Keep up with the latest injuries from the Raptors vs Bucks game on Thursday with our National Basketball Association injury report.Dec 5, 2025
Taken off shelf Friday
Temple finished with zero points (0-1 FG), one rebound and two steals in seven minutes during Friday's 111-86 loss to Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
For those who are wondering, yes, Temple is still part of the Raptors' roster. In what was one of the team's worst performances of the season, Temple moved into the rotation for just the fourth time, with all four appearances coming during garbage time. Clearly, there are zero fantasy implications here.
Nov 16, 2025
Cracks rotation Saturday
Temple notched zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in five minutes during Saturday's 129-111 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Temple moved into the rotation for just the second time this season, failing to record a stat. At this point in his career, Temple is simply on the team to provide a veteran presence, called upon during garbage time only.
Jun 28, 2025
Set to return to Toronto
Temple (knee) intends to sign a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Raptors once free agency opens Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple played in just 28 regular-season games for the Raptors and missed some time due to a back injury and for personal reasons. He played exclusively off the bench and averaged 1.9 points, 1.1 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 0.6 steals across 8.1 minutes per game. The 15-year guard out of LSU will stay in Toronto for a third consecutive season and serve as a veteran depth piece.
Apr 13, 2025
Won't return due to knee injury
Temple has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Spurs due to a left knee sprain, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple suffered the injury late in the first quarter when he got tangled up with Malaki Branham when the latter drove to the basket. Temple had to be helped to the locker room after being checked on by trainers and was ruled out for the rest of the game shortly after. The Raptors are down to just seven available players, so Jamison Battle, Ochai Agbaji and A.J. Lawson will see a heavy workload for the rest of Sunday's contest.
Mar 18, 2025
Logs 20+ minutes Monday
Temple closed Monday's 129-89 loss to Phoenix with five points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Temple played at least 20 minutes for the fourth straight game, an indication of just how silly things have become up north. Despite the fact he is not part of their long-term plans, Temple has played consistent minutes of late. Over the past four games, he is averaging 5.3 points, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 22.6 minutes per contest.
Mar 8, 2025
Plays nine minutes in return
Temple (personal) tallied zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in nine minutes Friday in the Raptors' 118-109 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
After he was away from the team for its last five games while tending to a personal matter, Temple was available Friday in the front end of a back-to-back set. Though he hadn't played in coach's decisions in the Raptors' prior nine games before his recent five-game absence, Temple was called upon to play some light minutes off the bench Friday since Toronto had ruled out eight players due to injury or rest and then had Ja'Kobe Walter (quadricep) exit the game for good in the third quarter. Toronto will likely get RJ Barrett (rest) back for Saturday's game against the Wizards, so Temple could end up moving back out of the rotation.
Mar 6, 2025
Set to return against Utah
Temple has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Jazz, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has missed the last 14 games for the Raptors for personal reasons. It remains to be seen how much time the 38-year-old veteran will play against Utah, but it is safe to assume he won't be a factor from a fantasy perspective, playing only 3.9 minutes per game when available this season.
Mar 3, 2025
Out again Tuesday
Temple (personal) will not play Tuesday versus Orlando, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss a fourth straight contest and remains without a timetable for a return. He was not in the rotation prior to leaving the team for personal reasons.
Mar 1, 2025
Ruled out for Sunday
Temple (personal reasons) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss a 13th straight game for the Raptors as he deals with a personal matter. The 38-year-old veteran has played in 17 games for Toronto this season, rarely seeing the floor when healthy, averaging 3.9 minutes per game.
Feb 27, 2025
Remains out for personal reasons
Temple remains out for Friday's game against the Bulls due to personal reasons.
ANALYSIS
The veteran guard remains away from the team, and his next chance to rejoin the club arrives Sunday in Orlando. With that said, Temple has logged a mere 3.9 minutes per game over 17 appearances with the Raptors in 2024-25, so his absence shouldn't have a noticeable effect on Toronto's rotation.
Feb 26, 2025
Out for personal reasons
Temple (personal) will not play Wednesday against Indiana, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple is not typically a rotation player for Toronto, so his absence won't have many fantasy implications.
Nov 12, 2024
Available to face Milwaukee
Temple (back) is available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple was upgraded to available earlier Tuesday, and now it's been confirmed he'll be available for the Raptors in this tilt against Milwaukee. That said, he played just eight minutes in the season opener, so he's not expected to have a lot of fantasy upside, even if he's back in the rotation.
Nov 12, 2024
Upgraded to probable
Temple (back) is listed as probable ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Temple has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Tuesday's NBA Cup game, and he will likely suit up after a nine-game absence streak. While the veteran's status bodes well for a return to game action, he will likely remain a game-time call ahead of tipoff at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Nov 12, 2024
Upgraded to questionable
Temple (back) is now questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple was previously listed as doubtful but now has a chance to return following a three-game injury absence. However, the veteran wasn't part of the rotation before his injury, so even if he's cleared to suit up, he's not guaranteed playing time.
Nov 11, 2024
Unlikely to play Tuesday
Temple (back) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Bucks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will likely miss a fourth straight game due to a back injury. However, he wasn't part of the rotation before the injury, so his absence shouldn't impact other players' playing time.
Nov 10, 2024
Not playing Sunday
Temple (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss a third straight game due to aback injury, but he wasn't part of the rotation before that. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Milwaukee.
Nov 9, 2024
Not playing Saturday
Temple (back) is out for Saturday's game against the Clippers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss a ninth straight game and hasn't played since the season opener, when he logged eight minutes off the bench. It remains to be seen if he'll be available for the matchup against the Lakers on the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday, but the chances of that happening are very small.
Nov 8, 2024
Doubtful for Saturday
Temple (back) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Clippers, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple hasn't played since the season opener, when he logged eight minutes off the bench. The doubtful tag suggests it's unlikely that he'll play, but even if he ends up being available, he shouldn't have a big role in the rotation.
Nov 6, 2024
Won't play Wednesday
Temple has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Kings due to back spasms, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple wasn't previously listed on the Raptors injury report, but he'll end up missing Wednesday's contest after having back spasms. He's been a healthy scratch in all but one game this season, so his absence shouldn't have any fantasy impact. Temple's next chance to play will come Saturday against the Clippers.
