Fantasy managers shouldn't expect anything more than low-end scoring production from Jones, but if he's going to continue receiving heavy minutes like he has so far in March, he should remain a premium source for steals. He's now notched at least one steal in 15 of his last 16 games, averaging 1.9 per contest during that stretch.

Given that Jones is typically a below-average contributor in every other category, it's critical that he continues to receive heavy minutes so that he can produce consistent returns in steals and blocks.

The rookie has surpassed all expectations thus far this year and so while there are going to be some additional bumps in the road, he should remain a must-roster player the rest of the way.

Obviously, the scoring won't be there every game but his floor is certainly high enough to warrant must-roster status in all fantasy formats.

Obvious his overall fantasy value is heavily reliant on his defensive output, something that was on full display. However, his offensive game is beginning to take shape, to the point where you can almost rely on him for double-digit scoring on most nights. Given the trajectory of the Pelicans, it is reasonably safe to assume he should have a substantial role the rest of the way.

Even though Brandon Ingram (Achilles) was out for a second straight game, Jones couldn't replicate the career-high 26-point outburst he delivered in the previous contest, but the rookie delivered a strong all-around fantasy line thanks largely to his defensive production. Over his last 10 games, Jones is averaging 12.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.6 blocks, 1.0 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in 32.2 minutes while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line. Jones looks like he might be a solid fantasy option in 12-team leagues at least until the Pelicans get Zion Williamson (foot) and some of their other key players back.

Jones still won't have the highest upside but he could absolutely get a bump if that does happen, making him a player to consider in standard leagues.

Jones and the Pelicans won't face the 76ers on Sunday after the game was postponed due to depth concerns for Philadelphia, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Philadelphia currently has three players in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocol and another seven players on the injury report, leaving the team with just seven healthy members on the roster. Since the NBA stipulates that teams must have eight players active for the contest, the league was forced to postpone the contest. He's been doing a good job as the team's starting power forward of late and should remain in this role until Zion Williamson (foot) gets closer to a return. For what is worth, he's scored in double digits in three of his last five games and is averaging 8.9 points per game since returning to the starting five in late November.

Jones logged eight points (4-9 FG), three steals, two rebounds, two assists and one block across 35 minutes during a 98-97 win against the Jazz.

Jones' steal tally is the most impressive concerning his NBA averages so far. When logging at least 25 game minutes, he averaged 2.1 steals across seven matchups. Jones' steal rate is good enough to warrant fantasy consideration wanting low-costing options.

Jones is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.
