Clarke remained in the starting lineup Friday, turning in another productive game. With Steven Adams (knee) set to miss up to five weeks, Clarke appears as though he will be the primary beneficiary. Head coach Taylor Jenkins has already alluded to the fact he could change his starting lineup based on the opponent. However, Clarke should still play significant minutes, even when coming off the bench, making him a must-add player across most formats.

Clarke contributed 19 points (8-10 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-120 loss to the Warriors.

Clarke got the start in the absence of Steven Adams (knee), who is now slated to miss 3-5 weeks. His 32 minutes played are his second-highest total of the season so far, and he certainly made the most of his opportunities with a well-rounded performance. It is unclear if Clarke will remain in the starting lineup as we advance or if Coach Taylor Jenkins matched the Warriors' small ball lineup. Whoever starts for Adams will be on the fantasy radar in 12 and 14-team leagues and should have streaming appeal in 10-team formats.

He has played at least 20 minutes in four consecutive games, something that should at least have managers curious. Of course, we have seen periods like this in the past, only for Clarke to fall in heap. He could be worth streaming in just in case this continues a little while longer; however, just be prepared to drop him if the wheels fall off.

Clarke chipped in 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 123-102 win over the Thunder.

Clarke saw most of his production in the fourth quarter to the tune of eight points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field to help close out the Thunder. He only missed two of his 10 shot attempts in the game to finish with a season-high 17 on the night while also grabbing eight boards and a block. The Grizzlies power forward is shooting 70.6 percent through Memphis' four-game winning streak to begin the month and has grabbed eight or more rebounds in two of his last three.

Clarke will come off the bench Monday against the Heat.

Clarke drew a rare spot start Sunday against the Pistons, but he'll return to his usual bench role Monday with Steven Adams (hip) back in action.

Managers should keep an eye on things in Memphis just in case he is able to move up the pecking order at some point in the future. With that said, the probability of that happening feels quite low.

Clarke came through with a solid performance in the win, although his playing time, or lack thereof, remains a concern. He is currently averaging just 16.7 minutes per game, placing him well outside the top 150 in standard formats. Despite a proven ability to put up top-100 value, there is simply too much uncertainty to warrant holding him outside of deeper leagues.

This certainly doesn't mean he is all the way back but it does at least give managers hope. There is a chance he was let go in a number of leagues and while it doesn't appear he is going to get more than about 22 minutes on most nights, he is worth considering if you have a spare roster spot.

It was his best scoring night of the preseason and second time he reached double-digits. He's averaging 19.0 minutes and 10.2 points on 54.2 percent shooting and 14-for-17 from the charity stripe.

Clarke accumulated four points (1-4 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal across 17 minutes during Saturday's 142-112 loss to Golden State.

Clarke posted his worst playoff stat line in the loss, and it marked his worst performance since early April. It was widely thought that Clarke would play a more significant role amid Dillon Brooks' (suspension) absence, but he only played 17 minutes and sank only one shot during blowout.

Clarke posted 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-7 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and one block across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 111-109 victory over the Timberwolves.

Clarke came off the bench to deliver an impressive two-way performance, though that shouldn't be surprising considering how good he's looked throughout the series. Over the five games against the Timberwolves, the promising big man is averaging 16.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks per game while coming off the bench each time.

Clarke provided 20 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds and one block over 29 minutes during Thursday's 104-95 victory over the Timberwolves.

The third-year big continues to be an important part of the Grizzlies' second unit, helping the club overcome a 26-point deficit Thursday to take a 2-1 series lead. Through three games against Minnesota, Clarke is averaging 15.3 points, 7.7 boards, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting an absurd 70.8 percent from the floor.

After managing only four double-doubles during the regular season, Clarke came through with another to begin the Grizzlies' postseason. The third-year center ended up playing more minutes Saturday than the ineffective Steven Adams, and including the Game 1 loss, Clarke is averaging 11.9 points, 5.4 boards, 1.5 assists and 0.9 steals in 21.0 minutes over his last eight games. If Adams continues to struggle against Karl-Anthony Towns, Clarke could become a very important player for Memphis in the first round.

It's unclear if the Grizzlies will issue an official update to Clarke's status before tip, but for the time being it looks like he'll technically be on the active list. However, coach Taylor Jenkins implied pregame that neither Clarke nor Desmond Bane are likely to enter the game unless it's an emergency situation. Expect Santi Aldama, Xavier Tillman and Kyle Anderson to be among the beneficiaries of Clarke's absence from the rotation.

Clarke has had three DNP-Coach's decisions over the past six games, but after Monday's super outing, the forward may have earned more minutes.

He missed just six field-goal attempts (27-of-33) in three games against the Trail Blazers and owns the NBA record for highest field-goal percentage ever posted by a rookie. Assuming Clarke's role increases as a sophomore, he'll likely be a valuable contributor for fantasy purposes.

His workload will likely increase beyond the 24.0 minutes per game he averaged over the Grizzlies' last two games.

Clarke collected 21 points (7-8 FG, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Friday's 140-135 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers.

Clarke was phenomenal, missing only one field-goal attempt and one free throw while filling up the stat sheet across multiple categories. Clarke stepped up with Jonas Valanciunas picking up five fouls in only 14 minutes of action, even scoring the tying basket in the final minute of regulation to help send the game to overtime. Clarke has been incredibly efficient as a rookie and fits well alongside Jaren Jackson, and it should be no surprise if he ends up earning a significant boost in playing time compared to the 21.7 minutes per night he averaged through his first 50 games.

Clarke had 16 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3PT, 2-2 FT) and eight rebounds in Sunday's scrimmage against Houston.

The rookie came off the bench to play 26 minutes in his second of three scrimmages before seeding games begin. Clarke also added an assist and a steal to his ledger.

Clarke posted 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and three rebounds in 18 minutes during Friday's 90-83 scrimmage loss to the 76ers.

The time off didn't seem to bother Clarke, who continued his efficient scoring ways. During the regular season, Clarke had eight performances with at least 10 points on 80-plus percent shooting. The best of those was Feb. 12 against the Blazers, when Clarke posted 27 points on 12-of-14 shooting.

Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins said Wednesday that Clarke (quadriceps) is "looking good, feeling good," implying that the rookie will be ready to go for the resumption of the 2019-20 season in Orlando later this month, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.

Prior to the NBA's shutdown in mid-March, the Grizzlies had been playing without the services of three rotation pieces in Jaren Jackson (knee), Justise Winslow (back) and Clarke, but all are healthy after having three-plus months to recover from their respective injuries. Through his 50 appearances, the 23-year-old rookie is averaging 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21.7 minutes while shooting 62.3 percent from the floor, 40.4 percent from distance and 78.5 percent from the charity stripe.

Clarke has a right quadriceps injury and will be reevaluated in two weeks.

The Grizzlies are seemingly going to be pushing for a playoff spot this season which could have a detrimental impact on Clarke's fantasy ceiling. There is a chance he carves out a more sizeable role moving forward, something that could see him elevate into the top60 at some point. For now, he needs to be rostered in all 12-team formats despite a few inconsistencies.

His playing time could trend up at some point which would elevate his ceiling but for now, 25 minutes appears to be the expectation. He should be rostered in all formats at this point despite continuing to come off the bench.

Valanciunas was up to 20 minutes Sunday and should settle into the 25-to-30-minute range before long, so despite his early success, Clarke may still be at risk of losing a little playing time in the near future.
