There are nine NBA Cup games on Friday’s schedule, including Timberwolves @ Suns and Nuggets @ Rockets. Let’s dive into the top player props for today.
Derik Queen: Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-124) @ Mavericks
It didn’t take long for the Pelicans to fully embrace rookie center Derik Queen, and rightfully so. The 20-year-old is highly skilled for his position and flashed his all-around potential in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets, logging 30 points, nine rebounds, and four assists over 30 minutes of action.
Dallas isn’t that formidable on defense – especially with Anthony Davis sidelined – and this line isn’t fully taking into account that Queen has seen a massive boost in usage lately. The over is an easy call at 25.5 PRA.
Scottie Barnes: Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds (-122) vs. Wizards
Scottie Barnes has been a driving force in Toronto’s recent success, and that should continue this evening as they host the lowly Wizards. And with this being an NBA Cup game – where point differential is highly important – we could see him get some additional run, even in a blowout.
Regardless, this is an excellent matchup for the fifth-year forward. Washington ranks dead-last in opponent points and rebounds allowed per game, and they’re giving up the second-most fantasy points per game to the position. This is a lock.
From left to right, you’ll find sections for the prop, expected value, cover probability, bet rating, and the best line available. Let’s quickly break down what these mean.
You’ll also find three dropdown menus above the grid. These allow you to sort by matchup, prop type, and bet rating, respectively. Use these to narrow down your search and find the best player prop available for your specified terms.

There are lots of small details that go into NBA player prop betting. If you still have some questions, read our answers to some common FAQs below.
You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total.
If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win.
Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop.
If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
