Johnny Cueto’s First Start Of The Season
The Los Angeles Angels lack depth, so they’ve called on Johnny Cueto to make his first start of the season tonight, a veteran pitcher who once had success in the MLB.
That said, he had a 6.02 ERA with the Marlins last season and allowed 51 hits in 52.1 innings of work with the Marlins. Don’t expect a premier performance from Cueto.
Michael Lorenzen Is No Better
The Royals brought in depth at the trade deadline with Michael Lorenzen. But over the last 30 days, he’s still allowed a .214 ISO and wOBA of .399 to his previous 65 righties.
Zach Neto and Jo Adell are two threats against Lorenzen that can provide some pop. Nolan Schanuel and Mickey Moniak are also in that conversation of power bats against righties.
