Catches TD in Saturday's win
Kent gathered in their only target for 26 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 win versus North Texas.
ANALYSIS
Kent scored his first touchdown of the season Saturday, a 26-yard reception from Tai Lavatai. It marked his fourth reception of the season which is not bad for Midshipmen standards, but he simply lacks the volume to compete with other receivers in pass-first offenses.

Makes two catches Saturday
Kent (knee) made two catches (on two targets) for 45 yards in Saturday's 24-0 win over Wagner.
ANALYSIS
Kent is back in action after missing the opener, and while he didn't play a significant role in the win, he made an impact every time he was targeted. For what is worth, the sophomore wideout already surpassed his total of catches from last season, and he should see a bigger, more steady role compared to 2022, starting in Week 3 on the road against Memphis.

Expected to suit up Saturday
Kent (knee) is probable for Saturday's game versus Wagner, Bill Wagner of The Capital Gazette reports.
ANALYSIS
Kent could make his season debut Saturday after missing most of the preseason with a knee injury. The sophomore wideout recorded just one catch in 2022 but is expected to see a bigger role this season.

Not on Week 1 DC following injury
Kent has missed time during fall camp due to a knee injury, Bill Wagner of the Capital Gazette reports. He's not listed on the Midshipmen's depth chart for the season opener.
ANALYSIS
Kent is expected to play a role this fall for Navy when healthy after recording a catch for 32 yards and four carries for 76 yards and a score last season, but it seems like he's trending toward missing the season opener versus Notre Dame. If that's the case, his next opportunity to suit up would arrive Sept. 9 versus Wagner.
