He is quickly re-acclimating to Cleveland's offense after a 22-game absence due to arthroscopic knee surgery. The Cavaliers continue rolling, posting a 5-0 record since Mobley returned to action.

Despite a few subpar outings, the second-year big man is still averaging 16.0 points and 10.2 rebounds per game in five March contests.

Mobley supplied 25 points (10-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 41 minutes during Monday's 118-114 overtime win over the Celtics.

It's the third straight double-double and the 20th of the season for the second-year big man, leaving Mobley one short of the 21 he racked up as a rookie. He could have a lot more, however -- the 21-year-old recorded exactly nine boards in four of the last eight games, averaging 19.1 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks over that stretch while shooting 53.4 percent from the floor.

Mobley recorded 12 points (6-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 39 minutes during Wednesday's 117-113 loss to the Celtics.

Mobley didn't have his best shooting performance and ended up with more field goal attempts (15) than points scored (12). However, he still delivered a solid stat line while posting his first double-double since Feb. 10, when he racked up 28 points and 13 boards in a road win over the Pelicans. The second-year big man is making progress compared to his rookie season and is averaging career-best marks in points (15.9), rebounds (8.9) and assists (2.6) per game so far.

Mobley is averaging 20.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per game in February.

Mobley finished Wednesday's 118-112 loss to the 76ers with 23 points (9-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds and one assist in 35 minutes.

Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland were the Cavaliers' best players by a wide margin in this game, but Mobley also posted a strong stat line, even if his shooting numbers were a bit underwhelming, as he ended just one rebound away from posting what would've been his fourth double-double of the month. The second-year big man is averaging 18.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per game across eight February contests.

Mobley closed with 28 points (13-18 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 118-107 victory over the Pelicans.

He had his double-double secured by halftime with an impressive array of finishes. With the help of Jarrett Allen, Mobley and the Cavaliers outscored the Pelicans 46-24 inside the paint in the first half. Mobley is in the midst of the best stretch of his season, posting 17.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.0 blocks in his previous eight games.

Mobley closed Sunday's 122-103 victory over the Pacers with 17 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal over 31 minutes.

Mobley finished as one of five Cavaliers players in double figures in scoring Sunday and was one of two players to haul in 10 or more rebounds in a double-double showing. Mobley has secured a double-double in three of his last six games, including in two straight outings.

Mobley notched his second straight double-double, scoring at least 20 points for the third time in his past four games. Seen as a potential top-50 player this season, Mobley has been unable to live up to expectations, thus far. The second-year big man also extended a streak of games with at least seven rebounds to 11 contests, a span that dates all the way back to Dec. 29. He's averaging 17.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in January.

Mobley accumulated 18 points (9-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 115-114 loss to the Grizzlies.

Mobley has been playing better basketball lately, averaging 16 points and eight rebounds per game over his last five contests. Wednesday marked his first double-double since December 12th. Mobley remains an average fantasy option and should be rostered in most leagues.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft hasn't quite made the second-year leap many anticipated, but he's more or less head steady across the board in the counting-stats categories while taking a notable step forward in his efficiency. His effective field-goal percentage (56.2) and true shooting percentage (58.9) are both up four percentage points from his rookie season.

Mobley has been one of the stars of the weekend so far, delivering an impressive performance in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday and hitting the decisive shot in the Skills Competition. Team Cavs needed to make a half-court shot in less than nine seconds, and the rookie big man nailed that with his first attempt and in only 5.5 seconds overall. Team Cavs defeated Team Rooks in the final round of the event.

Mobley tallied 18 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block across back-to-back wins during the Rising Stars competition at All-Star Weekend.

Mobley, the hometown favorite, was dominant for Team Barry during their championship run in the new format. He tied Cade Cunningham with a team-high 18 points and finished with the most rebounds among all Rising Stars contestants.

The rookie continues to look like perhaps the best and most all-around impactful player in the 2021 class, and he's been a major linchpin in the Cavs' surprising campaign. Since returning from a four-game absence on Dec. 28, Mobley is up to 19.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per game (six games).

Mobley closed with 24 points (11-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds and four assists across 35 minutes during Sunday's 108-104 win over the Pacers.

The rookie is coming into his own after putting together an excellent month of December, where he averaged 14.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 blocked shots over 11 games. His consistent usage puts him squarely in contention for Rookie of the Year, giving presumed favorite Cade Cunningham a run for his money.

Mobley posted 16 points (8-12 FG), eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 36 minutes during Friday's 121-118 loss to the Hawks.

The 20-year-old big man continues his impressive rookie campaign and came up just one dime short of matching his career high. In his past three games since returning from protocols, he's averaged 19.7 points on 61.4 percent shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks in 32.7 minutes.

Mobley totaled 21 points (10-20 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Thursday's 110-93 loss to the Wizards.

Though Kevin Love started in place of Jarrett Allen (COVID-19 protocols) and led Cleveland in both points and rebounds, Mobley had a solid game of his own, exceeding the 20-point mark for the second straight contest. The rookie also notched his 13 contest of the campaign with multiple blocked shots. Mobley leads all first-year players with 48 blocks on the season, and his 1.8 swats per contest is tied for seventh in the NBA.

