Chris Boucher Injury News & Updates
Keep up with the latest injuries from the Knicks vs Celtics game today with our National Basketball Association injury report.Nov 1, 2025
Limited to 13 minutes
Boucher closed with four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one steal over 13 minutes during Saturday's 128-101 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Boucher picked up four fouls in 13 minutes, continuing what has been a rough start to his career in Boston. Despite a promising preseason, it appears as though Boucher is not a priority right now, averaging just 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game. There is no reason to consider him, even in deeper formats.
Oct 23, 2025
Quiet in season opener
Boucher recorded six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 16 minutes during Wednesday's 117-116 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher failed to surpass the 20 minute mark despite an early injury to follow big Luka Garza. Boucher was also noticeably absent for most of the fourth quarter. For the moment, the 32-year-old veteran is behind Neemias Queta, Xavier Tillman and Sam Hauser at the center and power forward positions. Expect Boston's front court situation to be in constant flux as the team struggles to find a winning combination from multiple journeymen reserves.
Oct 22, 2025
Not starting Wednesday
Boucher is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher started in all of Boston's preseason games, so while he'll come off the bench in Wednesday's opener, he could still find his way back into the first unit at some point. That said, as a reserve player in Boston, he's not the most attractive option in standard formats.
Oct 10, 2025
Scores 19 points with full line
Boucher scored 19 points (7-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) during Friday's preseason loss to the Raptors, adding nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers across 23 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has started the first two preseason games for Boston, so it'll be interesting to see if he remains a starter for Sunday's game against the Cavs. If he is able to open the season as a starter in Boston, he could provide some low-end value in deep leagues, but he'll be inconsistent.
Oct 9, 2025
Struggles from deep in win
Boucher finished with 11 points (3-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, one steal and one block across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 121-103 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Boucher couldn't get it going from beyond the arc, as he hit only one of his six attempts from deep as a starter during this preseason matchup. He did make somewhat of an impact defensively, however.
Aug 5, 2025
Agrees to deal with Celtics
Boucher (illness) has agreed to sign a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the Celtics, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After spending the last seven years with the Raptors, Boucher will land with Boston to help shore up the team's new-look frontcourt. It's plausible that veteran big man could open the 2025-26 season in a starting role, considering Boston has left Al Horford unsigned in addition to trading away Kristaps Porzingis and Georges Niang this offseason. Over 50 regular-season contests last year, Boucher averaged 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 17.2 minutes per game.
Apr 13, 2025
Questionable Sunday
Boucher (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's season has officially come to an end due to an illness. The Oregon product will miss a 23rd consecutive game Sunday. The 31-year-old forward played in 50 games this season, averaging 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting 49.2 percent from the floor and 36.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 28, 2025
Available Friday
Boucher (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Boucher will end a three-game absence with an illness Friday. The veteran big man will provide frontcourt depth off the bench, averaging 8.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.7 minutes over his last four appearances.
Mar 27, 2025
Questionable to play Friday
Boucher (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has missed the Raptors' last three games due to injuries, and a decision on his status will likely be made closer to Friday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. Orlando Robinson and Jonathan Mogbo could see more time in the frontcourt if Boucher ends up being ruled out once again.
Mar 25, 2025
Remains out with illness
Boucher is out for Wednesday's game against the Nets with an illness.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday will mark a third consecutive absence for Boucher, who can be deemed day-to-day prior to Friday's contest against the Hornets. With Jakob Poeltl getting the night off against Brooklyn, the Raptors are set to have Orlando Robinson and Jonathan Mogbo make up a timeshare at center.
Mar 24, 2025
Another absence coming
Boucher (illness) will not play Monday against the Wizards, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher hasn't seen the floor since Feb. 26, so his absence doesn't carry many fantasy implications.
Mar 23, 2025
Late scratch Sunday
Boucher (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was a late scratch for Sunday's contest due to an illness. His next chance to play will come Monday against the Wizards. The big man's absence shouldn't cause any waves in the rotation, as he hasn't played since Feb. 26.
Mar 8, 2025
Iffy against Washington
Boucher (teeth) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Wizards, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is in danger of missing Toronto's second straight outing Saturday due to a wisdom tooth extraction. However, Boucher hadn't logged any playing time in the team's previous three outings, although he was available.
Mar 7, 2025
Ruled out against Utah
Boucher (wisdom tooth extraction) won't play in Friday's game versus the Jazz, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been downgraded from doubtful to out Friday due to a wisdom tooth extraction. His next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Washington.
Mar 7, 2025
Downgraded to doubtful
Boucher (wisdom tooth extraction) is doubtful for Friday's game versus the Jazz, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been downgraded from probable to doubtful Friday due to a wisdom tooth extraction. With Jakok Poeltl (rest) and Jonathan Mogbo (nose) already ruled out against Utah, Orlando Robinson and Colin Castleton should receive the majority of the minutes in Toronto's frontcourt.
Mar 6, 2025
Expected to play Friday
Boucher is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the Jazz due to a wisdom tooth extraction, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher hasn't appeared in Toronto's last three contests but is expected to suit up Friday. With Jakob Poeltl (rest) and Jonathan Mogbo (nose) out, Boucher could receive increased playing time against Utah.
Feb 27, 2025
Scoreless in loss
Boucher totaled zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one block in 19 minutes in Wednesday's 111-91 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher went scoreless Wednesday, just a few days after recording his third double-double of the season versus the Suns. The 32-year-old's scoring has been hit-or-miss as of late, posting two double-digit performances and a pair of scoreless outings in the month of February.
Feb 5, 2025
Available against Memphis
Boucher (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against Memphis, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
After being listed as questionable with an illness, Boucher is good to go following a one-game absence Tuesday against the Knicks. The veteran big man could primed for an amplified role Wednesday, with Jakob Poeltl (hip) sitting on the sidelines. Over his last five outings, Boucher has averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 2.4 threes in 17.8 minutes.
Feb 5, 2025
Listed as questionable
Boucher (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was unable to play in Tuesday's game against the Knicks and remains day-to-day. If he does get the green light, Boucher and Kelly Olynyk could have some streaming appeal with Jakob Poeltl (hip) already ruled out.
Feb 4, 2025
Won't play Tuesday
Boucher (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is away from the team while he deals with an illness, and his next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Grizzlies. The big man has averaged 17.4 minutes per game over his last 10 outings, meaning Ochai Agbaji and Orlando Robinson could see an uptick in playing time with Boucher on the shelf.
Feb 3, 2025
Under the weather
Boucher (illness) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing Friday's loss to the Bulls due to an illness, Boucher was able to return for Sunday's 115-108 win over the Clippers, during which he logged nine points, four rebounds and one block over 16 minutes. It appears he is still battling through the illness, which puts him in jeopardy of missing Tuesday's clash. Orlando Robinson and Jonathan Mogbo would stand to see more playing time off the bench if Boucher is not cleared to play.
Jan 26, 2025
23 points in 21 minutes
Boucher dropped 23 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and a block in 21 minutes of action during Saturday's 117-94 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
The big man has been extremely hot and cold off the bench all season, but he's shown that he can score in bunches with limited time on court, as Saturday's outing marked the second time this year he's logged more points than minutes played. Boucher averaged 20.0 points on 70.0 percent shooting from the field and 62.5 percent from deep in 19.5 minutes in back-to-back matchups against the Hawks. However, in the three games prior, he averaged just 4.3 points while shooting just 40.0 percent from the field and 12.5 percent from behind the arc in 14.7 minutes, making him difficult to trust as a fantasy option going forward.
Jan 21, 2025
Confirmed as available
Boucher (illness) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Magic, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite conflicting reports, Boucher seems good to go Tuesday after dealing with an illness. Boucher averages 13.2 points and 7.4 rebounds in 20.2 minutes across his last five outings.
Jan 21, 2025
Conflicting reports on status
Despite previous reports, Boucher (illness) is listed as available on the injury report for Tuesday's game versus the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca and Esfandiar Braheni of The Athletic have both reported that Boucher will sit out Tuesday due to an illness, but the Raptor's official injury report and the daily lineups page on NBA.com both indicate that Boucher is available. Due to this conflicting information, it remains to be seen if Boucher will ultimately suit up against Orlando.
Jan 21, 2025
Won't play Tuesday
Boucher (illness) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Magic, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to an illness. His next chance to suit up is Thursday's matchup with Atlanta.
Jan 20, 2025
Sits out practice
Boucher (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Orlando, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was unable to practice Monday and is considered day-to-day. He's played an average of 16.0 minutes over his last two appearances, as Kelly Olynyk is starting to become more involved with the Raptors.
Jan 14, 2025
Another double-digit scoring effort
Boucher finished with 18 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 22 minutes during Monday's 104-101 victory over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been running hot and cold all season. He's on a good stretch right now, racking up double-digit points in four straight outings, including 10 points in four minutes to kick things off. During these four performances, the veteran has averaged 16.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 18.3 minutes while shooting 75.8 percent from the field -- much higher than his season-long efficiency of 49.6 percent.
Jan 2, 2025
Used sparingly in win
Boucher registered three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound across five minutes during Wednesday's 130-113 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Boucher barely touched the floor, shifting down in the rotation with the Raptors now presenting a relatively healthy roster. Assuming the team can remain largely injury-free, Boucher will likely struggle to play meaningful minutes on a nightly basis.
Dec 24, 2024
Steps up with efficient 16 points
Boucher totaled 16 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 19 minutes during Monday's 139-125 loss to New York.
ANALYSIS
With starting center Jakob Poeltl (groin) out Monday, Boucher stepped up for the Raptors with an efficient 16 points as well as a full stat line off the bench. Through his last 12 contests, Boucher is averaging 9.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 17.6 minutes. If Poeltl misses Toronto's next game Thursday against Memphis, Boucher would be worth streaming in deep fantasy leagues for a decent dose of boards, triples and defensive stats, but he'd still likely remain in a timeshare with Jonathan Mogbo and Kelly Olynyk at the five.
Dec 17, 2024
Double-doubles off bench
Boucher provided 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds and one block in 21 minutes during Monday's 122-121 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Despite being healthy, Boucher didn't appear in any of Toronto's previous three games. However, he was thrust into an expanded role late in Monday's 122-121 loss to the Bulls after Jakob Poeltl (groin) left the contest. Poeltl is set for an MRI to determine the exact severity of the injury, but if he misses time, Boucher should have a consistent role in the frontcourt, splitting time with Kelly Olynyk and Jonathan Mogbo. When Boucher has played 20-plus minutes this season (10 games), he's averaged 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks in 22.3 minutes per game.
Dec 4, 2024
Non-factor in win Tuesday
Boucher finished Tuesday's 122-111 win over the Pacers with six points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher offered very little Tuesday, continuing his recent run of low production. He has scored no more than 10 points in each of the past six games, adding three total blocks. The Raptors continue to deal with injuries to multiple players, yet Boucher has been unable to carve out a consistent role. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, it appears as though Boucher would need a minor miracle to have any chance of playing a significant role moving forward.