Oct 18, 2024
Will play Friday
Temple (hamstring) will play in Friday's preseason finale against the Nets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed the last two preseason games versus the Celtics due to hamstring tightness but will return ahead of Opening Night. The 38-year-old will bring a veteran presence to the club, but he will likely struggle to find significant minutes behind a plethora of young options in a year geared toward development.
Oct 15, 2024
Another absence coming
Temple (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's preseason game versus the Celtics, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss his second straight preseason contest Tuesday while dealing with left hamstring tightness. The veteran guard's next chance to suit up is Toronto's preseason finale against Brooklyn on Friday.
Oct 13, 2024
Won't see floor Sunday
Temple (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's preseason matchup against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple is dealing with tightness in his left hamstring, according to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca. However, the veteran's absence is only expected to be a precautionary measure. Temple's next chance to suit up during the preseason will come Tuesday against the Celtics.
Jul 1, 2024
Returns to Toronto
Temple will return to the Raptors on a one-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors signed Temple back for his second year with the team Monday. The 38-year-old averaged 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 10.7 minutes in only 27 regular-season appearances last season.
Apr 12, 2024
Coming off bench
Temple isn't starting Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Temple will return to a bench role after drawing a spot start Wednesday against the Nets. He logged only nine minutes in his last appearance as a reserve April 7 against the Wizards.
Apr 10, 2024
Nabs another start
Temple will start Wednesday's game against the Nets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will make his second start of the campaign Wednesday, capitalizing on the absences of three usual starters. In his last stint with the first unit, Temple saw 34 minutes but only managed seven points, two boards and a block.
Apr 5, 2024
Back to bench
Temple will return to a reserve role in Friday's tilt against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Temple is coming off a rare spot-start, but will return to his usual reserve role in Milwaukee. The veteran has averaged 2.7 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists across 8.1 minutes in 22 games off the bench this year.
Apr 3, 2024
Making first start since 2021-22
Temple will enter the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Timberwolves, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will make his first start in a little over two years. He'll benefit from a slew of Raptors injuries, with the team only having eight available players for Wednesday's tilt. During his last five appearances, Temple is averaging 5.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals.
Mar 28, 2024
Chips in 15 off bench Wednesday
Temple totaled 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 145-101 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
The 37-year-old wing has seen a significant role in the Raptors' injury-ravaged rotation over the last week, and Temple's 15 points and six boards were both season highs. With RJ Barrett (conditioning) and Immanuel Quickley (conditioning) both about to rejoin the lineup, however, Temple will likely be the first player bumped to the end of the bench for the rebuilding team.
Jan 8, 2024
Sees garbage-time run
Temple played the final 3:44 of Sunday's 133-118 win over the Warriors, finishing with two points (1-1 FG) and one turnover.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed the Raptors' final three games of December due to an ankle sprain, but he's been active for each of Toronto's first four contests of the new year. Sunday's contest marked the first time he saw any game action, however, with Temple checking into the game in garbage time while Toronto held a 20-point lead. Barring a slew of injuries to the team's guards and wings, the 37-year-old will remain outside of the Toronto rotation all season, though he'll serve as a valuable veteran mentor for the younger players on the roster.
Jan 1, 2024
Active Monday
Temple is available to play Monday against Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Temple is cleared Monday after dealing with a right ankle sprain. He's a quality veteran leader that has seen just 19 minutes of action this season.
Jan 1, 2024
Upgraded to questionable
Temple (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Monday's game versus the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Temple was initially doubtful for Monday, but the veteran is trending in the right direction. He's typically not in the rotation, however, so his status won't have many fantasy implications.
Dec 31, 2023
Unlikely to play Monday
Temple (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Temple will likely miss another game due to a right ankle sprain. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Memphis, but it's unclear when he'll be able to suit up again.
Dec 30, 2023
Listed out for Saturday
Temple (ankle) isn't available for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss yet another matchup while dealing with a right ankle sprain. His next chance to return will arrive Monday against the Cavaliers.
Dec 29, 2023
Officially out
Temple (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Temple has been downgraded from doubtful to out. The veteran's continued absence shouldn't impact Toronto's lineup.
Dec 28, 2023
Unlikely to play Friday
Temple (ankle) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Celtics, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to a sprained right ankle and will likely sit once again Friday. His status shouldn't impact the Raptors' rotation.
Dec 27, 2023
Won't play Wednesday
Temple is out for Wednesday's game versus the Wizards due to a right ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Temple's absence shouldn't affect Toronto's rotation. His next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Boston.
Jul 31, 2023
Heading to Toronto
Temple signed a one-year, $3.2 million contract with the Raptors on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple spent the last two seasons in New Orleans and was on the fringes of the Pelicans' rotation for most of the year during the 2022-23 campaign. He averaged just 2.0 points in 6.5 minutes per game over 25 appearances last season and will attempt to bounce back with the Raptors.
Jul 5, 2023
Waived by New Orleans
Temple was waived by the Pelicans on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple's role significantly decreased during the 2022-23 campaign, as he averaged 2.0 points in 6.5 minutes per game over 25 appearances during his second year with the Pelicans. He had solid playing time earlier in his career but will have to seek out other opportunities ahead of his age-37 season.
Mar 21, 2023
Dusts off cobwebs Tuesday
Temple recorded one assist in five minutes during Tuesday's 119-84 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Temple played five minutes in the victory, just the fifth time he has seen any action in the past two months. At this point in his career, Temple is nothing more than a depth piece for the Pelicans, providing far more value as a locker-room leader than an actual contributor. To put things in perspective, he has a grand total of 42 points in 21 games played this season. As you were.
Dec 14, 2022
Enters the rotation Tuesday
Temple closed with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in six minutes during Tuesday's 121-100 loss to Utah.
ANALYSIS
Temple took to the floor for the first time in almost two weeks, logging six minutes as the game descended into garbage time. Given he has played in only 10 games this season, it's safe to say that Temple's days of being a fantasy contributor are well behind him.
Nov 10, 2022
Off injury report
Temple (personal) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Temple is unlikely to be a significant part of the rotation when available. He's played just 21 minutes this season.
Nov 8, 2022
Out again Wednesday
Temple (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Temple will remain sidelined due to personal matters. He hasn't seen the floor since Oct. 30, but he's totaled just 21 minutes across two appearances this season, so his prolonged absence hasn't impacted the Pelicans rotation.
