Littleton compiled 11 rushes for 38 yards and reeled in 1 of 2 targets for four yards during Saturday's 37-17 loss versus Ohio State.

Littleton slightly paced the Terrapins' rushing attack ahead of top running back Roman Hemby (eight carries, 35 yards). These rank first and second on the team in rushing attempts this season, though the 232-pound Littleton profiles as more of a short-yardage bruiser than the more versatile Hemby. The 6-foot-1 redshirt sophomore rotated reps with No. 1 running back Ramon Hemby throughout the first half, though neither saw too much action after the Terrapins began to pull away in the third quarter. Littleton did accumulate fewer carries and yards than Colby McDonald (10 carries, 75 yards, one TD); yet, Littleton's usage early in the game should reinforce his role as the team's RB2 - at least until/if Ramon Brown (undisclosed) makes his season debut in the coming weeks.

Littleton (knee) notched three rushes for eight yards during Saturday's 23-10 defeat to Wisconsin.

Littleton missed his first game of the season after hyperextending his knee ahead of Maryland's previous contest against Northwestern in Week 8. While the redshirt freshman was able to return Saturday, he was held to a season low in rushing yards while seeing limited usage behind Roman Hemby (16 rushes, 66 yards) and Ramon Brown (nine rushes, 27 yards). Littleton now has 317 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 53 carries over eight games this season, though he'll likely continue to see a sparse workload this coming Saturday against Penn State.

Littleton hyperextended his left knee during warmups, and he was held out of Saturday's matchup with Northwestern. The redshirt freshman has appeared in seven games this season, logging 50 carries for 309 yards and six touchdowns. Littleton will have his next opportunity to return Nov. 5, against Wisconsin.

Littleton out-carried usual No. 1 running back Roman Hemby (nine rushes, 27 yards; five receptions, 29 yards) during the Terrapins' Week 5 victory. The 235-pound bruiser essentially matched his production through the first four games of the season (21 touches for 164 yards), including a game-long 68-yard rush to the Michigan State two-yard line. Littleton also found the endzone on a 15-yard rushing score in the first quarter to mark his fifth straight game with at least one touchdown carry.