Nov 22, 2024
Leads from three off bench in win
Boucher provided 22 points (7-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), four rebounds, one block and two steals over 26 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Boucher put together one of his best outings of the season Thursday, coming off the bench and leading all Raptors players in threes made while surpassing the 20-point mark in a winning effort. Boucher has connected on at least three threes in four outings this season, now having reached 20 or more points in two contests.
Nov 17, 2024
Leads bench with 15 points
Boucher logged 15 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and four rebounds in 20 minutes during Saturday's 126-123 overtime loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Boucher ended Saturday's game as the Raptors' third-leading scorer behind Jakob Poeltl (35) and RJ Barrett (25). Boucher has reached double-digit points in seven of his last 10 outings, and over that span he has averaged 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds over 18.6 minutes per game.
Nov 11, 2024
Productive off bench Sunday
Boucher produced 18 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 123-103 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been making the most of his minutes in recent games, and the veteran forward is making a strong case to see even more playing time with how he's been playing. He's scored in double digits in four of his last five outings, averaging 15.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in that stretch.
Nov 7, 2024
Provides spark off bench
Boucher chipped in 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 122-107 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
With Kelly Olynyk (back) still sidelined, Boucher continues to operate as one of Toronto's primary bench options in the frontcourt. However, Boucher has been putting up inconsistent production, as he has scored 13 or more points in four of his nine appearances, but also four or fewer points in four outings. This season, Boucher is averaging 10.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 18.1 minutes.
Nov 3, 2024
Adds 24 points off bench
Boucher had 24 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 25 minutes during Saturday's 131-128 overtime victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was finally able to capitalize on his recent uptick in playing time, posting a season-high 24 points while drilling 69.2 percent of his attempts from the field. The opportunities should continue to be there for the 31-year-old until Scottie Barnes (orbital) returns to health, which could be at least a few more weeks.
Nov 2, 2024
Empty performance Friday
Boucher chipped in nine points (3-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 14 minutes during Friday's 131-125 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher continues to play a handful of extra minutes due to injuries, although he has been unable to make the most of his opportunity. The fact he is not measuring up even with three key pieces sidelined does not bode well for his production moving forward. At this point, it appears as though his best days are behind him.
Oct 24, 2024
Leads team in scoring
Boucher finished Wednesday's 136-106 loss to Cleveland with 18 points (5-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 20 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's efficient shooting from behind the arc helped him lead the Raptors in scoring despite coming off the bench. If Kelly Olynyk (back) misses more time, Boucher should continue to operate as a primary backup in Toronto's frontcourt.
Oct 22, 2024
Not on injury report
Boucher (knee) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
After missing Friday's preseason game against the Nets with a mild contusion, Boucher isn't listed on the official injury report. With Kelly Olynyk (back) sidelined Wednesday, Boucher could get the backup center minutes behind Jakob Poeltl, putting him on the streaming radar.
Oct 18, 2024
Exits with knee injury
Boucher will not return to Friday's preseason matchup with the Nets due to a right knee contusion, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
The severity of Boucher's injury is not known at this time. He accumulated 10 points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3PT, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal before exiting. When healthy, he is expected to provide frontcourt depth for the Raptors this season.
Oct 11, 2024
Drops 22 points in preseason loss
Boucher tallied 22 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and seven rebounds in 18 minutes during Friday's preseason loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Boucher turned back the clock in the loss, scoring a team-high 22 points. Following periods of fantasy relevance, Boucher has fallen off a cliff in recent seasons, struggling to play a consistent role for the Raptors. Although this was a trip down memory lane, it does not mean managers should lean into the nostalgia come draft day.
Oct 6, 2024
Leads bench with 13 points
Boucher finished Sunday's 125-98 preseason win over the Wizards with 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds and one block across 18 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was one of seven Raptors players to score in double digits Sunday, five of which came off the bench. He saw his playing time dip during the 2023-24 campaign compared to previous seasons, but the 31-year-old Boucher is looking to make a larger impact off the bench for the upcoming year.
Oct 3, 2024
Improved mindset for 2024-25
Boucher (knee) has done a lot of work this offseason to ensure his mind is in the right place to start the 2024-25 campaign, Michael Grange of sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was reportedly upset with his role last season, averaging just 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 14.1 minutes across 50 appearances, all of which were coming off the bench. While Boucher isn't necessarily slated for an increased role in 2024-25, it seems as though the 31-year-old big man is more willing to accept a depth role.
Apr 13, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Boucher (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Heat, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher last played on March 9, when he recorded 16 points and eight rebounds across 31 minutes in a road loss to the Trail Blazers. The big man missed Toronto's final 18 contests, and he finished the campaign with averages of 6.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game across 50 appearances off the bench. From a statistical perspective, this was Boucher's worst year in the league since the 2018-19 campaign, his second campaign in The Association.
Apr 10, 2024
Out against Nets
Boucher (knee) will not play against the Nets on Wednesday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, as Boucher is considered out indefinitely after suffering a partial MCL tear in his right knee in early March.
Apr 1, 2024
Out indefinitely
Boucher (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers and remains out indefinitely, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher suffered a partial MCL tear in his right knee in early March and doesn't have a return timetable. It wouldn't be surprising if Boucher misses the rest of the 2023-24 regular season.
Mar 11, 2024
Sustains MCL damage
Boucher has suffered a partial MCL tear in his right knee and will undergo further testing in coming days, Kayla Grey of TSN reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is expected to recover without requiring surgery, but more light will be shed on the severity of his injury following testing. Boucher may be dealing with a minor tear, and even if his recovery could be quickened by opting for the surgical path, his decision to heal naturally would be unsurprising in the context of Toronto's 23-41 record and 12th place standing in the Eastern Conference. The 31-year-old is coming off back-to-back double-digit scoring performances, but he has struggled to produce relevant output even after Precious Achiuwa was traded to New York in February.
Mar 11, 2024
Out against Denver
Boucher (knee) will not play in Monday's game versus Denver, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors are expected to be very shorthanded Monday, as Boucher joins Gary Trent (groin) and Immanuel Quickley (hip) on the sidelines. Kelly Olynyk will likely play significant minutes, while Jalen McDaniels could step into a larger role as well.
Mar 10, 2024
Dealing with bruised knee
Boucher is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Denver due to a bruised right knee.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has stepped up over the last two games with Toronto missing key pieces in Scottie Barnes (hand) and Jakob Poeltl (finger), but he could be in danger of missing the first of the Raptors' four games in the week ahead. If Boucher is cleared to play, he should make for a relatively appealing streaming option given that he's totaled 27 points, 17 rebounds, four assists and three blocks over his last two games (55 total minutes). Keep an eye out for an update at shootaround Monday morning.
Mar 10, 2024
Logs 16 points from bench
Boucher finished Saturday's 128-118 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers with 16 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher provided much-needed size and agility to the interior during the loss. Recently, he has played well off the bench during Scottie Barnes' (hand) absence but he has also dealt with his own injuries, minimizing what would have otherwise been golden opportunities with Barnes and Jakob Poeltl (finger) absent. Considering his average of 27.5 minutes over the past two games, Boucher's increased usage should continue if he can stay healthy.
Mar 1, 2024
Good to go against Golden State
Boucher (illness) is available for Friday's game versus the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday despite dealing with an illness. However, the 30-year-old forward has been largely left out of Toronto's rotation.
Feb 29, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Boucher (illness) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to a non-COVID illness. However, his potential absence won't impact Toronto's rotation.
Feb 28, 2024
Won't play Wednesday
Boucher (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is not a consistent part of the rotation, so his absence from the active roster will not impact fantasy hoops. His next chance to play will come Friday against the Warriors.
Feb 28, 2024
Iffy due to illness
Boucher (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been a fringe rotation player for the Raptors, making just three brief appearances in February. His status doesn't carry many fantasy implications.
Feb 6, 2024
Re-enters rotation
Boucher recorded 11 points (4-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block across 12 minutes during Monday's 138-100 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was a healthy scratch in Toronto's last two contests, but he stepped in with efficient offense and active rebounding in a limited sample during Monday's blowout loss. Boucher being phased out of the rotation is an interesting storyline given that the 30-year-old is the only power forward on the roster besides Scottie Barnes, but it appears that Toronto would rather allocate the minutes elsewhere at this time.
Jan 8, 2024
Nears double-double off bench
Boucher recorded 17 points (7-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 16 minutes during Sunday's 133-118 victory over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has had relatively limited production off the bench for most of the year, but he's come within one rebound of a double-double in his last two appearances. He was perfect from the floor Sunday, although it's worth noting that both of his recent strong performances came in games where the score was lopsided after the first half. Across his last eight appearances, Boucher has averaged 7.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game.
Dec 29, 2023
Limited again Friday
Boucher posted three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and three rebounds across seven minutes during Friday's 120-118 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Boucher played fewer than 15 minutes for the 10th consecutive game, scoring just three points. Despite a proven ability to produce fantasy-relevant numbers, Boucher's days of playing meaningful minutes appear to be behind him. At this point, there is no reason to have him on a roster, even in deeper formats.
Dec 14, 2023
Blocks two shots off bench
Boucher finished Wednesday's 135-128 victory over the Hawks with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two blocks across 10 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher played through a recent quad injury, blocking two shots in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. He added just two points to his boxscore, continuing his disappointing season. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Boucher's days of being a viable asset appear to have passed him by.
Dec 13, 2023
Available Wednesday
Boucher (quad) is available for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher suffered a left quad contusion during Monday's loss to the Knicks and didn't practice Tuesday, but he'll still suit up Wednesday. Boucher has appeared in 16 straight games, averaging 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 14.3 minutes during that stretch.
Dec 12, 2023
Officially considered questionable
Boucher (quad) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is dealing with a left quad contusion, which he suffered during Monday's loss to the Knicks. His status could come down to pregame warmups Wednesday. The 30-year-old hasn't been a sizable component of Toronto's rotation this season, logging his smallest role since 2019 at 14.4 minutes per game.
Dec 12, 2023
Doesn't practice Tuesday
Boucher (thigh) didn't practice Tuesday, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher left Monday's loss to the Knicks after suffering a left thigh bruise. His status for Wednesday's matchup versus the Hawks should surface sometime Tuesday night, but he isn't trending in the right direction.

Exits with injury Monday
Boucher has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Knicks after suffering a left thigh bruise in the second half, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was in a funk prior to exiting the contest, missing all four of his three-point attempts and struggling inside against a shorthanded Knicks' frontcourt. Precious Achiuwa will step up in his absence, while Jalen McDaniels could also be re-introduced to the rotation.