Nov 7, 2022
Won't play Monday
Temple has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pacers due to personal reasons.
ANALYSIS
Temple hasn't seen much playing time early in the regular season, but he'll be unable to suit up for Monday's matchup. It's unclear when he's expected to return, but his absence shouldn't impact the Pelicans' rotation.
Feb 9, 2022
Light run in return from COVID-19
Temple (COVID-19 protocols) played nine minutes off the bench and finished with zero points, one assist and one block in Tuesday's 110-97 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed only two games while he was in the NBA's health and safety protocols, and though New Orleans was shorthanded after executing a blockbuster trade with Portland earlier in the day, head coach Willie Green didn't turn to the veteran wing for big minutes in his return to action. Temple may still be able to stick in the rotation ahead of the newly acquired Tony Snell, but the addition of CJ McCollum will likely prevent Temple from seeing a major jump in playing time from what he received Tuesday.
Feb 8, 2022
Cleared to play
Temple (COVID-19 protocols) has been cleared to play Tuesday against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Temple had been listed as questionable heading into the day, but the Pelicans must have been encouraged enough by how he looked from a conditioning standpoint at morning shootaround to clear him to return from a two-game absence. Prior to entering the health and safety protocols, Temple had been held under 20 minutes in both of his last two appearances, but he could be called upon to see more playing time Tuesday with the Pelicans unlikely to have any of Josh Hart, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Tomas Satoransky available as the team works to finalize a trade with Portland to acquire CJ McCollum.
Feb 7, 2022
Questionable Tuesday
Temple (COVID-19 protocols) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Temple was out the last two games after entering the NBA's health and safety protocols Thursday, but he may be able to return to action Tuesday versus Houston. He'll likely come off the bench if available since the Pelicans' usual starting five is fully healthy.
Feb 3, 2022
Enters health and safety protocols
Temple was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Thursday, Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has officially been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nuggets and will need to isolate from the Pelicans. Tomas Satoransky and Herbert Jones could see additional run in his absence.
Jan 31, 2022
Shifts back to bench
Temple will come off the bench Monday against the Cavaliers, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple started the past four games but will move to the bench Monday in favor of Jaxson Hayes. Temple should still be plenty involved as a reserve since Brandon Ingram (ankle) remains out.
Jan 24, 2022
Running with first unit
Temple is starting Monday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Temple will move into the starting lineup with Brandon Ingram (ankle) ruled out Monday evening. His last start dates back to Jan. 9 against Toronto when he finished with eight points, six assists, three rebounds and a steal in 33 minutes.
Jan 11, 2022
Coming off bench
Temple will come off the bench Tuesday against the Timberwolves, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Josh Hart (personal) back in the lineup, Temple will come off the bench. As a reserve, he's averaged 4.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.6 minutes.
Jan 10, 2022
Struggles in loss
Temple notched eight points (3-10 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 105-101 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Starting for Josh Hart (health and safety related), Temple couldn't find his stroke from beyond the arc. His six assists led the Pelicans and easily marked a season high for the veteran. Despite the cold performance, Temple is connecting on 37.9 percent of his threes on 3.4 attempts per game.
Jan 9, 2022
Starting Sunday
Temple is starting Sunday's game against the Raptors, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple came off the bench in each of the last three games and averaged 4.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per contest during that time. However, he'll rejoin the starting five with Josh Hart (not injury related) and Tomas Satoransky (COVID-19 protocols) sidelined.
Jan 3, 2022
Shifts to bench
Temple will come off the bench Monday against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Temple averaged 17.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.7 3PM over the past three games with Brandon Ingram (Achilles) sidelined, but Ingram is back in the lineup Monday. Temple should still be involved as a bench piece but figures to have a much lesser role in the rotation.
Jan 2, 2022
Continues to pour in threes
Temple finished with 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes Saturday in the Pelicans' 136-113 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
With Brandon Ingram (Achilles) missing the last two games and Jonas Valanciunas (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) sitting out three of the past four, Temple has been one of several members of the Pelicans' supporting cast who has been thrust into a larger role. Temple has been able to capitalize on the opportunity by averaging 17.7 points and 3.7 three-pointers over the past three contests, but his strong run of production in both areas will soon come to an end. Not only has he shot an unsustainable 55.6 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from downtown over that stretch, but both Ingram and Valanciunas are listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game against the Jazz. Even if regression doesn't rear its head immediately, Temple will see his playing time and usage dip once one or both of Ingram and Valanciunas are cleared to play.
Dec 29, 2021
Drops in five triples Tuesday
Temple provided 17 points (6-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 108-104 victory over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Temple had himself another productive night Tuesday, taking advantage of the fact the team was without a lot of their primary offensive weapons. Temple shot 86 percent from the field, something that I think we can all agree will not happen again anytime soon. In a role such as this, while lacking certainty, he is at least worth considering in standard leagues as a 3-point streamer.
Dec 28, 2021
Starting Tuesday
Temple will start Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Josh Hart (ankle) and Brandon Ingram (Achilles) sidelined, Temple will join the starting five. In his nine starts this season, he's averaged 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.0 minutes.
Dec 27, 2021
Season-best performance Sunday
Temple supplied 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 117-112 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Temple took full advantage of an injury to Brandon Ingram (Achilles), turning in easily his best game of the season. While this was a fantastic effort by the veteran, fantasy managers need to just pump the brakes before making a speculative add. He has had periods already this season in which he has been playing starters minutes, only to produce nothing but inconsistency. At best, he should be viewed as a potential streaming option for anyone in need of some triples and steals.
Dec 18, 2021
Fails to score in limited minutes
Temple contributed zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists over 15 minutes during Friday's 116-112 overtime victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Temple saw just 14 minutes in the victory, failing to score and continuing his recent struggles. As a player who is well beyond their prime, Temple is only going to be relevant if and when the Pelicans are severely down on troops. For now, he can be ignored in just about every format.
Dec 8, 2021
Back to bench
Temple will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Pelicans sideline reporter Jennifer Hale reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has logged a handful of starts through the first several weeks of the season, but he'll move back to the bench Wednesday with Josh Hart set to return. The Pels will roll with Devonte' Graham, Hart, Brandon Ingram, Herbert Jones and Jonas Valanciunas.
