Don’t Count On Logan Gilbert
While Logan Gilbert is a notable name and a terrific pitcher, he’s struggled over the last month. Gilbert has allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .396 to his previous 51 lefties.
He’ll have to face Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Gavin Lux, Max Muncy, and more in the Dodgers lineup that are left-handed hitters. That’s not good news for Gilbert.
After all, the Dodgers’ lefties have combined to hit a .298 ISO and wOBA of .400 over the last month against righties.
Keep The Strikeouts Coming
The Dodgers will pitch Jack Flaherty. He’s a righty who has added 31.6% of strikeouts over the last month. In addition, he’s held walks to 6.3% and has limited his wOBA to .303 during the previous 30 days.
With the Mariners’ strikeout rate at 25.4% using the projected lineup against righties, it’s safe to assume Flaherty will add a high rate of strikeouts and dominate the Mariners.