Nov 24, 2023
Held to 10 minutes
Boucher closed Friday's 121-108 win over the Bulls with four points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 10 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been limited to 10 minutes in two straight games and is trending down in fantasy basketball. Starting center Jakob Poeltl has been on fire for the Raptors, and Precious Achiuwa has been getting the bulk of the frontcourt minutes for the second unit.
Nov 16, 2023
Misses out on double-double
Boucher accumulated nine points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and one block across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 128-112 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was one rebound and one point shy of notching his first double-double of the season Wednesday. Boucher continues to be one of Toronto's first options off the bench in the frontcourt. The 30-year-old forward is averaging 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 16.6 minutes across nine games so far in 2023-24.
Nov 2, 2023
Productive in limited action
Boucher accumulated six points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 13 minutes during Wednesday's 130-111 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has seen his playing time decrease from 20.0 minutes per game in 2022-23 to averaging 14.8 minutes across his first four appearances this season. He has also yet to make a three-pointer after making 0.8 per contest last season.
Oct 20, 2023
Back to bench
Boucher will return to the bench for Friday's preseason game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
This is an expected move with Jakob Poeltl healthy again. Boucher has played well in the preseason for the most part, and it's likely that he has earned a rotation spot.
Oct 18, 2023
Fouls out Tuesday
Boucher recorded three points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 13 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 106-102 preseason win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Boucher continues to draw starts with Jakob Poeltl (illness) sidelined, a sign that he's slated to be the top frontcourt reserve during the regular season. Boucher showed off his defensive prowess in his limited action but was also a little too aggressive at times. Boucher has an extremely unique skill set, but it remains to be seen if he can handle more than 20 minutes per game and remain effective.
Oct 15, 2023
Starts sans Poeltl
Boucher will start Sunday's exhibition versus the Cairns Taipans of the Australian NBL, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
With Jakob Poeltl (illness), Precious Achiuwa (groin) and Christian Koloko (illness) all sidelined, Boucher will make a spot start during preseason action. Boucher averaged 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds across 76 appearances last year and should see a similar reserve role in 2023-24.
Oct 9, 2023
Scores 11 points
Boucher produced 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 0-2 FT), six rebounds and one block across 21 minutes of Sunday's 112-99 preseason win against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Precious Achiuwa (groin strain) sat this game out, so Boucher was the primary big man off the bench. Boucher is coming off a down season in 2022-23, but with a new head coach, he'll have a clean slate to prove his worth.
Mar 29, 2023
Increased role continues
Boucher recorded eight points (4-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and two blocks over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-92 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Boucher played at least 22 minutes for the fourth consecutive game, a period in which he has been able to flirt with top-100 value. Jakob Poeltl was in early foul trouble, affording Boucher some extra run at the center position, something that managers shouldn't expect to see all too often. While he can be used as a short-term option, even in standard leagues, Boucher should not be viewed as a must-roster asset.
Mar 24, 2023
Thrives in blowout victory
Boucher racked up 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 118-97 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Boucher played in excess of 25 minutes for the second straight game, taking advantage of the fact the game was a blowout. The Raptors were also without a couple of key pieces, affording Boucher an enlarged role. While he has been a disappointment for much of the season, Boucher is worth a look as long as the team is down on troops.
Mar 19, 2023
Meager output in win
Boucher finished Saturday's 122-107 victory over the Timberwolves with five points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 19 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher continues to see a decreased role after the addition of Jakob Poeltl and hasn't played more than 20 minutes since Feb. 25. Over his last 10 games, the undrafted product out of Oregon has averaged 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals-plus-blocks in 14.8 minutes.
Mar 7, 2023
Continues to garner modest role
Boucher amassed four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and one steal across 15 minutes during Monday's 118-113 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Since the acquisition of Jakob Poeltl at the trade deadline, Boucher's minutes and production have dropped slightly. Across his last 10 appearances, Boucher is averaging 8.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 18.4 minutes. While he's experienced a slight downturn in usage, Boucher's efficiency has risen, as he's posting 53/33/77 shooting spilts since Feb. 10.
Feb 15, 2023
Modest production in victory
Boucher had 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 123-113 win over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Boucher did just enough to remain relevant in the win, continuing what has been a productive stretch over the past two weeks. During that time he has been a top-50 player, averaging 12.7 points to go with 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks. Looking ahead, while it is likely he remains in the rotation, he could very well go back to a 15-minute role on most nights. As we have seen already this season, that is not enough to warrant holding him in standard nine-category leagues.
Feb 11, 2023
Scores seven points against Jazz
Boucher logged seven points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes during Friday's 122-116 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had one of his best stretches of the season leading up to the deadline, but the Raptors did not do his fantasy value any favors by adding Jakob Poeltl to their frontcourt. Things are suddenly very crowded up front, so Boucher will need to find a way to get ahead of Precious Achiuwa if he wants to keep his fantasy value afloat.
Feb 9, 2023
Impressive off bench Wednesday
Boucher totaled 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and three steals in 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 112-98 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old big made an impact at both ends of the court, recording his second straight double-double and eighth of the season while delivering multiple blocks and steals in the same game for the first time all season. Boucher's been productive overall lately, averaging 12.7 points, 8.0 boards, 1.4 threes, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals in 22.8 minutes a night over the last nine games while shooting 56.6 percent from the floor and 48.1 percent from three-point range, but his workload and role could decline significantly with the Raptors trading for Jakob Poeltl after Wednesday's win.
Feb 6, 2023
Posts double-double off bench
Boucher totaled 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Sunday's 106-103 victory over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has scored in double digits in four of his last five outings off the bench despite logging less than 25 minutes in all but one of those contests. This was his first double-double since Dec. 19, and while he has struggled with consistency on a game-to-game basis, he is making the most of his time out there. Boucher is averaging 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds across 21.6 minutes per game over his last 10 appearances.
Feb 3, 2023
Blocks three shots in victory
Boucher chipped in 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 23 minutes during Friday's 117-111 victory over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Boucher blocked multiple shots for just the third time in the past 15 games, contributing on both ends of the floor. He has now played at least 20 minutes in three straight games, once again putting himself back in the 12-team discussion. He certainly isn't a must-roster player by any means, although he is worth a look if you think he can stick in a similar role moving forward.
Jan 31, 2023
Steps in as top big man off bench
Boucher finished Monday's 114-106 loss to the Suns with five points (1-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one block and one assist in 24 minutes.
ANALYSIS
With Precious Achiuwa having recently moved into the starting five as a replacement for the injured OG Anunoby (wrist), Boucher has settled back in as Toronto's first big man off the bench. While Anunoby was sidelined for three of the past six contests and averaged just 20.7 minutes in the three games he did play, Boucher has earned between 17 and 24 minutes off the bench in each of those six outings. During that stretch, Boucher is averaging 9.7 points, 7.2 boards, 1.0 three-pointers, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals, numbers that put him on the radar as a pickup in 12- and 14-team leagues in the short term while Anunoby is out for at least the next three games.
Jan 26, 2023
Scores 16 off bench
Boucher chipped in 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's performance against the Kings was just the ninth time he's scored at least 15 points over his 43 appearances this year, and he's also shot 64.7 percent from the floor over his last two appearances. The 30-year-old also contributed on the defensive side of the ball Wednesday with three blocks, matching his season-high mark. He's scored in double figures in just four of 12 appearances this month and has averaged 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game during that time.
Jan 23, 2023
Back in double figures
Boucher contributed 14 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds and three steals over 23 minutes during Sunday's 125-116 victory over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher scored in double digits for the first time since Jan. 14, and he did so by knocking down 66.7 percent of his attempts from the field. He also added five points on six shots from the charity stripe. Boucher is averaging 6.8 points and 4.0 rebounds through 11 January matchups.
Jan 15, 2023
Offers impact off bench
Boucher finished with 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and two steals in 18 minutes during Saturday's 114-103 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's playing time remains highly volatile from game to game, but he's at least regained a foothold in the rotation under head coach Nick Nurse after he appeared to be on his way out of the Raptors' second unit in late December. The 30-year-old is typically a strong statistical performer on a per-minute basis, and even if upside isn't especially high while Toronto has all its key frontcourt pieces available, Boucher could still make for a strong short-term streaming option with the Raptors set to begin a five-game week Monday in New York against the Knicks.
Jan 11, 2023
Productive in limited minutes
Boucher provided 12 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 15 minutes during Tuesday's 132-120 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
It was the first time in six games Boucher scored in double digits. The 30-year-old forward continues to see an erratic role in the frontcourt rotation, with his minutes ranging from four to 22 since Christmas, and even as a DFS bargain option he's tough to trust.
Dec 22, 2022
Minimal production against New York
Boucher recorded two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and three rebounds in 13 minutes during Wednesday's 113-106 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher posted double-doubles off the bench in his last two appearances, but he was held in check while playing just 13 minutes during Wednesday's victory. While it was encouraging to see the 29-year-old's upside recently, his performance against the Knicks was a reminder that he's still a somewhat inconsistent fantasy option.
Dec 20, 2022
Double-double off bench Monday
Boucher posted 13 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 30 minutes off the bench during Monday's 104-101 overtime loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
It's the second straight double-double and sixth of the season for the streaky forward, who continues to see a bigger role in the absence of Precious Achiuwa (ankle). Boucher has scored in double digits in five of the last seven games, averaging 10.4 points, 6.6 boards, 0.7 threes, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 23.3 minutes a night over that stretch.
Dec 19, 2022
Double-doubles off bench
Boucher closed with 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and 14 rebounds across 25 minutes during Sunday's 126-110 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Boucher only needed 25 minutes to record a double-double, and he once again outplayed the starting center, Christian Koloko, despite coming off the bench. Boucher fits better as one of the go-to players in the second unit and is not expected to crack the starting five any time soon, but that doesn't mean he's not a valuable asset in fantasy. He's averaging 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks across 20.7 minutes per game in December.
Dec 10, 2022
Blocks two shots in loss Friday
Boucher finished Friday's 113-109 loss to the Magic with 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher blocked two shots in the loss but once again failed to deliver when it comes to all-around value. After a short period in which he became a must-add player, his role has reverted back to what we saw earlier in the season. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Boucher should be viewed as just a streamer, at least while the team is fully healthy.
Dec 4, 2022
Downward trend continues in win
Boucher registered six points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 18 minutes during Saturday's 121-108 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Boucher logged just 18 minutes in the win, continuing his downward trend. After a few games in which he was able to crash the 12-team fantasy scene, he has seen his role revert back to what we saw to open the season. While we know what he can do when afforded additional playing time, he is a tough player to hold right now. Keep an eye on the injury situation moving forward and should an opportunity arise once again, Boucher would be worth swooping on.
Nov 27, 2022
Posts third straight double-double
Boucher ended with 22 points (10-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 13 rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 105-100 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher reached the 20-point mark for just the third time this season on Saturday, connecting on a season-high 10-of-19 field goal attempts as Toronto kept Dallas at bay down the stretch. Ten of Boucher's 22 points came in the first quarter on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, as did six of his game-high 13 rebounds. The Raptors forward played a huge role off the bench and has now recorded a double-double in three straight contests.
