The Brewers are starving for good starting pitching. Tobias Myers has delivered recently.
The rookie right-hander has held his last 110 batters to a .109 ISO and wOBA of .259. He’s limited walks to 6.4% and has held teams to 25.3% of fly balls.
He’s become a trustworthy rotation piece for Milwaukee.
The Brewers’ Ugly Lineup
On the other hand, the Brewers’ projected lineup against righties has hit a .123 ISO and wOBA of .324 against righties in the last month.
They likely won’t fare well against Michael King of the Padres, who has limited teams to a .071 ISO and wOBA of .262 over the last 30 days.
In addition, King has struck out more than 30% of batters over the last 30 days. He’s also added 27% of strikeouts this season, so he’s been consistently adding strikeouts. He’s just been even better recently.
