and Drew Waters get plenty of attention as Atlanta's two big-name outfield prospects, but Harris could easily end up with a more well-rounded offensive game than either of them.
May 17, 2021
Four hits for High-A Rome
Harris went 4-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base for High-A Rome on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old is off to a strong start to the season, slashing .333/.375/.511 with two homers and three steals in three attempts while collecting at least one hit in nine of his 11 games. Harris does have a less encouraging 3:13 BB:K, but if he keeps raking he could push his way up to Double-A over the summer.
Feb 15, 2021
Scores camp invite
Harris was invited to major-league camp Monday.
ANALYSIS
The invitation highlights Harris' potential, though he's a long way from reaching it. Still just 19 years old, the outfielder hasn't played a game above Low-A and didn't look good in a small sample of 22 games at that level for Rome in 2019, hitting .183/.269/.232. He has several seasons of development left before pushing for a roster spot.