Nov 24, 2022
Active off bench Wednesday
Boucher chipped in 12 points (2-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 16 rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 112-98 loss to Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was a monster on the glass and while he posted another double-double, his second in a row and third over his last five appearances, he had an awful showing in terms of shooting since he needed 15 shots and eight trips to the charity stripe only to score 12 points. Regardless of the lack of efficiency, Boucher is leaving his slow start to the season in the rearview and is averaging 17.2 points with 9.8 rebounds off the bench across his last five outings.
Nov 22, 2022
Off injury report
Boucher (illness) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
After one missed game, Boucher will be back Wednesday. He's played well over his past four appearances, averaging 18.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 28.8 minutes. He should continue seeing elevated usage for as long as Pascal Siakam (adductor) and Precious Achiuwa (ankle) remain out.
Nov 21, 2022
Practicing Monday
Boucher (illness) participated in Monday's practice session, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher missed Saturday's loss to the Hawks due to a non-COVID illness, but it sounds like he is recovering well ahead of Toronto's next game Wednesday against the Nets. Assuming Boucher clears the injury report before then, he should return to his usual role in the frontcourt rotation behind starter Scottie Barnes.
Nov 18, 2022
Ruled out Saturday
Boucher has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Atlanta due to a non-COVID illness, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher appeared in each of the last 13 games, but he'll be sidelined due to his illness Saturday. However, he'll have several days to recover before the Raptors return home to face the Nets on Wednesday. Otto Porter (toe) will also be unavailable Saturday, so Scottie Barnes and Thaddeus Young should see plenty of run in the frontcourt.
Nov 16, 2022
Secures second double-double
Boucher notched 15 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 112-104 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Boucher notched his second double-double of the 2022-23 campaign by shooting the ball well from the field and by crashing the glass. He collected eight of his 10 rebounds on the defensive end, leading his team in that category. Boucher has now scored in double figures in four straight contests and has recorded at least one steal in each matchup.
Nov 14, 2022
Continues scoring success
Boucher closed with 20 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 115-111 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been rolling on the offensive end, and he enjoyed another efficient shooting night Monday on the way to a victory. He's finished with 19 or more points in each of his last three contests, and he's also been a factor on the defensive end by recording at least one steal over this brief stretch.
Nov 12, 2022
Breaks out with 20-point game
Boucher produced 20 points (6-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 132-113 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has yet to start a game for Toronto and was enduring a rough stretch -- he scored a combined 10 points over his previous three outings -- before delivering a season-best scoring output here. Boucher has scored at least 17 points in three of his last six contests, but he lacks consistency on a game-to-game basis to become a reliable fantasy asset in most formats.
Nov 8, 2022
Comes up empty Monday
Boucher amassed zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and three rebounds in 14 minutes during Monday's 111-97 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Boucher hadn't tallied fewer than eight points in a game prior to Monday's effort, so it's best to view this as an outlier showing. Boucher still averages 10.5 points and 4.8 boards per game in just over 20 minutes per contest and should remain a consistent part of the team's rotation moving forward.
Nov 5, 2022
Logs season-high usage
Boucher provided 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one block across 30 minutes during Friday's 111-110 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Prior to Wednesday, Boucher had failed to attempt 10-plus field goals in a contest. He launched a season-high 13 attempts Friday, while providing his most well-rounded stat line yet. Boucher is a candidate to carry his momentum into a strong contest Sunday, especially if Pascal Siakam (groin) sits.
Nov 3, 2022
Crushes Spurs in blowout win
Boucher contributed 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 143-100 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Boucher turned in another productive effort Wednesday, popping for a season-high 17-and-8. While this is certainly a well-rounded fantasy line, the opposition needs to be factored in. He is now a top-80 player for the season, although the bulk of his value is coming from efficiency and a lack of turnovers. We know he can be productive even in limited minutes and so while he is not necessarily a must-roster player, he can be streamed in across most competitive formats.
Oct 31, 2022
Another productive night Monday
Boucher chipped in 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 139-109 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher logged at least 20 minutes for the second straight game, flashing his per-minute upside in the process. While this does feel like his ceiling in terms of playing time, we have seen him put up 12-team value in the past, despite playing just 20 minutes. He is more of a name to watch right now but he could certainly be streamed in if you are feeling lucky.
Oct 24, 2022
Available Monday
Boucher (hamstring) will be available for Monday's game against the Heat, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the first three games of the season, Boucher was trending in the right direction prior to Monday's matchup. He apparently felt good after the Raptors' morning shootaround Monday and has been cleared to make his season debut against Miami. The 29-year-old could be in line for a significant workload since Otto Porter (hamstring) is out and Scottie Barnes (ankle) is a game-time decision.
Oct 24, 2022
Expecting to play Monday
Boucher (hamstring) said he's expecting to be cleared for Monday's contest against the Heat, but the team will likely wait until after shootaround to decide his official status, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has missed the first three games of the campaign due to a hamstring injury and is officially listed as questionable for Monday's contest, per Blake Murphy of The Athletic. If Boucher is cleared to make his season debut, he could have a sizable role in his first game with Otto Porter (hamstring) already ruled out and Scottie Barnes (ankle) unlikely to play.
Oct 24, 2022
Chance to play Monday
Boucher (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's contest against the Heat, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has missed the Raptors' first three games of the campaign due to a hamstring injury, but he'll have a chance to make his season debut Monday. If available, he could see an increased role with Otto Porter (hamstring) out and Scottie Barnes (ankle) unlikely to play.
Oct 22, 2022
Out again
Boucher (hamstring) will not play in Saturday's matchup with the Heat, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's absence will mark his third straight game missed to star the season. In his absence, Khem Birch and Precious Achiuwa figure to be the primary options for frontcourt depth.
Oct 21, 2022
Out Friday
Boucher (hamstring) will miss Friday's tilt against the Nets, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher missed Wednesday's season opener due to the same injury and will miss the first half of the back-to-back set Friday. Khem Birch, who also missed Wednesday's contest, will play Friday and will share the backup center duties with Precious Achiuwa and Christian Koloko.
Oct 20, 2022
Questionable Friday
Boucher (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's matchup against Brooklyn, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher didn't play during Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Cavaliers but will have a chance to make his season debut during the first half of a back-to-back set Friday. Otto Porter (hamstring) has already been ruled out against the Nets, so it's possible that Boucher handles increased run if he's able to suit up Friday.
Oct 19, 2022
Ruled out Wednesday
Boucher (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday's season opener versus the Cavaliers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has now been downgraded from questionable to out for Wednesday's game. With Boucher and Khem Birch (knee) out, Precious Achiuwa and Thaddeus young are in line for extended minutes as frontcourt bench options, with Juancho Hernangomez even being an option if injuries or foul trouble disrupt the rotation.
Oct 18, 2022
Officially labeled doubtful
Despite a report suggesting Boucher (hamstring) was questionable for the opener, he is officially listed as doubtful for the tilt, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher reportedly seemed to be in an okay spot to suit up after taking part in practice Monday, but his doubtful designation on the injury report tells a different story. Unless he receives an upgrade later, the big man will presumably miss the opener.
Oct 18, 2022
Questionable for Opening Night
Boucher (hamstring) holds a questionable tag for the opener Wednesday versus the Cavaliers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was initially ruled out for the opener due to a hamstring issue that was expected to cost him a "couple of weeks," but he took part in practice Monday and appears to have pushed his potential return date up. Official word on his status for the opener should surface sometime Wednesday. If available, Boucher could shoulder a sizable bench workload with both Otto Porter (hamstring) and Khem Birch (knee) ruled out.
Oct 17, 2022
Practices Monday
Boucher (hamstring) participated in Monday's practice session, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Nick Nurse said Friday that Boucher was expected to remain out for "a couple of weeks," but Nurse said after Monday's practice session that he hopes the forward will be available for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the 76ers. Even if Boucher is held out Wednesday, it seems likely that he'll be cleared to return early in the year.
Oct 14, 2022
Won't be available for opener
Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said Friday that Boucher is expected to be out for "a couple of weeks" due to a left hamstring strain, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Nurse initially told reporters on Wednesday that he was hopeful Boucher would be available for the regular-season opener, but that no longer seems feasible considering the latest update. At this point, Boucher figures to miss at least the first week of the regular season as he continues to recover, but he could return some time during the second week of the season if he can avoid setbacks.
Oct 12, 2022
Hopeful for regular-season opener
Coach Nick Nurse said Wednesday that he hopes Boucher (hamstring) will be able to return for the Raptors' regular-season opener against the Cavaliers on Oct. 19, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher missed Sunday's exhibition matchup against the Bulls due to his left hamstring strain and will be unavailable for Friday's preseason finale against Boston. While Nurse acknowledged that Boucher's status to begin the year is somewhat uncertain, the 29-year-old is at least in the mix for the regular-season opener.
Oct 9, 2022
Won't play Sunday
Boucher has been ruled out for Sunday's preseason game against the Bulls due to a left hamstring strain, Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
ANALYSIS
The extent of Boucher's injury remains unclear, but he'll have just one more opportunity to play in the preseason before the Raptors open the regular season against Cavaliers on Oct. 19. The talented big man signed a three-year $35 million deal with Toronto this offseason and is expected to see a sizable role off the bench if he's available to begin the 2022-23 campaign.
Oct 3, 2022
Posts double-double in win
Boucher had 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 14 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 114-82 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Boucher led the Raptors in scoring in this preseason debut and was the only player who ended with a double-double. All signs point to Boucher competing with OG Anunoby for a starting role but even if he comes off the bench, he should see regular minutes on a nightly basis.

He signed a three-year, $35 million contract in the offseason and should continue to see roughly 20 minutes per game off the bench as an option at both power forward and center.
Jun 30, 2022
Staying in Toronto
Boucher and the Raptors agreed Thursday to a three-year, $35.25 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had a bit of a down year last season compared to his 2020-21 campaign, but he's still shown promise as a three-and-D big. Over the past two campaigns, he's averaged 11.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while hitting 1.1 threes at 34.1 percent across 22.5 minutes. The 29-year-old will presumably continue playing a similar role
Apr 29, 2022
Big double-double in Game 6
Boucher amassed 25 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 32 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 132-97 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
He led the Raptors in scoring, but the team's defense let them down as they bowed out of the postseason. The double-double was Boucher's only one in six playoff games this year, and he averaged 11.2 points, 5.8 boards, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 threes in 21.7 minutes against Philadelphia, albeit while shooting an impressive 61.9 percent from the floor. Boucher is an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, but given how well he fits into the Toronto frontcourt, it seems unlikely he'll head elsewhere unless the 29-year-old gets an overwhelming offer from another club.
