Assigned to G League
Brooklyn assigned Saraf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday.
ANALYSIS
With Brooklyn off until Dec. 12, Saraf and Drake Powell will head to Long Island for a quick stint in order to get some live reps.

Totals season high 12 points
Saraf provided 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals across 24 minutes during Thursday's 123-110 loss to Utah.
ANALYSIS
Saraf has carved out a role off Brooklyn's bench over the past four games after missing roughly two weeks due to a left ankle sprain. The results have been up and down for the rookie guard, as he set a season high in points Thursday against the Jazz but also committed a team-high five turnovers. He's averaging 8.8 points, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game during that four-game span.

Logs seven assists in loss
Saraf recorded 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven assists and one block across 29 minutes in Saturday's 116-99 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Saraf missed about two weeks of action due to a left ankle sprain before being cleared to return ahead of Friday's 115-103 loss to the 76ers. He didn't crack the rotation for that contest, but with Egor Demin (foot) sitting out Saturday's game, Saraf was able to pick up some major minutes in his first appearance for the Nets since Nov. 11. Though he came through with an efficient showing from the field while logging a team-high assist total, Saraf could nonetheless find himself back outside of the rotation if Demin returns for Brooklyn's next game Monday versus the Hornets.

Available to play
Saraf (ankle) will be available for Friday's game against the 76ers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf, who hasn't played for the Nets since Nov. 11, could find himself in the rotation Friday with the team shorthanded due to injuries. He's only worth monitoring in very deep formats for now.
Nov 27, 2025
Upgraded to questionable
Saraf (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable ahead of Friday's game against the 76ers, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf hasn't played for the Nets since Nov. 11, when he scored two points across two minutes off the bench in a 119-109 loss. The questionable tag suggests a decision on Saraf's status will be made closer to Friday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff, but even if he's upgraded, he's not expected to play a big role for Brooklyn.

Out at least 10 days
Brooklyn recalled Saraf from the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday after the team announced that he will be sidelined at least 10 days with a left ankle injury, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf tweaked his left ankle on Nov. 15 in the G League. Based on this timetable, the earliest possible return date would be Nov. 28 against the 76ers. Saraf fell out of Brooklyn's rotation prior to this injury setback, however, so this news doesn't have many fantasy implications.
Nov 13, 2025
Assigned to G League
Brooklyn assigned Saraf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Saraf has fallen out of Brooklyn's rotation in recent games, so this move makes a lot of sense for the rookie.

Returns from G League
The Nets recalled Saraf from the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
With Long Island not scheduled to play again until Friday, Saraf will rejoin the parent club and should be available for Brooklyn's next game Tuesday versus the Raptors, though he's not guaranteed to be included in the rotation. The rookie first-round pick from Israel had struggled over his six appearances at the NBA level prior to being assigned to Long Island last week, averaging 3.5 points, 2.7 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game while shooting 23.1 percent from the field. While Saraf was away from the team and playing with Long Island for the first two games of the G League season, the Nets turned to Terance Mann and Tyrese Martin to serve as their primary facilitators behind starting point guard Egor Demin.

Assigned to G League
The Nets assigned Saraf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
With Saraf losing his rotation spot to Tyrese Martin, Saraf will need to keep his reps up by going over to the G League.
Nov 3, 2025
Doesn't see floor Sunday
Saraf did not see the floor in Sunday's 129-105 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
After a tough start to his rookie season, the Nets went in a different direction Sunday -- Tyrese Martin started and saw 27 minutes, though he did have a tough outing. Saraf is currently off the fantasy radar in standard formats.
Nov 2, 2025
Demoted from starting unit
Saraf won't start Sunday's game against the 76ers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf started at point guard in each of his first five NBA games, but the rookie was held scoreless twice in his last three appearances. Tyrese Martin will start at point guard, with Saraf and fellow rookie Egor Demin competing for backup minutes.
Oct 30, 2025
Fails to score in start
Saraf provided zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 loss to Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Saraf started for the fifth straight game to open the season, failing to score for the second time in the past three games. Despite the starting tag, Saraf has been anything but when it comes to production. He has scored a total of 16 points thus far, adding two three-pointers and two steals. He should not be on any rosters outside of very deep formats.
Oct 27, 2025
Dishes career high five assists
Saraf was not able to score (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) in Sunday's 118-107 loss to San Antonio but added five assists, a rebound and a steal across 15 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Saraf was able to reach an early career high in assists despite not scoring. While he has drawn the start at point guard over fellow rookie Egor Demin, it is worth noting that Demin has played more minutes and scored more points in all three games to start the season thus far.
Oct 23, 2025
Looks good in debut
Saraf registered eight points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 136-117 loss to Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Saraf drew the start at point guard for Opening Night and showcased some solid upside despite some struggles shooting the ball. The bad news for Saraf is that Egor Demin was even more impressive, finishing with 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes. Although both players are in a heated battle for playing time, it's fair to wonder if they will get the chance to play alongside each other as well in what is going to be a developmental season for the team.

