Castleton will occupy Orlando's final two-way slot and will provide emergency depth for the team in the 2025-26 campaign. The 25-year-old big man appeared in 26 regular-season games (four starts) between the Grizzlies, 76ers and Raptors in 2024-25, averaging 4.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per contest.

The details of the contract are not entirely clear, though Castleton figures to compete for a two-way spot this fall. The 25-year-old big man flashed down the stretch of the 2024-25 campaign for the injury-plagued Raptors, averaging 7.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game over 11 regular-season appearances. Castleton will try to find a spot on Orlando's bench behind Jonathan Isaac, Moritz Wagner and Goga Bitadze ahead of the new year.

Castleton played a fairly significant role down the stretch of the 2024-25 season for the Raptors, averaging 7.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game over 11 outings with Toronto, but the team has decided to go in a different direction ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. With Castleton now out the mix, Collin Murray-Boyles, Jonathan Mogbo and Sandro Mamukelashvili are set to battle for frontcourt minutes off the bench.

Castleton chipped in 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 FT) and two rebounds over 29 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 125-118 loss to the Spurs.

Castleton started four of his final 12 games of the regular season, averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 22.5 minutes to wrap up the campaign. He signed a standard contract this past weekend after two 10-day deals had expired, and Castleton could be in line for an uptick in playing time as a frontcourt reserve member next season, considering Chris Boucher is headed for unrestricted free agency.

Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reported after the 76ers' 124-110 loss to the Hawks that Castleton is set to sign a standard contract with the Raptors.

Castleton joined the 76ers on a 10-day contract April 3 after his second 10-day contract with the Raptors expired March 25. He played in Friday's loss to Atlanta and finished with 16 points (6-7 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and one steal over 25 minutes, but he'll return to Toronto on a standard contract. Across 10 games (four starts) with the Raptors, Castleton averaged 6.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 blocks over 25.9 minutes per game.

Castleton totaled two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 122-103 victory over Washington.

Castleton dominated the boards in Wednesday's victory over Washington, leading all players with 14 rebounds, which tied his career high. The 24-year-old signed a 10-day contract on April 3 and has served as the backup center to Adem Bona. In his four games with Philadelphia, Castleton is averaging 3.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game.

Castleton is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the 76ers prior to their game Thursday versus the Bucks, NBA reporter Jake Fischer reports.

Castleton will fill the roster spot vacated by forward Marcus Bagley, who isn't expected to be retained after his 10-day contract expired Thursday. The 24-year-old Castleton had most recently been playing for the G League's Osceola Magic, but he's had stints in the NBA this season with the Grizzlies and Raptors. Over his 20 appearances (four starts) between those two teams, the 6-foot-10 center has averaged 4.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 15.3 minutes per contest. Castleton could enter the rotation right away for a banged-up 76ers squad and serve as Adem Bona's primary backup Thursday.

Castleton's second 10-day contract with the Raptors expired Tuesday, and Toronto isn't expected to re-sign him prior to Wednesday's game in Brooklyn, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Castleton saw extensive action with Toronto over the course of his pair of 10-day deals, appearing in each of the last 10 contests while averaging 6.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 blocks in 25.8 minutes per contest. Though the Raptors have the option of signing Castleton to a rest-of-season deal, the team prefers to use the 15th spot on the roster to cycle in a new player on a 10-day contact. Expect the Raptors to sign a new player prior to Wednesday, while Castleton will presumably head back to the G League and join the Osceola Magic, with whom he had been playing before signing his first 10-day deal with Toronto.

Castleton is not in Toronto's starting lineup against Washington on Monday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Castleton will come off the bench Monday due to the return of Jakob Poeltl, who rested during Sunday's loss to San Antonio. Castleton started in four of the Raptors' last six games, and over that span he averaged 8,.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals over 27.3 minutes per game.