Apr 19, 2022
Near double-double off bench
Boucher contributed 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3PT), eight rebounds and two blocks in Monday's 112-97 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
After averaging 10.9 points per game on 41.6 shooting from the field over his last 10 contests, Boucher was extremely efficient off the bench on both sides of the ball. The Oregon product saw his playtime double from Game 1 as rookie forward Scottie Barnes (ankle) was ruled out of Game 2.
Apr 11, 2022
Leads Raptors in loss
Boucher closed Sunday's 105-94 loss to the Knicks with 21 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher came off the bench in the regular-season finale but had a bigger role due to the fact that most starters were rested -- he logged more than 30 minutes for the first time since late March and responded with his third-best scoring output of the campaign. Pascal Siakam should be back in the lineup for the postseason series against the 76ers, but Boucher should still be an option off the bench even if his fantasy upside isn't very high.
Apr 5, 2022
Back in double figures
Boucher finished Tuesday's 118-108 win over the Hawks with 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and one steal over 22 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's 18 points were his most since March 21 and his first double-digit outing since March 26. His workload has been in flux all season, and that's still the case down the stretch. He's a risky fantasy option on a game-to-game basis but his numbers often pan out well over the course of a week. Since the beginning of March, he's averaging 10.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 combined steals-plus-blocks in 23.6 minutes.
Mar 27, 2022
Another double-double
Boucher closed Saturday's 131-91 win over the Pacers with 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and 10 rebounds across 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher scored in double figures for a fourth straight game and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds en route to his third double-double over his past four appearances. Across 14 appearances (one start) in March, the talented big man has averaged 11.2 points and 8.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game. Khem Birch continues to draw starts at center for the Raptors, but Boucher and Precious Achiuwa have been more productive fantasy options off the bench.
Mar 25, 2022
Delivers 17 against Cavs
Boucher totaled 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and three steals in 33 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 117-104 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The 29-year-old big just missed recording his third straight double-double, but Boucher made up for it by scoring in double digits for the fifth time in the last seven games. His court time remains occasionally frustrating in Nick Nurse's fickle rotation, but over the last 10 games Boucher is averaging a useful 12.2 points, 7.7 boards, 1.1 threes, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks.
Mar 22, 2022
Double-doubles in loss
Boucher racked up 19 points (8-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 113-99 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Boucher recorded his second straight double-double Monday, making the most of the fact two starters were sitting out. It's been another up and down season for Boucher, his playing time fluctuating on seemingly a nightly basis. Based on what we have seen during his career, he really needs others to be sidelined to have a crack at sustainable value. While he is worth adding right now, do keep an eye on the injury report moving forward.
Mar 19, 2022
Unproductive in Friday's loss
Boucher closed Friday's 128-123 overtime loss to the Lakers with six points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and five rebounds in 17 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's roller-coaster season continued in the loss, scoring just six points for the second straight game. Coming off a season-best performance against the Nuggets last Saturday, things have slowed considerably for Boucher. With so much uncertainty from one game to the next, managers battling in their playoffs are fine to move on from Boucher, although do keep an eye on his role moving forward.
Mar 13, 2022
Big double-double off bench
Boucher provided 21 points (8-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Saturday's 127-115 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
The double-double was Boucher's seventh of the season and first since Feb. 3. The 29-year-old big continues to see erratic court time in Nick Nurse's rotation, with production to match, but Boucher's ability to pop for big numbers when he gets some run make him a viable DFS tournament option.
Mar 9, 2022
Moves back to bench
Boucher will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Fred VanVleet (knee) set to rejoin the starting lineup after a five-game absence, Boucher will shift back to a reserve role. The 28-year-old posted 21 points in his last appearance and is averaging 9.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game this season.
Mar 6, 2022
Drops 21 points as starter
Boucher racked up 21 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's 104-96 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher took on a starting role Sunday since Fred VanVleet (knee) and Malachi Flynn (hamstring) were sidelined, and he topped 20 points for the fourth time this season while coming within three rebounds of a double-double. With Flynn out indefinitely, Boucher's role going forward will be dependent on when VanVleet is able to return to the court. Boucher has been a solid fantasy contributor as a starter this year and should continue to see increased value if he draws additional starts.
Mar 6, 2022
Joins starting lineup
Boucher is starting Sunday's game against the Cavaliers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Fred VanVleet (knee) and Malachi Flynn (hamstring) sidelined Sunday, Scottie Barnes will start at point guard, which will open up a spot in the starting lineup for Boucher. He hasn't started since Jan. 25 but has averaged 6.3 points and 6.6 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game across his last seven appearances.
Mar 1, 2022
Fails to impress in victory
Boucher recorded eight points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and six rebounds over 19 minutes during Tuesday's 109-108 win over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Boucher logged his typical amount of minutes but was unable to bring much to the table Tuesday. The arrival of Thad Young has complicated matters for Boucher, especially when it comes to his fantasy upside. Along with Khem Birch and Precious Achiuwa, it appears the four players are simply going to cut into each other's playing time making them all tough players to trust in highly competitive leagues.
Feb 11, 2022
Joins the fun
Boucher registered 16 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes during Thursday's 139-120 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
In a contest highlighted by an abundance of offense on both sides, Boucher shredded Houston inside, attempting a team-high eight free throws. The 29-year-old is a quality free-throw shooter, with a career clip of 78.4 percent. However, the Raptors acquired Thaddeus Young at the deadline Thursday, which will do no favors for Boucher's usage. His role is worth monitoring, but that acquisition dents any deep league appeal Boucher possessed.
Feb 5, 2022
Comes close to double-double
Boucher posted 11 points (4-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 19 minutes during Friday's 125-114 win over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Boucher ended just two rebounds away from posting a double-double, but perhaps what's even more impressive is the fact that he was perfect from the field in what turned out to be an excellent display of efficiency. He scored in double digits for the second game in a row, but he's been playing off the bench of late and his production has taken a dive as a result. He's only averaging 7.0 and 5.5 rebounds per game over his last six appearances while logging 20.7 minutes per contest in that span.
Jan 26, 2022
Cools down in return to bench
Boucher accumulated nine points (3-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and two blocks over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 111-105 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Boucher shifted back to the bench Wednesday but still managed to log significant playing time. Unfortunately, he couldn't turn those minutes into meaningful production, something he has been able to do with some consistency of late. After a bumpy start to the season, Boucher appears to have entrenched himself back in the nightly rotation and that alone makes him a must-roster player in just about every format.
Jan 26, 2022
Returns to bench
Boucher will come off the bench Wednesday against the Bulls, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher started the front half of the back-to-back set Tuesday and put up 12 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks in 30 minutes, but he'll shift back to the bench with DeMar DeRozan (rest) rejoining the lineup. Boucher was playing well even before the spot start and averaged 14.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.6 blocks in 30.8 minutes over the previous five games.
Jan 25, 2022
Starting Tuesday
Boucher will start Tuesday's matchup against the Hornets, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
ANALYSIS
With Fred VanVleet (knee), Scottie Barnes (wrist) and Khem Birch (nose) shelved, Boucher will get the nod next to Precious Achiuwa in the frontcourt. In his prior seven starts, Boucher has averaged 15.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 27.6 minutes.
Jan 20, 2022
Double-doubles off bench
Boucher finished with 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and three steals in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 102-98 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher notched his second consecutive double-double and his third in his last five games. During that stretch, he's averaging 15.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 steals in 34.0 minutes per game.
Jan 17, 2022
Fourth double-double of year
Boucher ended Monday's 104-99 loss to the Heat with 23 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 10 rebounds and two blocks over 38 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Boucher played superbly off the bench, as the center recorded his fourth double-double of the season by leading the team offensively and off the boards. The Oregon product's 23 points were also the most he has tallied since posting 28 points against the 76ers on Dec. 28. Across his past four outings, Boucher is averaging 15.3 points and 9.8 rebounds.
Jan 12, 2022
Double-doubles off bench
Boucher chipped in 13 points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 16 rebounds and three blocks in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 99-95 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was 0-for-3 from deep and is shooting just 22.8 percent from three on the season, but he was able to reach double figures thanks to efficient shooting from inside the arc and numerous trips to the free-throw line. He added a game-high 16 boards and notched his third double-double of the season. The 6-foot-9 big man was also a force defensively, blocking a season-high three shots. On the season, Boucher is averaging just 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, but he is certainly capable of producing explosive fantasy performances.
Jan 9, 2022
Average in win
Boucher supplied six points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 28 minutes during Sunday's 105-101 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Averaging 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, Boucher fell in line with his averages Sunday. He's buoying his value of late, averaging 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks across five games in January. Boucher and Precious Achiuwa and Khem Birch all play similar roles within the Raptors scheme -- detracting each other from fantasy relevance in the process.
Dec 31, 2021
Coming off bench
Boucher will come off the bench Friday against the Clippers, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
With Khem Birch returning from protocols, Boucher will return to a bench role. In his 22 appearances as a reserve this season, Boucher has averaged 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 13.7 minutes.
Dec 28, 2021
Explodes for 28-and-19
Boucher finished with 28 points (10-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 19 rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 114-109 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Boucher put together one of the best games of his career against, of all people, Joel Embiid -- a top defender in the NBA. Boucher had started the past six games before Tuesday's effort with averages of 13.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. While at first glance this seems like it would be Boucher's best game, he posted 38 points, 19 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block against the Bulls in April of last season.
Dec 22, 2021
Wednesday's game postponed
Boucher and the Raptors will not play Wednesday against Chicago after the game was postponed, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With OG Anunoby entering health and safety protocols Wednesday morning, the Raptors are up to eight players affected by COVID-19, putting them in jeopardy of having the minimum number required for the game to go on. As a result, the league will rescheduled the contest, meaning Toronto will now have of until Sunday's game at Cleveland. The hope is that by that time, either players will emerge from protocols or the team will have a sufficient number of replacement players in place.
Dec 10, 2021
Starting again Friday
Boucher is starting Friday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher will join the starting lineup for a second straight game since Precious Achiuwa (shoulder) remains out. He totaled 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 22 minutes during Wednesday's narrow loss to Oklahoma City.
Dec 8, 2021
Moderately productive in spot-start
Boucher recorded 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 110-109 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Bouched moved into the starting lineup Wednesday, walking away with a serviceable performance. While this was a glimpse of what he can do when afforded sufficient playing time, it is certainly not all good news. The fact he managed just 22 minutes on a night when the Raptors were without OG Anunoby (hip), Khem Birch (knee) and Precious Achiuwa (shoulder), doesn't bode well for his long-term prospects. He is worth streaming in while everyone is out, but beyond that, he is likely just a deeper league asset.
Dec 8, 2021
Starting for Achiuwa
Boucher will start Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet reports.
ANALYSIS
With Precious Achiuwa (shoulder) sidelined, Boucher will get the nod at center for his first start of the season. He's coming off of a strong, 14-point, six-rebound effort in just 18 minutes against the Wizards on Sunday night. On the whole, it's been a typically frustrating campaign for Boucher, who's capable of racking up defensive stats at an elite rate but has struggled to earn a consistent spot in Nick Nurse's nightly rotation.