Dec 4, 2021
Across-the-board effort in win
Temple had five points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Friday's 107-91 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Temple remained in the starting lineup, filling in admirably for the injured Josh Hart. Given what we know about Temple, this could very well be one of his better games this season. For those who took a risk on streaming him for Friday, congratulations. However, with Hart a chance to return against the Rockets on Sunday, Temple's value could be very short-lived.
Dec 1, 2021
Will start Wednesday
Temple is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Mavericks, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Josh Hart sitting out Wednesday due to a knee injury, Temple will rejoin the starting lineup. The 35-year-old has averaged 9.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in the six games he's started compared to just 4.0 points and 1.5 rebounds when he comes off the bench.
Nov 24, 2021
Returning to bench role
Temple will come off the bench Wednesday against the Wizards, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple received a spot start Monday but totaled eight points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and four turnovers in only 14 minutes. The 35-year-old has averaged 3.7 points in 14.6 minutes off the bench so far this season.
Nov 22, 2021
Gets chance to start
Temple is starting Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Pelicans have elected to shake up the starting five, moving Nickeil Alexander-Walker to the bench in favor of Temple. The LSU product logged just seven minutes in his last matchup Saturday against the Pacers but should be in line for a heavier workload Monday evening. In his five other starts this season, Temple is averaging 9.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal.
Nov 13, 2021
Quiet night in Saturday's win
Temple ended with just four points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and one rebound in 17 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Temple shifted back to the bench with Brandon Ingram returning to the lineup, offering very little in terms of production. Given these numbers are right in line with what he has been doing this season, there is no reason to have him on a roster outside of the very deepest formats.
Nov 13, 2021
Sent to bench
Temple will come off the bench Saturday against the Grizzlies, Christian Clark of NOLA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Brandon Ingram (hip) making his return, Temple will be sent back to the bench. As a reserve, he's averaging 4.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 14.7 minutes.
Nov 3, 2021
Starting Wednesday
Temple is in the starting lineup Wednesday against Sacramento, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran will make his first start of the season, as Brandon Ingram (hip) and Herbert Jones (concussion) are both out due to injuries. Temple is currently posting 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds across 14.7 minutes played this year.
Nov 3, 2021
Four steals, two blocks in loss
Temple finished Tuesday's loss to Phoenix with eight points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four steals, two blocks, two assists and a rebound.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wing had a nice night on the defensive end, but his box score is somewhat of an anomaly, as he'd recorded just three total blocks and two total steals in five previous appearances. Temple has typically been limited to 15 or so minutes off the bench thus far, but he was able to grab a few extra minutes Tuesday with Brandon Ingram (hip) out.
Nov 2, 2021
Available Tuesday
Temple (ankle) is available Tuesday against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Temple will play after missing the past two games. In 13.0 minutes, he's averaging 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds.
Nov 2, 2021
Listed as probable for Tuesday
Temple (ankle) is probable for Tuesday's contest against the Suns, Daniel Sallerson of the Pelicans Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has missed the last two games with a left ankle sprain, but he may make his return Tuesday. The 35-year-old has appeared in five contests for the Pelicans this season and is averaging 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds across 13.0 minutes per game.
Nov 1, 2021
Could return Tuesday
Temple (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Christian Clark of NOLA News reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has missed the last two contests with a left ankle sprain, but he's nearing a return to action. He'll likely need to pass various tests in morning shootaround and in pregame warmups to receive clearance to play.
Oct 30, 2021
Out again vs. Knicks
Temple (ankle) is out Saturday against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Temple will sit out for a second straight game while recovering from a sprained left ankle. Brandon Ingram (hip) is doubtful as well, so the Pelicans are set to be quite shorthanded.
Oct 29, 2021

Temple (ankle) is out Friday against the Kings, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Temple will sit out Friday's game after suffering a sprained left ankle. More minutes could be available for Kira Lewis.
Oct 28, 2021
Expeted to sit Friday
Temple (ankle) is listed as doubtful Friday against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wing rolled his left ankle late in Wednesday night's loss to the Hawks and was in visible discomfort. The Pels are leaving the door open for Temple to potentially still play Friday, but chances are he'll miss a game or two as New Orleans heads into a back-to-back set.
Oct 27, 2021
Won't return Wednesday
Temple has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Hawks due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Temple exited Wednesday's game late in the first quarter and made his way to the locker room before he was ultimately ruled out for the rest of the game. Depending on the extent of the injury, his next opportunity to return will come Friday against the Kings.
Oct 4, 2021
Draws start in preseason opener
Temple is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Temple will get the starting nod in this one alongside Devonte' Graham in the backcourt. After being dealt to the Pelicans during the offseason, his team is likely eager to see what he can do. Temple's play during these exhibition contests will likely determine his workload off the bench during the regular season.
Aug 2, 2021
Headed to New Orleans
Temple has been traded, along with Tomas Satoransky and a second-round pick, to the Pelicans in exchange for Lonzo Ball, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
In his only season with the Bulls, Temple averaged 7.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 27.3 minutes per game. If he sticks with the Pelicans, the 35-year-old will likely play a veteran bench role as Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson dominate the majority of minutes.
May 15, 2021
Starting for injured LaVine
Temple will start Saturday against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
With Zach LaVine (knee) sidelined, Temple will start. In his previous 23 starts, he averaged 9.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 31.0 minutes.
May 6, 2021
Back to bench
Temple will shift back to the bench Thursday against Charlotte, Bulls radio voice Chuck Swirsky reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Temple will move to a reserve role as the Bulls welcome Zach LaVine back to the starting five. Patrick Williams will remain in the lineup at small forward, while Coby White will still get the nod at point guard.
Apr 19, 2021
Scores 13 with three triples
Temple accumulated 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 31 minutes during Monday's win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old's 31 minutes were the most he's seen since March 3. Temple has now started the past three games for the Bulls, averaging 8.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers in that span. The 11-year veteran should continue to hover around 30 minutes a game for at least the next week with Zach LaVine (COVID-19) out of the lineup.
Apr 15, 2021
Small role in return
Temple (hamstring) played 10 minutes off the bench Wednesday in the Bulls' 115-106 loss to the Magic, tallying zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one assist.
ANALYSIS
Temple reclaimed a spot on the Bulls' second unit after missing the past eight games with a hamstring injury. Expect Temple, Troy Brown and Denzel Valentine to serve as Chicago's main backup options on the wing over the final quarter of the season.
