Shut down in loss
Tecza notched two carries for one yard and hauled in all three targets for 34 yards during Saturday's 59-14 loss against Southern Methodist.
ANALYSIS
After receiving 24 carries in Week 12 versus ECU, Tecza saw just two in Friday's blowout loss. He made up for it slightly with three catches for 34 yards in the passing game, but it was not enough to overcome his lack of work in the running game. Even with the lack of production, he is likely to be an important factor in the team's game versus Army on Dec. 9.

Workhorse effort in win
Tecza accrued 24 rushes for 94 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for nine yards during Saturday's 10-0 win versus East Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Tecza dominated touches Saturday, receiving a season high 24 carries and adding two catches in the passing game. He rushed for 94 yards -- his third most this season -- and scored the lone touchdown of the game, a 19-yard scamper in the first quarter. He and the Midshipmen now have two chances to gather their sixth win and secure a trip to a bowl game, starting with a very difficult matchup at SMU Saturday.
Nov 12, 2023
82 yards in win
Tecza accrued nine carries for 82 yards and gathered in one of two targets for negative two yards during Saturday's 31-6 victory versus UAB.
ANALYSIS
Tecza rushed for 82 yards Saturday, his most since Week 6 versus North Texas. He did it on just nine carries too, making it one of his most efficient outings of the season. Next up he faces East Carolina on Saturday.
Nov 6, 2023
Shut down in loss
Tecza notched eight rushes for 20 yards and reeled in their only target for four yards during Saturday's 32-18 loss to Temple.
ANALYSIS
Tecza had his worst performance since Week 2 Saturday as he finished with under 25 rushing yards for the second consecutive week. He finished with just eight carries as new starting quarterback Xavier Arline had 30. It appears Tecza is still the No. 1 running back, however Brandon Chatman received the exact same number of touches at Tecza and outperformed him.
Oct 23, 2023
Slow day in loss
Tecza posted 12 carries for 24 yards and caught 4 of 5 targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 17-6 defeat to Air Force.
ANALYSIS
After four straight impressive performances, Tecza finally came back down to earth versus ranked Air Force. He still showed some signs of life, including setting season highs in receptions and receiving yards. He faces a very favorable matchup next up on Nov. 4 versus Temple, a defense which just let up 55 points to SMU.
Oct 16, 2023
Scores long TD in win
Tecza accrued six rushes for 75 yards and one touchdown and hauled in 1 of 2 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 14-0 win versus Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Tecza scored a 62-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal Saturday's win over Charlotte. It marks his fourth touchdown of the season, all of which have come in the last four games. He did not do much else in the game, but he still appears to be the Midshipmen's go-to running back.
Oct 10, 2023
Dominates on ground Saturday
Tecza totaled 17 rushes for 137 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 27-24 victory against North Texas.
ANALYSIS
If he had not already, Tecza established himself as the leader of the Midshipmen rushing attack Saturday. He scored two touchdowns, a 39-yarder and a 21-yarder, and attempted a season-high 17 carries in the win. He now has 382 yards and three touchdowns in the past three games -- all against conference opponents -- on an impressive 8.5 yards per carry. Now that he has firmly established himself as the lead back in the most run-heavy offense in the country, he has the potential to be an elite option moving forward.

Leads rushing attack Saturday
Tecza tallied 13 carries for 82 yards during Saturday's 44-30 defeat versus South Florida.
ANALYSIS
Tecza led the team in rushing once again Saturday, out-touching and out-gaining Daba Fofana for the second straight game. While the Midshipmen typically have at least five players run the ball multiple times a game, Tecza looks as if he might be the preferred option over last year's starter Daba Fofana.

Breaks out versus Memphis
Tecza tallied 15 carries for 163 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 28-24 loss against Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Tecza led the team in rushing Thursday for the second time this season, but truly broke out versus the Tigers. He led the team in rushing attempts with 15 and ran for 163 yards, more than half of the team's total. A large chunk of that came on a 75-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but he ran the ball very well outside of that big play. Although Daba Fofana's name still sits atop the depth chart, Tecza is creeping up the ranks and this performance will likely see him continue to split touches with Fofana moving forward.
Aug 26, 2023
Leads team in rushing
Tecza notched eight rushes for 38 yards during Saturday's 42-3 loss versus Notre Dame.
ANALYSIS
Tecza led the Midshipmen in rushing yards in Saturday's season opener, even though he finished with just 38. He also was one of just two players to catch a pass, as he totaled one reception for two yards. While he is firmly behind Daba Fofana in the depth chart, his decent performance versus a tough opponent could see him get more touches as the season progresses.
