Enters transfer portal
Fleming (leg) has entered the transfer portal, Matt Zenitz of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Fleming will look for opportunities with new program this season following his departure from Maryland. The redshirt sophomore appeared in seven games with the Terrapins last season, logging 18 receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown. The 5-foot-10 wideout will likely draw attention from multiple programs given his experience with both Maryland and Nebraska.

Undergoing surgery
Fleming (leg) will undergo surgery this week and miss the remainder of the season, Emily Giambalvo of The Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Fleming was helped off the field late in the game last week against Michigan State. He was unable to put any pressure on his right leg. Unfortunately the injury will require surgery, but Fleming is not expected to be out for an extended period of time, meaning he may be able to participate in the spring.

Helped off field
Fleming was helped off the field during the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against Michigan State, Emily Giambalvo of The Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Fleming was putting no pressure on his right leg as he was being helped off the field. A return to Saturday's game seems unlikely, as he'll hope to return next week against Michigan.

70 yards Saturday
Fleming reeled in four catches for 70 yards in the game versus Indiana on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The freshman had the most yards of his young career on a day that had many season or career bests for the Terapins. Fleming's good play should give some hope for Maryland's future at the position.

Finds endzone in loss
Fleming caught five passes for 62 yards and one touchdown in the game against Minnesota on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Fleming played well despite being buried on the depth chart. He could continue to find success as Maryland is in desperate need of someone to step up due to their vast amount of injuries.

Heading to Maryland
Fleming announced via Twitter that he has committed to transfer to Maryland.
ANALYSIS
Fleming only played in four games during his time with Nebraska. He will have four years of eligibility, but may have to sit out the 2021 season unless he can secure a waiver.

Time at Nebraska over
Fleming entered the NCAA's transfer portal Monday and is set to leave Nebraska, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The true freshman wideout appeared in four games for the Cornhuskers, compiling five receptions for 75 yards on nine targets. Fleming will retain four years of eligibility at his next school, though if he moves to another FBS program, he may require a waiver from the NCAA in order to play in 2021.

Leads team in receiving
Fleming hauled in five of his eight targets for 75 yards Saturday versus Northwestern.
ANALYSIS
It appears coach Scott Frost may be willing to take the training wheels off of his freshman wideouts and Flemming made the most impact of any receiver Saturday. He finished the day ties with Wan'Dale Robinson for the most targets among Husker pass catchers and the showing should afford him more looks and reps moving forward.
