There are 12 NBA games on Thursday’s schedule, including Spurs @ Cavaliers and Lakers @ Celtics. Let’s dive into the top player props for today.
Mouhamed Gueye: Over 7.5 Points + Rebounds (-114) vs. Nuggets
There’s something of a safety net around this play, which I’m a big fan of. Hawks star Jalen Johnson is questionable to take part in tonight’s game. If he doesn’t play, Mouhamed Gueye is almost certain to draw the start in his place.
When he’s started, Gueye has gone 2-1 against this line, often hitting the over with ease. But he’s been effective as a reserve, too, and I would be comfortable backing the over even if Johnson winds up taking the floor. On the year, Gueye has cleared this mark in 13 out of 23 appearances.
De’Aaron Fox: Over 25.5 Points (-114) @ Cavaliers
De’Aaron Fox is proving to be everything the Spurs wanted in a starting point guard. The 27-year-old is averaging 25 points per game over 13 appearances this season while sinking a career-high 38.6% of his 3-point attempts.
Since Victor Wembanyama went down, Fox has been even more of a catalyst in the offense, scoring 26-plus points in seven out of nine games. And while Cleveland has been fairly stout against opposing point guards, I question Darius Garland’s ability to slow down Swipa. Take the over.

You’ll also find three dropdown menus above the grid. These allow you to sort by matchup, prop type, and bet rating, respectively. Use these to narrow down your search and find the best player prop available for your specified terms.

There are lots of small details that go into NBA player prop betting. If you still have some questions, read our answers to some common FAQs below.
You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total.
If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win.
Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop.
If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
