There are seven NBA games on Tuesday’s schedule, including Bucks @ 76ers and Pistons @ Nuggets. Let’s dive into the top player props for today.
Cade Cunningham: Under 33.5 Points + Assists (-115) @ Nuggets
Pistons-Nuggets has all the makings of a low-scoring game, and with the total set at around 217 points, oddsmakers fully expect it to be. Detroit’s defense has been stellar all season, and Denver has locked in on that end of the floor since Nikola Jokić went down about a month ago.
Cunningham is averaging 25.4 points and 9.7 assists per game this season, putting him just above this threshold. However, he’s only gone over this mark in four out of eight appearances in January, with the under hitting in four of his last five. I’m leaning toward the under at -115.
Tre Johnson: Over 5.5 Assists + Rebounds (-145) vs. Trail Blazers
The sixth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Johnson is one of the more unheralded lottery picks of his class – through no fault of his own. The 19-year-old has looked stellar lately, averaging 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists and sinking over 41% of his triples since he became a full-time starter on Dec. 28.
He’s also taken on a larger playmaking role during that stretch, and particularly since the Wizards shipped CJ McCollum off to Atlanta in the Trae Young deal. Johnson notched six assists in his last outing, a career-high, and has hit at least three in eight of his last 10. This is an easy over.

There are lots of small details that go into NBA player prop betting. If you still have some questions, read our answers to some common FAQs below.
You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total.
If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win.
Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop.
If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
