The Athletics will ride with lefty JP Sears tonight. The Yankees had Sears but sent him away in a trade at the deadline a couple of years ago. Sears never really found success in his early career with his Yankees and has still struggle the majority of the time with the Athletics.
Sears has allowed a .207 ISO and wOBA of .336 over the last 30 days. He’s also allowed more than 35% of fly balls and 46.5% of hard contact to his last 124 batters.
New York hasn’t been the most consistent offense. However, Gleyber Torres and Aaron Judge are red-hot righties against lefties.