Nov 20, 2021
Finally shows up Friday
Boucher chipped in 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Friday's 108-89 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Boucher recorded his first double-double of the season Friday, teasing us with what we know is a fantasy-friendly game. Playing time remain the issue for Boucher, who up until this point, had been struggling to play more than 15 minutes per night. We have read this book before and so before we go adding him everywhere, let's just wait and see what happens when the Raptors face the Warriors on Sunday.
Nov 18, 2021
Available against Utah
Boucher (back) is available for Thursday's game against the Jazz, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher missed Monday's contest due to a bruised lower back, but he'll return to the court following a one-game absence. The center averaged 5.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game across his last five appearances.
Nov 17, 2021
Questionable Thursday
Boucher (back) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Jazz, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher missed Monday's game against the Trail Blazers but has a chance to return for the first half of a back-to-back set Thursday. If he remains sidelined, Pascal Siakam and Khem Birch are in line for increased usage.
Nov 15, 2021
Says he's sitting Monday
Boucher (back) said he will not play Monday against the Trail Blazers, Michael Grange of Sportsnet reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher did not take part in shootaround Monday morning, and he told the media his bruised lower-back is preventing him from running comfortably. The hope is that he'll only miss one contest, as the Raptors have a pair of off days coming up before their Western Conference road trip continues Thursday at Utah.
Nov 14, 2021
Questionable for Monday
Boucher (back) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher exited Saturday's contest with a sore lower back after just 12 minutes of action. The 28-year-old center had just recently put up a season-high 17 points in 24 minutes against the 76ers on Thursday and hopefully will be alright enough to return to Monday's contest.
Nov 13, 2021
Exits with sore back
Boucher left Saturday's game against the Pistons with a sore lower back and will not return, Paul Jones of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher scored just two points and pulled down a single rebound in 12 minutes prior to his exit. Whether or not he'll be able to take the court Tuesday in Portland remains to be seen.
Nov 12, 2021
Shows out in Thursday's win
Boucher ended with 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 24 minutes during Thursday's 115-109 victory over Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
After almost falling out of the rotation in recent times, Boucher was back at it Thursday, putting up clearly his best line of the season. The Raptors were without both Pascal Siakam (rest) and Khem Birch (knee) and so Bucher was able to spend more time in the lineup. Despite clear fantasy upside, we would need to see Boucher do this when the Raptors are healthy and so making the move to pick him up is not necessarily the best move.
Oct 22, 2021
Effective in depth role
Boucher tallied 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes during Friday's 115-83 win over Boston.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has come off the bench in each of the first two games of the season, but he's had consistent playing time for Toronto. He was the team's only bench player to score in double figures during Friday's blowout win despite shooting just 36.4 percent from the floor.
Oct 20, 2021
Set to play in opener
Boucher (finger) said he will play in Wednesday's season opener against the Wizards, Michael Grange of Sportsnet reports.
ANALYSIS
On Tuesday, Boucher implied that he'd likely suit up for the opener after missing all of the preseason with a dislocated middle finger, and he reiterated Wednesday morning that he's feeling good and will be available. While the big man hasn't been able to practice or play in any exhibitions, Boucher told reporters that he's not concerned about his conditioning level.
Oct 19, 2021
Questionable for opener
Boucher (finger) is considered questionable for Wednesday's season opener against the Wizards, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Smith adds that the belief is that Boucher will be available Wednesday, which would put him slightly ahead of the "10 days away" timetable coach Nick Nurse offered up on Oct. 12. Boucher has been sidelined since early October after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated finger on his left hand. If he is, indeed, able to play Wednesday, he'd battle Khem Birch and Precious Achiuwa for minutes up front with Pascal Siakam (shoulder) sidelined to begin the year.
Oct 12, 2021
Roughly 10 days away
Boucher (finger) is roughly 10 days away from returning to action, per Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher underwent surgery eight days ago to address a dislocated middle finger, but it sounds like he's already made decent progress and could be set to only miss one or two regular-season contests. The 10-day timetable seemingly rules Boucher out of the opener next Wednesday versus Washington, but he could potentially be back on the floor for Friday's game at Boston.
Oct 4, 2021
Undergoes surgery
Coach Nick Nurse said Monday that Boucher recently underwent surgery on his dislocated left middle finger, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks following his procedure, so he could be forced to miss some time early in the regular season. Precious Achiuwa and Freddie Gillespie are in line for increased run while the 28-year-old is sidelined.
Oct 3, 2021
Unavailable Monday
Boucher (finger) has been ruled out for Monday's preseason game against Philadelphia, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher sat out Saturday's practice with a dislocated left middle finger, and it's not a surprise to see he won't be available to play a couple days later. The 28-year-old has a few weeks to get healthy before the start of the regular season.
Oct 2, 2021
Has dislocated finger
Boucher has a dislocated finger and did not practice Saturday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It's not clear when Boucher will suit up again. It seems possible, if not likely, that he'll sit out Monday's preseason opener against the 76ers.
May 27, 2021
Won't play for Team Canada
Boucher wrote on his personal Twitter page Thursday that he will not play for Team Canada at the Tokyo Olympics as he continues to rehab his knee.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was supposedly healthy at the close of the regular season for Toronto, but he didn't crack the late-season rotations as Toronto was not trying to make the playoffs. The 28-year-old missed nine games late in the season due to a sprained left knee, which is the injury he referenced in his Twitter post. "To all my Team Canada fans asking why I'm not on the roster- I'm disappointed that I won't be playing this summer but I've decided to take the time to continue rehabbing my knee to make sure I'm 100% next season," Boucher said. The injury shouldn't continue to hamper him in the 2021-22 season.
May 13, 2021
Warms the bench Thursday
Boucher (coach's decision) did not see the floor in Thursday's 114-102 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had been listed as out for Thursday's game, before being upgraded to questionable and then receiving the green light to play. Despite all this, coach Nick Nurse did not play him and instead relied on a rotation of eight players. Boucher will presumably play Friday against Dallas, but it's unclear what Toronto may do at this late stage of the season.
May 13, 2021
Coming off bench Thursday
Boucher (knee/rest) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is not starting despite a wide variety of players being unavailable for Toronto. He should still see a good amount of minutes in the bench role.
May 13, 2021
Will play Thursday
Boucher (knee/rest) will play Thursday against Chicago, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had previously been ruled out of the front end of the back-to-back, but he will now be available. He could be in line for a significant workload Thursday with a wide array of Raptors already ruled out.
May 13, 2021
Upgraded to questionable
Boucher (knee/rest) is now listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Previously, the Raptors had ruled Boucher out for maintenance purposes on the front end of a back-to-back, but it looks like they may reverse course and allow the big man to play. A final call likely won't come until close to game-time, but if Boucher does play, he'll likely be set for a high minute total. On Tuesday against the Clippers, Boucher played 37 minutes and finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block.
May 12, 2021
Won't play Thursday
Boucher (rest) will not be available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
ANALYSIS
After making his return and playing 37 minutes in Tuesday night's loss to the Clippers, Boucher will sit out as the Raptors head into a Thursday/Friday back-to-back set. It's possible Boucher could return Friday night -- or for Sunday's finale against Indiana -- but with the Raptors eliminated from playoff contention nothing is guaranteed.
May 11, 2021
Returns to play 37 minutes
Boucher scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, one steal and one block across 37 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher returned from a nine game absence caused by a left knee sprain. He forced up 15 shots, but struggled in particular from three-point range and appeared to have some rust. Given the workload he received, it appears that Boucher could have a strong close to the season if he can get on track as the Raptors continue to sit out many key members of their rotation.
May 11, 2021
Will play, start Tuesday
Boucher will start Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Andrew Greif of the LA Times reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors will once again be down several regulars, but they'll get Boucher back after a sprained left knee kept him sidelined for a string of nine consecutive games. Coach Nick Nurse confirmed that Boucher will join the starting five, where he'll presumably get the nod alongside Khem Birch, who's been one of the few regulars who hasn't been subject to frequent nights off over the last several weeks.
May 10, 2021
Could play Tuesday
Boucher (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old has missed the past nine games with a sprained left knee, but he may be able to retake the court Tuesday. Boucher could face some limitations in his first game action since April 21 if cleared to face Los Angeles.
May 7, 2021
Out Saturday
Boucher (knee) is out Saturday against the Grizzlies, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A sprained left knee will keep the center out again, and Saturday marks Boucher's ninth straight absence. His next chance to play is Tuesday against the Clippers.
May 5, 2021
Out Thursday
Boucher (knee) won't play Thursday against the Wizards, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher will miss his eighth game in a row Thursday as he continues to heal from an MCL sprain. The main beneficiary of this injury will be Khem Birch who has seen at least 30 minutes of action in six of the team's last seven games.
May 4, 2021
Still sidelined Tuesday
Boucher (knee) remains out for Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors have yet to provide an update on Boucher since he exited an April 21 game against the Nets with a sprained MCL in his left knee, so he shouldn't be expected to return at any point during Toronto's three-game week. Khem Birch will likely absorb most of the minutes at center while Boucher is sidelined, perhaps for the remainder of the season.
Apr 23, 2021
Dealing with MCL sprain
Boucher was diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee Friday and avoided a serious injury, but he should be considered out indefinitely, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old won't have an official return timeline until he moves into his rehab program, so he should be considered unavailable for the near future. Boucher appeared to be in considerable pain after suffering the injury Wednesday, so the diagnosis of a non-severe sprain is welcome news. The final game of the regular season is May 16 versus the Pacers, so there's a possibility he's already played his final game of the season. Khem Birch and Freddie Gillespie should handle the bulk of the minutes at center for Toronto in the meantime, at least until Gillespie's second 10-day contract expires next week.
Apr 21, 2021
Won't return vs. Nets
Boucher exited Wednesday's game against the Nets with a left knee sprain and will not return, Mark Stein of The New York Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher landed awkwardly after going up for a rebound and appeared to tweak his left ankle, however, the Raptors are calling it a left knee sprain. The extent of the injury is unclear at this time, but Boucher had to be helped off the court and appeared to be in a fair amount of pain. Khem Birch and Freddie Gillespie could see more minutes at center for the Raptors if Boucher has to miss extended time.
Apr 21, 2021
Back to bench Wednesday
Boucher will come off the bench Wednesday against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
With the Raptors' key players healthy, Boucher will head to the bench while Pascal Siakam starts at power forward and Khem Birch gets the nod at center. In Boucher's past 10 games as a reserve, he's averaged 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 20.1 minutes.
Apr 18, 2021
Explodes for 31 points
Boucher recorded 31 points (10-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a blocked shot across 35 minutes in Sunday's 112-106 win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Boucher went basket-for-basket with Luguentz Dort in the first quarter, and the shootout with his fellow Montreal native began Boucher's brilliant evening. The myriad of Toronto absences has allowed Boucher to let loose in a starting role, which is arguably where he should have been all along. Boucher will try to replicate his standout performance Wednesday night against the Nets, who are scrambling to fill the hole left by LaMarcus Aldridge's retirement.