Apr 14, 2021
Available Wednesday
Temple (hamstring) is available for Wednesday's contest against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Temple will be able to make his first appearance since March 29. Given that it's his first game back after a significant absence, we shouldn't be surprised if he's on a minutes limit. His return could mean fewer minutes for Denzel Valentine and Troy Brown.
Apr 13, 2021
Probable Wednesday
Temple (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday's contest against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Temple hasn't played since March 29, which is when he strained his right hamstring. However, the veteran appears to be ready to make his return. We shouldn't be surprised if he's on a minutes limit for his first game back. His return could ultimately mean fewer minutes for Denzel Valentine and Troy Brown.
Apr 12, 2021
Out Monday
Temple (hamstring) is listed as out for Monday's game against Memphis.

Apr 12, 2021
Questionable Monday
Temple (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's game at Memphis.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old sat out Sunday's matchup with the Timberwolves after being labeled doubtful, so he has an improved chance to play Monday. Temple has missed the past seven games with a strained right hamstring.
Apr 10, 2021
Doubtful for Sunday
Temple (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple seems to be making progress since he was previously just ruled out before games. That said, he's likely still not going to play Sunday. If that's the case, it will be seven missed games in a row.
Apr 9, 2021
Won't return Friday
Temple (hamstring) is out for Friday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Temple is set to miss his sixth straight game due to a lingering hamstring strain. His next chance to play will come Sunday at Minnesota.

Apr 1, 2021
Ruled out Friday
Temple (hamstring) is listed as out for Friday's game against Utah.
ANALYSIS
Temple will miss his second game in a row due to a strained right hamstring. Javonte Green, Denzel Valentine and Ryan Arcidiacono could see increased workloads with Temple on the sidelines.
Mar 31, 2021
Officially out Wednesday
Temple (hamstring) is unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old was considered doubtful for Wednesday's contest, so it's no surprise to see him ruled out in Phoenix. Temple's next chance to take the court will come Friday at Utah.
Mar 30, 2021
Likely out Wednesday
Temple (hamstring) is doubtful for Wednesday's game at Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old suffered a strained right hamstring during Monday's matchup with the Warriors and is expected to miss at least one game. Javonte Green and Ryan Arcidiacono could have increased roles with Temple likely unavailable.
Mar 29, 2021
Out with hamstring injury
Temple won't return to Monday's game against the Warriors after suffering a right hamstring injury, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple suffered the injury during the first half, though the extent of the issue is not yet known. Jovante Green and Denzel Valentine could be asked to take on a heavier workload the rest of the way as a result.
Mar 27, 2021
Likely to play
Temple, thought to previously be available but unlikely to play, is now expected to see the court, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
It seemed like coach Billy Donovan wouldn't use Temple on Saturday, but now it appears he's changed his mind. Temple has played a key role for the Bulls this season. In 27.9 minutes per game, he's averaged 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
Mar 24, 2021
Available, may not play
Temple (ankle) will be available for Wednesday's game, but coach Billy Donovan intimated that he likely won't utilize the veteran wing, Cody Westerlund of 670 The Score reports.
ANALYSIS
It's a great sign that Temple is no longer on the injury report after missing the previous six games, but Donovan suggested that he'll likely keep him on the bench due to conditioning concerns. The Bulls have a pair of off days coming up, so the plan is for Temple to use that time as a ramp-up period before Saturday's game in San Antonio.
Mar 24, 2021
Available Wednesday
Temple (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old was considered questionable for Wednesday's contest, but he's been cleared to play after missing the past six games with an ankle sprain. Temple is averaging 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.9 minutes for the Bulls this season.
Mar 23, 2021
Questionable Wednesday
Temple (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
A sprained left ankle has kept the veteran sidelined since Valentine's Day. However, he could return Wednesday, and his return would probably mean fewer minutes for the likes of Tomas Satoransky and Ryan Arcidiacono.
Mar 22, 2021
Out Monday
Temple (ankle) will not play in Monday's matchup with the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Temple's absence will mark his sixth straight due to an ankle injury. His next opportunity to return to the court will come Wednesday versus the Cavaliers.
Mar 22, 2021
Doubtful Monday
Temple (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old has missed the past five games with a sprained left ankle, and his absence is expected to continue Monday. Assuming he's unavailable, Temple's next chance to take the court will come Wednesday against Cleveland.
Mar 14, 2021
No timetable for return
Coach Billy Donovan intimated Sunday that Temple (ankle) will miss multiple games, Cody Westerlund of 670 The Score reports.
ANALYSIS
Donovan called Temple's sprained ankle "pretty moderate," but the veteran is still slated to miss some time after sustaining the injury in Friday's loss to Miami. The Bulls haven't handed down an official timetable, but Temple will be evaluated later in the week, at which point more informations should become available.
Mar 14, 2021
Won't play Sunday
Temple (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old picked up a left ankle sprain during Friday's matchup with Miami and will miss at least one game as a result. Tomas Satoransky and Denzel Valentine could have increased roles in Temple's absence.
Mar 12, 2021
Suffers ankle injury
Temple left Friday's game against Miami with an ankle injury, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple went to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Friday's matchup and didn't return over the final 10 minutes of the game. He'll undergo an MRI on Saturday, and a better idea of his return timetable could be revealed once the results of the examination are known. He totaled five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and one rebound over 21 minutes prior to his departure.
Mar 12, 2021
Available Friday
Temple (quadriceps) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, as Temple was listed as probable heading into the evening. He presumably picked up the issue in Thursday's game against the 76ers. He played 20 minutes in the contest, and assuming he avoids any setbacks, figures to again see a similar workload.
Mar 12, 2021
Probable with quad bruise
Temple is probable for Friday's game against the Heat with a left quadriceps contusion.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old apparently picked up the injury during the front half of the back-to-back set Thursday against Philadelphia when he had two points (1-3 FG), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes. Temple should be cleared for his usual role off the bench Friday for Chicago.
Feb 26, 2021
Modest output in loss
Temple posted five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes in Friday's 106-97 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Temple has remained in the starting lineup during each of the past eight games. He's had plenty of playing time over that span, but he's been limited by a modest shot volume over the past two games. Temple has proven to be fairly productive when he gets ample looks from the floor, but he's had meager results during each of his past two appearances.
