Catches 58-yard pass Thursday
Chatman totaled one carry for zero yards and caught one pass for 58 yards during Thursday's 28-24 loss versus Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Chatman only caught one pass Thursday but made the most of it as he took it 58 yards and added some more on top of it by drawing a facemask penalty. After receiving 13 carries in the first two games, he only received one versus Memphis, and that trend may continue after Alex Tecza's breakout performance. Even though he has proven to contribute big plays, it will be hard to rely on Chatman consistently if he only sees a couple of touches per game.

Decent showing in Ireland
Chatman recorded eight carries for 30 yards and two receptions for 41 yards during Saturday's 42-3 defeat to Notre Dame.
ANALYSIS
Chatman led the Midshipmen in total yards in Saturday's season opener, as he recorded 71 yards (30 rushing and 41 receiving) versus a tough Fighting Irish defense. He also recorded the biggest play of the game for the Midshipmen, a 39-yard reception in the 4th quarter which led to Navy's lone score of the game. While he will be splitting carries with Daba Fofana Alex Tecza, along with quarterback Tai Lavatai, it's clear Chatman has a place in this offense.
