Bumped back to bench
Jenkins isn't part of the starting lineup for Friday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins will come off the bench Friday now that Duncan Robinson (ankle) is healthy. Jenkins should still see some run off the bench. He scored seven and six points, respectively, during his two starts sans Robinson.

Starting Monday
Jenkins will start Monday against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Duncan Robinson (ankle) sidelined, Jenkins will rejoin the starting five. In his previous four starts this season, the two-way player averaged 19.3 points, 8.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 34.5 minutes per contest.

Not starting Saturday
Jenkins is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins played phenomenally as a fill-in starter while the Pistons were banged up, but with Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey healthy and active, Jenkins' minutes could start dwindling. As a reserve this season, Jenkins owns averages of 6.8 points and 1.5 assists per game in 13.4 minutes a night.

Sticks in starting lineup
Jenkins finished with 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 120-112 victory over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Despite the return of Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson, Jenkins remained in the starting lineup Tuesday. While there are certainly more mouths to feed in Detroit now that the roster is getting healthier, Jenkins was once again productive on both ends of the floor. His run as a standard league asset could come to an end in the near future, especially if Thompson moves back into the starting lineup, and when Jaden Ivey (knee) and Tobias Harris (ankle) return from their respective injuries. For now, managers should simply enjoy his production and be willing to go down with the ship.

Nets 26 points with eight assists
Jenkins produced 26 points (11-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four turnovers in 33 minutes during Monday's 127-112 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
The Pistons have now won 10 in a row, and Jenkins has played a key role ever since being inserted into the rotation four games ago. He's pumping out averages of 21.8 points, 7.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 triples, 2.0 steals and 2.8 turnovers per contest over that four-game stretch, making him a must-roster player in fantasy leagues.
Nov 14, 2025
Nets 19 points with eight dimes
Jenkins chipped in 19 points (6-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 114-105 victory over Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins has been on quite a roll over the past three, posting impressive averages of 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 3.0 triples, 2.3 steals and just 2.3 turnovers per contest. Despite Detroit missing key contributors, they extended their win streak to nine games Friday night, which prompted head coach JB Bickerstaff to refer to his guys as "nasty dogs" after the game. When Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press asked Jenkins about his coach's comments, he responded: "We're all nasty dogs, nasty boys, whatever you want to call it. We're mutts. You don't want a mutt in the house, nobody likes mutts."

Dream run continues
Jenkins ended Wednesday's 124-113 victory over the Bulls with 18 points (9-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, 12 assists and two steals over 40 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins continued his fairytale run, leading the Pistons to an improbable victory. Fresh off a career-best performance earlier in the week, Jenkins moved into the starting lineup, replacing Cade Cunningham, who was ruled out due to a hip injury. Jenkins filled in admirably, dishing out 12 assists, ironically, the same amount he had dished out across his entire career up until Wednesday. Should Cunningham be forced to miss further time, Jenkins could make for a viable streaming consideration.

Starting sans Cunningham
Jenkins will start Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
With Cade Cunningham (hip) sidelined, Jenkins will get the starting nod for the first time this season. The two-way player is coming off a career-best performance in Monday's overtime win over the Wizards, during which he posted 24 points (9-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four steals and three assists across 34 minutes.
Nov 11, 2025
Erupts for career-high 24 points
Jenkins racked up 24 points (9-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and four steals across 34 minutes during Monday's 137-135 overtime win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins came out of nowhere, recording a career-high 24 points, while also adding four steals. In what was perhaps the most surprising performance of the season thus far, Jenkins stepped into a much larger role with a number of key personnel on the sideline. His total of 24 points matched what he had put up across his entire career to this point. He could be worth a look for streaming purposes, but only if the Pistons remain banged up.

Adds value off bench
Jenkins finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five assists and three steals over 22 minutes during Monday's 116-95 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins turned in a polished shooting line despite limited opportunities. He shouldered a heavier workload than usual likely due to Marcus Sasser (hip) and Caris LeVert (hamstring) both being ruled out prior to tipoff, as Jenkins had previously logged 15 total minutes across his first two appearances of the new campaign. He also produced on the defensive end by racking up three steals. Jenkins could continue to get extended looks as a reserve until the Pistons get healthier in the backcourt.