Feb 16, 2021
Solid in supporting role
Temple has logged 30-plus minutes in each of the Bulls' last three games, averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.3 steals while shooting 58.3 percent from the field.
ANALYSIS
The ongoing absences of Otto Porter (back) and (indirectly) Lauri Markkanen (shoulder) have opened up more minutes on the wing, and Temple, Tomas Satoransky and Denzel Valentine all seem to be taking advantage of extra opportunities. While Satoransky offers more as a passer and Valentine offers more as a three-point shooter, Temple provides a nice blend of the two. He doesn't stand out in any one statistical category, but he's nonetheless offering solid numbers across the board of late, earning increased trust from head coach Billy Donovan in the process. Temple's field-goal percentage will eventually regress along with his scoring, but for the time being, he'll have some value in deeper leagues.
Feb 12, 2021
Starting Friday
Temple is starting Friday's game against the Clippers, Garrett Chorpenning of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will rejoin the starting five Friday for the first time since Jan. 18, while Denzel Valentine will take on a bench role for Chicago. Over the last five games, Temple is averaging 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 25.8 minutes per contest.
Feb 10, 2021
Scores 10 points off bench
Temple had 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven assists, three rebounds and a steal across 36 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Temple was coming off eight straight single-digit scoring appearances, and while the 10-point output isn't a figure that will blow anyone away, it was certainly a step in the right direction for a player that has been struggling badly all season long in terms of scoring. Temple has registered 10-plus points just seven times all season long.
Feb 3, 2021
Woeful scoring streak continues
Temple has scored 6.3 points per game over his last four games.
ANALYSIS
Temple's poor shooting numbers are related to his lack of efficiency, as he has taken eight or more field-goal attempts in three of those four games, but he's converting just 31 percent of his shots and 21.4 percent of his three-point attempts during that four-game span. Temple has enough quality to end these shooting woes sooner than later, but he has been unable to become a reliable scoring threat off the bench for the Bulls.
Jan 19, 2021
Puts up 13 in starting role
Temple tallied 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and a steal across 32 minutes in Monday's 125-120 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Temple started his second game of the season against the Rockets, and he's earned it through consistent play throughout the last month. Of course, Otto Porter and Partick Williams' absences allowed this opportunity, and it's unlikely that Temple will be able to hold on to this role.
Jan 18, 2021
Good to go
Temple (ankle) will play in Monday's matchup with the Rockets, Cayleigh Griffin of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple was originally given a probable designation, so no surprise that he has been given the green light. With Otto Porter (back) and Patrick Williams (hip) sidelined, the veteran could see a little more run than usual.
Jan 18, 2021
Dealing with sprained ankle
Temple is listed as probable for Monday's game against Houston due to a sprained right ankle.
ANALYSIS
The issue doesn't look to be anything of concern, but it's possible Temple could play at slightly less than 100 percent Monday on the second half of a back-to-back set. The veteran went for a season-high 21 points in Sunday's blowout win over the Mavs.
Jan 17, 2021
Logs season-high 21 points
Temple provided 21 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and a blocked shot across 29 minutes in Sunday's 117-101 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The Bulls struggled early in the backcourt, but Temple stepped in and lit a spark that helped propel Chicago to a win against the Mavericks, who lacked five rotation players due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. The veteran guard provides solid leadership to a young backcourt, and he's also come in handy at the wing while Otto Porter re-acclimates to regular playing time.
Jan 17, 2021
Available at Dallas
Temple (ankle) is available Sunday against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old was added to the injury report Saturday with a right ankle sprain, but his availability never appeared in question since he was listed as probable. Temple should fill his usual role off the bench for Chicago.
Jan 16, 2021
Should play Sunday
Temple (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game at Dallas.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old played through the right ankle sprain Friday and is expected to be on the court again Sunday. Temple should come off the bench for the Bulls, assuming he's available.
Jan 15, 2021
Active Friday
Temple (ankle) is listed as active for Friday's game against the Thunder, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Although he is active, Temple is not expected to see as much run as he has recently, as Otto Porter (back) and Lauri Markkanen (COVID-19 protocols) are returning to action. Still, it appears his sprained right ankle is nothing too serious.
Jan 14, 2021
Questionable for Friday
Temple is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder due to a sprained right ankle.
ANALYSIS
Temple has seen extra run lately with so many Bulls sidelined due to health and safety protocols, among other ailments. However, Otto Porter (back) and Lauri Markkanen (COVID-19 protocols) are likely to return Friday. So even if Temple is cleared to play, he could be in line for a reduced workload.
Jan 10, 2021
Scores 18 in start
Temple finished with 18 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six boards, two steals and one assist in 36 minutes of a 130-127 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Temple made the most of his promotion to the starting lineup, dropping a season high in points and rebounds in the contest. His starting nod had more to do with other players unavailability than his own play, but his response to the increase could make a case for an increased role. He'll face the Celtics on Tuesday.
Jan 10, 2021
Receives starting nod
Temple will start Sunday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Otto Porter (back) and Lauri Markkanen (COVID-19 protocols) are unavailable Sunday, so Temple will receive the start for the Bulls. The 34-year-old is averaging 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 25.4 minutes this season.
Jan 5, 2021
Poor production continues
Temple registered three points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt) and five rebounds across 25 minutes off the bench in Monday's win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Temple has scored 10 or more points just once this season, and that lack of scoring can be directly attributed to the shooting woes he's going through right now. Over the first six games of the campaign, Temple is making just 35.1 percent of his shots and 26.1 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.
Dec 26, 2020
Could play Saturday
Temple was "feeling good" Saturday and said that playing against the Pacers was a possibility.
ANALYSIS
Temple dealt with COVID-19 in November but returned to practice ahead of the regular season. He was available for Wednesday's season opener against the Hawks but didn't appear in the game. He isn't on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game once again, and he could make his season debut against Indiana.
Dec 23, 2020
Not on injury report
Temple (illness) is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's season opener against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Temple returned to practice Sunday after dealing with COVID-19 in November. He's been cleared to make his Bulls debut. He should have a rotational role, but it's unlikely the veteran will have relevance in fantasy.
Dec 20, 2020
Back at practice
Temple (illness) returned to practice on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Temple returned to the floor for practice a few days ahead of the regular season's start after he tested positive for COVID-19 in late November. The 34-year-old looks like he could possibly return for the team's season opener against the Hawks on Wednesday.
