NFL Odds for Week 1: Sept 4-10

Lamar Jackson #8 of the Baltimore Ravens warms up before the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s finally here, and the NFL Odds Week 1 are up at the best US sportsbooks in the industry, and below we have analysis on some of the marquee matchups like divisional rivalries between Cincinnati and Cleveland, and Green Bay and Detroit, while a major showdown awaits between Baltimore and Buffalo on Sunday night!

Bengals vs. Browns (+5.5 at Caesars)

Sunday, September 07, 2025 – 01:00 PM EDT

Last season, these teams didn’t meet until Week 7. The Bengals claimed a 21-14 win over the Browns and covered the number as 5.5 road favorites.

The Browns have been a moribund franchise for a long time, but they have a veteran with a big arm who could be playing his final season in Joe Flacco. They also have a pair of young guns waiting in the wings in third-round pick Dillon Gabriel and the shocking fifth-rounder, Shedeur Sanders.

On the other side of the field, we have an explosive offense with Joe Burrow pulling the trigger for his twin terrors on the wings, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

The Bengals are currently 5.5 road favorites and have not only won four of their last five meetings with the Browns but have also covered in the last four of five as well.

Lions vs. Packers (-2 at BetMGM)

Sunday, September 07, 2025 – 04:25 PM EDT

There were plenty of people on the Lions’ bandwagon last season, as head coach Dan Campbell has turned this franchise around from a laughingstock to a bona fide Super Bowl contender. After years of being the league’s doormat, the Lions now have a target on their collective backs, and the Packers know not to take this divisional rival for granted.

Detroit has defeated the Packers in six of its last seven games and boasts a 5-2 ATS record over that time. However, the Packers did narrowly cover as 3.5 road underdogs in their last meeting on December 5th when the Lions claimed a 34-31 victory and clinched a playoff berth.

The OddsTrader Live Odds page shows Green Bay as a narrow home favorite at the legendary Lambeau Field.

Ravens vs. Bills (+1.5 at Caesars)

Sunday, September 07, 2025 – 08:20 PM EDT

If this were college football, it would be akin to the Texas vs. Ohio State game, where two potential national champs are squaring off in the opening week of the season. That’s essentially what we have here, as the Bills are trying to rebound from a three-point loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship after they narrowly defeated the Ravens the week before, 27-25.

However, we should note that Baltimore blasted Buffalo, 35-10, in Week 4 of the regular season prior to getting ousted from the playoffs. The quarterback faceoff between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen is about as good as it gets, and this game should do huge numbers in its exclusive Sunday night time slot.

Over the last six meetings, these teams have split, but the Ravens own a slight ATS advantage with a 3-2-1 record against the number.