Mobley amassed 22 points (9-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and seven rebounds in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 108-104 loss to the Pelicans.

Mobley did enough in his return Tuesday but delivered nothing outside of points and rebounds. Obviously, this should be viewed as more of an outlier given the fact he is averaging a combined 2.5 defensive stats per game. The fact he played 30 minutes is a real positive and so fantasy managers should have no hesitation getting him back in their active lineups.

Mobley (conditioning) will start Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, Joe Gabriele of the Cavaliers' official site reports.

Mobley was considered a game-time decision Tuesday after clearing the health and safety protocols, and his conditioning is apparently good enough to allow him to retake the court. The 20-year-old could still face some workload limitations since he hasn't seen game action since Dec. 13, but he should still see plenty of minutes for the Cavs in his return.

Mobley will be a game-time call for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, Andrew Lopez of ESPN reports.

Mobley was cleared from protocols earlier in the day and flew to New Orleans to meet the team. Mobley was efficient from the floor Friday and was one of three Cavaliers to top 15 points in the blowout win over Detroit. The 20-year-old has scored in double figures in each of his six appearances in November and has averaged 17.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in 35.8 minutes per game during that time.

The No. 3 pick of the draft went off for a new career-high during Sunday's road win against the Knicks. Mobley poured in 26 points while shooting a smooth 73.3 percent from the field as well. The rookie has now scored double-digits and recorded at least one block in four straight contests. Mobley is starting to become an interior force early on in his career for Cleveland.

Mobley couldn't produce a third straight double-double, but he still produced a strong stat line while ending as one of Cleveland's most productive scorers in this comeback win. The rookie has already settled into the Cavaliers' starting lineup and is averaging 13.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per game through his first 10 NBA games.

Mobley had 15 points (7-15 FG, 0-2 3PT, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 40 minutes Monday against Charlotte.

Mobley was a workhorse in this one, leading the Cavs in minutes logged on the way to a 113-110 victory. He also notched his third double-double of the young season through eight games, all starts. The USC product has finished in double figures in seven of eight matchups and has also been a force on the glass, averaging 7.9 rebounds over that stretch.

Mobley totaled 12 points (3-10 FG, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two blocked shots and a steal over 34 minutes in a 92-79 victory versus the Clippers on Wednesday.

Though he struggled from the field, Mobley converted all six of this free-throw tries and didn't turn the ball over. The rookie also notched his second double-double in his past three games. Mobley is enjoying a steady start to his NBA career, posting per-game averages of 13.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.0 blocked shots and 1.2 steals through five games.

Mobley recorded 17 points (7-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and one steal across 35 minutes during a 101-95 win Saturday versus Atlanta.

Mobley recorded his first professional double-double. The rookie averaged 15.7 points (on a 56.3 field-goal percentage) and 8.3 rebounds across three games. More unsurprisingly, Mobley has been a valuable contributor on defense. He averaged 3.7 steals-plus-blocks during his freshman year at USC. Mobley has 3.6 of those across the aforementioned three NBA games.

Mobley finished Wednesday's season-opening loss to the Grizzlies with 17 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 38 minutes.

Mobley's NBA debut went fantastically as he was able to make an impact in every part of the game. The third-overall pick of the 2021 draft seemed comfortable offensively as he shot very efficiently and showed playmaking skills that he didn't flash in college where he averaged just 2.4 assists. Mobley looks primed to be a significant contributor immediately and should see plenty of use offensively.

Mobley finished Wednesday's preseason win over the Hawks with eight points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, Mobley saw 33 minutes of action, as the Cavs used only 10 players and appeared to use the game as something of a regular-season preview. While Mobley misfired on all three of his attempts from deep, he showed off the rebounding and shot-blocking potential that make him one of the highest-upside rookies in the 2021 class.

Mobley recorded 10 points (3-7 FG, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 131-95 preseason loss to the Bulls.

While the Cavaliers got destroyed, Mobley was a bright spot in his preseason debut. He got the nod at power forward and delivered a nice two-way statline. His playing time is somewhat murky for the regular season given the presence of Lauri Markkanen, Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love, but if Mobley can continue playing at this level, he has a good chance to at least see minutes in the mid-20s with consistency.

Mobley will start Tuesday's preseason game against the Bulls, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.

The No. 3 pick in July's draft has been running with the first team during training camp, and Fedor notes that Mobley has "the inside track" to the starting power forward job over veterans Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen. Mobley will start alongside Jarrett Allen Tuesday in what will likely be a preview of the Cavs' opening-night frontcourt. Cleveland is particularly intrigued by what Allen and Mobley can provide on the defensive end, even if it means sacrificing the floor-spacing Love and Markkanen provide. "I feel like this year, we're switching up our defense and I feel like it plays to our benefit with two bigs," Mobley said Tuesday. "Jarrett Allen and I are going to try to help each other and protect the paint a lot this year. I feel like that is going to make my job easier and their job easier, as well as the guards."