Dec 15, 2020
Won't travel to OKC
Temple (illness) will not travel with the team for Wednesday and Friday's preseason games in Oklahoma City, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple is still self isolating after testing positive for COVID-19 in late November. It remains unclear when the 34-year-old will make his return, with the regular season starting next week.
Dec 12, 2020
Remains out Sunday
Temple (illness) is out Sunday against the Rockets, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple tested positive for COVID-19, so he's going through protocols, including a quarantine period. It's not clear when he'll be able to make his Bulls debut.
Dec 6, 2020
Tests positive for COVID-19
Temple tested positive for COVID-19 last week, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple tested positive on Nov. 28 and is no longer feeling symptoms. The 34-year-old is currently in isolation protocols, and he'll remain away from the team until he is fully healthy. Temple's status for the preseason, which begins Dec. 11, is up in the air at this point.
Nov 20, 2020
Joining Bulls
Temple intends to sign with the Bulls on a one-year, $5 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple became a free agent when the Nets opted to decline his 2020-21 option. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.0 triples across 27.9 minutes for Brooklyn last season. It is unlikely that the 34-year-old journeyman will see those types of minutes in Chicago, but he does project to provide depth on the wing.
Nov 19, 2020
Nets decline team option
The Nets declined Temple's team option for 2020-21, and he'll become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran was a significant contributor for Brooklyn last season, averaging 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 27.9 minutes. However, the team has opted to decline his $5 million option and look to use that money elsewhere. Temple will presumably draw interest from competitive teams.
Aug 19, 2020
Pops for 21 points
Temple recorded 21 points (6-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 104-99 Game 2 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Temple scored a team-high 21 points in the narrow loss, and it's just the fourth time all season he's crossed the 20-point threshold. He was especially hot from behind the arc, where he led all players with five made triples.
Aug 14, 2020
Records double-double in loss
Temple posted 15 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists across 36 minutes in Thursday's 134-133 loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
The journeyman guard caught on with the Nets this season and received a lot of floor time with Caris LeVert sidelined in November and December. Without Kyrie Irving, the Nets needed a veteran presence in the backcourt, and Temple fit the bill. He's not the first name you'd think of as a big bubble producer, but he sneakily averaged 11 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists over seven games in Orlando.
Aug 10, 2020
Resting vs. Magic
Temple will be rested for Tuesday's game against the Magic, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
With the No. 7 seed locked up, the Nets will rest the veteran wing, and they'll also be without their top three players in Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert and Joe Harris.
Aug 7, 2020
Starting Friday vs. Kings
Temple is starting Friday's game against the Kings, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple came off the bench and played five minutes Wednesday, but he'll re-join the starting five Friday. In his 32 starts this season, he's averaging 11.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 31.3 minutes.
Aug 5, 2020
Back to bench Wednesday
Temple isn't in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Celtics, Anthony Puccio of NetsDaily.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 34-year-old received the start Tuesday and had 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-11 3PT), five rebounds and four assists against the Bucks, but he'll return to the bench with Caris LeVert, Joe Harris and Jarrett Allen rejoining the lineup.
Aug 4, 2020
Hits five threes in win
Temple had 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-11 3PT), five rebounds and four assists in Tuesday's win over Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Finding himself in the starting five for the shorthanded Nets, Temple responded with a strong performance, as he also added two blocks on the defensive end. Temple's 19 points were his most in any game since he went for 25 in a win over Atlanta back on Dec. 21.
Aug 4, 2020
Set to start vs. Milwaukee
Temple will start Tuesday's game against Milwaukee, Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily reports.
ANALYSIS
The shorthanded Nets will face an uphill battle against the East-leading Bucks, as they'll enter Tuesday's game without arguably their three best remaining players in Joe Harris, Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen. Temple will get the starting nod at shooting guard, and he'll be joined in the backcourt by Tyler Johnson.
Jul 28, 2020
Healthy heading into season restart
Temple logged 23 minutes off the bench Monday in the Nets' 112-107 exhibition loss to the Jazz, posting seven points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed the Nets' last four regular-season games due to an ankle injury, but he was on track to play March 12 against the Warriors before the league suspended its season. With more than four months to move past the ankle injury, he entered the Orlando bubble without any restrictions and looks poised to play a key role on Brooklyn's second unit when the team plays its first seeding game Friday against the Magic.
Mar 11, 2020
Expected back Thursday
Temple (ankle) is considered probable for Thursday's game against Golden State, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS

Mar 9, 2020
Ruled out Tuesday
Temple (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It will be the fourth straight absence for Temple as he continues to work back from a sprained left ankle. Expect Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Chris Chiozza to continue seeing increased time in his place.
Mar 7, 2020
Still out Sunday
Temple (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Bulls, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple will be sidelined for a third straight game as he recovers from a sprained right ankle. In his absence, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Chris Chiozza should continue seeing extra time on the court.
Mar 6, 2020
Won't play Friday
Temple (ankle) was ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple was already considered doubtful for Friday's contest, so it's no surprise he won't be suiting up. The 33-year-old's next chance to take the court will come Sunday versus the Bulls.
Mar 5, 2020
Unlikely to play Friday
Temple (ankle) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Spurs, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple is on track to miss a second straight game as he recovers from a sprained right ankle. In his absence, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Chris Chiozza are candidates to see increased run.
Mar 4, 2020
Won't play Wednesday
Temple will not play Wednesday against the Grizzlies due to a sprained right ankle, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple suffered the injury during Tuesday's overtime win over the Celtics, and he won't have enough time to recover before Wednesday's action. With Temple unavailable, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Chris Chiozza could see extra minutes.
Mar 3, 2020
Good to go
Temple (shoulder) is available for Tuesday's matchup with the Celtics, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple injured his shoulder in Saturday's loss to the Heat, but he appears to have overcome the discomfort. Barring any setbacks, he figures to take on his usual role off the bench for the Nets.
Mar 2, 2020
Deemed questionable Tuesday
Temple is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against Boston due to a shoulder sprain, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple apparently injured his shoulder during Saturday's loss to Miami, during which he played 22 minutes. The team should provide an update on his status closer to tipoff, but, in the event he's held out, look for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Theo Pinson to see increased minutes.

