Since the All-Star break, Jackson is averaging 22.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.9 steals over 33.1 minutes per game.

The play of some of the most experienced players, such as Jackson, didn't help, as the big man has one of his worst games of the campaign while dealing with Wendell Carter, who posted a double-double, on both ends of the court. Jackson is just too talented to struggle at this rate on a consistent basis, however, and he'll look to bounce back Monday against the Pistons, where he'll probably match up against another promising big in Jalen Duren.

Jackson enjoyed his best offensive game of the campaign, posting a season-best point total to tie for the team lead in scoring. The big man's three triples were also a campaign high, and he's now hit multiple three-pointers in each of his past three contests. Jackson has yet to post a double-digit rebound effort this season, but he's complementing his 18.8 points, 7.0 boards and 1.8 triples per contest with an elite 2.8 blocks per game, making him a valuable asset to roster in fantasy.

The Rockets are a favorable matchup for Jackson, and he will face them again Friday.

His offensive production was a little subdued but he more than made up for it, racking up another five blocked shots. Over the past six games, Jackson is averaging an insane 4.2 blocks per game, scoring in double-digits in five of those games. The Grizzlies are rolling right now and Jackson is in the midst of a mini-breakout, much to the delight of his fantasy managers.

Jackson (calf) has returned to Monday's contest against the Bulls, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

Jackson briefly went to the locker room after appearing to bang knees with the Bulls' Alfonzo McKinnie, but he quickly returned to the Grizzlies' bench after being diagnosed with a bruised calf. Not to long after that, the 6-foot-11 forward was back at the scores table. He's expected to garner his usual role for the rest of the contest.

Over the last two games alone -- both of which Steven Adams (COVID-19 protocols) missed -- Jackson has totaled 47 points, 20 rebounds, four assists, four steals and 11 blocks.

While he does lack in a couple of areas typically linked to big men, his unique skillset is priceless when it comes to fantasy upside.

Jackson is an excellent example of why Memphis is one of the most frustrating teams in fantasy. The Grizzlies employ a massive 15 -player rotation, and aside from Ja Morant, most of the team struggles to see more than 30 minutes on the floor. Now that Jackson is fully healthy, the Grizzlies should be running him for a full complement of minutes and realize his full potential, but he's only eclipsed 30 minutes on the court five times this season. Despite those limitations, he does a lot with what he's given and is a solid source of rebounds for the team.

Jackson mustered 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 loss to the Hornets.

Jackson scoring in double digits shouldn't be anything impressive since he's done that in all but two games this season, but he surpassed the 15-point mark just for the third time in the campaign. He also grabbed at least six boards for the fourth straight contest and has been getting it done on both ends of the court of late, averaging 15.8 points and 7.0 rebounds through five November appearances.

A key component to Jackson's success Thursday was Ja Morant's ability to send the ball his way, which resulted in some nifty, highlight-worthy exchanges. Although his career in Memphis has been plagued with injuries, the 22-year-old is poised to make a huge impact in his fourth year with the team. Steven Adams has arrived to take Jonas Valanciunas' place, and Jackson will be critical in providing much-needed frontcourt support.

Though durability concerns and a lack of consistent rebounding (career average of 4.7 boards in 26.9 minutes per game) are blemishes on his resume, Jackson has otherwise looked like one of the NBA's best young big men since entering the league as the No. 4 overall pick in 2018. Not only has the 22-year-old been a dynamic shot blocker (1.5 per game), but he's also been a potent inside-out threat, converting at a 37.4 percent clip from downtown on 4.5 attempts per contest. As the lavish extension illustrates, the Grizzlies view Jackson as a cornerstone piece in both the near- and long-term along with star point guard Ja Morant. Assuming better health prevails in 2021-22 after he was limited to just 68 games between the past two seasons, Jackson could make a legitimate push for his first All-Star Game appearance.

A longer-than-expected recovery from a torn meniscus limited Jackson to just 11 appearances in 2020-21, but when healthy he's a proven scorer and shot-blocker who also hits three-pointers at an elite clip. Fantasy managers have to account for the injury concerns, but Jackson could easily be set for a breakout fourth NBA season.

He's proven capable of strong scoring, three-point shooting and shot-blocking numbers, but he's an extremely poor rebounder for his position, and he rarely hands out more than one or two assists.

Jackson has only played seven games this season but has been highly productive, scoring in double digits six times and putting up at least 15 points in four of those contests. His upside isn't very high as a bench threat, but he's doing enough to receive consideration in deep formats as a streaming alternative for managers looking for a scoring punch.

If you can take the ups and downs, he is worth grabbing to see if he can ramp things up.

Fantasy owners will hope his 28.0 minutes per game will come up a bit now because Jackson is a per-minute beast, and someone will have to pick up the 48.2 vacated minutes per game left by Crowder and Hill. It will likely be a combination of players to take on the extra load, but, as one of the Grizzlies' franchise cornerstones, Jackson should see at least a slight bump.