Moving to bench Thursday
Jenkins won't start in Thursday's preseason game against the Wizards, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Cade Cunningham (rest) returning to game action, Jenkins will move to the second unit. The point guard got the starting nod in Tuesday's loss to Cleveland, posting 19 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal across 34 minutes.
Oct 14, 2025
Drops 19 in loss
Jenkins finished with 19 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 118-100 preseason loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins took full advantage of starting in this preseason matchup. He was incredibly efficient, missing only one of his field-goal attempts while leading his squad in scoring (tied with Tobias Harris).
Oct 14, 2025
Will start vs. Cleveland
Jenkins will be in the starting lineup during Tuesday's preseason game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins inked a two-way deal with the squad on Aug. 3. He'll get a chance to prove his worth starting alongside Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson, Tobias Harris (rest) and Jalen Duren (hamstring).

Inks deal with Detroit
Jenkins agreed to a two-way contract with the Pistons on Sunday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins will rejoin the Pistons after spending the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way pact. He appeared in only seven regular-season games for the parent club, spending most of his time with the G League's Motor City Cruise. Over 47 G League outings last season, the 23-year-old guard averaged 18.5 points, 6.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 35.7 minutes per game.

Double-doubles in easy win
Jenkins posted 16 points (3-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-11 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists in 26 minutes during Thursday's Summer League 108-88 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Despite his poor shooting display from the field, Jenkins distributed a game-high 10 dimes while also recording a double-double. With Jaden Ivey (lower leg) appearing to be on track to be available for the start of the 2025-26 campaign, Jenkins will likely begin the year in the G League while on a two-way contract.
Jul 13, 2025
Scores game-high 23 in win
Jenkins racked up 23 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block across 23 minutes during Sunday's Summer League 98-83 win against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins was incredibly efficient during his time on the floor Sunday, scoring a game-high 23 points in 23 minutes while missing only three field-goal attempts. The St. John's product led the way along with Tolu Smith, helping Detroit win its second straight game in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Mar 1, 2025
Game-high 28 points in win
Jenkins posted 28 points (9-22 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 1-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds and three steals in 44 minutes during Tuesday's 107-104 G League win over the Motor City Cruise.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins has made 15 three-pointers over his last two G League games, totaling 69 points during that stretch. On the season, he's shooting 36.4 percent from deep on 6.6 attempts per game.
Oct 16, 2024
Scores 13 points vs. Cavs
Jenkins finished Wednesday's 108-92 preseason win over the Cavaliers with 13 points (5-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block over 24 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins got an extended run during the Pistons' preseason finale Wednesday as all five starters played just eight minutes each. While Jenkins wasn't the most efficient from the floor, he did manage to connect on three three-point attempts and finished second in scoring behind Simone Fontecchio (18). As a two-way player, Jenkins will spend most of the 2024-25 regular season with the Motor City Cruise in the G League.
Jul 15, 2024
Erupts for 26 points
Jenkins finished with 26 points (8-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in 27 minutes during Monday's 87-73 Summer League win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins paced Detroit in scoring by knocking down half of his tries from the field and scoring 18 of his 26 points from beyond the arc. The St. John's product figures to split time between the Pistons and the club's G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise, though there may be opportunities later in the season for him to earn regular minutes depending on how the season unfolds for Detroit.
Jun 27, 2024
Agrees to two-way deal with Pistons
Jenkins agreed to a two-way deal with the Pistons on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Jenkins registered averages of 14.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.6 steals per game on 44.6 percent shooting from the field and 85.1 percent at the line during his senior season with the St. John's Red Storm. It's not likely that he'll get much run early in the season, but if Detroit devolves into a dumpster fire again, there could be some opportunity for Jenkins to find meaningful minutes.