Castleton will start Sunday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

With Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley resting, Castleton and Jamal Shead will slide into the starting lineup. As a starter this season (three games), Castleton has averaged 10.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 31.3 minutes per game.

Castleton will come off the bench Thursday night against the Warriors, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.

Castleton drew a spot start Monday with Jakob Poeltl getting a night off, but the Florida product will rotate back to his usual bench role Thursday now that Poeltl is back in action. Castleton played well in his last appearance as a reserve Sunday, finishing with eight points, 12 rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes.

Castleton is starting Monday's game against the Suns, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Castleton will get the nod at center after it was announced that Jakob Poeltl is in line for a night off. Castleton recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes in his last start Friday against the Jazz, showing that he can produce when given an uptick in opportunities.

The Raptors recalled Castleton from the G League's Raptors 905 on Friday. Castleton registered 27 points (12-18 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 43 minutes Thursday during the G League Raptors 905's 120-117 loss to the College Park Skyhawks.

After signing a 10-day deal with Toronto, Castleton will be available to make his team debut in Friday's game against the Jazz, and he could be featured in the rotation with starting center Jakob Poeltl (rest) and reserve big man Jonathan Mogbo (nose) both sitting out. Castleton suited up for Toronto's G League affiliate, Raptors 905, on Thursday, finishing with 27 points (12-18 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 34 minutes. The second-year center has previously made 26 appearances at the NBA level, with 16 coming with the Lakers in 2023-24 and 10 coming earlier this season with the Grizzlies.

The Raptors signed Castleton to a 10-day contract Thursday.

Castleton was waived in order to free up a two-way roster spot for Zyon Pullin. In Castleton's 10 NBA appearances for the Grizzlies this season, he averaged 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.6 minutes.

Castleton (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Castleton carried a questionable tag into Sunday's bout due to a left ankle sprain, but he will ultimately be able to suit up. His availability likely holds no fantasy implications.

Castleton is working through both a left ankle sprain and an illness, which could force him to be sidelined for Sunday's game. He's played just seven minutes across four regular-season outings in a reserve role, so his absence wouldn't make a huge difference for the Grizzlies.

The second-year pro did turn the ball over five times, but he led the Lakers in scoring and four of his 12 rebounds came on the offensive glass. Castleton served on a two-way contract last season for the Lakers and averaged 3.7 minutes across 16 NBA appearances.

Castleton (wrist) played the final 1:19 of Wednesday's 136-124 win over the Grizzlies and didn't record any statistics during his time on the court.

Castleton, one of the Lakers' three two-way players, was cleared to return to action Wednesday after he hadn't appeared at the NBA or G League level since Feb. 10 while recovering from a fractured right wrist. Even with Anthony Davis (knee) sidelined for the second leg of a back-to-back set, the rookie big man out of Florida remained out of head coach Darvin Ham's rotation, as the Lakers relied mostly on small-ball lineups when fill-in starting center Jaxson Hayes (31 minutes) was off the court.

Castleton (wrist) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies.

The undrafted rookie out of Florida had made just seven appearances for Los Angeles this season but has been a standout performer for the G League's South Bay Lakers when available, averaging 16.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals in 28.8 minutes per game over 24 appearances.

Castleton posted four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 109-101 preseason win over the Kings.

Castleton had a limited impact offensively Wednesday, but he was a productive defender off the bench, tying for the team lead in rebounds while also posting a team-high mark in blocks. The 23-year-old is with the Lakers on a two-way deal but also impressed during Summer League play, so it's possible he earns some minutes in Los Angeles' rotation at some point this year.

Castleton totaled 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-3 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists and a block over 29 minutes of Sunday's 104-103 Summer League win over the Clippers.

Castleton put together an impressive Summer League, and left on a high note, recording a game-high in rebounds and tying for a team-high in assists. He has shown an efficient inside game and excellent rebounding instinct throughout the Summer League as well as an ability to create for others. Castleton could make his way into the rotation come the regular season due to his eye-opening play this summer.
