The Hawks bleed points and play at one of the NBA’s quickest paces, so it’s hard to imagine a better stat-stuffing situation for Pelicans rookie Derik Queen. The 21-year-old big has been one of the highlights of a deep rookie class, averaging 13.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.

In a previous matchup with Atlanta on Nov. 22, Queen notched 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists over 32 minutes. He’s seemingly hit a bit of a wall lately, but Queen maintains a large role in the offense and should be instrumental in generating scoring opportunities this evening.

You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total. 

What happens if a player gets injured or can’t finish a game?

If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win. 

Do NBA player props count overtime?

Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop. 

If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
