Clemson Tigers vs. Pittsburgh Panthers
Saturday, November 16, 2024 – 12:00 PM ET at Acrisure Stadium
Solid Bounce Back From Clemson
To start November, the Clemson Tigers were outclassed against Louisville. Although they started slow against Virginia Tech on the road, Clemson eventually won, 24-14.
The Tigers watched as Miami lost to Georgia Tech. Now Clemson is in a favorable spot to play in the ACC Championship Game and potentially win the ACC.
They’ll head to Pittsburgh to take on a reeling Pittsburgh team that was overrated.
Pittsburgh Isn’t Escaping Anymore
The Pittsburgh Panthers were winning tight games, and they probably didn’t deserve to win earlier in the year. Now, it’s all starting to take a toll on them. The Panthers have lost two straight games to SMU and Virginia. They certainly don’t look like a top ACC team and have had two losses in the conference.
Pittsburgh’s offense has struggled to score recently. It’s added no more than 25 points in three of its last four games. It’s unlikely Pittsburgh will prevent Clemson, even at home, to below 25 points. It’s hard to even imagine Pittsburgh scoring two touchdowns against Clemson’s defense.
The Pick
Let’s back Clemson at -12.5. I’ve got the Tigers winning by at least two touchdowns.
NCAAF Pick: Clemson -12.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook
Tennessee Volunteers vs. Georgia Bulldogs
Saturday, November 16, 2024 – 07:30 PM ET at Sanford Stadium
Another SEC Knockout Game
The Tennessee Volunteers are 8-1 with only one loss in the SEC. They still have a legitimate chance at playing in the SEC Championship game, especially after LSU’s loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide last week.
They’ll be in a good position if Tennessee can defeat Georgia, knowing Texas plays Texas A&M in the season’s final week. However, Tennessee will get Georgia at the worst time.
The Vols will have to take on the Bulldogs after Georgia lost its second game of the year to Ole Miss in ugly fashion. On the other hand, Tennessee has won four consecutive games but has already lost to Arkansas. This same Tennessee team needed overtime to beat Florida and allowed Kentucky to stick around a couple of weeks ago.
Georgia’s Bounce Back Incoming
The Georgia Bulldogs have looked absolutely pathetic over the last two weeks. But that’s why I like them heading into this weekend’s game. Georgia needed a wake-up call against Ole Miss. The Bulldogs lost 28-10 on the road and looked utterly outmatched.
They’ll head home and look in the mirror. Carson Beck is throwing too many interceptions, and the defense isn’t getting enough pressure on the quarterback. It’s been like this for the last couple of weeks.
But at home, Georgia should get right against Tennessee. After all, the Bulldogs still have the potential to play in the SEC Championship game. They can also still make the College Football Playoff with no more losses.
The Pick
I’ll take Georgia at -9.5. The AI Model is on to something!
NCAAF Pick: Georgia -9.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook
Kansas Jayhawks vs. Brigham Young Cougars
Saturday, November 16, 2024 – 10:15 PM ET at LaVell Edwards Stadium
Is Kansas Still Dangerous?
The Kansas Jayhawks are just 3-6. But they’re only 3.5-point underdogs against the BYU Cougars, who are undefeated. So yes, the Jayhawks are still dangerous. After all, Kansas defeated Iowa State convincingly last week, 45-36.
But while Kansas is dangerous, they’re also inconsistent. The Jayhawks have allowed 36 points in four of their last five games. In those matchups, they’ve lost three of the four games.
BYU Is Inching Closer To The Big 12 Title
The BYU Cougars are 9-0 after a shocking finish against Utah on Saturday. BYU had scored 34+ points in over a month of games but only added 22 in a win over the Utes.
But as I mentioned earlier, Kansas has given up a lot of points, and BYU has scored a ton of points. When we zoom out to the big picture, it’s way more likely that BYU will score at a high rate and knock off Kansas at home to stay undefeated.
The Pick
Take BYU at -3.5. They’ll do enough offensively to win.
NCAAF Pick: BYU -3.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook
