As soon as both John Wall (knee) and Danuel House (back/COVID-19 protocols) are back on the court, he could find himself serving as more of a streaming specialist.

Gordon has been a steady source of offense for the Rockets since returning from injury but he has struggled with efficiency, as he is shooting just 39.5 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from deep over his last eight games. He is mostly coming off the bench in recent weeks, although he is logging enough minutes to remain fantasy relevant even if he's not starting anymore.

Double-teams on star teammate James Harden allowed more chances for the backup guard to shoot from outside, 13 tying his season-high. Gordon's performance has been demonstrative of a recent trend, shooting well from behind the three-point line but not inside of it (39.7 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from three in his last four games).

It was earlier reported that Gordon would enter the starting lineup for Russell Westbrook (rest), though it appears coach Mike D'Antoni has had a change of heart. Austin Rivers will get the nod at point guard in Westbrook's absence.