Apr 17, 2021
Scores 11
Boucher tallied 11 points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 31 minutes during Friday's 113-102 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors were without Pascal Siakam (rest), OG Anunoby (rest) and Gary Trent (ankle) on Friday, but it did not appear to affect Boucher's production. The 28-year-old's box score nearly matched his season averages of 13.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.9 blocks. Boucher took advantage of his six-foot-nine frame by earning five trips to the free-throw line, the most in his last six games.
Apr 12, 2021
Pulls down 14 rebounds
Boucher went for 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds and four blocks across 30 minutes in Sunday's loss at the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher dominated the glass and the rim protection in this game, but he was also productive on the offensive end since he registered at least 15 points for the third time over his last four appearances. As a result, he now has two double-doubles over his last three appearances. The former Oregon product has started in each of Toronto's last six games and is averaging 16.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game during that span.
Apr 9, 2021
Puts up huge line in loss
Boucher scored 38 points (14-24 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT) and added 19 rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot across 36 minutes Thursday in a loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Toronto had only eight players available for the contest, putting plenty of weight on Boucher and Pascal Siakam to carry the load against the Bulls. The pair combined for 65 points, with Boucher finishing with career-best marks in minutes, points and boards. The double-double was Boucher's ninth of the campaign and first since March 28.
Apr 6, 2021
Scores 19 points vs. Lakers
Boucher recorded 19 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 110-101 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Tuesday marked Boucher's first game with at least 19 points since March 17, where he recorded 21 points against the Pistons. Tuesday's game also marked his best rebounding performance since March 28, where he grabbed 11 boards against the Trail Blazers. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Boucher's performances have been inconsistent. He struggles to put together several great games in a row, and coach Nick Nurse doesn't give him a consistent workload, either.
Apr 6, 2021
Strong defenively
Boucher scored eight points (3-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with five rebounds, three blocks, two steals and one assist across 20 minutes in Monday's win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Boucher struggled mightily with his shot, particularly from beyond the arc. However, he continued to rack up defensive stats and has now combined to record six steals and five blocks across his last two games. Despite that strong production, Boucher is stuck in an inconsistent role, and therefore struggles to reliably produce any stats besides blocks in the box score.
Apr 2, 2021
Starting vs. Warriors
Boucher will start Friday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is making his first start since March 17. In his three starts this season, he's averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 blocks in 26.3 minutes.
Mar 28, 2021
Goes for 18 and 11
Boucher had 18 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds and one block in Sunday night's loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher came off the bench behind Aron Baynes, but he vastly outpaced the veteran, notching his first double-double since Feb. 10. The Oregon product added one block in his 24 minutes, giving him at least one swat in nine of his last 10 games.
Mar 20, 2021
Scores 16 with two blocks
Boucher had 16 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two blocks in Friday's loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Returning to the bench after making a spot start Wednesday at Detroit, Boucher's minutes total took a hit (20 minutes), but he still managed multiple blocks for the fourth time in five games. Over his last seven games, Boucher is averaging 21.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 swats.
Mar 19, 2021
Moving to bench
Boucher will move back to the bench for Friday's game against the Jazz, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher moved into the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, finishing with 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and four blocks in 29 minutes. But with OG Anunoby returning to action, the Raptors will revert back to their previous alignment with Pascal Siakam at center. Boucher's role could take a slight hit, but he still has plenty of upside in DFS contests.
Mar 17, 2021
Thrives in starting role Wednesday
Boucher ended with 21 points (10-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, four blocks and three assists in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 116-112 loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Boucher replaced Aron Baynes in the starting lineup and certainly made the most of his opportunity. Despite playing just 24 minutes per night, Boucher is the 34th ranked player this season. The path to production has been far from smooth and that doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon. His value moving forward is slightly capped due to his inconsistent role and so if you could shift him for a top-40 player, it would be worth considering.
Mar 17, 2021
In starting five Wednesday
Boucher will start Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
ANALYSIS
Raptors fans and fantasy managers alike have been clamoring for Boucher to grab hold of the center spot, but he's only made two starts in 39 appearances. Even so, the rangy big man has still managed to be plenty productive off the bench as a scorer, rebounder and shot-blocker. In his two previous starts, Boucher is averaging a modest 8.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 25.0 minutes.
Mar 15, 2021
Contributes 17 points from bench
Boucher logged 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot across 26 minutes in Sunday's 118-95 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Boucher continues to be a popular fantasy target off the bench for Toronto. He usually enters with the second unit and proceeds to outscore teammate Aron Baynes, but coach Nick Nurse prefers to keep the Oregon product in a reserve role despite his excellent play. Despite this limitation, the center continues to produce and is an every-night fantasy consideration.
Mar 14, 2021
Not on injury report
Boucher (lips) is not on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Bulls, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had to get three stitches in his lip following Saturday's loss to Charlotte, but he's not going to have to miss any time in connection with the issue. Boucher should continue to have an increased role with numerous players in the league's health and safety protocols.
Mar 13, 2021
Receives three lip stitches
Boucher received three stitches in his lip after Saturday's 114-104 loss to the Hornets, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old played 32 minutes and had 16 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds, three blocks and two assists, but he didn't finish the contest unscathed. It's unclear if the injury will affect Boucher's availability for the second half of the back-to-back set Sunday at Chicago.
Mar 12, 2021
Scores 29 points off bench
Boucher had 29 points (10-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks across 30 minutes off the bench in Thursday's loss against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher might have come off the bench for a depleted Raptors team that's dealing with the effects of a COVID-19 outbreak, but the big man still found a way to make a massive impact on both ends of the floor -- he ended just one rebound shy of a double-double while also scoring the second-highest point total in the team. Boucher also scored 30 points in his most recent game before the All-Star break and continues to be a massive weapon in the Raptors' second unit.
Mar 5, 2021
Registers career-high 30 points
Boucher had 30 points (11-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and five rebounds Thursday in a 132-125 loss at Boston.
ANALYSIS
The absence of several key Raptors players allowed Boucher to shine. He logged career highs in points, field-goals made and three-pointers made off 35 minutes from the bench. Boucher will not post elite scoring lines consistently but offers significant fantasy value that makes him a must-have on rosters.
Mar 3, 2021
Drops 18 off bench
Boucher had 18 points (5-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal during Wednesday's loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
After starting against Houston last Friday, Boucher played off the bench in his usual role and posted his best performance offensively since Feb. 6. It was the center's fourth outing with at least 10 points over the past five games. Prior to Wednesday's matchup, Boucher was dropping 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
Mar 3, 2021
Coming off bench Wednesday
Boucher will come off the bench versus the Pistons on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old started in place of Pascal Siakam (COVID-19 protocols) on Friday, but he'll come off the bench Wednesday despite Siakam still being sidelined. Aron Baynes will start at center for Toronto, so Boucher should still see plenty of minutes since the team is missing five players due to the league's health and safety protocols.
Feb 28, 2021
Raptors-Bulls postponed
Boucher and the Raptors won't play the Bulls on Sunday after the game was postponed due to positive COVID-19 test results and ongoing contact tracing among Toronto players and staff, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Toronto previously played Friday against Houston without head coach Nick Nurse and five of his assistants due to the NBA's health and safety protocols, but Pascal Siakam was the only player placed in the protocol at that time. Charania's latest report indicates that the Raptors wouldn't have the minimum eight players available for Sunday's game, so more members of the roster look destined to join Siakam in the protocol. The Raptors are next scheduled to play Tuesday against the Pistons, but that contest suddenly looks to be in jeopardy.
Feb 26, 2021
Starting for Siakam
Boucher will start in place of Pascal Siakam (COVID-19 protocols) for Friday's game against the Rockets, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is getting his second start of the season Friday. During his first start, he played 22 minutes and posted nine points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. In the 23 games that Boucher has seen at least 20 minutes this season, he has averaged 15.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 1.2 assists.
Feb 25, 2021
Grabs six boards in loss
Boucher totaled 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two steals and one block in the Raptors' 116-108 loss to the Heat on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has become a key rotation player in his fourth-season, averaging a career-high 23.3 minutes per game. Due to his increased role, Boucher is averaging career-highs in every statistical category. Even though he has only started one game this season, he has been a reliable fantasy player due to his rebounding and defensive stats, and has become an elite source for blocked shots as he is currently third in the NBA.
Feb 21, 2021
Scores 11 of 17 points in fourth
Boucher played in 25 minutes off the bench and added 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), five rebounds, three blocks and one assist in Sunday's win over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher did most of his scoring in the final period, going 3-for-3 from deep and 4-for-4 overall. He also tied a career best with his five treys. Boucher made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball as well, swatting three shots and snapping a two-game skid without one. In 11 February games, Boucher is averaging 2.0 blocks per game.
Feb 21, 2021
Retreats to bench
Boucher isn't starting Sunday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher started his first game of the season Friday, but he'll return to a bench role Sunday with OG Anunoby back in the starting five. However, Boucher should continue to see ample playing time in relief against Philadelphia.
Feb 20, 2021
Quiet night in start
Boucher had nine points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in Friday's win over Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Boucher finally moved into the starting five for the first time this season, but he was mostly unable to capitalize on the opportunity, as four personal fouls limited him to just 22 minutes of action. Boucher has failed to block a shot in back-to-back games (44 total minutes) for just the second time all season. However, he's still averaging 2.2 blocks per game over his last five, thanks to a pair of five-block efforts against Boston (Feb. 11) and Milwaukee (Feb. 16) in that span.
Feb 19, 2021
Starting Friday
Boucher is starting Friday's game against Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Boucher will start his first game of the season Friday with Kyle Lowry (thumb/ankle) and OG Anunoby (rest) unavailable against the Timberwolves. Boucher has seen a considerable role off the bench this season, averaging 13.4 points and 6.8 rebounds over 23.3 minutes per contest.
Feb 16, 2021
Scores 14 off bench
Boucher had 14 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five blocks and one assist in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The 28-year-old's seven three-point attempts were his second-highest total of the season as he continues to shoot well from deep. Boucher also blocked five shots for the second time in the past three games as he continues to operate as the top big man off the bench.
Feb 12, 2021
Blocks five shots
Boucher recorded 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal in Thursday's 120-106 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's 12 points and six rebounds were nothing extraordinary, but the five blocks were only two shy from his season high. Boucher spent most of late-January as a serviceable but limited backup for the Raptors. However, he has resurfaced with value in February by averaging 15.6 points and 9.3 rebounds across six games.
