Highsmith had been with the Heat on a series of 10-day contracts, but he'll now stick around on a full NBA deal for at least the remainder of the 2021-22 season. It's technically a three-year contract, but Woj notes that it includes team options, so Highsmith will likely have to earn his way onto the roster again in 2022-23.