Starting vs. Hornets
Saraf is starting Wednesday's season opener against the Hornets, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-rounder will get the nod over Egor Demin for Opening Night. Saraf and Demin will likely remain in a heated competition for the starting job going forward.
Oct 17, 2025
Starting preseason finale
Saraf will start Friday's preseason finale against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Saraf will replace Nolan Traore, who started Brooklyn's previous two preseason games. Fellow rookie Egor Demin is also available to make his preseason debut and will see minutes at point guard.
Oct 12, 2025
Eleven dimes off bench Sunday
Saraf scored four points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and added 11 assists, four rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 111-109 preseason win over the Suns in Macao.
ANALYSIS
The rookie point guard flashed some impressive distribution skills, as no other player in the game managed more than five assists in the contest. Saraf, the 26th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, is beginning to make a strong case to be the Opening Night starter at the point while the Nets wait for eighth overall pick Egor Demin (foot) to get healthy.
Oct 10, 2025
Active at foul line off bench
Saraf finished with nine points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound and one steal in 19 minutes during Friday's preseason loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The Nets took a look at Nolan Traore in the starting lineup Friday, which meant Saraf moved to the second unit. However, Saraf ended up logging more minutes than Traore, and he was also much more active on the offensive end of the floor. Both rookie guards will likely cede the starting spot once Egor Demin (foot) is ready to suit up, but Traore and Saraf remain in a heated competition for a backup role.
Oct 5, 2025
Dishes out six assists Saturday
Saraf supplied nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and six assists across 18 minutes in Saturday's 123-88 exhibition game win over Hapoel Jerusalem.
ANALYSIS
Saraf got the starting nod in his preseason debut, dishing out a game-high mark in assists. The 19-year-old has a chance to carve out a role on a rebuilding Nets squad this season, especially if Egor Demin (foot) misses time to start the regular season. The No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Saraf averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game with Ratiopharm in 2024-25.
Jul 18, 2025
Won't play Friday
Saraf (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's Summer League game against the 76ers, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf won't play in another game during the Las Vegas Summer League. The 19-year-old finished with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in his last outing.
Jul 15, 2025
Set to rest Wednesday
Saraf tallied 11 points (4-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block over 30 minutes in Tuesday's 97-93 Summer League loss to the Knicks. He will not play in Wednesday's Summer League game against the Magic due to rest, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Saraf reached double figures in scoring in what's reportedly his final Summer League appearance. The No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft played for Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany's Bundesliga last season, where he averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.
Jun 25, 2025
Heading to Brooklyn
Saraf was selected by the Nets with the No. 26 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
ANALYSIS
Saraf makes the move stateside with a lot of international experience, as he spent the 2024-25 season playing at Ratiopharm Ulm in the German Bundesliga. He also led the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket tournament in scoring and was named the MVP. Saraf needs to improve his long-range shooting to carve out a steady role in the NBA, but even in that scenario, he projects as a player who's not likely to make an impact in the rotation in a few more years in a best-case scenario. Saraf averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game with Ratiopharm in 2024-25. The Nets also selected Egor Demin (No. 8), Nolan Traore (No. 19), Drake Powell (No. 22) and Danny Wolf (No. 27) in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