Feb 10, 2021
Extends double-double streak
Boucher played in 25 minutes off the bench and contributed 17 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 16 rebounds, two blocks and one assist during Wednesday's win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Despite coming off the bench, Boucher extended his double-double streak now to three games. His 16 rebounds were the most the third-year pro has grabbed in a game for his career. Boucher led the Raptors in multiple categories Wednesday including offensive rebounds, total rebounds, blocks and free throws made. Over his last three outings, Boucher is averaging 19.3 points and 12.0 rebounds while playing in 29 minutes per game.
Feb 7, 2021
Scores team-high 29 points
Boucher put up 29 points (10-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-13 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocks and an assist across 33 minutes off the bench in Saturday's loss against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Boucher recorded his first double-double since Jan. 18 -- that was also the last time he surpassed the 20-point mark in a game. His numbers have tailed off following an impressive start to the campaign, but perhaps this performance will allow Boucher to rediscover his early-season form.
Feb 5, 2021
Comes close to double-double
Boucher had 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks across 27 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Boucher had a team-leading plus-15 in just 27 minutes while also ending just one rebound shy of what would've been his fifth double-double of the season. Boucher was coming off four straight games where he couldn't reach the 20-minute mark or surpass the 10-point plateau, so this was clearly a bounce-back performance for the big man, who anchors the Raptors' second-unit most nights.
Jan 31, 2021
Another disappointing night Sunday
Boucher finished with just nine points (3-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds in 18 minutes during Sunday's 115-102 victory over Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was limited once again as the Raptors elected to go with the size of Aron Baynes for the majority of the contest. After a period of fantasy stardom, Boucher has come crashing back to earth in recent times. He is by no means a drop in standard formats but the expectations we had only two weeks ago, clearly need to be adjusted at this point.
Jan 27, 2021
In four-game slump
Boucher is averaging just 8.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 assists in 23.3 minutes across the past four games.
ANALYSIS
After a strong stretch of six games where Boucher was averaging over 20 points and three blocks per game, he's come crashing back down to earth. That's partially due to the re-emergence of Aron Baynes, who has seen 17.0 minutes across the past four games and is putting up decent numbers. It's possible Boucher's workload and production will fluctuate more from here on out.
Jan 19, 2021
Excelling as Raptors' sixth man
Boucher recorded 21 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes in a 116-93 win Monday versus Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's Jan. 8 double-double (23 points and 10 rebounds at Sacramento) commenced a cycle of great games from him. He averaged 20.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks since then. The Raptors often started Alex Len or Aron Baynes at center in those games before they let Boucher log a bench-leading average of 29.0 minutes from that position.
Jan 17, 2021
Continues good two-way production
Boucher recorded 20 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist in a 116-113 win Saturday versus Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Boucher was the Raptors' best bench player across their past five games. He led them in scoring with an average of 20.6 points on a 66.0 field-goal percentage. Boucher also averaged 5.8 defensive rebounds and 3.2 blocks during that span. He could be either a capable sixth man or one of the team's starters if able to retain this productivity.
Jan 14, 2021
Goes wild off bench in win
Boucher recorded 25 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3PT, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes during the 111-108 win over Charlotte on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Boucher went above and beyond in the win Thursday. The forward went 62 percent from the floor and tied his season-high in grabs. Boucher is truly stepped up his play in the past few matches and is quickly becoming the lead man of the secondary-unit in Toronto. He is certainly a viable option moving forward as he gains more minutes with his excellent play.
Jan 12, 2021
Scores five treys on birthday
Boucher had 20 points (7-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and one assist in Monday's 112-111 loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher's five threes made and eight threes attempted both marked career highs for the now 28-year-old. He has currently been a revelation as Pascal Siakam's direct backup, averaging 14.3 PPG while shooting 47.2 percent from deep.
Jan 10, 2021
Solid performance off bench
Boucher scored 15 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and added six rebounds, six blocks and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 106-105 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
One game after dropping a 23-point double-double, Boucher followed it up with a respectable performance and also added six blocks in the process. When Boucher plays at least 20 minutes in a game, he has gone for at least 15 points in four of six games while adding at least five rebounds in each instance.
Jan 9, 2021
Posts double-double off bench
Boucher registered 23 points (9-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and a steal across 29 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been Toronto's biggest offensive threat off the bench, and he showed that once again with a dominant performance -- he posted his second double-double of the year while surpassing the 20-point mark for the third time in the current campaign. Boucher remains a bit inconsistent on a game-to-game basis, but his role as a defined scoring asset off the bench for the Raptors is clear, and he should remain productive as long as he keeps seeing enough minutes.
Jan 7, 2021
Scores nine off bench
Boucher had nine points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3PT, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds in Wednesday's loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Boucher continues to vastly outperform Aron Baynes, but his role has been limited off the bench through the Raptors first seven games. Boucher played 20-plus minutes in three straight contests from Dec. 31 to Jan. 4, but he's totaled only 30 minutes in the two games since. When the workload is there, Boucher is a high-level blocks contributor who also adds points, rebounds and threes.
Jan 3, 2021
Blows up for 24 points
Boucher tallied 24 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds, two steals, an assist and a blocked shot across 29 minutes in Saturday's 120-116 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Toronto's biggest question mark is at center, but the ultimate goal is to get Boucher into the starting lineup. At 6-9, he's a little undersized for the role, which is why Aron Baynes and Alex Len are on the roster. He won't supplant Pascal Siakam anytime soon, so he's the logical future choice at the five, and his performance on Saturday is evidence of his explosive potential. A possible outcome could be a frontcourt tandem of Siakam and Boucher on nights where there isn't a significant size mismatch. In any case, Boucher should be worthy of a roster spot in all formats due to his increase in usage.
Dec 26, 2020
Double-double with seven blocks
Boucher posted 22 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and seven blocks in 28 minutes off the bench in Saturday's loss against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has been extremely productive in his first two appearances of the season, racking up 34 points, 15 rebounds and nine blocks combined while logging under 30 minutes in each of his first two contests. He's not likely to crack the starting five anytime soon, but Boucher might have a big role off the bench for Toronto moving forward -- and that should make him a productive fantasy asset across most formats as long as he's able to keep this up. His next chance to play will come Tuesday against the 76ers.
Dec 24, 2020
Solid in limited run
Boucher posted 12 points (6-8 FG), five rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes off the bench Wednesday in the Raptors' 113-99 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Aron Baynes started at center and dominated the playing time at the position, logging 28 minutes on the night. Despite playing only about half as many minutes, Boucher was the more productive of the two from a fantasy perspective, something that could become a common occurrence thanks to the 27-year-old's superior shot-blocking skills. That being said, Boucher won't necessarily get the opportunity to see his minutes dramatically expand from this level, as Baynes remains the more reliable defender from a real-life standpoint.
Dec 12, 2020
Swats three in preseason opener
Boucher scored nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt) while adding four rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal in 14 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 111-100 preseason win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old saw one more minute of court time than Aron Baynes did in the new-look Raptors frontcourt, and Boucher showed off both his athleticism as a defender and his three-point range. It's not entirely clear how minutes will be divided at center for Toronto with Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol gone, but at least through one preseason game, Boucher and Baynes appear to be well ahead of Alex Len (nine minutes Saturday) in the pecking order.
Nov 22, 2020
Signs new deal with Toronto
Boucher has signed a two-year, $13.5 million deal to stay with the Raptors, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Boucher is coming off a breakout campaign with the Raptors where he played a pivotal role off the bench averaging 6.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 13.2 minutes. With the Raptors signing Aron Baynes, Boucher will likely remain a backup for the time being, but could potentially steal some starts as Baynes has missed 71 combined games over the past two seasons due to injuries.
Aug 12, 2020
Another superb showing
Boucher contributed 19 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds and four blocks in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 125-121 win over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher finished with a career high in made threes and matched his career high in blocks while putting forth another stellar performance from a scoring and rebounding perspective. It remains to be seen how involved Boucher will be come playoff time, but he's likely to see significant time once again during Friday's regular season finale versus Denver.
Aug 10, 2020
Career-best 25 points
Boucher scored 25 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 boards, two assists, two blocks, and two steals in 29 minutes of a 114-106 win against the Bucks on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Boucher set career bests in points and minutes against the Bucks. The second year man took advantage of extended playing time due to Toronto holding back some of its starters. The performance shows he can be a force when given the opportunity, but he's played a total of 22 minutes combined in his team's other five games since the restart. He'll face the 76ers on Wednesday.
Mar 10, 2020
Barely sees action in win
Boucher managed just one block in six minutes during Monday's 101-92 victory over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Despite the fact Marc Gasol (rest) was given the night off, Boucher was barely in the rotation Monday. After a big night last Tuesday, Boucher has come back to earth with a thud and can safely be left on the waivers in almost every format.
Mar 4, 2020
Massive double-double off bench
Boucher finished with 19 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 15 rebounds, two steals and a block in 28 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Needless to say, the 15 boards were easily a career-high for Boucher, who managed his fourth double-double of the 2019-20 campaign. Though he's held a consistent rotational role for much of the last month, the 26-year-old's seen his minutes fluctuate on a game-to-game basis. When allowed minutes, Boucher's thriving, but his inconsistent workload makes it difficult to play him with any confidence in the majority of formats.

Stuffs stat sheet in 17 minutes
Boucher produced nine points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks and two assists in 17 minutes during Sunday's 127-81 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher matched his career high in blocks while finishing one point shy of a double-double. Though he's obviously capable of compiling plenty of counting stats, it's only on an occasional basis. As such, Boucher is merely a dart throw in daily leagues heading into Tuesday's matchup versus the Bucks.

Only eight minutes in victory
Boucher finished with just three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block in eight minutes during Friday's 115-106 victory over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Boucher barely saw the court Friday, continuing to disappoint those who picked him up in competitive leagues. Despite Marc Gasol (hamstring) remaining on the sidelines, Boucher has seen his role disappear over the past couple of games. He possesses a nice fantasy game but the deficiencies are forcing the Raptors to go in another direction in most games. He can be left on the wire barring any major shakeups.

Excels in blowout win
Boucher posted 15 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, two steals and one assist in 25 minutes Sunday in the Raptors' 129-102 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Coach Nick Nurse divvied out the same amount of playing time to Boucher and starting center Serge Ibaka, but that was a reflection of the blowout more than anything. At the very least, however, Boucher is back on the radar in 14-team leagues or deeper now that he's in the rotation again with Marc Gasol (hamstring) out of commission. He's averaging 10.5 points, 5.3 boards and 1.0 block in 17.8 minutes per game in the four contests since Gasol aggravated the injury that sidelined him for a spell earlier this season.

Scores 10 in 15 minutes
Boucher managed 10 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one block in 15 minutes during Thursday's 115-109 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Boucher has seen single-digit minutes in three of his last five appearances. However, the absence of Marc Gasol (hamstring) resulted in a little bit more playing time for Boucher in this one. Still, Boucher has ben held to single digits in scoring in 10 of his last 12 games, and he's only a viable option in deeper leagues.