Strong effort off bench
Temple scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt) while adding five rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 30 minutes off the bench during Friday's 141-118 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Unfortunately for the Nets, Temple was the only second-unit player to score in double digits -- the rest of the Brooklyn bench combined for only 21 points. The veteran guard remains inconsistent despite a steady workload, and he's averaging 11.5 points, 3.6 boards, 2.7 assists and 2.4 threes through 11 games in February.

Scores 16 in 21 minutes
Temple tallied 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 129-88 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Temple reached double figures in scoring for the fifth time in his last six appearances. However, he wasn't able to deliver the same level of production in January that he managed in December, and Temple remains best reserved for use in deep leagues.

Returning after receiving stitches
Temple received stitches for a laceration above his left eye and will return to Wednesday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
According to Cassidy Hubbarth of ESPN, the veteran guard received 15 stitches after being inadvertently hit in the head by teammate DeAndre Jordan late in the first quarter. Temple had a hot start with eight points (2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two assists prior to the injury and will look to pick up where he left off coming out of halftime.

Exits Wednesday's game
Temple left Wednesday's game against the Pistons with a forehead laceration, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old took an inadvertent shot above the left eye from teammate DeAndre Jordan and immediately started bleeding. Temple had eight points, one rebound and two assists before heading to the locker room late in the first quarter. He'll likely receive stitches and should be considered questionable to return.

Starting Saturday
Temple will start Saturday's matchup against the Pistons, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
With Spencer Dinwiddie coming off the bench, Temple will be given the starting nod. In 26 previous starts, he averaged 11.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 32.1 minutes. However, it doesn't seem likely that he'll garner that type of run with most of the team healthy.
Jan 20, 2020
Starting Monday
Temple will start Monday's game against the Sixers, Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed the last three games with a knee bruise, but he was cleared from the injury report and will move into the starting lineup alongside Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris. The Nets will be without Kyrie Irving (hamstring) on Monday.
Jan 19, 2020
Cleared from injury report
Temple (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed three straight games with a bruised knee, but, as expected, he'll be back in the lineup Monday night. Temple has routinely topped 30 minutes this season, but he's benefited from extended absences of Kyrie Irving and Caris LeVert, so he could return to a slightly lesser role.
Jan 18, 2020
Expected back Monday
Temple (knee) is expected to make his return Monday against the 76ers, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple has missed three of the past four games, but signs are pointing to him re-joining the rotation Monday. A confirmation on his status may arrive following Monday's morning shootaround.

Won't play Saturday
Temple (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Bucks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old will take a seat for the fourth time in the last five games as he continues to battle a right knee bruise. Joe Harris (back) is also sidelined, likely providing increased opportunities for Rodions Kurucs, Caris LeVert and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. Per Lewis, the Nets tentatively plan on Temple being able to return for Monday's game against Philadelphia.
Jan 15, 2020
Out again Wednesday
Temple (knee) will not play Wednesday against the 76ers, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A right knee contusion will keep Temple sidelined for the third time in four games. His next chance to play comes Saturday against the Bucks. Temple is averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 27.0 minutes per game this month (four games), though he'll likely see his role decrease moving forward with Kyrie Irving and Caris LeVert both back to full health.
Jan 14, 2020
Sitting out with knee bruise
Temple won't play Tuesday against the Jazz due to a right knee contusion.
ANALYSIS
Temple missed two games earlier in January due to the same injury, but he returned from his most recent absence in Friday's loss to the Heat to play 21 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 108-86 victory over the Hawks. The veteran guard may still be feeling the effects of the knee issue coming out of that game, so the Nets will exercise some precaution with Temple on the front end of the back-to-back set. Temple is averaging 29.2 minutes per game over his 36 appearances this season, but his role is set to decrease in the second half of the campaign now that both Caris LeVert and Kyrie Irving have returned from extended absences due to injuries.
Jan 12, 2020
Available Sunday
Temple (knee) is available for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Malika Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Since he only missed one game due to a bruised right knee, Temple shouldn't face any sort of minutes restriction, but his playing time looks to be headed for a downturn in any case. The veteran had already moved into a bench role in his previous appearance Tuesday, and minutes will be even harder to come by with Caris LeVert (thumb) having his restriction lifted and with star point guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) making his return Sunday following an extended absence. Despite providing some useful steals and three-point production in recent weeks, Temple no longer looks like a player worth holding in most 12-team leagues.
Jan 11, 2020
Questionable with knee
Temple (knee) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Temple has missed two of the Nets' last five games with lingering knee soreness but will look to make his return against Atlanta. With Kyrie Irving (shoulder) expected to make his return Sunday, Temple could be in for a smaller role than he is accustomed to in the Brooklyn back court.
Jan 10, 2020
Not available Friday
Temple (knee) was downgraded to out for Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Temple was listed as questionable with right knee soreness but will end up sitting out for the second time in the last five games. Theo Pinson could have an increased role off the bench Friday.
Jan 9, 2020
Questionable Friday
Temple (knee) is questionable for Friday's contest against Miami, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple's appearance on the injury report is likely just a precaution taken by the Nets, as the veteran has played in each of the past three games while logging 29.0 minutes and 10.7 points. Temple is currently posting a comeback season in his 10th year in the league, averaging a career-highs in points and rebounds with 10.6 and 3.4, respectively.
Jan 4, 2020
Starting Saturday
Temple (knee) will start Saturday's game against the Raptors, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Caris LeVert (thumb) coming off the bench for his first game back, Temple will remain in his usual starting role. That could change soon, however.
Jan 4, 2020
Good to go Saturday
Temple (knee) will play Saturday against the Raptors, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Temple will take the court Saturday despite a bruised right knee. However, his role may be reduced, as Caris LeVert (thumb) is making his return since being out from Nov. 10 onward.
Jan 3, 2020
Probable Saturday
Temple (knee) is probable for Saturday's tilt against the Raptors, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Temple is expected to make a return following a one-game absence due to a bruised right knee. However, his role may be reduced, as Caris LeVert (thumb) is probable to make his return since being out from Nov. 10 onward.
Jan 2, 2020
Out Thursday
Temple (knee) is out for Thursday's contest against Dallas, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
It'll be the veteran's first missed game of the 2019-20 campaign, as the guard has played in the Nets' first 32 games this year. With Temple out due to a right knee contusion Thursday, Theo Pinson and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot are conditions to see increased run versus the Mavericks.
